"That Wasn't On The List!" Nobara (Winter) Fluff

Nobara has my heart and soul so here's a fluff :) (Nobara Kugisaki x gn reader)

You and Nobara arrived at the shopping center with your grocery list in Nobara's gloved hands. "What do we need?" You asked her again as a recap, but she was mesmerized by a pair of red shoes in a window display. "Ku?" You called in a sing-song manner. Nobara darted over to you. "What'd you say?" She asked, fixing her hair. "I said, what do we need? You have the shopping list."

She nodded, scanning the short, yellow list. "Eggnog, Sugar, and Cinnamon." She read aloud.

You nodded and walked beside her as you entered a grocery store. "Wow," She exclaimed. "Look at all of these cookies! They're decorated so beautifully!" You examined what she was pointing at. They were delicacies from a trending store that had just opened up. Nobara grabbed a small box. "Let's get some. I'm sure they're delicious!"

"Okay, but let's look for everything else on our list." You said, checking the price of the cookies ‐which were expensive. She hugged you and you both hurried to the back of the grocery store. (Partly because of how cold it was, and partly because of how late it was getting.) You found eggnog while she found sugar. All that was left was cinnamon; at least, that's what you thought.

Nobara gasped. "Y/n! The Christmas sweaters are on sale! We should get matching ones!" You had to admit - it was a cute idea. Walking around town with your girlfriend, who was wearing the same dumb sweater as you. It sounded nice. "You're right, it sounds super cute, Ku!" She held a sweater to your torso. "Do you like the Grinch or Rudolph more?" She questioned. "Definitely Rudolph." You answered, and with that, you had two Rudolph sweaters in the cart. Now, to find that cinnamon...

You looked in the aisle where most of the spices were stored but you could barely find anything there. A lot of the stock had been cleaned out. You finally swallowed you pride and asked a worker where the cinnamon was, to which he answered, "It's in the front."

Nobara narrowed her eyes, getting mad at whoever decided to remove cinnamon from its normal spot. You went to the front of the store and finally got the cinnamon you'd been looking for. "That's so dumb," Nobara whispered. You turned to her. "What is?"

"Putting the cinnamon at the front of the store. Why would they do that?" She crossed her arms and furrowed her eyebrows. You shrugged, "I dunno, people are just super stupid."

Then, you paid for everything. It was expensive, sure, but it was worth it. When you were unloading the groceries at home with Nobara, she grinned and pulled a piece of mistletoe out of her pocket. "That wasn't on the list!" You joked. She held it above you and you wrapped your arms around her, going in for a sweet kiss.

You had remembered those shoes she was staring at and planned to buy those for her this year.

summary: just a bunch of scenarios how you meet them and how they realized that they’re fall in love with you.

warnings: it’s all fluff. i tried to keep it sfw for this one. all text in lowercase and i tried to use gender neutral pronouns. also, please expect some grammatical errors since english is not my native language.

a/n: this is a continuation of my first headcanons. i really crave for some sweet and fluff headcanons with the jujutsu boys so i decided to write one. you can see how desperate i am for this, please give me prompts or idea of sweet, daily life with them. enjoy! 

kugisaki nobara.

you were walking around by yourself. the past few days has been rough for you, so you decided to throw some ‘me-time’ while window shopping all by yourself.

there was a girl, walking around by herself, asking (shouting) for direction. you found her personality amusing, but still, you helped her though.

not long after that, you’re enrolled as the new first year student of jujutsu high school.

tbh, you prefer to join a normal high school. although coming from a sorcerer family, you still are unable to get familiar with all of the weird things surrounding you.

in other words, seeing weird cursed spirits still scared you to death, sometimes.

still, here you are, in front of your dorm room which gojo, your teacher, had showed you.

you deeply sighed, but then the door room next to you suddenly opened and there she is, the girl you met the other day.

“you! i remember you! you’re the one who helped me finding that store!” she said, surprised.

“ah yes, i’m y/n.”

“kugisaki nobara. wow, i really didn’t expect for us to meet here. i’d really like your outfit when we first meet. it suits you.”

you both immediately become close friends due to your similarity in fashion styles.

lots of shopping dates~! going to check the new store that’s just recently open, going to a cafe, etc.

nobara is a fierce fighter, unlike you who easily getting scared of the cursed spirits. however, she understand your struggles and gladly help you.

you often being paired together since you can learn more quickly with her, although sometimes gojo also paired you with fushiguro and itadori, depends on the mission.

she rarely feels something like this but when it comes to you, she always want to protect you.

by then she realized that you are special, for her.

one time after shopping spree, you both decide to try a new cafe near the store.

you’re busy with the meals and drinks you have ordered, then she blurted:

“y/n, go out with me.”

you’re completely baffled as your cheeks getting reddened by her words.

welp, she blushed too.

“uh, i... yes.” you answered.

both of you just staring at each other, awkwardly and just surprised with each other words. but then you both burst into laugh.

you hold each other hand on your way back to your dorm.

nanami kento.

you were classmate during your time in jujutsu high school but suddenly you decided to quit that life and dropped off.

you were actually doing just fine, but that life is simply just not you.

helping people by fighting and eliminating curses, that’s totally unlike you. you prefer to shine in another way.

here you are, with your recently open bakery shop. after all, you always like to cook and bake something.

therefore, when you suddenly met your old classmate at your bakery, of course it would surprise you.

“nanami-san, it’s been a while.” you said, trying to start a conversation with him. “do you still remember me?”

“of course i still remember you, y/n.” he answered.

he immediately becoming a regular in your store, therefore you usually have already prepared things that he usually ordered.

the two of you keep getting in touch with each other.

you are the one who asked for his numbers first and he just standing there in front of you, asking: “for what?”

you still got his number though, good for you.

after having some thoughts, you decided to text him first. as usual, it went awkward at first. but thankfully, your relationship with him starting to improve.

he’s getting friendlier toward you too.

after a long time, you suddenly had to close your bakery due to some financial issues.

surprisingly, he’s the one to text you first this time.

you told him what had happened. “i’m sorry that i didn’t tell you beforehand,” you said. “you don’t have to be sorry. i’m just a regular customer.”

well, what he had said is true. you don’t have any obligation to tell your customer about what had happened, right?

although, he did feel kind of empty after that. he usually chat with you for a while when you prepared his order before he went to work. but now, it’s over.

that’s how he realized that he actually really enjoyed your company.

then, one day, he suddenly texted you: “y/n, i’m here if you need any help. we can try find another place with cheaper rent for you to open your bakery.”

with this daddy, phew. it’s going to be a looong ride.

you knew him since he is one of your neighbors. he was currently move in to a flat next to yours.

you barely talk to each other though, moreover his demeanor making it hard to strike a conversation with him.

one time, he accidentally received a package that was addressed for you. that was the first time you strike a conversation with him.

after that, you tried to have a conversation with him, even if it’s just a simple morning and good night greetings.

someday later, you mustered up courage to give him some of the foods you have cooked because you make too many of it.

surprisingly, he gladly accepted it.

since then, you find him to be more friendly than how he looks like.

“fushiguro-san, i made a little too much nikujaga and want to share some with you.”

“my, my.. who am i to refuse. thank you, y/n.”

even though both of you are getting more and more comfortable with each other’ presences, but still there are things that he doesn’t openly talk to you. for example, his earn for living and his family.

it’s quite upsetting, but you try to understand since some people do find that topic is quite sensitive.

i can’t imagine toji to be able to stay in just one place, he surely move around too many times. so, this time he was about to move and find a new place.

usually, he doesn’t find it necessary to tell all of his neighbors about him moving to another place.

however, this time, he suddenly knocked on your door and told you that he’s going to move out.

he didn’t know the reason behind his action, in fact, it was quite surprised himself.

though later, he found that your presence is actually comforting him.

one day before he moving out, he once again knocked on your door, asking for your numbers so the two of you still able to keep in touch with each other.

“y/n, let’s meet again sometime.”
