Princess Anna as young adult Anisa Kryze
Definitely. Though when she's younger, I always imagine her in more traditional Mando clothing: dark fabrics and furs reflective of a nomadic life, but her wardrobe becomes more stereotypically aristocratic and inspired by the Core Worlds as her husband goes becomes a pacifist and rejects the life of a warlord.
#Also I usually use the name Bo-Kira now#Due to a consensus between fandom members#But I still love the name Anisa#Kryze Family#Clan Kryze

"she isn't mean!!!! she just-" shhhh. shhhhhhh. She's Mean. Let women be mean. Sometimes women are unredeemable cunts and that's okay. It doesn't matter if she has trauma or a complicated backstory, if a woman is mean she's mean. You don't have to try and justify it or give it a different name. Being mean isn't the worst thing a woman can be.
#bo katan kryze#the mandalorian#“i love mean women!!!” [proceeds to argue that any character they like isn't actual mean regardless of examples and proof]#if the character is a former terrorist that repeatedly makes people feel bad for their own family lineage + calls groups “cults”#mean is putting it lightly#AND THATS OKAY#it's fucking fiction my dudes#text#bo-katan kryze

I feel like I've seen a lot of "Empress Padme" or "Sith Padme" stories where Padme's gets pushed to a breaking point and becomes evil or convinces herself into doing evil things in the name of justice, and while that's all entirely valid, I feel like I need more Empress SATINE stories.
Because Satine is, canonically, someone who is absolutely willing to go for torture and wrongful imprisonment when pushed far enough. She is someone who will performatively destroy things just to prove that she's "against corruption." Satine is someone who will see the consequences of her own choices happen and refuse to take an ounce of responsibility for it.
So I can absolutely see Satine becoming a violent tyrant while convincing herself and telling everyone else that she's just getting rid of corruption, she's just doing what has to be done. She will purify the world and anyone who tries to get in her way is just part of that corruption and will be eliminated.
Like maybe this is in an AU where she doesn't die during the attack by Maul and Death Watch, she manages to survive, but then she lives through the rise of the Empire and instead of being deposed by Gar Saxon, she fights back and fights back hard enough that Mandalore gets glassed early. And that pushes her to a breaking point because she REFUSES to let her people just... scatter, she WILL hold them together if it's the last thing she does, and she WILL get vengeance on the Empire for what it's done to Mandalore.
And poor sweet pacifist Duchess Satine just spirals further and further into her own darkness, convinced that she's just doing what she has to, swearing that it's necessary in the name of justice. But if her own people start questioning her, if they try to stop her, well they're probably spies for the Empire and she's promised to take out the Empire as vengeance for what was lost.
#star wars#satine kryze#satine critical#satine kryze critical#empress satine au#bo-katan is probably her general or her advisor or both#bo-katan is standing behind her telling her that their father would finally be proud of her for living up to the family name#and like at least obi-wan probably has no idea that the woman he had feelings for is turning into a monster just like anakin did#because obi-wan is off being a hermit on tatooine at this point#but man maybe after the events of the kenobi show he starts hearing news from beyond tatooine#and news of mandalore starts reaching him and he thinks it's just slander#but he has some sort of communication with bail at one point and asks about it and... it's true#and now he has to live with the knowledge that both anakin and satine became the things they swore to destroy#and now even if satine is technically still alive there's yet another person he has to mourn as if they were dead

Grogu is Dinbo's Child
It's adorable that Din and Grogu both have the same symbol of their clan on their armor-The Mudhorn. It signifies the moment a bond/relationship was formed between them. Since Episode 2 of Season 1 The Child, they slowly became each other's family.
But have we all forgotten the possibility that Grogu still has that Mythosaur necklace Din gave him?
And who has a Mythosaur symbol on the same right pauldron where Din has the Mudhorn's signet? Bo-Katan Kryze.
And all of it is in the same style—unpainted pure beskar!
If Grogu still has that necklace, then he carries both Dad and Mom's Din and Bo's signets: the Mudhorn and the Mythosaur. And since Din was the original owner of the necklace, it isn't just Grogu's; it’s also Din's.
I saw somewhere that Season 3, Episode 2, "The Mines of Mandalore," has direct parallels with Season 1, Episode 2, "The Child."
In both episodes, Grogu forms a connection with both Din and Bo.
In both episodes, Din and Bo protect Grogu in the same manner, by pushing his pram away from danger.
In both episodes, Grogu witnesses Din and Bo's combat skills firsthand.
And that line from Bo-Katan, "Do you think your dad was the only Mandalorian?" is like telling Grogu that his mom is also a Mandalorian. Just saying.
In both episodes, Din and Bo encounter a creature that becomes the signet of their right pauldrons.
Additionally, Din is saved in both instances by someone his group considers an enemy.
And explain why Bo left her new pauldron unpainted, like Din's, when she could have painted it blue. It's not like the Armorer didn't have any blue paint. It was a deliberate choice.
In Season 1, Episode 2, Din and Grogu started their journey as a clan of two. Since that moment, they were never separated. Grogu goes wherever Din goes. Of course, they were temporarily separated in the Season 2 finale, and that lasted for two whole years. But look, they still came back to each other because their relationship was already forged.
In Season 3, Episode 2, Din, Grogu, and Bo started their journey as a clan of three. Since that moment, the three of them have spent each episode together, never allowing themselves to be separated. Wherever she goes, Din and Grogu go as well.
But then the finale happened, and they were separated. However, since the bond was already forged, it was only a temporary separation. They will be back together once more, and when they do, they'll officially be a family, a clan of three.
In the finale of Season 3, Grogu sensed the Mythosaur at the moment when he and Din were officially announced to be a family. Did it just come back in that one moment randomly? No, I don't think so. It could be foreshadowing that someone would also be an official part of their family that carries that same symbol of the creature Grogu felt.
I believe Grogu should be next in line after Bo-Katan, considering the darksaber was originally owned by a Mandalorian Jedi Knight. Grogu essentially embodies these roles already. Many of us found it amusing that Grogu was randomly knighted in "Guns for Hire," but was it really random? He just needs to be officially named the heir to the throne. The most logical way for him to inherit the throne would be if Din Djarin and Bo-Katan got married.
I can already imagine how Grogu could possibly unite everyone. He would embody both Bo-Katan and Satine's visions for Mandalore. Bo-Katan, along with Din, represents the warrior aspect of the Mandalorians, while Grogu, as a Jedi, stands for peace, reflecting Satine's ideals for Mandalore. Grogu could carry both of these philosophies, making it not just Bo-Katan's legacy, but also Satine's.
Also, in Season 3, Episode 7, notice how Grogu is the only one able to step in and stop Axe and Paz from killing each other? Leader vibes already.
#Clan of Three#Their family just has to happen#It was meant to happen#dinbo#din djarin x bo katan kryze#din x bo#this is the way#bo katan x din#bodin#din djarin#din x bo katan#the mandalorian#bo katan kryze#stronger together#Grogu would be a really great Mand'alor#Grogu is meant to be a Kryze#I still don't accept that Djarin is not Mando's surname#Make Grogu a Kryze-Djarin or Djarin-Kryze#I was just planning on talking about the matching signets but the brainrot kept going on and on

I'm posting again after a while; I was watching The Mandalorian, all seasons, again (sorry, I can't help it)
And I think I can answer some of the questions that "haters" of season 3 or the series have tried to bring up about "why if Bo Katan regrets her behavior before, she doesn't cry or they don't talk about Satine ??
For a start; I feel that in this season 3 the time of the series format passed very quickly, too quickly, to the other past seasons. This absolutely did not help the plot much, which was somewhat lost. BUT….
First, Bo has definitely been shown in very sensitive ways this season 3, it is not necessary for her to cry too much to realize that she appears sad, disappointed in herself and tired.
IT IS OBVIOUS that the pain of her past, her sister and her entire career are shown through symbolism, the Kryze castle, the throne, when they destroy said castle, all that, everything bad that she did or that she step, he leaves with the fire, with the destruction of those icons and symbols of his past.
The destruction of the saber that separates the Mandalorians and causes Bo Katan to lose herself in her power, Guideon himself talks about those talismans, all those symbols of power and empowerment that they show us must be destroyed because Bo Katan is a brave, confident woman. , formidable, just as Din Djarin tells her, she doesn't need any of that to stand out and she's going to prove it.
Although we are strong women, we also have our weaknesses, but true power, the empowerment that enriches us, is what makes us strong through our loved ones, our people, acting correctly and that makes us feel satisfied.
When he decides to walk with Din and Grogu it is because although they have not done things correctly, they are also looking for a way to fix the disasters and do it as best as possible. Din started this job and knows that Bo Katan is the one for Mandalore. she resurfaces, she is the daughter born of this place, she has sacrificed everything, she is the one who most deserves this opportunity. It bothers me a lot when they only pigeonhole their relationship as “somewhat forced”, “meaningless” or not “romantic” at all, sorry but… it doesn't have to be romantic, on the contrary, it is appreciated that it is. because their connection is emotional, their connection goes beyond something physical or superficial and they have worked on it to create a pure bond, a bond that takes them to something beyond if they want to give themselves the opportunity, they are partners. , they go hand in hand together, not at the wrong time, not as a competition, but as a journey for both of them, so in Plazir 15 that is the message they want to give us from these two Mandalorians.
Love in SW doesn't have to be shown with flowers or silly romantic quotes or stuffed animals. Love is demonstrated in subtle acts such as caring, saving, protecting, guiding, advising, consoling, something very human but that can also happen in any other galaxy and is real.
And I'm sure that the path of these Mandalorians will unite again, without the need for bombastic scenes, weddings or silly things. Love blossoms in them and we will know how to see it.
The fact that this green child has crossed their paths as a new hope, it is obvious that love seeks to stay in this new nucleus.
It also bothers me when they talk about Bo being pigeonholed as a mother or wife and that is misogynistic. Let's see the panorama clearly, at no time is there talk of "maternal instinct" because that would be pigeonholing us women and here in The Mandalorian 3 it never happened. That since season 2, both Din and Bo can be seen and notice that parental sense, the impulse or parental instinct to protect the child, is logical and normal because we all have developed that instinct, adult humans, taking care of the little ones, for love, affection, affection, responsibility, etc. Between brothers, cousins, family, father, mother or children, even with our pets, because we are sensitive, empathetic and sociable beings and it is scientifically proven.
That Bo becomes attached or has affection for the child is because Grogu is nice, he has earned his place in Bo's heart and because the two have a connection, it does not affect anything in the story or characters, on the contrary it contributes. And that's not why she is pigeonholed as a mother, there is nothing wrong with motherhood because it exists because it is okay if you want to live it or not and Bo Katan can do it if she wants to or not, it is her decision. But she can be a mother figure, she can be a figure of respect for Grogu, affection and appreciation, a guide and an important part of his life. She can serve something else and not just war and combat. He can do so many things and his knowledge of war should not limit him.
I really appreciate that they gave this interaction to the main characters. No matter what happens, I take away the best messages from the series and this season.
I hope the rumors about "it's the last of The Mandalorian" "Bo Katan will no longer appear in the movie or he will die" "There will be no more Din and Grogu material"
be that, just false rumors I await you with much love to Din, Bo and Grogu.
this is the way.

Dad Din and Mum Bo just so proud of their child.
''One does not speak unless one knows.''
Din just being so protective and sneers at Vizsla's child, AND
''Don't worry my dad was the same way, he's just proud of you.''
Bo just being a supportive mum and reassuring Grogu.
How she squeezes his little shoulder and the look Grogu gave her… I can't take it, it's just so fucking adorable.

Korkie Kenobi is fun and all, but have you considered all the potential in Korkie not-Kenobi?
have you considered Korkie seeing a picture of Obi-Wan and thinking that maybe—maybe—maybe his parents are alive, maybe his mother has been there all along, maybe his father is an amazing hero out there in the galaxy saving people, and he's wrong, his parents are dead and he never knew them and it really is his aunt who is raising him, and Korkie knows this but he hopes, oh, he hopes—
have you considered Obi-Wan panicking when he sees Korkie on his trip to Mandalore, because even though he and Satine were never together, never so much as spoke about their feelings, for a split second he still wonders, and Satine laughs behind her hand because she knows what Obi-Wan was thinking, and Korkie is blissfully ignorant of it all because in this universe he never even imagined Obi-Wan could be his father—
have you considered Korkie making jokes about it, laughing with his friends over holonet conspiracy theories, and never in public, never where people could hear, never where it could get in the gossip magazines, because he's careful, and Satine had worried it might hurt him but he knows who his parents were and he thinks it's funny when his friends call him Obi-Two—
have you considered Satine being seventeen and pregnant and too ashamed to tell her parents, and then she's seventeen and pregnant and she has no parents to tell because they're dead, and then she's eighteen with a newborn and on the run for her life, and the young Jedi who helped save her rips up his own cloak to make a birikad and he sings lullabies on the restless nights and he changes the baby's soiled diapers, he does it all without hesitating, and Obi-Wan didn't father Korkie but he is the closest thing Korkie will ever have to a father—
have you considered Korkie being picked up early from his first day at school, sobbing and hiding in his Auntie Satine's arms, because one of the children was calling him a mean name and saying things about his parents and his auntie and someone named Ke-no-bi, and he doesn't know why, he doesn't understand, and he won't tell his auntie what the children called him because it's a bad word, but Satine knows exactly what they were calling her nephew, and she knows that he will be called it for the rest of his life—
have you considered Korkie with a single glass marble, stretching out his hand and reaching for a power he does not have, and nothing happens and his friends encourage him to try harder because if your dad can do it, you can too but Obi-Wan isn't his dad and he can't do it—
have you considered Korkie living in the shadow of a legacy that isn't even his, because nobody believes he is who he says he is, and his instructors all grade him a little more harshly because the son of a Jedi should be at the top of the class, and his friends all one-by-one find ways of asking if Obi-Wan Kenobi is his father and he says no but he knows they don't really believe him, and Korkie will never ever be who his people expect him to be, because they expect him to be the son of a Jedi but he's only Korkie—
have you considered what it would mean for Korkie to not be a Kenobi?
#korkie kryze#i'm not anti-korkie-kenobi by any means#but i think the idea of korkie not being a kenobi is SO underused#ESPECIALLY in obitine fics!!#Family is more than blood and i think we need to apply that idea to korkie more. for fun.#jessica's random thoughts#also umm kinda#jessica's controversial star wars opinions

Alright I’ve been pushed. Now I’m in a Satine Kryze mood. And BOY do I wanna have a chat some of y’all are not ready for.
Satine and the New Mandalorians are the true Mandalorians. Or at least, they were the popular representation of Mandalorians. First things first, I want to remind everyone that the Mandalorian history we have post Clone Wars-era is entirely told by the surviving Mandalorians, who are.. a fringe cult and a terrorist group (ie The Children of the Watch and Death Watch) and any other surviving exiles or enemies (eg Boba and you know, the Jedi). None of these people lived in mainstream Mandalorian society so how are we to believe them on what “true” mandalorian culture is when their beliefs or actions were deemed so radical they were exiled (or in the case of COTW, left on their own accord).
Now, yes, Satine’s position of pacifism is very extreme. No fighting at all ever is a pretty questionable long term survival strategy and an incredibly divisive one, but it’s literally one the mandalorian people defended and accepted and even tried to bring to the Republic. Because considering the historical and political position Mandalore has been in, it was only this extreme strategy that could save it. It literally ended generations of civil wars. It united the remaining mandalorians and built survivable, architecture for the barren world (which probably saved the planet, but that’s a different theory). But Death Watch, you know the party that meant to overthrow and kill her, will tell you that this was an erasure of mandalorian culture and ignorance of their warrior history, but that’s not the kind of warrior we ever see outside of Death Watch.
Everything in mandalorian culture points us to this much more protective survivor, rather than this vindictive sort of conqueror. Foundling culture in the Mandalorians is so profound because it’s something that is so unique to them. Other cultures do adopt nonfamilial members, yes, but Mandalorians do it so wholeheartedly and without question. There’s a baby alone in the woods? I don’t care if it’s 4,000 years old or its a race that hasn’t been discovered yet, that’s your child now. The way mandalorian clans are structured such that a foundling is immediately no different than a blood relative, whether they come from the same species or star system. Nephews or daughters or neighbors are all the same to a mandalorian (and a hot mention to mando’a for throwing out gender biases too). They are fiercely protected and fiercely loved too. Every excess that exists in mandalorian society goes to their children. To their education, their protection, the survival of the next generation was most important to a mandalorian society.
Even something like beskar, their very armor, was prized for protection, not for offensives. There’s a whole lecture on how beskar came to be metal of choice, but it boils down to being, guess what?, the best defense against lightsabers. And we see Mandalorians come out with the best armor design in like literally all of Star Wars armors ever. I’m not joking. It’s made for visibility, for protection, for comfort, and for not dying. Their identity is their armor. Its value and its design is sacred to each clan because it is forged from their history and painted with its battles.
So working back to Satine, who was raised learning all of this history, learning the ways of her warrior people and seeing the culture stray from what was once a people built for surviving and then watching it kill them, watching it tear apart her family and her home, and for a year, it even tore her away from her identity. She stands up to this massive swath of the deadliest fuckers in the galaxy, and she says “no.” She doesn’t raise a sword. She doesn’t point a blaster. She knows how. She was the fucking mandalorian princess. Clan Kryze was deeply respected. Her father died a hero to these people, and for her to stand up without using force or weapons takes a shit load of courage and some uniquely mandalorian stupidity. All to save their future, their culture, and their children. She said “kill me if you wish but spare the kids” and at the time, she can’t be any more than 20 because timelines are rough. She’s probably still just an orphaned teenager herself. This is the wake up call that broke the Mandalorian Civil Wars.
This is the Most Mandalorian stunt a mandalorian has ever mandalorian-ed since Tarre Vizsla himself told off the fucking Jedi.
She’s the savior of her culture, and Death Watch burned it all down because they wanted to kill, not protect. Satine was more a mandalorian than most of the Mandalorians we see. More mandalorian than her sister will ever be, and Bo won’t even speak her name.
#satine kryze#I love her sm#mandalorians#hi it’s me#i love Mandalorians#it’s me#there is shade to Bo Katan bc honestly she deserves it#but I do love her too just in the war criminal matriarchal lesbian kind of way#justice for Satine#she deserved a name drop in that big family spiel in mando s3#snippys txt
