When BLeeM described Cassandra's domains I was like straight up crying. I think I straight up doing faith in that moment. I honest to god felt so connected with the made up god that think I straight up unironically became a faithful servant of doubt nad a Made up god. To this day I say that my "religion" is doubt BC I don't want to say "my religion is a made up god for a roleplaying game. Yes I know it's fake. No it does not deter me"

Finally got to fully drawing out my irken celebrity characters and their servant. Red is Unna, purple is Nya, Kri is blue.

Unna: She was Tallest Miyuki's favorite singer. She tended to sing more elegant and opera-esque shows that were quite popular in that era. Her favourite activity is dressing up her servant Kri in cute little outfits and having a fashion show for anyone unfortunate enough to be caught near her at the time. Kri is something of a purse dog to her. She is very elitist and if you are even a speck shorter than her you're not worth her time (kri dis-included) and she will treat you as part of the scenery. She despises having to share Kri with Nya and the two are often found getting into screaming matches over whoes "turn" it is with her. Her biggest controversy is over whether her hair is real or not, something she has expertly avoided answering.

Nya: Nya is Tallest Red and Purple's favorite pop star. She's bombastic and loud and flashy. Her favourite activity is tormenting poor Kri. She has the personality of a high school mean girl: she'll drag you through the mud with a smile on her face. No one is safe, not even Unna. She is immensely jealous that Unna got her own servant before they were forced to share one and wants nothing more than to get her own or to take Kri from Unna as a petty revenge. Unfortunately Unna is still majorly popular with the irken population and isn't likely to lose status any time soon.

Kri: She constantly reminisces about the days when she was just the servant to Unna. She is deeply loyal to the singer and always enjoys playing around in the outfits Unna dresses her in. When caught in between her master's arguments she will always take Unna's side, incurring Nya's wrath for the rest of the week. If she had a choice she would get a shot at being an irken celebrity herself, as she has a very beautiful voice, at least according to Unna. Kri dreads the thought of one day Unna losing popularity and ending up as just Nya's servant. She is constantly exhausted from having to take care of two divas at the same time.

I've been posting a lot of fics this week, but since I've been so focused on other projects, I thought it only fair to release the chapter that I've been sitting on for months.

The boys have to babysit their baby mutant friend Kri.

Urgent Action: FREE JOURNALIST QAHRAMAN SHUKRI (Iraq/KRI 34.24)

Security forces in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KR-I) arrested journalist, Qahraman Shukri, on January 27, 2021. On June 23, 2021, the Duhok Criminal Court sentenced him to seven years in prison following a grossly unfair, secret trial.

Before his arrest, Qahraman Shukri’s journalism work was critical of Kurdish authorities’ handling of Turkish air strikes in the KR-I. The Court of Cassation court upheld the seven-year sentence in October 2023.

Qahraman Shukri’s arrest is in the context of a wider crackdown by Kurdish authorities on the right to freedom of expression. He must be immediately and unconditionally released.
