Warning: Long Post No one reads long texts anymore, but despite everything I've been through with my country, my family, and recently my son, I need to get this off my chest. It's completely unbelievable to me that so many people still don't understand the background of the genocide in Palestine. What kind of journalists or influencers do we have today? Are they too afraid to report and remind their audiences about the real story behind what's happening now? No, it's not just one year of suffering! It's outrageous how the media consistently ignores what Palestinians have been enduring for decades. Have they, or you, even bothered to look at the statistics of how many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since 1948? How many children have been killed? Who holds the responsibility for what's happening now? I often wonder: what if the situation Palestinians face was applied somewhere else? For example, what if, after World War II, the West had decided that all Jews should have a state in the USA—let’s say Chicago—how would the people of Chicago have reacted? Imagine the people there being driven off the land their families had worked for generations, stripped of their rights, and harassed or persecuted if they resisted. Do international laws simply not apply when ### is involved? Do you know that people in Gaza are killed simply for fun? Yes, for fun! Israeli soldiers have been known to shoot women, children, and even animals on the spot, then walk away. Did you feel the wind when those shots were fired? Or was it too far away for you? Do you understand what death means? Good. Do you know why there are so many Palestinians living in different countries, or maybe even right next door to you, even though they smell like hummus, garlic, za'atar, and other traditional foods? Do you know why your neighbors are Palestinian and not Israeli? It's because we've been forced to flee since 1948. Our cities were erased then, and more are still being erased—through violence, through apartheid laws, through genocide, through different methods. Ilan Pappe, an Israeli historian, wrote a book about hundreds of Palestinian cities that were erased to create the Israel you know today. This isn't a war that started a few days ago or even a year ago—this has been going on since at least 1948. More than 45,000 have been killed in Gaza just in the past year alone. 17 000 of them are children, and 13 000 are women. Do you even know what that means? How it feels to lose your children or part of your family? Are you going to tell us how it feels? Do you have no empathy? Is your heart so closed that you can't see the pain around you? Are you really so blind to the suffering of others? How can you ignore these realities? Do you know that the Israeli military has cut off all electricity and completely halted the import of food, water, fuel, and other necessities? There are no hospitals and no medicines left, and 85% of people in Gaza are living in makeshift tents. Yes, tents—but not like the ones you see in movies. These are handmade from plastic scraps. Do you know that my family is suffering from all of this, and I will lose them in this cold weather if you don't act now? Please help us and donate now!

Hermann Hesse - Der Steppenwolf (1927)
An was liegt das?

The Periodic Symbols, in the order that I list them, are: H He Li Be B C N O F Ne Na Mg Al Si P S Cl Ar K Ca Sc Ti V Cr Mn Fe Co Ni Cu Zn Ga Ge As Se Br Kr Rb Sr Y Zr Nb Mo Tc Ru Rh Pd Ag Cd In Sn Sb Te I Xe Cs Ba La Hf Ta W Re Os Ir Pt Au Hg Tl Pb Bi Po At Rn Fr Ra Ac Rf Db Sg Bh Hs Mt Ds Rg Cn Nh Fl Mc Lv Ts Og Ce Pr Nd Pm Sm Eu Gd Tb Dy Ho Er Tm Yb Lu Th Pa U Np Pu Am Cm Bk Cf Es Fm Md No Lr
Spaces, capitalization, emojis, numbers, and punctuation will not be taken into account. For example, the term "lush🍃13garden" would still count for Mercury (Hg). Letters are the only thing that interrupt symbols.
Tags:
#100% - Post contains all 118 periodic symbols. This hasn't happened yet, but when it does, I promised that I'd cut the post up like a newspaper and make a periodic table out of it to make the new blog header #90% - Post contains at least 106 periodic symbols. Only one post has gotten this so far and it was a list of every bird 200k characters long #75% - Post contains at least 88 periodic symbols #50% - Post contains at least 59 periodic symbols #<50% - Post only contains 58 or fewer periodic symbols #missing single - Post does not include at least one single-letter element symbol (H B C N O F P S K V Y I W U) #not a tally - Used for anything that isn't the main gimmick #arsenic potassium sulfur - Asks #thanks for the tag! - Post that somebody requested I make a tally of #periodic table tournament - I did a tournament a while ago for the best periodic table element. I highly doubt that this tag will ever be used again lol #bonus content - Fun little things that are related to the periodic table gimmick but aren't the standard tallies, like making a 5-sentence story without any periodic symbols or drawing a superhero oc mascot
Under the cut are some things to keep in mind before submitting asks or tagging me in a post:
I try to avoid any piece of moving media (video/gif) that has words in it of any kind. I also don't count alt text.
I usually don't analyze anything fandom-related, since nothing good can come from a fandom post leaving its circle. There are some exceptions I'll make, though.
I use a script to search for the symbols, but it can't read the words in images, so they have to be retyped into the script 100% manually. I'll most likely still do it, but just keep that in mind when sending in posts with lots of images.
I'll only analyze posts where it's very clear what order things are read in; charts, graphs, doodle pages, and other images with words all over the place won't be counted.
When it comes to URLs, I don't count them for the main tally unless they show up in a screenshot or as a tag somewhere in the thread; instead, the URLs of the users in the thread are listed out afterwards in their own separate tallies, with the elements listed in the order that they appear in the person's URL (this does not include URLs that only appear in screenshots/tags).
If you tag me in a post, I won't be counting anything that you added to the thread, though you will still be part of the secondary URL tally.
When I make a tally, I (usually) won't be adding my own comments, and on the occasions that I do, whatever is in my comment is not added to the final tally.
I tend to stray away from analyzing posts with other similar gimmick blogs already in them these days. This is because we all tend to influence each other's results- for example, if I analyzed a post where alphabetcompletionist tallied up all 26 letters, that would (potentially) artificially add Cd, Mn, and No to my tally. If I did end up doing this, I would be highlighting Cd, Mn, and No in a different color to denote that they would not have been there had I not reblogged from alphabetcompletionist directly.
My main account is not disclosed at this time; please do not try and find out what it is or I will block you. Another blog I run that is publicly known is @cantheykillmacbeth, if you just want to see more from me.
There might be times where I will accidentally reblog from someone other than the source of the post, or where I can't due to the source having been deactivated. If you go digging into the people that I reblog posts from, I am not responsible for what you see. If you blame me for what you saw from the people I happen to follow, then you shouldn't have gone looking in the first place. That's on you.
I will not be adding my gimmick to posts about serious topics. This is not because I do not care about these topics, but the exact opposite: I do not want the gimmick of this blog to be used to detract from anyone's message. These sorts of gimmicks are meant to add to the humor of a post, not act as a twisted punchline to a serious discussion. If you tag me in a serious post, you will be ignored (at best).
If you don't like gimmick blogs or whatever, then just. Block me, I guess?? I'm not gonna stop having fun because some rando on the internet doesn't like funny elements.

I roughly re-did the typesetting for this particular comic. The original artist is bungpa6, who is not to blame for the typesetting, as the text is written, translated, and typeset by Hoyoverse.
The 1st is the original, the others are my edits. The fonts I used are Animeace, Collect Em All, Meanwhile and Markerman.
The English translation had a terrible font unfit for comics, as well as errors not even a newbie would overlook, such as the text falling out of the speech bubble without a white border being applied, double spaces at line breaks, as well as the text not being centered even though it’s dialogue.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had to crudely enlarge the speech bubble, but it only took about 5 minutes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ENG (translation) and KR (original) posted on the official accounts.
Another edit:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The font they used here is Al Nile, which is okay as a font, but using it in comics is a really weird choice. I used Animeace in my edit since I don’t have the Bold version of Collect Em All. Here I used Meanwhile:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t suggest using Animeace, but I used it as an example as other viable options opposed to anything that doesn’t look like the Default font, since it’s a free font. You can use lowercase for comics, if you want, but you should at least choose a fitting font.

DieGierbeimEssen Teil 5.
#Wirhabennichts©
by Jackie Palmer Jr.

Week 9: Social Media Influencers and the Slow Fashion Movement
The centre of this week's topic concernered the Slow Fashion movement, Digital Citizenship and Social Media Influencers, and how they promote sustainability within the fashion industry. Activism, digital ethics and sustainability are some of the primary notions epitomised in one of the main readings for this week. Author Zhen L signifies the importance of "environmental, social and economic responsibility", and "how it should not be unique [to sell] propositions, but rather the norm within the fashion industry." (Zhen, L., et al. 2017, p. 15). Digital ethics and responsibilities affected by ‘slow fashion’ communications empower digital citizens to steer away from the fast fashion industry due to ethical, economical and environmental reasons. Furthermore, it enables individuals to live a more sustainable lifestyle to partake in a sustainable and eco-aware society.
What is slow fashion movement?
Slow fashion is the widespread reaction to fast fashion. It’s thoughtful, intentional, and holistic. It’s also an argument for hitting the brakes on excessive production, overcomplicated supply chains, and mindless consumption. (Stanton, 2021)

“Seventy-five percent of fashion supply chain material ends up in landfills. This amounts to ‘the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles per second.’” ("Pulse of the fashion industry 2019 — GLOBAL FASHION AGENDA", 2019)
The term 'Slow Fashion' was first neologized by author, design activist, and professor Kate Fletcher. Kate defines slow fashion as "quality-based rather than time-based." Other slow fashion pathfinders note that the movement promotes slower production, consolidates sustainability with ethics, and sequentially urges consumers to invest in well-made and lasting clothes.

How to use your voice and push back against fast fashion:
Part of the support for the slow fashion movement involves activism against fast fashion. In reality, if brands don’t hear from customers, they have no reason to switch their supply chains. So, to use your voice and help stop fashion you can:
Use social media platforms and ask fast fashion brands about production practices.
You can write to brands, too via email!
Some questions you can ask is:
1. How do you package and ship your garments?
2. Does your brand give back or support any social initiatives?
3. Where do you source your textile materials?
4. Could you provide a transparent breakdown of your supply chain?
5. Do you have a third party to conduct regular audits of your factories?
What else can I do to contribute to the slow fashion movement?
- Buy secondhand & vintage clothing
- Avoid fast fashion brands
- Repair, redesign & up-cycle
- Rent, Lease & Swap
- Buy higher quality items with sustainable material as they tend to last longer.

Any Research is Symbolism
Time Symbolism, or time semiotics as it’s known in technical circles, plays such a large part in human communication because people are constantly looking for deeper meaning. Whether it’s in the stars, drawn on a cave wall or in the newest visual content, we add such meaning to our communication through the use and interpretation of signs. The multiplication sign, also known as the times sign or the dimension sign, is the symbol X The multiplication sign (×), often attributed to William Oughtred (who first used it in an appendix to the 1618 edition of John Napier's Mirifici Logarithmorum Canonis Descriptio), apparently had been in occasional use since the mid 16th century SYMBOLIC TIME is understood to be the temporal form that organizes the symbols of a religious system into an order of periodicity. The analysis of symbolic time extends the understanding of religion as a symbolic system, so that the major functions of time within the system may be taken into account: the time intrinsic to the formation of religious symbols and to the ritual performance (i.e., the time that is internal to the sacred event)the connection that symbolic time has with the history and dynamic of a religious social bond, andthe time that is specific to the intentional life of the individual. Intentional Character of Symbolic Time Symbolic periodicity encompasses, in its temporal structure, both change and duration, implying a sheer sequence of symbolic events and also a type of internal correlation of events and symbols that reflects the functional unity of the interval of time and the continuity of its structure.

Time symbolism
Time in physics. Time symbol science. From: Time in physics and time Science? Time in physics is defined by its measurement: time is what a clock reads. In classical, non-relativistic physics it is a scalar quantity and, like length, mass, and charge, is usually described as a fundamental quantity. Time can be combined mathematically with other physical quantities to derive other concepts such as motion, kinetic energy and time-dependent fields. Time constant In physics and engineering, the time constant, usually denoted by the Greek letter τ (tau), is the parameter characterizing the response to a step input of a first-order, linear time-invariant (LTI) system. The time constant is the main characteristic unit of a first-order LTI system. Physically, the time constant represents the elapsed time required for the system response to decay to zero if the system had continued to decay at the initial rate, because of the progressive change in the rate of decay the response will have actually decreased in value to   in this time (say from a step decrease). In an increasing system, the time constant is the time for the system's step response to reach   of its final (asymptotic) value(say from a step increase). In radioactive decay the time constant is called the decay constant (λ), and it represents both the mean lifetime of a decaying system (such as an atom) before it decays, or the time it takes for all but 36.8% of the atoms to decay. For this reason, the time constant is longer than the half-life, which is the time for only 50% of the atoms to decay. More about Time constant on Wiki. See also: Time in physics and time Science? In addition to time-related themes, the hourglass is synonymous with cycles and balance Energy passes between the two sides of the hourglass just as the energies of our world are contained by the atmosphere and crust. All of the natural processes and cycles occur there (not including what happens in space, of course), which gives us a greater sense of relation with our environment. This also forces us to realize our roles in the natural cycles happening around us. Hourglass symbolism Time symbolism Ancient alchemists recognized the concept of balance in the hourglass. Its very shape is made up of triangles balancing each other out. Alchemists interpreted these triangles as representing two aspects of nature: the upper being the sky and the lower equating with Earth.

The meanings of symbols
The symbols carved in stone provide some of the best examples of folk art in Dumfries and Galloway. Richly decorated stones are often very attractive and combine emblems with different meanings. The first being symbols that represent mortality / immortality / biblical references, the second type representing the occupation and status of the people commemorated. Many headstones include a collection of emblems which may vary in style and sophistication even within the same churchyard. What is the symbol for time? More about Symbolism of Melencolia I by Albrecht Dürer SI Units The international system (SI) of units, prefixes, and symbols should be used for all physical quantities except that certain special units, which are specified later, may be used in astronomy, without risk of confusion or ambiguity, in order to provide a better representation of the phenomena concerned. SI units are now used to a varying extent in all countries and disciplines, and this system is taught in almost all schools, colleges and universities. The units of the centimetre-gram-second (CGS) system and other non-SI units, which will be unfamiliar to most young scientists, should not be used even though they may be considered to have some advantages over SI units by some astronomers. General information about SI units can be found in the publications of national standards organisations and in many textbooks and handbooks. time - second

The cyclical occurrence of day and night was one of the things occurring in nature that was believed to hold specific meaning. While different civilizations had different day & night symbols to record the passage of time, Day and Night, by themselves, were thought to have strong symbolic meanings. The recurring phenomenon of day and night was always considered very meaningful as it was believed that the survival of human species depended majorly on synchronizing the bodily and mental functions with the peculiar demands of day & night. The Day and the Night seem to present two entirely different worlds. Day and night changes even seem to have biological effects on mankind. The creatures that are aggressive, alert and seeking in the day become quiet and inactive at night. The dramatic contrast presented by Day and Night is equated with the disparity between life and death, light and darkness, consciousness and unconsciousness. Day and Night symbolize, respectively, the birth of the Sun and its death. With the rising Sun, the Day is considered representative of new life, and fresh beginnings, possibilities, hopes, and opportunities. It also symbolizes the active, masculine principle and the rise of consciousness. Symbol of Time and Life - Death of Time
Time symbolism
Symbols of Life Ankh has a cross shape but with an oval loop in place of an upper bar. The origins of the symbol are not known, although many hypotheses have been proposed. It was used in writing as a triliteral sign, representing a sequence of three consonants, Ꜥ-n-ḫ. This sequence was found in several Egyptian words, including the words meaning "mirror", "floral bouquet", and "life". In art the symbol often appeared as a physical object representing either life or substances such as air or water that are related to it. It was especially commonly held in the hands of deities, or being given by them to the pharaoh, to represent their power to sustain life and to revive human souls in the afterlife. One of the most common decorative motifs in ancient Egypt and was adopted by neighbouring cultures as an artistic motif. Since the late 20th century, in the Western world, the symbol has come to be used decoratively, as a symbol of African cultural identity, Neopagan belief systems, and the Goth subculture. Symbol of Time - The Hourglass
Time is Life and Death
Tumblr media
What is it Time of Life? The ankh is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbol that was most commonly used in writing and in art to represent the word for "life" and a symbol of Life. Its use continued through the Coptic Egyptians who adapted it as the crux ansata, a variant form of the Christian cross. Symbols of Death Symbols of Death and Time (Western) Medieval and Renaissance art made use of a number of emblems to symbolize death and mortality. Although a central theme of Christianity for hundreds of years the was triumph over death, the onset of the black plague altered public perception, and the emphasis was placed on the triumph of death over life and the necessity of repentance.
Tumblr media
Symbols of Death, Time and Rebirth Symbols of resurrection common in Christian art became less popular as reminders of the impermanence of life and the punishments of hell became ubiquitous.  The most common symbols of mortality were the grim reaper and his scythe, the death’s head, and the hourglass, all appropriated from icons of Greek and Roman Paganism. Slogans such as “remember death” and “all is vanity” were omnipresent- death was around the corner, and one had better repent if one was to avoid an eternity of damnation. The source of these macabre symbols was, ironically, the paganism that Christianity had supposedly replaced. In ancient times, the emblem of the God Saturn (Chronos to the Greeks) was the scythe, which represented the nature of the cycles of time. The scythe symbolized not only impermanence (all things living will be cut down), but the nature of the life cycle- plants must die to feed animals, and the tool of the harvest is depicts the necessity of death for the renewal of life. Thus, death was depicted as a natural part of the passage of time. The image of Chronos devouring his children seems macabre, but illustrates that the the Greeks believed the passage of time is so inevitable that even the gods were consumed by it.
Tumblr media
Hourglass = Rebel for Life! The hourglass is another emblem of time (see Hourglass Symbolism), although hidden within is the promise of life- because the hourglass is reversible, it held within a promise of resurrection, a symbolism not lost on everyone- all of these emblems later became symbols of resurrection to Freemasons and Rosicrucians who grasped their true ancient meanings. The skull was a frequent companion to ascetic desert saints in numerous Christian artworks, and was often paired with the book, a symbol of studiousness. In this manifestation, the death’s head was less ominous, and symbolized the rejection of the impermanent material world for the life of the spirit. Mary Magdalene is probably the best known example of these two emblems in art. *Some scholars theorize that the appropriation of ancient symbolism was a subconscious (or even deliberate) attempt to appease the old gods.  In later times, death was depicted as a process of the alchemical arts. Common alchemical emblems included the crow, the skull, and the tomb as symbols of the necessary death of the ego/personality.  Emblems of death are also prevalent in Masonic art and symbolism. Contemplation of mortality is a frequent theme in Masonic ritual and practice (see Masonic Hourglass)
Time symbolism
Día de los Muertos The Day of the Dead is celebrated annually in Mexico on November 1st, coinciding with the Catholic observation of All Saint’s Day. The Day of the Dead is a uniquely Mexican celebration, a cultural festival resembling Halloween in many ways, but with more cultural and spiritual meaning. The holiday combines elements of Catholicism with ancient Aztec symbolism, and honors the spirits of departed ancestors and loved ones who are believed to return to earth to join in the celebrations.

Coffin appearing with other symbols. Sexton’s toolsusually a pick and spade often crossed. Corpse and deathbed. Dead humans are rarely depicted in coffins but deathbed scenes are more common. Ribbon. Sometimes the symbols are tied together with a ribbon.
Tumblr media
The symbol of Time above represents extinction. The circle signifies the planet, while the hourglass inside serves as a warning that time is rapidly running out for many species. The world is currently undergoing a mass extinction event, and this symbol is intended to help raise awareness of the urgent need for change in order to address this crisis. Estimates are that somewhere between 30,000 and 140,000  species are becoming extinct every year in what scientists have named the Holocene, or Sixth Mass Extinction. This ongoing process of destruction is being caused by the impact of human activity. Such a catastrophic loss of biodiversity is highly likely to cause widespread ecosystem collapse and consequently render the planet uninhabitable for humans.   In order to spread the message as widely as possible, please create this symbol in any location you feel able to.  Colors of Death Black is the color of mourning in many European cultures. Black clothing is typically worn at funerals to show mourning for the death of the person. In East Asia, white is similarly associated with mourning; it represented the purity and perfection of the deceased person's spirit. During the Victorian era, purple and grey were considered to be mourning colors in addition to black. Furthermore, in Revelation 6 in The Bible, Death is one of the four horsemen; and he rides a pale horse

A Briefer History of Time Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mladinow Foreword THE TITLE OF THIS BOOK DIFFERS by only two letters from that of a book first published in 1988. A Brief History of Time was on the London Sunday Times best-seller list for 237 weeks and has sold about one copy for every 750 men, women, and children on earth. It was a remarkable success for a book that addressed some of the most difficult issues in modern physics. Yet those difficult issues are also the most exciting, for they address big, basic questions: What do we really know about the universe? How do we know it? Where did the universe come from, and where is it going? Those questions were the essence of A Brief History of Time, and they are also the focus of this book. In the years since A Brief History of Time was published, feedback has come in from readers of all ages, of all professions, and from all over the world. One repeated request has been for a new version, one that maintains the essence of A Brief History yet explains the most important concepts in a clearer, more leisurely manner. Although one might expect that such a book would be entitled A Less Brief History of Time, it was also clear from the feedback that few readers are seeking a lengthy dissertation befitting a college-level course in cosmology. Thus, the present approach. In writing A Briefer History of Time we have maintained and expanded the essential content of the original book, yet taken care to maintain its length and readability. This is a briefer history indeed, for some of the more technical content has been left out, but we feel we have more than compensated for that by the more probing treatment of the material that is really the heart of the book. The Symbolism of Time or Kala and Death in Hinduism
The development of Vedic philosophy was centered around this most important feature of our existence. In fact the Vedas are meant to be a solution to this problem. All the ritual and spiritual practices prescribed in the Vedas are meant to resolve this fundamental problem of our existence. Every religion and tradition that originated int he Indian soil subsequently tried to address in their own ways. The Upanishads, therefore, describe Death as the Lord of creation or creation itself. Our macrocosm (the world), just as our microcosms (bodies) represent Death. The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.2) describes how Death manifested. "In the beginning, there was nothing here whatsoever. Indeed, by Death only all this was enveloped, or by hunger, because hunger is death only. He created the mind thinking, “Let me have a mind.” Then, He performed worship. From that worship, water was produced. He thought, “Truly while I was worshipping, water was produced. That is why water is called Arca. Surely, water comes to him who thus knows why water came to be known as Arca.” Another name give to Death is Kala or time. Time rules our lives. We depart from here when our time comes. The fate of everything in the mortal world is shaped and controlled by Time only. Hence in Hinduism Time or Kala is equated with death. Time is one of the highest aspects of Manifested Brahman. He manifested before the worlds and beings manifested. Hence he is the foremost among the deities. At the start of this month I promised to write down a full transcript of the talk segment at Japan Expo. Due to work & my vacation, I didn’t get it done as soon as I had hoped. But, it’s here right now!
Well, obviously it’s an English translation of the transcription... xD I tried color coding the text, but tumblr seems to hate color, so... You’ll have to do with name codes instead! (And I hope I didn’t make any mistakes along the way...)
SR =Sato Ryuji ST = Sakiyama Tsubasa KR = Kitazono Ryo SD = Saeki Daichi OS= Ohira Shunya AL = All
(Oh, and remember I mentioned I’d be sharing a “nice little Toumyu something” last week, you can now find it in my Toumyu folder. Please make sure to read the text file too!)
Saturday, 8 July 2017 Talk Segment
AL          Hello, Japan Expo! Bonjour!                We are the Touken Danshi.
SR           I portray Kashu Kiyomitsu, I'm Sato Ryuji. KR           I portray Kogitsunemaru, I'm Kitazono Ryo. ST           I portray Ishikirimaru, I'm Sakiyama Tsubasa. SD           I portray Iwatoshi, I'm Saeki Daichi. OS           I portray Imanotsurugi, I'm Ohira Shunya!
SR           The Touken Ranbu musicals are based on a game by the same name. KR           The goal of the game is to gather, train and strengthen Touken Danshi                 in order to protect history. ST           Aside from Japan, we also had performances in China's Shanghai and                 Zhuhai                Earlier this year we also guested at the India Gaming Show. SD           We also got to give a special performance at Itsukushima Shrine, a                  world heritage site.                And at the end of last year we also held a live concert. OS          Yes, that's right. By the way, does anyone here know Touken Ranbu SR           Sounds like a lot OS          Yes, it does.                By the way, the anime Katsugeki Touken Ranbu just started airing.                Everyone, please check it out!
ST           So, this is our first time in Paris.                Well, yesterday we also got to perform on this stage.                Yesterday we talked about the places in Paris we'd like to see.                Today I'd like us to talk about what caught our eye in Paris.                For me, it's the Seine. KR           The Seine? ST           This morning, before coming here, we took a stroll along the river. SR           You didn't seem to be enjoying it that much though. [1]   ST           Yeah, I suppose.                Who's next? OS          Who's next? KR           For me, it's the French baguettes.                French baguettes.                See, everyone loves them, right?                Tsubasa and I immediately bought one after arriving in Paris and ate it                 in the bus to our hotel. ST           Who's next? OS          May I?                 There's one thing that really amazed me.                 The afternoons are really long.                 In Japan the sun usually rises at 5AM and goes down at 5PM.                 But in France the sun rises really early and doesn't go down until                 10PM, right?                 Everyone, please visit Japan sometime! ST           How about you, Iwatoshi? SD           Let me think.                Japanese history is quite remarkable.                But I think French History is also quite interesting, especially the                French Revolution.                I really love the movie narrating those events, Les Misérables.                Right, the police officer Javert took his own life by jumping in the                Seine.  SR          Too long, take a break. [2] SD           A break? [2] ST           How about you, Kashu? SR           For me, it surprised me how incredibly beautiful the French people                are.                Not as beautiful as I though.                Also, in Japan we... FAN       RYUJI/KASHU! SR          Yes?                We have French cuisine in Japan too.                But the French cuisine in France definitely tastes better.                All right, let's keep talking.
SR           Next up, what Japanese food would you recommend to everyone?                 Who would like to start? ST           Soba noodles! ST           You have warm soba noodles and cold soba noodles, ST           I recommend you try warm soba noodles. [3] SD           I'd like to recommend rice balls.                There are a lot of flavors to try.                 Aren't they great? ST           What flavor do you prefer? SD           Me? I prefer kelp.                You're exaggerating! (to Tsubasa) OS          I think everyone could tell. [4] ST           I'm sorry. KR           I recommend sushi. SR           There's one over there, a drawing of you. [5] KR           No, that's not what I mean.                It seems that outside Japan people don't eat freshly made sushi all that                often.                Only when it's freshly made, the flavor of the fish can be fully                 appreciated.                Be sure to try some freshly made sushi in Japan. SR           Maybe some have already? KR           Who has tried sushi before? SR           Quite a lot of people. ST           While we're at it, which flavor do you like? KR           My favorite ingredient for sushi is horse mackerel. AL           I see, horse mackerel? KR           Yes, horse mackerel.
SR           How about you, Imanotsurugi? OS          For me it's definitely that.                If we're talking about something Japanese, it would be rice.                You should try rice with natto. [6]                And you top it with an umeboshi. Do you know what umeboshi are? [6]                It looks like many of you don't know, but umeboshi are really sour.                Please try them! SR           If I had to recommend something, it would be dango. [7]                I'd like ever, oh....                OK, I'd like everyone who doesn't know Touken Ranbu to remember.                Touken Danshi love dango!                All right, let's talk some more!                Sounds like our master needs us.                Everyone, are you ready? AL           Yeah! ST           I'm not a specialist in warfare, but I'll do what I can. SR           All right, into battle! SD           Let's go hunting! KR           I'm taking the field. ST           But I haven't finished the incantations and prayers yet! OS          All right, everyone ready?                All right, let's go to war!
SR           Thank you, everyone. Au revoir! (Goodbye) KR           Thank you very much.                Thank you, Paris! ST           Thank you very much for today.                À la prochaine.(Until next time.) SD           Thank you very much. Merci, Paris! OS          Merci! (Thank you)                Je t'aime beaucoup!(I love you all a lot) SR           Let's meet again! See you!

OS          By the way, does anyone here know Touken Ranbu?                By the way, the anime Katsugeki Touken Ranbu just started airing.                Please check it out later.
ST           Yes, we... thank you very much.                Yesterday we arrived in Paris and this is our first time here.                We already got to taste things like onion soup and mozzarella. SD           That cheese was really delicious! ST           By the way, since we've come all the way to Paris,                I'd like to hear what places you'd like to visit. SR           Disneyland Paris. ST           That goes without saying. [8]                What else? SD           Avenue des Champ-Élysées. KR           I'd like to go to the Louvre. OS          I'd like to see this one, the Eiffel Tower! SD           That's so cute. ST           I wanted to go here.
SR           But they use a lot of cheese in French cuisine, don't you agree? SD           And there's a really unique smell to it. SR           Anyway,                I'd like us to recommend some places in Japan for everyone to visit.                Who has been to Japan before? ST           That's quite a lot of people.                My recommendation would be to visit temples.                I really hope you'll visit some while in Japan. SD           I think you should visit the Tokyo Sky Tree.                It equals the Eiffel tower, Imanotsurugi just mentioned, in magnificence. KR           It's not really a place, but I think Japan is really famous for its martial arts.                Like sumo, karate and judo.                I think... [9]                If you have the chance, I really hope you'll give it a try. SR           How about you, Imanotsurugi? OS          Well, let me think.                As I think many here haven't visited Japan before,                please visit Japan during the Olympics! SR           Since I'm the sword of one of the Shinsengumi members,                I'd like you to visit Kyoto.
OS          While we're at it,                let's introduce our character's distinguishing feature to everyone.                Is that all right with you?                Thank you. Who goes first? SR           Shall I begin?                For me, it would be my red-painted nails and high-heeled shoes. SD           You're a smart dresser. SR           Yes, I suppose. OS          You're very stylish.                Who's next? ST           Just now I recommended visiting shrines in Japan.                I'm wearing this attire, known as kariginu, which is worn during                ceremonies at a shrine.                I think that would be my distinguishing feature. ??           Then, who's next? KR           May I?                Mine would definitely be my fluffy hair,                and this sexy off-the-shoulder look of my yellow kimono.                Yes, I think that's it. SD           My distinguishing feature is most definitely this long Naginata.                It's way too long.                And also, this cute hood. OS          It's really cute, isn't it.                Good, may I?                I'm a tantou, and a mamorigatana. [10]                For that reason Tantou are pretty small,                and pretty nimble,                and really energetic. FAN       CUTE! OS          Thank you!                My character Imanotsurugi has a really cute line.                Will you say it with me?                Here we go! Imitez moi!(Repeat after me)                Babyuun!                One more time! ??           Amazing! OS          Merci! (Thank you) ST           Well done. SD           Isn't this fun?  SR           All right, are you ready? AL           Yes! ST           I'm not a specialist in warfare, but I'll do what I can. SR           All right, into battle! SD           Let's go hunting! KR           I'm taking the field. OS          All right, let's go to war!
[1] I'm not sure if I understood this right! Either Tsubasa didn't look like he enjoyed it, or Ryuji didn't enjoy it as much as Tsubasa, or Tsubasa dragged them along whether they wanted to not.
[2] Not literally what they're saying, because I can't hear it well, but Ryuji seem to be pointing out to Daichi he should give the interpreter a chance to speak.
[3] I agree with Tsubasa, warm noodles are better.
[4] I think Tsubasa was pulling a weird face at this point.
[5] A word play by Kashu? (Zushi = illustration)
[6] Natto = fermented soybeans, umeboshi = pickled plum
[7] Dango = boiled or steamed ball of (rice) flour
[8] This is a guess, I didn't catch on to what he said
[9] At this point Ryo's mic sent a loud screeching noise through the room, cutting off his sentence.
[10] tantou = dagger, mamorigatana = sword to defend oneself with

In diesem Beitrag finden Sie deswegen heraus, was einen guten Weintemperierschrank ausmacht.

Cel zbiórki to zaledwie 200 tys. złotych…
