If you haven’t read A Way From Darkness, Taylor’s book about his journey to recovery, it’s a must read!!! It was this book that helped open my eyes as to how dangerous the prescribed pain medication I was taking actually was. It showed me a real story of a real person who fell into addiction. Grateful and Thankful to my Teacher, Sharathji for giving me his blessing to share this wonderful and transformative method. I will always be your student! Another season has ended again at the shala, as I am in the bus right now headed to the airport in Bangalore, my experiences during this trip are running in my head. This trip totally taught me a lot of things and some important life lessons. My trips in Mysore or in India in general for the past 3 seasons were never easy and it taught me to believe that if you really want something you have to work hard for it in order for you to achieve it without stepping on other people and doing it with integrity. This trip also taught me to be emotionally grounded through patience, it made me stronger mentally and spiritually. My time with my teacher, Sharathji is always transformational, my heartfelt gratitude to you. Thank you for always holding space for everyone. To my old friends and new friends it was lovely to see and meet all of you!
