Digimon Adventure and Colour Theory - Koushirou Izumi: Purple (& Orange) [Text Source: Colours Explained]

“Because of its rarity in nature, purple is seen as a mysterious and supernatural color associated with royalty and religion – yet some people perceive it as artificial. It’s an uplifting spirit that evokes devotion but also intimidates for its superiority. It can convey arrogance, immaturity, and an emotional state of mind. It is a color that resonates with creative souls, and encourages self-knowledge, deepening our understanding of our innermost thoughts. As such a mysterious color, purple evokes sensuality and relates closely to femininity.”

“Purple is a color associated with royalty, luxury, spirituality, and the supernatural.

These associations came from thousands of years ago when our world was just learning about the color purple.

Purple was and still is relatively rare in nature, the dye’s production was difficult and the color was resistant to fading. As a result, Tyrian purple became a status symbol standing for wealth, power, and prestige.

In the meaning of the colors, purple evokes power, mystery, extravaganza, and wisdom.

As expected, the negative meanings of purple are self-importance, conceit, and corruption.

Still, purple is also a combination of red and blue. With red’s energy and blue’s calm, purple is a color that inspires reflection and self-awareness. It balances the energy, power, and intensity of red and the relaxation, stability, and authority of blue, creating the perfect monarch.

For those reasons, purple has always had a powerful and supernatural aura, which is why it often appears in religious constructions or celebrations.

It is an excellent color for meditation, too.

The color purple encourages self-knowledge, deepening our understanding of our innermost thoughts. It calls for spiritual growth and offers guidance in our personal pursuits, keeping the mind, body, and soul in harmony.

Purple, the seventh color of the rainbow, is the compassionate, intuitive soul, the introvert. As a unique and independent spirit, purple is insightful, uplifting, and undeniably beautiful, enticing with ease.

It assists in spiritual fulfillment and transformation of the soul. And although the color purple enhances our spiritual enlightenment and relates to daydreaming and escaping from reality, it also keeps us grounded.

It’s a color of unconditional self-love, compassion, and sensitivity.

Unsurprisingly, purple is often used in humanitarian, psychic, feminine, and religious industries.

Because purple is so rare in nature, a large number of people consider it an artificial color. In contrast, others find it sacred, intriguing, and superior.

Purple relates to the deep, distant places in outer space, evoking mystery. It is a color that is connected to the unknown, soothing, and conveying wisdom.

And because it can be a somewhat intimidating and mysterious color, purple embodies sensuality. It evokes femininity, especially in its paler and lighter tints. Lavender, for example, is the “grown-up” pink. It represents the graceful woman and is associated with beauty and femininity.

It is a compassionate color that advocates for peace. Still, it can be hypersensitive, especially when chaos is around, leaving one in an emotional state.

For those reasons, purple is one of the most polarizing colors of the spectrum. People either love it or hate it.

All things considered, purple calms the mind and nerves, uplifts spirits, enhances the sacred, creates feelings of spirituality and may even be associated with courage and bravery. If you’re feeling stressed out, having purple flowers around might soothe your mood.

It is a color that removes perceived spiritual obstacles, encourages imagination, and increases sensitivity.

However, overuse of purple can invoke irritability, impatience, arrogance, and even aggravate depression.

It is an intense and ambitious color that entices a sense of magic and devotion in our souls.

Purple acknowledges there is an immense unknown to be discovered, leaving room for imagination and unbiased thoughts.

After all, violet is located at the far end of the visible spectrum, lying at the edge of the imagination as well.

Purple is a secondary color that is complementary to yellow, according to the CMYK color model. On the other hand, it is complementary to green according to the RGB color model.”

Meanwhile, Koushirou’s associated colour (the one he is usually seen wearing) is “Orange”:

“Cheerful and optimistic, orange is energetic, spontaneous, and dynamic. It’s a color that resonates with young people, but that can also be arrogant and prideful. It stimulates us, mentally and physically. Still, it can be superficial, insincere, and exhibitionist. At the same time, orange is an attention-getter without being too aggressive, and it conveys transformation. As an open-minded and risk-taker color that changes with the seasons, orange is uplifting, offering emotional endurance and igniting motivation in dark times.”

To sum it all up:

At first glance, not all attributes of the colour purple seem to immediately connect well with Koushirou’s general characterization. But it is that exact spectrum that makes his character so interesting: On one hand, he is the literal personification of “wisdom seeking”, understanding and acknowledging that there is a lot he has yet to learn - and that is what he is striving for with unbroken devotion and a fascination with the supernatural, mysterious nature of the Digital and all the other worlds out there. He is also evoking the general impression of being more introverted and independant, but also has that sense of bravery and courage that moves things forward. His compassion - especially towards those that are dear to him, causing him to try and be as helpful as humanly possible - shall also not be overlooked.

On the other hand, it is rather ironic that “spirituality” seems to play such a significant role when it comes to his signature colour - as his early attempts of being more spiritual (and meditating) actually led to his soul to get corrupted, accompanied by all negative traits purple generally has to offer.

This may also mean that those are the obstacles he has to overcome; not only has he been trying to escape reality into an “artifical world”, focusing on literally everything but self-knowledge, but he is also easily getting irritated and emotional once he’s overwhelmed, unable to solve "mysteries” and thus is not able to “function”. He surely wants to overcome obstacles, but may need to find a true balance (and harmony) within himself first to achieve that - and for that, he also has to appreciate himself more, rely more on his intuition and even his own imagination. 

The association with “femininity” may also be something that doesn’t immediately come to mind (even though there are theories and headcanons out there that deserve their own analysis post). However, this angle becomes a lot more intersting when compared to “pink” being a lighter version of purple, as both him and Hikari share a special connection to the Digital World, sensing when things aren’t going as planned, etc. Him combining the best of both worlds when looking at both Sora and Yamato is also an interesting take - which is actually a shame, since we haven’t really seen these three interact as a friend group more regurlarly. Takeru and Mimi serving as his complementary colours on the other hand also makes sense, as they’re both becoming more outgoing forces to pull him out of his comfort zone. This also goes for his associated colour orange (which may also be seen as complementary colour), as not only does it signify Taichi being the “brawns to his brains”, but also his closeness to themes of bravery and courage. Because while he is more contemplative, he is definitely a hands-on go-getter that may endure one or another obstacle to reach his goal.

This is such a good Sora fit I don't even know how to explain how very much OG Sora this is, the pink tones of the overall sporty outfit perfectly capture all levels of her personality. To top it off she's sharing flower themed cream sandwiches with Piyomon AAAHHH the subtle reference okay merch team you can take a w. Not to mention Sora is perfectly matching with Taichi and the fruit in her sandwich is orange stoooopppp itttt!!!!!

TAICHI OMG who is dressing this boy because that's the most he's ever jocked as a 11 year old. The sweatshirt, cargo pants, matching wristband and the sense to put his goggles down, he is winning the sporty casual fashion show for sure. And of course him and Agumon are enjoying some chicken popcorn, love how they weren't even subtle with the packaging art we all know Japan's favourite fried chicken brand anyway 🤣

Yamato. YAMATO. Y A M A T O. You're 11 can you tone down the cool guy heartthrob behaviour for a minute because I am losing my mind THE DOGTAG CHAIN IM GONNA SCREEAAAMMM ACTUALLY I AM SCREAAAMING AAAAHHHHHHH. He looks so good, there is absolutely no wrong element in his entire outfit, everything is perfectly paired up, a fashionista is among us. The little thumbs up over the onigiri that Gabumon is offering him?? Is he telling Gabumon that he's okay with having one and Gabumon can have the rest because that's the sweet, protective, kind, caring baby he is at heart???🥹🥹🥹The blue and green gradient in the background tho?? Mimato math is mathing bestiesss 🤣

Takeru is just a lil guy, but such a perfect lil guy!!! I like how his outfit has the similar green shade as his anime outfit but they still chose to gave him a new beanie instead which doesn't really match the colour tone of the rest of the fit but it's Takeru so we know that he can pull any hat off and that's what he does!!! Him and Patamon sharing burgers, okay mood, but why is he looking so surprised? I need to know what happened, did he spill some sauce on his overalls? Was the burger too hot to bite? WHAT HAPPENED TAKERU????? 😢

Jou, I see you paired up the plaid pants with a nice long, muted, warm toned jacket BUT I SEE THAT PURPLE SHIRT POKING IN FROM INSIDE and excuse me sir but why that purple with the plaid 😭 I need to see a version where Jou isn't wearing the jacket so I can make an informed rating on this outfit but may I add that in the full merch pic he has paired this look with green and white sneakers...I cannot defend you I am sorry Jou, please try brown loafers next time 😭 But outfit aside, Jou eating a taiyaki with Gomamon is lowkey funny I just know that Gomamon cracked a Marching Fishes joke at least once.

Koushiro...I will not go into detail but I will say it's cute that you have a sweater with a little K on it, it's also very cute that there is a splash of orange in your outfit, who's attention are you vying for it isn't subtle at all bby boy and I am grateful you matched your shoes to your sweater even if the socks are definitely a choice and that blue with orange is also definitely another choice. Good to see your are making choices. I like that him and Tentomon are sharing dango, it's always nice to see Koushiro's fondness towards Japanese traditional snacks hinted at in some way.

MIMI. QUEEN. SLAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!! YOU NEVER EVER MISS MY SWEET BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL. The pastel tones matched with the grey stockings for contrast, that beret and the fuzzy hem boots, you just know she shops at Takashimaya and Isetan and anything below it will just not do 👏🏻 Plus Sora and Mimi are wearing the same tones, which probably means that they pre-planned the outfits together, cuties!!! Also Crepe is such a Mimi™️ choice of dessert but I always get teary eyes when I see Palmon mimic Mimi's gestures, there is just so much love and admiration between them for each other, pure childish wonder 💚 And the crepe even has a cutesy character face on it, which kinda looks like Monzaemon, though I can't be sure but if it is then another win for a subtle reference. Not to mention both Yamato and Mimi look like they've dressed in a more cool and elegant style than the rest like they might be on their way to a date THE MIMAT MATH IS MATHING YALLL!!!

Hikari looks super cute, I think there isn't much official art of her in casual clothing for OG stuff so it's nice to see her in a more cutesy fit suited to her age. The hairband matching the cardigan is such a nice touch!! I can't recall any other casual outfit for OG design Hikari except the War Game and Memorial Party dress, so I think this would be the first time we see Hikari with a hairband and it just looks adorable. Of course she is sharing an ice cream with Tailmon, it's kinda their brand now but like Takeru she's making a surprised expression, perhaps she wasn't expecting Tailmon to offer her a bite of her ice cream?

To conclude, this is probably the best OG artwork we've gotten since Idk maybe the Rainy Day stationery series. This will be sold in advance at the Kamio Store booth at Anime Japan 2024. No other details were mentioned, but the event booth sale feels like a pre-sale before the goods become available more widely at other outlets, hopefully, at some stores that international fans have access too as well.

The Digimon Adventure kids playing Stardew Valley!

I was chatting with @digitalworldbound some time ago, and we somehow brought up Jun being a fangirl for Elliott. After that, we came up with many headcanons about the Chosen Children being into Stardew Valley that I doodled some of them!! Below the read more are the headcanons we thought of!

This isn't exactly related to Stardew, but Chloe was brilliant and thought Jun would go for a wolf cut in college, which I think fits well!!

Jun loves Elliott and aspires to be him. Also, she has yellow and purple joycons along with knock off pastel joycons.

Hikari would adore Stardew Valley and the animals!! She loves all the girls but she is definitely a Leah stan.

She doesn’t like how lonely Abigail is :(

Taichi only started to play because Hikari adores the game so much. He isn’t far in but so far he likes Alex the most.

He loves mining and murdering slime

Yamato plays it on his downtime for the story and make his farm successful and make grandpa proud

He likes his chickens and gives them cute names :)

Yamato, seeing Sam: “he just like me fr 🥺”

He kinda comes off as a Caroline fan ngl

Jyou's a big fan of Harvey of course. He physically nods his head in agreement whenever Harvey gives advice to the player.

Yamato, Jyou, Ken, and Iori have their own, secret world together to do Simple and Calm things.

Koushiro is obsessed with demetrius and his experiments. He lowkey wishes he was marriageable.

Ken gives everyone gifts to make them happy because he’s a sweet guy (it also makes him poor).

Ken memorizes every characters birthday so he can get extra hearts

He dislikes the game not allowing him to give more than two gifts a week :(

Iori is just there to Farm ™️

Jun and Miyako's sisters have a world together and Miyako pops in every now and then

They fight over who’s the favorite of the bachelorettes because they’re silly

Miyako is there to fall in LOVE and has one save file for each bachelorette/bachelor

Although her favorites are Elliott, Alex, Haley and sometimes Emily (bi queen)

She’s also tried mods which allow her to marry other characters

Sora constantly accepts and finishes quests to help people in the game.

She befriended krobus in the sewers and is bffs with Linus

She also loves her horse very much horse girl Sora

Takeru owns all the hats and is obsessed with the hat store obviously.

He dresses up his kids with the hats so they all match.

Mimi loves the outfits !! Her and Sora have their own farm where they just decorate like the sims

They also name the animals after their friends

You bet they have a bunny named “hikari”

Unlike Miyako, Daisuke ignores most of the people and focuses on mining and making cash

Also the arcade games!!! He loves the cowboy minigame

Miyako and Takeru make fun of his farm because they think it’s pathetic (it’s actually decent but don’t tell Daisuke they think that)

Prompt - "You look cute in that sweater"

“It’s too cold for this”, you sneered.

It was winter, obviously. But it was the coldest day so far this winter and probably the coldest it will be this winter. You really thought that you wouldn’t have school but no, you had school.

You rubbed your hands up and down your upper arms. You were currently walking to school and you hated it. It’s times like this you wished you had a bike, at least riding it would heat you up a bit.

But you didn’t have one since you lived within walking distance of your school. You breathe out and look at your breath frozen in the air. You were wearing a long sleeve under a jacket and heavy pants.

You didn’t wear gloves, you regretted it. You took your hands and placed them into your jacket pocket. You just had to get to the school, then you would get to a heated classroom.

You were actually looking forward to P.E.

You hoped that it would heat up as the day went on, but you doubted it. You turned to your right and looked both ways. After doing that you looked ahead of you and saw Koushiro walking by.

“Hey Koushiro!” You called out as you ran across the street. Koushiro looked up and smiled when he saw you. “Hello Y/n”, he said as you stopped next to him.

You started walking next to Koushiro as you both made your way to the school. You glanced over at Koushiro, going to ask him a question when you noticed something.

Well, you noticed two things. One, Koushiro was only wearing a sweater. It looked fluffy but you would freeze if you only wore a sweater.

You wondered if Koushiro was blue under that sweater.

The second thing you noticed was how cute Koushiro looked in the sweater. It was a light purple, which looked good with his red hair and face.

His face was red from the cold, which made him cuter.

You felt your face heat up so you looked away from Koushiro. You noticed that you two were getting close to the school. You thought about something before deciding to do it. Once you and Koushiro got to the gate of the school you turned to him.

“You look cute in the sweater”, you told Koushiro before walking away.

Digiweek 2021 Day 7 - Home | Shades of red; a Taikoura fanfiction

Chapter 7/7. Purple shimmers & orange-red glow

A/N: It's the last day of @digiweek. Officially it's a 'Free day' but I went with the other given word 'Home'. It's a short epilogue chapter, but I'm full with ideas (outlining, dialogues, scenarios) covering up the time gaps between the chapters. So this won't be the end of Shades of Red!

Of course it's the 1st of August meaning it's Odaiba Memorial Day, so I did a little DigiweekxO.D.M. mash up. So through this way I want to wish all of you a happy August 1st! For the readers who sticked with me till the end: thank you! It's been a blast :3

Every first of August they reunited in the parc of Odaiba. Cooling down the Summer’s heat underneath the trees, the shadows making all of them focus on each other. It had always been nice to see everyone together. Especially after each and everyone of them grew older, right into adulthood.

Right now everyone was at a point in his, her or their life where they achieved something. Being it job-related or family-related, a huge achievement or a smaller one. They had both literally and figuratively grown bigger and older and things had changed, but being here all together on the first of August made them relive the past as if not that much had changed. It wasn’t like they were holding on to the past, not at all. It had just always been nice to see familiar faces, because those faces were the only thing that never changed.

To Taichi the biggest change were the feelings. His feelings. And his idea of home.

Taichi smiled to himself, feeling the pressure in his arms move a little. Worriedly his eyes shifted from overlooking the parc to the little bundle in his arms. The most recent change was only one month old. He could feel all different kinds of feelings immediately flow through him upon looking down.

In his arms rested a little girl. The tiny hands clenched into fists, pumping in the air. Her small legs gently kicked nothing in particular. The sounds coming out of her little mouth were not a surprise to Taichi anymore, but his worried look was still in place. He tilted his head, a caring smile appeared on his lips while rocking the little girl in his arms. The shush-sound he eventually made, not ever shifting his gaze away from the baby girl, made her open her eyes. His brown eyes met her brown eyes. Though it was a different shade of brown, but to Taichi beautiful all the same. He smiled, bringing the little girl up while lowering his own head, nuzzling his nose into her short, soft and fluffy baby hair.

Unlike his own brown hair, the little girl’s hair was more a darker red with a tendency towards a brown shade with a purple shimmer to it. He always described it as a soft and bright maroon color, the perfect mix between the little girl’s mommy and daddy. That thought alone made Taichi smile even wider.

“Daddy daddy! Look what I’ve found!” came a voice making him shift his eyes up from the little girl to the toddler in front of him. The energetic boy proudly pointed to his head where an orange-esque flower sparkled up his brownish colored spikey hair. “Auntie Kari stuck it in my hair. Do you like it daddy?”

The flower complimented his little boy’s hair. It was less spiky and a lighter brown than Taichi’s own hair. The sunshine made his son’s hair glow a natural orange-red, making it look more auburn like his mother’s hair.

“Handsome boy,” Taichi smiled. “You should show mommy the treasure you have found! She loves flowers.”

The boy nodded, giving his little sister in Taichi’s arm a small peck on the forehead before he ran to his mother to show her the flower as well. Taichi followed the little boy all the way to where his mommy stood.

And his second daddy.

Love filled Taichi’s whole being, seeing his life partners standing there arm in arm. Smiling, laughing, beaming. Sora’s head resting on Koushiro’s shoulder while talking and listening to Yamato, Mimi and Jyou. The way both Sora and Koushiro shifted their attention to the little boy who desperately wanted to show his parents the flower he had found, full of care and love to give, made Taichi’s heart flutter a little more. It confirmed his founded happiness.

Had Hikari never told him about the concept of polyamory, he would have never thought anything like that existed. So he felt grateful for her support. Actually for all of his friend’s supports. He felt on top of the world with Koushiro on one and Sora on his other side. He felt something indescribable beyond love seeing the two joyful and beautiful children the three of them were raising together. A bit unusual, but it completed him in every way. So Taichi didn’t care.

He felt happy with every shade of red in his life. But he only felt at home with their four reds especially.

Once again, Yamato found himself in a place he least expected to be in on a Saturday night. He stepped into the lobby in his black button up shirt and dark jeans and observed nothing out of the ordinary from the staff and other guests, though he was mentally prepared for whatever it was that would come next.

It came to him as no surprise when he turned toward Mimi when she called for him. Her outfit was simple, a light spaghetti strapped tank top and a mini skirt and she let her long, wavy tresses flow down. The only thing added was a pair of white embroidered gloves on her hands that were cut to reveal her fingers. When she twirled in excitement and gave him a big smile, Yamato couldn’t help but be reminded of a spritely fairy. If only Mimi had a headband and a pair of wings.

Except the wings in this case were attached behind the ears of the headphones. Mimi held two of them on her wrist, and a pair of black fingerless gloves in her other hand. 

Yamato blinked at her, reluctant. What in the world did she talk him into this time? How silly was he going to look in this get up?

The staff called to them, signaling that the event was about to begin. Mimi glared at Yamato now, holding out her hands towards him. In the pressure of the moment, Yamato grabbed his pairs of headphones and gloves and put them on, then followed quickly behind Mimi as they went through the doors and into the darkened room.

Lights of blue, purple, and pink surrounded the room, where Yamato observed a large group of people wearing butterfly headphones of different colors and the same gloves on their hands. A young, female voice that he recognized announced her introduction as the night’s main performer and disc jockey through his headphones, and when he looked up towards the large screens elevated above he saw the virtual figure wearing her sleeveless collared top and mini skirt, her long twin tails of teal hanging on either side. The cheers from the crowd surrounded him as the music began to play.

So Mimi brought him to a Hatsune Miku-themed event. Yamato looked around for a few moments as he listened to the upbeat music in his ears and everyone around him began to dance, their butterfly headphones bobbing and waving around to the music. He had never been to a “silent disco” before, and he was intrigued at seeing dancing as they heard the same song in their ears.

Then, Miku gave a shout out to the dancers listening to the other station, to which there were less cheers. Curious, Yamato felt around the ear of his headphone to find a switch. When it clicked, a song of a different beat filled his ears along with the soaring sounds of an electric guitar. He dug this station already. 

Mimi’s cheers were louder than the song in his headphones, and Yamato saw that she was dancing with Jou and Sora, whom he had expected to see, especially with Mimi’s talent to convince their circle of friends to go anywhere she asked. Yamato waved at the three of them and walked on, bobbing his head to the music. He also passed Koushiro who was sitting by himself, but Koushiro was paying no mind to anyone else as he listened to the music on his own. 

When the next rock song began to play, Yamato recognized it and began to sing along. He continued to pass people by, scouring through the faces of the people dancing as a couple or in groups, hoping to find the face he was hoping to see. Yamato was surprised that this face had yet to show himself, especially when his hair was so easily spotted even in the densest crowd.

The music transitioned into a different song, though Yamato continued to sing. But the crowd of people seemed to part in front of him, and that was when his eyes caught onto a gaze of chocolate brown, his lips singing along to the same song.

Yamato stopped in his tracks, his lips parted in surprise. Taichi had stopped singing along, his expression appearing to match Yamato’s. Little did he know, Yamato found himself and Taichi making their way towards each other, and the flashing lights and surrounding people seemed to fade from view. 

The butterfly earphones looked sillier on Taichi than Yamato thought they did on himself. Taichi even wore a disproportionately small top hat on the side of his head, which he admitted was not Mimi’s idea as Yamato had thought - Taichi thought it would fit the theme of the night.

Still, Taichi wore the black on blue shirt and jeans to complement. Taichi even wore a nice tie to go with it. The whole outfit worked too well. One of the things Yamato loved about Taichi was that he found a way to make himself look good even in offbeat situations, and Yamato found himself breathless. 

When they stood face to face, eyes still locked on one another, Taichi smiled, singing to the lyrics sounding in Yamato’s ears. Yamato felt a chill on the back of his neck. That was another one of the things he loved about Taichi; aside from some pop songs that Yamato would kick him out of the room the moment he sang them, Taichi had the same taste in music as Yamato did, and he found it endearing to learn that Taichi sang along to a lot of the songs he did.

The more Taichi’s lips moved as he sang, the more Yamato yearned to be closer to him.

Yamato grabbed Taichi by the wrist and began to move for his new search. He waded his way through the sea of people with Taichi following closely behind, his eyes scanning for an ideal spot. In an area where the dancing crowd loosened, he spotted a place to go, and there he headed.

Turning a corner a few feet from the dance floor, Yamato found a small space where the strobing lights didn’t hit, away from the wandering eyes of his friends and from anyone else. He wasn’t in the mood to dance, anyway. It was a space for only him and Taichi, who stayed close behind Yamato the whole time. When Yamato turned around to face Taichi again, there was little space between him and the wall behind him. Taichi reached toward Yamato’s headphones and clicked the switch, changing the station back to Hatsune’s music. It was the type of music that Taichi annoyed Yamato to death with, but Yamato felt like he could tolerate this song, its pop beats with the piano playing the background. What was the song called? “Magnet”? Yamato didn’t want to bother with asking Taichi, not when their gazes remained fixed on each other.

Taichi wore a smirk this time, looking as though he knew exactly what Yamato wanted. Yamato moved closer, the rhythm of the bass and drums bumping in his ears, the beat of his heart pounding in his chest. He met Taichi’s fingers at the tips with one hand, and held Taichi’s chin with his thumb and forefinger of the other, their noses nearly touching. 

Taichi had taught him not to frustrate himself with what drew them to each other. How they could clash in disagreements yet Yamato still wanted him around. How in one moment Yamato couldn’t stand him, but in the next he wanted to feel his touch. Yamato had learned to run with what he felt he wanted to do, and at that moment with the music swelling and feeling Taichi’s warm breath soft, Yamato closed his eyes and gently pressed his lips against Taichi.

Gawd, he loved those lips that kissed back. Those lips that kissed him so deliciously urging him to come back for more. Yamato kissed Taichi slowly, savoring the feeling of Taichi’s soft touch, his tongue brushing his own. 

When Yamato let himself pull away, he only drew back to Taichi’s lips. Then, when he broke off the kiss, Taichi gave them only a few seconds to catch their breaths before he leaned in once again. They succumbed to each other, their arms wrapped around one another and holding each other tight with their bodies pressed together, like two magnets that were never meant to be apart.
