me: idk man, kinda glad other countries don't do the established couple, flirty, shippy thing like thailand does. it can be neat and fun at times but sometimes it's weird and a bit questionable and it's restricting actors from doing other stuff. so, it's totally fine when other countries actors just do the one project and then go on their way to do something else, without being bound to each other in the next project to be a couple again. It is really not necessary for me...

This is frickin' adorable.

Below are some screenshots to put some context to this for Donbrothers fans who missed the First Love Hero movie, Higuchi Kouhei fans who haven't seen Donbrothers, or, you know, just for those of us who want to relive that scene knowing that Higuchi took his scene partner home.

The kitten scene happens within the story of an extremely hackneyed high school romance TV series that Haruka and Tarou are acting in (very badly). Tarou's hero character makes a bad impression on Haruka's heroine character at first but she changes her mind about him when she sees him rescuing an abandoned kitten in the rain.

If the material that made it into the movie is any indication, Momo must have been a bit ornery during filming. Apparently that didn't deter Higuchi at all. She sure looks content now.

Everybody look at Kohei Higuchi and his cat Momo who he adopted after shooting the first love hero movie. Crying
