since logia is almost 100% sure to be releasing next month i'm bringing a random logia fact since i just brought it up on twitter too cghbnjk so... i made a "this is fine" meme parody with logia in november 2022 after the msq update cause shit happens and i was like i wonder how logia is doing etc etc saying "be kind to him he's probably on his 15th espresso" or smth like that(we still didn't know about mama logia) and yeah and you comes out and the post does the rounds and i happened to have guessed the rest of his knee brace and black shoes and spooped a dude

nope! that hasn’t been stated anywhere in the manga.

merlin calls herself the ‘daughter of belialuin / beliaruin’ in chapter 191 - but we don’t know who or what belialuin is. 

in mythology, the name belial is used to refer to a demon; to be specific, it means ‘worthless’, and is used to refer to lucifer (who is a fallen archangel. aka... a goddess.) after his fall from grace. the ‘ruin’ part likely comes from... well, ruined. in fact, all hints implying merlin could have demonic ancestry are symbols of lucifer, who is most known for being a fallen goddess / archangel in particular... anyways.

sorry for going off topic- but yeah, merlin definitely wasn’t called a demon’s daughter. in fact, we know nothing about her heritage besides the fact that she’s the daughter of someone / something called ‘belialuin’ - the race of whom we have no idea of.

I’ve thought the same thing. Like Jiji is on the first poster because of course he is. With the way Hanamaru ended, and with the recent teasers and promos, it probably will just be the popular swords that get focus outside of the Shinsengumi swords (like the Date-gumi and the rare 4 tachi).
