「TR Casual Fashion Illustrations」translations, part 1

I couldn't find them around and I really wanted them, so I grabbed the book and translated all of these.

Grouping the season 2 characters in this post. See this post for the season 1 characters.

Inui Seishu

- Likes wide, plain jerseys in gaudy purples or pinks

- Black loose-fitting tanktop

- Loose sweatpants, absolutely must match his top

- Stiletto heels, he likes the type that was kinda popular among delinquents in the 90s

(Koko, Hakkai, Yuzuha, and Taiju below)

Kokonoi Hajime

- Likes mao collar jackets, basics, flower patterns

- Sarouel pants, the feeling of freedom is key

- A dress shirt and proper black necktie are standard items he always wears

- Sandals, likes Loubou**n and Gi***chy and such

Shiba Hakkai

- Varsity jacket, loves when it's got a ton of patches making it flashier

- Knit sweater with damaged parts, Taka-chan chose it for him

- Taka-chan told him that since his legs are long, three-quarter length pants suit him, so that's what he wears

- Short boots that he instantly fell for while shopping with Yuzuha in Harajuku

Shiba Yuzuha

- Loves looking stylish

- Since it's casual wear, she likes matching up any manicure type with it

- Has special products to care for her light hair, which she inherited from her mom (and Hakkai uses them, even though his hair is shaved short)

- While looking for a jacket that matched her blouse at a thrift store, she loved this at first sight

- Loves high boots, 'cause they make her legs look slender

- "Nee-chan has a great fashion sense, but horrible when it comes to accessories", says Hakkai

Shiba Taiju

- Takes a liking to a new leather or denim jacket and wears that all season

- Very tight shirt

- At any rate, he likes combining a full black set!

- Only likes silver accessories anyways!

- Slim-ish jeans

- Anyways, he likes pointed shoes!

Every day I think of Rufus in 3 Hopes, like what do you mean ever since you killed your brother you dream a lion is ripping out your throat? You're declaring war on House Fraldarius? "I'm so utterly tired. Tired of being afraid, tired of what I've become,,, all of it"

3 Hopes fumbled so hard by having this be such a short prologue. I SO BADLY needed more of Dimitri's messy succession. I need more of Rufus and whatever is going on in his psyche, the lion dream THE LION DREAM. Oh 3 Hopes fumbled,,,

No cuz let's talk about this -- the way I was DESPERATE to at least hear more about the history between Rufus, Dimitri and Lambert!! It's no surprise Rufus had always held a sort of resentment towards Lambert, his crested younger brother, but it definitely feels like as time passed -- Rufus began to regret what he's done, hence why he states he's "so tired" of being afraid and of what he has become. Part of me is pretty sure Cornelia/Cleobulus is responsible for manipulating the events of the Tragedy and definitely manipulated Rufus, using his resentment towards Lambert as a base and going on from there. But the choices Rufus made, whether manipulated or not, were still his own and it resulted in the deaths of many.

Rufus declaring war on House Fraldarius is no surprise really, given how that House is connected to the royal family and it's most loyal house -- if Rodrigue's devotion to Lambert is any indication to it -- so it's no surprise Rufus would want them out of the way.

What really boils my parsnips is that the game devs could of AT LEAST given us a flashback or several with Lambert and SHOW us even just a glimpse of how their relationship was!! If the resentment was returned from Lambert or not ( though there was an NPC in the prologue that stated that the brother's animosity towards each other was not a secret but my personal hc is that Lambert for a time, tried to reconcile with Rufus time and time again but ultimately gave up and let those bridges burn) but I wanted to SEE IT!! With how much Lambert is spoken about in AG, we could have at least been given some flashbacks where he speaks!! Or find a letter or something from him that tells his side of things!! But all we get are second hand ( and lets be real here, definitely biased ) accounts from those who knew him. Just AAAAAAAGH

It's no doubt that the lion in his dream represents Dimitri getting his revenge on him, "A lion's cub is still a lion--" he would tell Cornelia, and he even says when he's defeated "well what are you waiting for? avenge your father." ( I'm just giving a sum of it, I'm pretty sure the quote is different ) and of course, his last words being how dying by Dimitri's hand is a fitting end for him.

But I definitely agree with you about wanting to see more of Dimitri's messy ascension to the throne ! But alas, I suppose that's why fanfiction exists!
