Maybe its stupid to start making winterwear in february. But I am enjoying making this, it's going to be a cowl and I will make matching mittens and a hat. It's quite easy to double knit and I'm loving the colours and the softness of the yarn.

Another gift for Artair! This time in a little wicker basket. Inside would be another assortment of cookies and baked goods, although these were much bigger and featured more details of flowers made with extra dough or colored icing. Along with the treats was a scarf and a pair of mittens, both hand knitted with a layered scale-like pattern in a gradient of green to gold to pink. Along with the gifts came a note! "Merry Christmas! Enjoy the treats by yourself or with your loved ones. I hope the gloves and scarf keep you warm!" It was signed by Kairi in excellent penmanship, with a little daisy and smiley face drawn off to the side.
