I finished this gorgeous gray hat (the Forth Hat by @ysolda) last night after working on it for the last two days only to discover that it looks way better on my husband than me. So Mike gets a new hat and I cast on a second attempt for myself. And obviously by "finished" I mean I still need to weave in the ends and wash/block it 😂 . . . . . #tinyhappyknits #knittingaddict #forthhat #knittersgonnaknit #knittersofinstagram #knithat #handknit #makersgonnamake #slowknitting #mindfulknitting #selfcareknitting https://www.instagram.com/p/CodQxl5ubWC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Made these three hats for another friend-couple that just had a baby. Probably too big for a newborn, but better too big than too small

I tried to make a bear hat, a bunny hat, and a pom pom hat. Could be better 😅 but still cute enough I hope.

www.adkartsboutique.com A gorgeous knitted winter hat for kids with a matching pom pom. It is made from cake yarn of gold, green, purple and blue. The colors are like neon pastels which gives it a fun look. It fits an average-sized child's head from ages 8 to 12. This hat is original and not made from a pattern. The hat is hand or machine washable and line or machine dryable. It is colorful and will compliment many different coats and jackets. Recommended for temperatures 30 degrees and above. #hat #knithat #childrenshat #handknithat #hatwithpompom #multicoloredhat #pullonhat #winterhat #childrensgift #skihat https://www.instagram.com/p/CpVw9vUOQaC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

This picture was kindly taken by my mom when we were in Amsterdam in February. I just had a look at the footage I took there and it was so windy that you can't hear a word I was saying. 🌬🙃 So, I will try my best, do some voice over and let the magic of editing happen to hopefully get a video worth watching out to you soon. 🤞 I was wearing my #johanneHat and my #elationShawl all the time, because it was so cold - so, you will definitely see more of these designs in the video. 😉 #herbgardenknitwearTravels #herbgardenknitwear #knitter #knitting #knithat #knitbeanie #tricoter #stricken #breien #tejer #strikk #strikke #strik #garterstitch #garterstitchshawls #easygradient #gradientknit #gradientknitshawl #gradientshawl #gradient #tiles #colorfultiles #amsterdam #knit #knitweardesign https://www.instagram.com/p/CpSlB06IzDJ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Learning from Instagram Reels - Steph's Hat
Saw this pattern on a reel and figured it out myself! Kinda proud. The reel wasn’t in English when I initially saw it either. haha. I did ask r/knittinghelp just to ask what it’s called when you pull through a loop from the back like this and learned it’s called a dip stitch. Someone on reddit also found the actual pattern, but I don’t like paying for patterns. So GUESSING was the way…

Knitting Notes:
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft Color: Victorian Rose? I don’t know where the label is Weight: Medium 4
Pattern: This was all guesses based on this IG reel
Size 7 Needles Cast-on 80 Stitches 26 rows of rib - K1, P1 Row 1 after rib: Increase # of Stitches to 120 - K2, M1 Row 2: K row Design Repeat:      Rows 3-5: (P2, K1, P1, K1, P2, K8) x 8           K8 portion is where the dip stitch design happens      Row 6: Start the dip stitch design on the right half of the K8s      Row 7-9:  (P2, K1, P1, K1, P2, K8) x 8      Row 10: Start the dip stitch design on the left half of the K8s Repeat pattern 5x total The decreases, I’m not sure how I did ‘em. Haha. I think I just started decreasing around the K8 portions until the stitches were less enough to close the top of the hat and cover with a pom pom
