failure: What’s your OC’s greatest failure? Have they been able to move past it? Does anyone else know about it?

relevant to the prince and his eventual champion, their greatest combined failure is that the king will eventually die. whoops! before then I'm not quite sure since the champion isn't as fleshed out -- something about not being able to balance having his own lands and residing at the left hand of the prince etc etc, while the prince just has a veritable catalogue of things he should have done better. neither are good at facing their own failures and mostly make efforts to hide their shortcomings

hide: What does your OC hide? Why do they hide it?

the champion tries to hide himself from the prince, in the beginning. think mako and raleigh -- he's not going to just tell the prince everything about his life (because he's ashamed of it, because he's trying to do right by his father, because he didn't want to be chosen as champion) no matter how excitable the prince can be about their connection

hunt: Who or what is your OC hunted by? A person, a feeling, a past mistake? Is your OC able to let their guard down, or are they constantly alert?

the prince is hunted by his perceived inability to rule, his father's death, his mother's death, the future or his country and his people riding on the delicate balancing act that he does not feel ready for. he's constantly on alert, although certain people are doing their best to force their way in, whether they realize it or not (the champion does not)
