Kloe had been thinking. She'd been thinking a lot actually. About her life, her friends, and her past stuff. But mostly, she's been dwelling on her life in her past universe. Her universe. The one where she had grown up, become who she was. But something was different. She was different. Not only has she found out stuff about her relationships in that universe, how her parents that she thought were her parents were fake, just posers for a huge plan her REAL, parents had for her, But when she kept disappearing to be Spider-Fox (not that they knew), they gave up, letting her believe. She had cried such real and raw tears when those "parents" had died. She couldn't save them. She had also found out that her girlfriend, the one she had loved, adored and given so much of her life to- was also a fake. A poser by her real parents. She never loved her. But Kloe did. Kloe had loved her. And she had to watch her die to the hands of a villain. Because of her. Because she couldn't save her. Kloe sat in her office, the one in the White House, in between patrols, with her head in her hands. She didn't know what to do. She was trying to follow her own advice and be strong, like she'd told her boss to. But she couldn't. Not with this. She let a few soft tears fall onto her desk. Then she accidentally fell off her chair and her papers fell everywhere. She let out an exasperated sigh. "Damn it.." She said. My team and I are doing our best. There have been protesters outside of the White House as well, and fights have erupted. Please stay safe, and do not engage.

I am on the mutants side, but taking sides is irrelevant when there are lives on the line. My bias is not taken into account when tying people up. Any protesters will be urged to leave.

Details are still coming in, but we have been getting reports that there have been attacks on Anti-Mutant Protestors from Mutants! Sources say that there was a peaceful protest going on until something was thrown and a fight escalated. We are unsure who is exactly at fault, but what we do know is that the police were called and all suspects have been arrested.

We will have more details coming in as we know more.

Another Statement About the Mutant situation

Dear Anti Mutants.

I know what you think you are doing is right. In your eyes mutants are a threat, and they have to be stopped. But how many of you have actually been directly harmed by a mutant? The number is most likely slim to none. This is wrong. You are judging all mutants off of a couple mutant’s decisions. That's not fair. You are judging a massive group of people who didn’t choose to be how they are, who didn’t choose to be like this. They didn’t ask to have the gene that makes them a mutant, they didn’t ask to be outcasts from society. Sure, a couple mutants made some bad decisions. But their actions do not reflect the entire mutant community as a whole. If one human murdered someone, in this world, you wouldn’t just start hating humans altogether. And don’t try to protest this fact, because I know you wouldn’t just start protesting against human rights because one mentally unstable human murdered someone. 

Imagine if your rights were being voted to be stripped away. Imagine if there were people attacking you in real life and online just because of who you are, even though you have know control over who you are. Take a minute, and imagine the pain you would go through. Imagine if people were protesting and hurting innocent people just because they wanted you gone.

Huh. Imagine that. Because all of that is happening, and it's happening to the mutants. You don’t know shit about them because you’ve never asked. Maybe if you did your damn research instead of listening to the media, which only reports on the dramatic stories by the way, you would know more, and want to know more about them. Before coming to conclusions about an entire group of people, ask yourself. Is what I’m doing good? Is what I’m doing going to help people? Or help myself. You may think that stripping the world from mutants is gonna solve our problem, but it's not. Our problem is misinformation. Our problem is people spreading twisted rumours based on untrustworthy things they read online. Our problem is people being idiots, and the fact that people will believe anything they read. You are not the problem, mutants are not the problem. It’s when our beliefs conflict that's the problem. Maybe if a mutual understanding could be reached, people would do their damn research.  But people won't do research.

So I ask you.

James walks into his office to find a girl in a... kitsune themed white and orange Spider-suit, sitting in an armchair. Her hood with fox ears was down on her shoulders, and her mask was dangling in her hands. Her long dirty blonde hair was in a high ponytail and she seemed to be waiting for him. "It seems I'm popular today." He's got a cup of coffee in his hand, and there's another kid sitting in his chair at his desk. He's not sure where all these unchaperoned teenagers are coming from, but he seems to be a beacon for them.
