I wanted to use the opportunity to experiment with using colour whilst still maintaining the tone of the fic. Not sure if I quite hit the balance, but here we are. I specifically challenged myself to not give Danny a black or grey Jumper, in attempt to keep some of the og character in there whilst still conveying this more feral version.

This was fun to draw! I feel an art style synthesising through this one and im excited for what I might make in the future! :)

so there's this part in mammals (chap 11 of malaise) where alex is having a bad hallucination and yassen is the first person who humours him instead of trying to sedate and restrain him.

so i'd been rolling around that visual in my head for a few weeks, wanting to draw just a little baby sketch or something,

AND THEN the new things that bleed chapter (chap 4) had the newly pov enabled skip squad experience terrible hallucinations and i LOST MY MIND.

Machine/AI translating tools will not be used in any step of the translation process. You are not paying me to use Google Translate or any AI translation tool that you could easily use yourself. I refuse to compromise the integrity of my work with laziness.

In the case of small-scale or solo creative projects such as indie games or fanfiction, commissions will not proceed without proof of knowledge and consent from the original creator(s).

All listed prices are of Korean to English translation.

English to Korean translation prices will add to the total price a markup of +50% (x1.5).

Songs longer than 5 minutes and poetry that exceeds a single A4 page will require additional charges.

Proof of knowledge and consent from all parties involved is required for the translation of private conversations, except in the case of cyberbullying/harrassment. Public messages are fair game. I will never judge.

Essays, articles, academic/non-fiction writing

I may reject commissions if the translation of a provided work is beyond my professional/academic capabilities. (Translator is a former semiconductor engineering/physics double major, currently an English student; topics such as basic physics and English literature and linguistics are within my capabilities.)

I think you’ve mentioned ao3 before. Do you have any favourites you’d like to share?

Hmmm I’m happy to share some of my favorites, but they’re kind of all over the place in terms of fandom. If anyone wants recs for specific fandoms feel free to ask but I don’t consider myself an expert on any specific one.

Completed fics that I’ve bookmarked because I like rereading them

Whiskey Old Fashioned Sour by @bluejayblueskies (Malevolent, separate bodies modern au, Jarthur, Aro Arthur) I experienced shrimp emotions while reading this fic it’s so sweet but also the tension is SO high. I’m not going to include summaries here because you can just click the link and read the blurb but truly malevolent fic of all time.

Something’s Wrong with Danny Fenton by perfectly_inconspicuous (Danny Phantom, no one knows au, horror vibes) listen to me. You don’t need to be that into Danny Phantom to read this fic it’s just good. It’s also pretty short but there’s some small bonus content after you finish it which is fun.

Ok this last one is a little embarrassing but honestly it’s been a comfort fic for me since I was in high school lol

Yesterday Upon the Stair by PitViperofDoom (BNHA, Deku has a quirk, Aro relationships abound) listen. Listen. I haven’t really cared about bnha since I was 17/18 but a good fic is a good fic and I fucking love ghosts ok. Also good characterization.

Ongoing fics that I’m currently enjoying

Call it Even by abbysue, okayanna (Miraculous Ladybug, enemies AND lovers au-Adrinette dating Ladynoir trying to kill each other it’s fun) ok so I don’t typically go looking for ml fanfic but I’ve followed @/anna-scribbles for a while who started posting this fic with additional art and I’m completely hooked.

Things That Bleed by artistfingers, kkachis, perfectly_inconspicuous (Danny Phantom scp au, crossover with Alex Rider) listen I don’t know who this little British kid is but I am really enjoying this one. Love me some unsettling Danny.

Something Greater 2 by busket (botw/totk, Link/OC) ok so in sharing this one I’m actually recommending you go back and read Something Greater (the first one), it’s another comfort fic for me, it’s about a yiga clan member who very accidentally falls in love with Link and defects from the clan so he can learn to be his own person (if you know me you can see why this is exactly my thing). The sequel has been pretty fun so far too! Also there’s a bunch of art on Busket’s blog relating to the fic and the characters so that’s fun.

you can probably tell that the initial tone of my proto-TTB sketches was super lighthearted. then it quickly became. less lighthearted >:)

it's hard to believe i first tossed out the initial idea of TTB to Kei and Kkachi one year ago today! it's literally insane that it's been a full year. i've had so much fun creating TTB with them, and sharing it with yall, it's been beyond amazing and means the world to me 💚

Hello everyone! Happy TTB anniversary !!! This is not the anniversary of posting, but rather, the day that Fin pitched the idea that became this fic back in 2021. Insane that it’s already been that long. Granted we talked about it for almost 7-8 months before we started writing with the intention of posting. 

Secondly, thank you so much to every single reader, and everyone who has ever done art or a fan work. We appreciate you and are honored everyday that something we created has inspired other people to also make things (and to play in this sandbox with us. The more the merrier!). 

This fic is a labor of love, but more than that, it always has been, and always will be, a large-scale collaboration <3

Alex’s chest is hollow.

“Your parents work for the Foundation,” he says softly. “That’s why you’re on the run, isn’t it? Because they would turn you in?”

Danny pulls into himself even closer. “No—I—I don’t know,” Danny snaps. He has that same wild animal look in his eye that Alex saw on their first day together. “You don’t—It doesn’t matter now.”
