Star Wars: Rebels A.U. The Jedi and the Republic never fell, Anakin didn't fall and Palpatine is dead. After Obi-Wan and Luke bring back a prisoner from Malachor, the Council must decide what they must do with Maul’s captured Apprentice.

Chapter 1: Apprentice

Sabine quietly watched Master Kenobi return from a mission. She’d taken to hiding in the hanger to get away from the others, some thought the Council had made a mistake, as her skills with the force were practically non-existent.

It didn’t help that most of her peers were practical prodigies, especially the Skywalker twins. Personally, Sabine thought Master Allie chose her out of pity. She’d hoped that Caleb would choose her when he was knighted, but he’d just gone out on mission after mission.

“Did you hear?” Asked Dhara, making Sabine jump, “Sorry.”

“Hear what?”

“Master Kenobi and Luke fought Darth Maul, they managed to capture his apprentice.” Dhara pointed to a boy around their age being escorted off the ship in force-suppression cuffs, “I heard he took Luke’s hand off.”

“So, Luke retaliated with going for his eye?”

“Looks like it.”

A group of Temple Guards took the boy from the Clones.

“Wanna try and listen in on the Council meeting?” Asked Dhara, getting a smirk from Sabine.

“Does Tatooine have two suns?”

MAP

Mace frowned at the boy in the centre of the Council chamber. He took note of the wounds that had obviously been deliberately disrupted, almost as he had been trying to inflict as much pain to himself as possible.

“Where are you from?” Asked Master Ti, trying to coax answers from the boy, “Maul would’ve picked you up from somewhere.”

The boy sneered and said something is Togruta that Mace felt didn’t need repeating, Shaak Ti slumped back in her seat, a look of astonishment covering her face.

“That,” Said Plo Koon, after a moment, “was unnecessary.”

The boy just scowled at Plo. Anakin was outright glared at the boy.

“Your name,” Said Master Yoda, after a moment, “Tell us, will you?”

The boy scowled at the diminutive Jedi, “Discipulus.”

“I doubt that’s your birth name.” Objected Master Rancisis, frowning.

The boy glared at him, getting a sigh from Master Billaba.

“You’re features match the description of a young boy who was kidnapped from Lothal, Ezra Bridger.” The boy glared at Depa.

“That’s not my name!” Snarled the boy, Anakin frowned at the small quiver of fear from the boy.

“Maul kidnapped you after murdering your parents.” Said Obi-Wan, “No doubt after he sensed how strong you are with the force.”

“He’s not coming, kid.” Stated Anakin, “He could’ve intercepted the ship you were being transported in. He’s written you off.”

“You’re lying.”

“Search your feelings.”

The boy was silent, before summoning Anakin’s lightsaber, he ignited the blade and went to strike Anakin, before he froze. Anakin looked around, noting that none of the masters were holding him still with the force. Anakin stood up and slowly walked up to the boy, quietly holding out his hand. A moment later, Anakin’s lightsaber was deactivated and in Anakin’s palm.

“Master Koon, if you could guide Ezra to the Halls of Healing.” Said Master Windu, getting a nod from Plo.

“Come, young one.”

The remaining Council members silently watched Plo and Ezra leave.

“You think he can be trained.” Said Master Windu, looking at Yoda.

“Strike down, an unarmed enemy, he could not.” Said Yoda, looking around, “Not yet fallen, he is.”

“What about Padawan Skywalker’s hand?” Asked Coleman Kcaj, leaning forward.

“Maul was responsible for that, not the boy…Ezra.” Said Obi-Wan, leaning forwards, “He’s a bit rough around the edges, but he’s rather skilled in both the force and lightsaber combat.”

“But, he’s more likely to use the dark side.” Interjected Master Mundi, getting a nod from Mace.

“If he’s left untrained, we’d practically be inviting trouble.” Said Depa, “It’d be like leaving meat out to dry.”

“Perhaps we can arrange for a test of his skills and decide from there.” Suggested Anakin, “Have him spar with some learners around his age?”

“He managed to disarm Luke when they duelled on Malachor.” Objected Obi-Wan, leaning forwards, “Maul’s taught him several forms of combat, but he’s solely focuses on aggression, like Maul.”

“Learned nothing, Maul has, hmm?” Chuckled Yoda, before levelling a look on Obi-Wan, “Capture him, how did you?”

Obi-Wan sighed, “I managed to wear him down, and disarm him.”

“Where did he get a lightsaber?” Asked Windu, “We’ve kept track on every lightsaber from every Jedi that fell in the past seventeen years.”

“He was using one of Palpatine’s,” Answered Obi-Wan, “He also had Master Koth’s lightsaber. Evidently, he kept his after he left the order.”

Yoda frowned, “A training saber, he will have.”

“If we were to perform this test, it would be wise to prevent any further injuries.” Mused Master Mundi, glancing around the room.

Leia and her friends had all but jumped at the chance to duel Maul’s Apprentice, Luke had told them that the Apprentice hadn’t removed his hand. Dhara smirked and twirled her lightsaber in her hand, nudging Sabine.

“Maybe he’ll be easy.” Smirked Dhara, making Master Skoll’s padawan, Shin Hati, roll her eyes and scoff.

“Please, he disarmed Skywalker, and he’s one of the best in our class.” Stated Shin, as Master Koon guided the Apprentice into the sparring hall.

“Padawan Skywalker,” Said Plo, looking at Leia, “if you could take Ezra to pick out a saber.”

Leia nodded, before gesturing the Apprentice, Ezra, to follow her.

The two were examining the sabers, when Galen arrived.

“Is the Sith still here?” He asked, getting a nod from Shin.

“He’s over there.” Galen saw Ezra with Leia.

“Great.”

The murmuring was interrupted by a lightsaber igniting, Ezra stared at the yellow blade, entranced by it.

“You act like you’ve never seen a yellow lightsaber before.” Remarked Leia, getting a nod from Ezra.

“I thought there were only two colours.” Murmured Ezra, swaying the blade.

Leia felt a swell of pity well at the tone of Ezra’s voice. Ezra deactivated the lightsaber and moved to the centre of the room.

“Marek, you’re up.” Said Cin Drallig, gesturing for the boy to draw his lightsaber, “And remember to activate the training setting.”

Galen flushed, but drew his lightsaber. Ezra recognised the stance, his master had used it when training him, he’d found it was easier to avoid the blade rather than block it.

Ezra side stepped the swing, before activating his lightsaber and swung it as Galen’s back. Galen blocked and rolled behind Ezra, swinging his saber at Ezra’s legs. Jumping away, Ezra used the force to push Galen away from him.

Galen gasped when he hit the floor, then jumped to his feet and swung at Ezra with a yell. Ezra side stepped again and struck Galen’s back with his saber, making Galen fall to the floor with his back with a feeling of pins and needles dancing across his back.

Drallig frowned, He recognised some lightsaber forms, a mix of forms four through seven, Ezra looked like he was acting from muscle memory.

“Leonis, Wren.”

Sabine and Dhara slowly approached Ezra, the former staying behind the latter. Dhara swung her blue blade at Ezra, who blocked and then parried it. Ezra scowled, grabbing Dhara’s wrist and threw her to the side. Ezra then swung his weapon at Sabine, the force of his blow sent her weapon flying out of her hands. Ezra threw Sabine into the wall, blocking Dhara’s blade, he grabbed her wrist and threw her at Sabine.

Leia and Shin lunged at him in unison, he weaved between them, kicking Shin in the back and focused on Leia. The two stalked around each other, before swinging at each other. Leia blocked Ezra’s strikes, stonewalling him. Shin went to swing at him, Ezra ducked and countered. Quickly twisting Shin’s lightsaber out of her grip, he used the force to lift her into the air, before throwing her at Leia. She dodged the unconventional projectile and dashed towards Ezra, ducking under his blade and slipping behind him. She pressed her back against his and stayed behind him whenever he tried turn to face her.

“Stop that!” Growled Ezra, as Leia danced away from him and rapt his arm with her lightsaber.

Ezra grunted, taking the saber in his non-dominant hand and swung at Leia. Ezra’s started to wildly wave his saber, only for Leia and grab his arm and pull the lightsaber out of his hand. Leia held her blade at Ezra’s throat.

“Yield?” Asked Leia, coyly cocking her head.

Ezra breathed heavily, glancing around, Shin and Dhara were stumbling to her feet, the latter grabbing Sabine and pulling her up, Galen winced as he stretched his back.

“I yield.” Grumbled Ezra, glaring at the floor.

Drallig and Koon shared a look, Maul had obviously focused on lightsaber combat, with only basic force techniques to supplement them. They also sensed that Ezra was trying to force himself use the dark side.

“Ezra.” Said Plo, getting Ezra’s attention, “It’s time to return to the council.”

Ezra huffed, before following Master Plo.

“That was fun.” Smirked Leia, getting an eye roll from Shin.

“Only because you were flirting with him.” Snarked the Padawan, getting a swipe from Leia.

Caleb frowned as his master led him to the Council chambers, she’d asked him to meet with her, when he tried to get more information from her, but she’d been aggravatingly vague. They met up with Master Koon and a boy around the age of sixteen or seventeen, who looked unhealthily thin and had little sleep.

Depa nodded to Plo, before they entered the Council Chambers.

Caleb walked to the centre of the room, with the boy standing near the door.

“Knight Dume,” Greeted Master Windu, “I am sure that you, like everyone else, have heard of Master Kenobi and his Padawan encountering Darth Maul and an apprentice on Malachor.”

“I have, Master.”

“It’s been decided by the Council that he will finish his training in the Jedi Arts.” Continued Windu, “He showed restraint when facing Master Kenobi, Padawan Skywalker and the Clones that had gone with them to Malachor.”

Caleb felt a heavy weight in his stomach, “Okay, Masters, but why are you telling me?”

Depa sighed, “Caleb, it’s been agreed that you would be the best match for him.”

“No offence, Master, I haven’t even trained a Padawan before, surely there’s someone more qualified.”

“Dume,” Said Master Mundi, leaning forwards, “you were chosen because training the boy will also aid you in your trials as a Jedi Knight.”

Caleb clenched his jaw, “Alright, where can I find this boy?”

Master Plo gently ushered Ezra forwards, “This is Ezra, the boy we’ve been telling you about.”

Caleb looked down at the boy, judging from the looks of him, he couldn’t be older than fifteen or sixteen, he had two parallel scars on his left cheek and diagonal scar that went from his right cheekbone to just above his left eyebrow, it looked like someone tried to take his eyes out.

Caleb sighed through his nose and folded his arms, “Okay, I’m assuming he’ll be coming with me to Ryloth.”

“Master Skoll and his Padawan will be accompanying you,” Said Windu, “as to give Ezra an example of the relationship between a master and their Padawan.”

Caleb frowned, then nodded. Glancing at Ezra, “Does he have a lightsaber?”

“We’ve yet to take him to Ilum.” Responded Windu, glancing around, “Tano and Skywalker will be going to Lothal, in the hopes they can find Knight Shan’s lightsaber.”

Caleb nodded again, turning to Ezra, “You know why we’re going?”

Ezra shook his head.

“Senator Cham Syndulla’s been experiencing some violent protests.” Said Caleb, “We’re to go and bring him and his aides to Coruscant.”

Ezra hesitantly nodded, before Caleb turned on his heel and walked out. Ezra glanced at Plo Koon, who ushered him after Caleb. The boy hesitantly followed the Jedi Knight, leaving the Council chamber.

Plo looked around the rest of the Council, “Maul trained him in various lightsaber forms, but his use of the force is limited to pushes and basic levitation.”

Anakin glanced at Obi-Wan, “You said there were others.”

“A number of former Jedi,” Confirmed Obi-Wan, frowning, “I found one of the Temple Guards, Rakesh Thanos, as well as Thora Ratal and Falen Korr.”

“They vanished after the end of the Clone War.” Mused Plo, glancing around, “I assumed they were killed during the siege of the Temple.”

“Their bodies were never recovered,” Anakin pointed out, frowning, “Then again, neither was Ventress’.”

“We may need to check our list of the dead.” Suggested Mace, looking at Shaak Ti, “I am right in assuming Madam Jocasta still keeps those lists.”

“I’ll speak with Master Che,” Answered Shaak, “Master Jocasta’s stepping down from her position as head archivist, we’ve yet to select her replacement.”

Mace frowned, before glancing around the council, “I suppose we have a lot of work to do then.”

“I’ll make my way to the Archives,” Said Obi-Wan, getting to his feet, “I’ll make my way around Jocasta’s staff and bring back a short list.”

“I suppose I should use this time to visit the Halls of Healing.” Mused Shaak Ti, joining Obi-Wan on his feet, “I wouldn’t want to imply that Obi-Wan is the only one of us working.”

Mace nodded, “Skywalker, take Plo and Kit to the restricted section, maybe Palpatine’s effects can produce a list or something that can expand our knowledge on our…missing members.”

Anakin nodded, leaving the Council Chamber with Kit and Plo. Mace glanced around the Chamber, before getting to his feet, “I suppose we should return to our other duties.”

MAP

Maul threw the Grand Inquisitor against the wall, three other Inquisitors were scatter around tending to their injuries, while another six were lay dead.

“All you had to do,” Seethed Maul, “was keep Kenobi away from my Apprentice.”

“The boy-” Coughed The Grand Inquisitor, “was weak.”

Maul sneered, before grabbing the Inquisitor’s lightsaber, “And yet, he was still able to defeat you.”

“You, you have another.” Wheeze the Inquisitor, getting another sneer from Maul.

“Perhaps.” Said Maul, “But, remember, Inquisitor, Offee failed me, and you know what happened to her.”

Maul threw the Inquisitor to the floor and stalked away from him, leaving the four surviving Inquisitors to wallow in their failures.

Meet Georgie

April, 1940. Leonie Georgiana Becker, better known as Georgie, has lived in London most of her life because her parents work for the government. Now Georgie, her little sister Hannelore, and their Nan are being evacuated and are going to be living with a cousin in the US. 

Georgie wishes they could stay at Oma’s and Opa’s farm, like they used to do every summer, but the threat of war with Germany cancelled their plans last year and she doesn’t know when she’ll see them again. 

Georgie is a Gotz Little Sisters Lily doll who needed some serious TLC. She had a bad case of silver eye and one of the weights had fallen off, giving her a lazy eye. She also was balding in the front. 

She has the same body as the original Pleasant Company dolls, but her head is  bigger. I had to order an 11-12 wig because none of the wigs I had (size 10-11) would fit. In fact, one of the reasons I dressed her in Kit’s outfit was because the knit cloche was the only I could get on her noggin.

I’ll have to make her some clothes because there is no way she will fit in the newer AG stuff. She’s wearing the old version and it barely fits. I had to squish her body a bit to secure the hook and eye on the skirt. 

I hope to be able to take some more pictures with her new clothes and add to her story.

I love her softer vinyl and huggable body. She definitely feels more like a companion than the newer AG dolls.

Rarepair prompt: bandaging the other’s hand and not quite letting go for Marianne/Leonie or Leonie/Bernadetta

I love me some Leomari but I haven’t written Leonie/Bernadetta before so! Here goes!

Bernadetta doesn't give herself time to think too hard about what she's doing. She grabs the first aid box from her room and walks with a purpose down to the next level of dorms. Stopping before a certain door, Bernadetta takes in a deep breath, and knocks. The door opens to reveal a justifiably confused Leonie. "Hey," Leonie greets, turning her slack jaw into a welcoming smile that Bernadetta sees right through. "This is a surprise. Need something, Bernadetta?" Bernadetta holds out the kit. "I want to fix your hand," she blurts out. Leonie crosses her arms, hiding both hands from view. "What hand? I'm fine." "I-I saw you, Leonie. I can help you. Or, I can fix more of your clothes, if you want. I just don't think you should be alone right now." Bernadetta steps forward, ready to bolt into the room if Leonie tries to shut the door. Leonie stares for a moment before shaking her head, her smile growing dull. "Let's... start with my hand. It does kinda hurt."

She moves aside to let Bernadetta pass. Bernadetta has been in Leonie’s room a few times before, so she sits on the bed in what she has started to think of as her spot. Leonie sits beside her and holds out her right hand. It looks worse up close, Bernadetta decides with a wince. Blood oozes out of several knuckles, some of it resting in the crackles in Leonie's fingers, and there's even a few shallow splinters. Noticing her discomfort, Leonie lets out a nervous chuckle. "It's not as bad as it looks?" She tries. Bernadetta only nods and sets about unraveling the bandages she had brought. They sit in silence as Bernadetta cleans and wraps Leonie's hand. Bernadetta keeps her attention on her work until she hears a sniff, looking up to find Leonie with silent tears on her face. "Sorry." Leonie rubs at the tear tracks with her free hand. 

Still holding Leonie’s injured hand, Bernadetta summons her remaining courage. “Why did you do that?” She asks. It takes effort to not let her nerves take over and squeeze Leonie’s hand.

Leonie lets out a dry chuckle. “Why did I punch the support beam, you mean?”

“Y-Yeah.”

“Because I can’t run after Captain Jeralt’s murderers. I can’t go kill Monica, or whoever that was.” Leonie wipes away more tears. “I can’t focus on school work and I can’t sleep so. I punch stuff.” A wet smile appears that makes Bernadetta want to cry too. 

“I’m sorry.” It’s the only reply Bernadetta can think of. 

Leonie snorts, eyes falling to the side. “Don’t be. It was a stupid thing to do. It didn’t even make me feel better.”

Bernadetta rubs her thumbs over Leonie’s bandaged knuckles. She doesn’t think killing Monica would make Leonie feel better either. Nothing short of Jeralt miraculously coming back would make Leonie feel better, Bernadetta suspects. 

“How did you meet him? Jeralt.” Bernadetta clarifies unnecessarily.

“He came to my village to scare off some poachers.” Leonie’s lip quirks up. “You should’ve seen him. He rode them down like they were nothing, fierce and strong-- and then when he spoke to us villagers, he was so kind.” More tears follow that but Leonie goes on. “That’s the kind of mercenary I want to be. He was a nightmare to those guys, but kind and reassuring to us.”

Bernadetta tries to smile herself. “I-I think you can do it! I used to think you were really scary, but now I know you’re really nice. I think you can be just like Jeralt!”

Leonie purses her lips. Swallows. “Thanks,” she says, voice cracking. A sob escapes her.

This isn’t what Bernadetta had planned at all. She feels partially responsible and altogether flustered as Leonie covers her face with her free hand and her shoulders begin shaking. 

Letting go of Leonie’s hand, Bernadetta shifts forward to hold her in an awkward side hug instead. She’s about to apologize again but Leonie holds her back, pressing her face into Bernadetta’s shoulder and letting out another sob. 

For long moments, Leonie cries and Bernadetta lets her. Even after her knees cramp from her position on the bed, even after her jacket sleeve turns into a mess of tears and snot, Bernadetta stays.

Leonie calms sometime after the dinner bell rings out. She sniffs, sighs, and leans away from Bernadetta. “You think I’m really nice?” She asks in a hoarse voice. 

“Now I do, yeah.”

This smile is small, but it makes Leonie’s tear-stained, exhausted face light up. “I’m glad. Thank you, Bernadetta.”

Smiling herself, Bernadetta packs up the first aid kit, and sits back as Leonie recounts in detail how she became Captain Jeralt’s best and first apprentice.

Ulric coughed, clearly caught off guard. “Sorry, Marshal, sir.” “For?” Cor drawled, glancing over the soldier’s disheveled appearance. Dark hair matted down, almost black in the bleak overhead lighting of the hall, and slightly disheveled kit gear clinging to his torso in places. The smell of the Citadel standard soap was unmistakable to Cor, having spent a lifetime now drenched in the stuff to the point where his skin had adapted to its harsh efficiency. The patch of dry skin Ulric was currently scratching at the base of his neck told Cor that he wasn’t quite that enured to it yet. “Uh?” Cor sniffed, deciding to bypass the pleasantries. “What was that about?” “Oh,” Ulric had the good sense to try and look casual, albeit poorly, “uh, that was nothing. Just… personal things. Sir.” He didn’t meet Cor’s eyes.

‘They could have just fled,’ she told herself as she pivoted around a display case on soft soles. ‘Hell, they could have run out the back and—’ Nope. That was a dead body. Heavy form slack against the wall display, limp and amorphous against the grey tile. Blood on the floor. Blood on the wall, almost entirely eaten by the black pegboard and equally black t-shirts. You’re looking for a key. You’re looking for a key.’ She let her eyes sweep over the thin red, brown on the edges and dark towards the center. Smeared where the body had slid forward over time, but otherwise undisturbed. The right hand was empty, pale fingers curled inward and silver rings reflecting red and black from both the blood and the uniform. The left hand was half hidden by the torso, forcing Rosea to step in the blood like easing her way across broken glass. She was half-way behind the counter when she saw it, sharp black against the bloody tile. A fucking gun. ‘Fuck. Okay. Suicide or a stand-off? Does it matter?’ It didn’t, she decided, as she grabbed the gun. Steady hands did routine checks as she confirmed the left hand empty and moved her eyes to pockets. The body was in skinny-jeans, the pockets almost assuredly faux. No obvious outline to show anything was in them, so no need for a manual check. A quick sweep up confirmed no lanyard and nowhere to hide keys on the ripped band tee. She glimpsed just the barest edge of a slackened jaw before she turned away, sweeping her eyes along the shelves beneath the counter and ignoring the squelch of her sneakers as she pivoted in the blood. There. She shifted the gun into her left hand and grabbed the bright orange ‘STAFF’ lanyard with her right. She didn’t acknowledge that her fingers were now bloody except to tighten her grip on the gun to prevent it from slipping from her grasp. Each step squeaked silently under the pulsing bass as she slipped back towards Prompto. A quick glance towards the entrance showed that the crowd had thinned considerably, which made her throat feel tight. Still, she crept quick and careful back to Prompto.

Eating was a mistake. Noct was staring up at the tent, the soft light of the moon filtering in through the canvas, as his stomach rumbled. The sound was mostly drowned by Prompto’s snoring, but Noct couldn’t ignore the stabbing pains that accompanied it. He was dying. He had to be. Because if he wasn’t dying, he was pregnant, and that? Yeah, Noct didn’t want to think about that. But it was night, and Ignis was gently sleeping beside him, so Noct’s brain was running wild. What would Luna think? Would Luna even believe him? Noctis didn’t want to believe it himself—still refused to, it was so stupid—but what if? Would she be mad at him? Could she be mad at him? For accidentally getting knocked up by an Astral through… what? Osmosis?  And what would he even do? He couldn’t have a baby, not when he was out fighting daemons and MTs and a whole fuck ton of other bullshit. He vaguely remembered that female Glaives went on leave from the field the second they knew they were pregnant. Something about warping was extremely incompatible with growing a life. He couldn’t be pregnant, he needed to be able to warp! …Would the Astrals be mad if he miscarried? How would that even work?  Before he could delve much further into that particularly dark alleyway of thought, Noctis felt his stomach roll again. It seemed worse, this time. Urgent. That was all the warning he got. The sound was like a gunshot, followed by a sad trombone. Gladio jolted upright immediately, Ignis not far behind him, though the smell beat them both into the air. “Fuck, man!” Gladio yelled, swiftly unzipping the tent as he fled the noxious gas. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” Ignis followed Gladio out, wordlessly covering his own nose in his retreat. Prompto, who had been dead to the world before Gladio shouted, was the last out. And Noct? Noct was just laying there. He laughed, breathless and bathed in a cloud of his own stench, half-delirious and half-relieved. Gods, he felt so much better. “Dude,” Prompto coughed, doubled over where he fell just outside the tent, “what the fuck did you eat?”

Crossovers

Florence Pennyworth, I’m thinking that it would be interesting to see her with Leanna ‘Leah’ Elfman. I don’t have much for her, but I think it would take a little while for the two of them to get along. Leah might sometimes worry Dick is replacing their friendship when he moves into Wayne Manor - not that he’d do it on purpose, but part of her would wonder about it. That being said, I think when Leah can get passed that - they probably have a conversation which makes her realise she was overreacting a little - they’d be OK. Maybe not the closest, but Leah would know something was up when Florence goes missing. She’s out of Gotham by then, but they’d probably text or send silly things to each other, and it’s not like Florence to miss that; so, when she does, Leah does what she can to try helping her friend.

Leonie Murphy and Mackenzie ‘Kenzie’ Merritt would be a reporting team not to be trifled with. Honestly, these two would go at every story they could, determined to quell their insatiable curiosity. Initially, both of them would try to keep things from the other - after all, Vic being Cyborg is a secret Kenzie is determined to keep for him - but eventually they’d be a team to rival even Lois Lane. Also, can we talk about them helping each other with things? Training montage and suit making for Leonie, and her being there for Kenzie when Jason dies and Vic can’t be around?

Tessie Vannelli, the Coles and Tae all grew up in Haly’s Circus with Dick. Viola spent a lot of time with the Vannelli’s after she and Kit arrived - and their lives were turned upside down with the death of their parents getting there - for the pure fact she’s a fire breather; though, she starts as a juggler and progresses there. Tae loves making costumes for her - she’s one of his favourites - and they’re pretty close because of it. All three of them are devastated when her life is turned upside down, and though they’re willing to be there for her, when she goes missing they’re desperate to find her. When it becomes clear it might be more than they can handle, the boys have to get Viola to stop. Even when Haly’s disbands, Viola refuses to give up; and when she hears rumours about Joker? She’s terrified, especially for her friend. So, when Dick returns with their old friend, and the truth of the rumours is revealed? Cue heartbreak but also the three of them trying to help her; Kit is the one who finds it all the hardest, just because that’s the sort of person he is, and Tae is honestly a little afraid of her. Overall though, Circus kids stick together, and they’ll do what they can to make things easier for their childhood friend. Also, I have a feeling Tessie would be shipping Kit and Tae alongside Viola.

Brandy Hayes with Elodie Klecko (a multiverse OC of mine); they’re both part of the Statesmen. I feel the two of them would be pretty good friends, and they’d try to look out for each other whenever possible - be it on missions or just in general life. I can imagine the mayhem they’d cause together, but also banding together when things are happening within the Statesmen.

Callie Raeken with Camila and Ryan McCall (Scott’s cousins). They wouldn’t really have known her before, and I can see Camila taring her with the same scepticism she shows everyone; Ryan would be far more sympathetic towards her, and constantly be trying to make sure she was OK; he’d do the same for Theo as well, but I have a feeling Callie might need that support a little more than her brother. I could totally see him having a crush on her at some point - if it’s reciprocated or not, I don’t know - but he’d always be telling her random facts to try helping. Eventually, Camila would probably realise that Callie wasn’t so bad, it would take a while for them to get there, but when they do she’s one of the most loyal friends a person can have.

Elvira Levitsky and Irisa Kuznetsov. Both of them are Healers - though Elvira’s Tailor skills as well would be something Ris would love to learn more about. Depending on how Elvira left the Little Palace would shift their relationship I think. Irisa left the Little Palace because she hated it there; she ran away, and if they were there together that might make things rocky for the two of them; on the other hand, it might also actually make them closer. Irisa needs someone who can help her figure out what she wants, because this is really the first time she’s done something for herself. The Crows would be a massive help, but if she had someone who understood her a little? That would help her immensely.

Hope Wood would adopt Phoenix Dumbledore on sight. I can totally see Hope sticking up for the girl, especially if she’s sorted into Hufflepuff because Hope misses Cedric. She’d totally be up for taking Phoenix under her wing if she needed the help, and would prank anyone who even tried getting on her nerves (think the twins protecting Harry during second year, and you’ve got how I could see it going). That being said - and I haven’t actually posted anything about them because they became a side characters in Hope’s story - but I have a couple of Beauxbatons OCs. I can’t remember names - they’re in a folder somewhere for old fanfiction planning - but one was a prankster girl who was constantly in trouble, and her best friend who was always trying to get her out of it. I can see him having a soft spot for Phoenix - at least one parent is a teacher - but his friend doesn’t really get along with her due to the connection with Fleur. However, both of them are willing to try helping the girl smile when she needs it, and I feel like at least one of them would occasionally ask Fleur about her when they go back to school.

If I’m sticking with the Nico universe, seeing Teagan O’Neal with A.J. and Teddy Kane would be a lot of fun, I think. I can see A.J. being protective of Nico with everything; especially because of how Teagan and Dick appear to be sometimes as well. I think Teddy would be a little intimidated by her, but would totally be up for helping her integrating a little more with the Titans. I have a whole heap of DC OCs that could also be interesting to explore, but I need to develop them a little more. But I love the idea Teagan and A.J. not exactly seeing eye-to-eye, but if Nico was ever in danger you can bet everything that they’d work together to protect him. No matter what.

Booker’s sibling. I have a really rough idea for another friend of the group, possibly a cheerleader but who doesn’t take things too seriously. They’d probably have issues with Terri in a way, but when things start getting real I can see them helping each other out, and finding a friendship there that they never saw coming (one day I’ll introduce these guys properly, but I hope this is okay for a rough idea at the moment).

There's some other stuff involved with it and it's pretty tricky right now they're taking things we don't want them to and stuff we might have to wait until this foray is over and we don't think it'll end pretty in BG doesn't think so and Alicia the others have confidence so we might hold off a meeting with them what they would demand in there would just be dealerships really and these bikes would be nice it's it's a decent idea it might even come up with a sport bike that's smaller they don't really have them is not true some companies made some in their lower and our sun sign said no way and the rim end is way up there but he could sit on it and it was lower than all the other bikes there's a sport bikes so we might do that too later on and these guys will go for it and two three hundreds would be very light still and it would work and those companies didn't make a twin we could but it's kind of a hassle two of those motors you need a different transmission and we'd have to make that so you might as well make a twin and it's true but you don't want to do that yet and you might we might do it 350 with a top end that's an idea too just change the top endo go to a 350 that would be the sport bike. And to make it look like A kind of like A you have a version of bike that looks like a sport bike and kind of a cruiser and it's because that's the look we agree with that too so we have like this line of bikes and we can make like 1DIRT bike and maybe a small bike too. But right now there's two and they work very nicely. And we could have a top end kit and make a 350 and we could make smaller motors and ATK had like a 49CC and it gave out about eight horsepower on the smaller bike that looks like a rebel it go about 60 miles an hour with 100 50 pound person he changed the sprockets it's a little faster but it would start out slower and the chopper would go about 55 miles per hour which is plenty for some people and it would sound funny look funny and go slow we like this idea we like having the 110CC it's also a scooter motor but you go about 75 and about 65 on the chopper and that's fast people like the idea we want to start building these he says we have parts that look like the Pagliani and we have frames and we can make the same frame and the frame is a decent frame it comes from China no but it's pretty much the Leonie frame pagliani is from the Paxton paxture factory from 2010 and they stopped making them they're still frames and we changed the seals and bearings and we checked for rust and corrosion and we do a quick scan but they haven't been touched and we have about two million of them one million each and we can replicate the frame we use a regular method but we have welders that work real fast and we can use a robotics after a time you put in the jig and the robot welds it up and it's done in minutes and he says let's hire some people and he wants children of his and they want to hire others and he said perfect and what age and they're saying 10 years old is that management they said yeah so we're going to call our psycorp And the max would and yes think it intersting and good fr them Thor Freya Olympus

"Yeah.. Im almost there.." Karyme says as she speaks into the phone.

"..."

"Just leave the door open.."

"..."

"For the love of Selyna, no ones going to break in, Leony.."

"..."

"Fine.. I'll hurry.."

"..."

"Yeah yeah, see you in a bit."

Karyme hangs up the phone, sighing. She runs her band through her hair as she walks to the dormitories.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she spots a figure that quickly disappears.

Karyme pulls her jacket tighter around herself and speeds up.

She keeps her gaze straight ahead, her hand slipping into her pocket.

She looks around, but sees no one. Normally, she would calm down, but with all the weird disappearances around camps, she isn't willing to take any chances.

Karyme keeps walking, really hoping that Leony left the door unlocked like she had asked..

A sudden grasp on her shoulder makes Karyme jump and spin around to face the figure she had seen stalking her in the shadows.

She pulls out her pocket knife and flicks it open, and barely manages to move out of the way as they swing at her with a weird-looking dagger..

The figure is dressed in all black, and in wearing a cloak that has some sort of symbol on it..

A triangle.?

Or an oval.?

...

No..

A diamond.

Karyme backs away from the figure, hand gripping the pocket knife tightly.

The figure slowly takes a step forward, and starts to whisper.

"..shes watching.." It whispers.

Karyme backs up some more..

"..she senses a disturbance.."

Karyme hits a wall, unable to back up anymore..

"..you are disturbance.. you are sin.." It mumbles.

It suddenly lunges at her, pinking her to the wall. Karyme groans and struggles against the person.

Karyme sucks in a sharp breath, and angles her leg to deliver a hard blow right into the figures ribs.

The figure releases her, and Karyme delivers another kick to its stomach, and without a second thought books it towards the dormitories, her adrenaline high..

Karyme pushes the door to her room open, gasping for air from the running.

She is quick to shut the door, finally feeling the adrenaline giving way.

She stumbles a bit to the couch, where she promptly collapses, sighing in relief.

Leony, Karyme's roommate and childhood friend, comes walking in from the kitchen.

"What took you so long?" She asks, a hand on her hip.

Karyme sighs. "..nothing.."

Leony frowns. "If you were with Kaiden just say so, Selyna knows we've all been there.."

Karyme groans. "I was not fucking around, if that's what you're implying."

Leony shrugs. "We're 16, Karyme."

Karyme rolls her eyes. "I'm painfully aware.."

Leony crosses her arms, sighing.

Karyme sits up, suddenly noticing a shooting pain in her stomach. She looks down and immediately feels her heart stop..

"Hey Leony.." Karyme mumbles.

Leony raises an eyebrow. "Hm?"

"What if, hypothetically.. someone had been stabbed in their stomach.." Karyme says slowly. "How bad would that be.?"

Leony groans. "You and your stupid questions.." She sighs. "But just to give you piece of mind.. it would be pretty bad."

Karyme hums. "Okay.. so then I'm fucked.."

Karyme motions to her hand which had been resting on the side of her stomach, which is now covered in blood.

Leony's eyes widen. "Karyme-"

"-it's a long story.." Karyme mumbles. "Just get the first aid kit, I'll live."

Leony groans in frustration. "Okay, no. Stab wounds mean hospital, not DIY."

Karyme narrows her eyes. "I know you mean well.. but I'm bleeding out, and I'd rather not do it on this couch." She explains. "We're temporary guests, and I'm not paying to wash the blood stains out of the couch."

Leony frowns, clearly upset. "You could die."

Karyme sighs. "..not such a bad idea, actually.."

"Karyme!"

"Sorry.. force of habit."

Leony groans into her hands. "Fine.. but don't blame me if you get an infection.."

Karyme hums. "Wouldn't dream of it."

"And.." Karyme mumbles to herself as she wraps up her torso. "Done. See, not so bad." She tells Leony.

"Still think the hospital would've been a better option.." Leony mumbles in response.

Karyme sighs, fixing her shirt. "Dont stress, I'll live through the night."

Leony smirks a bit, although it disappears instantly.

"..I'm holding you to that then, Karyme." She says a bit more light-heartedly.

Karyme nods, leaning on her doorframe. "And if I dont make it.?"

Leony shakes her head. "Then I'll see you in the afterlife and beat you up."

Karyme stops, sighing.

"..Toche.."

Kit as commissioned by: @ shadowflame-117 A little more expensive since I had no refs for this character but this was still quite fun and YAY FOR A PERSON WHO IS OK ABOUT THE TIME IT TAKES FOR ME TO MAKE A CHARACTER FROM SCRATCH. It's about time I got one of these that didn't end in my doing work and not getting paid for it. D: I tried to do Tetsuta Nomura style eyes (since he was in charge of FFXV) but they just ended up looking like Kingdom Hearts eyes. lol. Oh well, I tried. For some reason my mojo wasn't working super well for the coloring but it got done. I just hope I can start evolving from my normal coloring mode. I haven't really found one that fits my line art style too well yet but I'll keep searching.
