imogen saying “i can’t read your mind so i don’t know if it’s okay anymore” when asking if she can kiss laudna kinda implies that she does tend to scan laudna’s surface thoughts for even the tiniest hint of reciprocation which explains why imogen bails out of so many moments where it feels like she’s on the precipice. also that immediately pulls me back to the dusk/yu thing where laudna says “idk how to respond to dusk asking me out i haven’t accessed that part of my brain in decades” and imogen looks like a puppy someone left out in the pouring rain and responds like “yeah…….. it’d be pretty weird…………….. to access that………………………” which is such an underrated moment bc i feel like it would’ve been a gut punch for her to hear that when she’s actively yearning like she’s trying to win the sapphic olympics. and then, you know, imogen loses her twice in a number of weeks so yeah, fuck it, gonna kiss her while grocery shopping!
