aaaaaa i saw @starmagnets’s kirby isat designs and fell absolutely head over heels for this design!!! i had to draw them. i don’t know if i did them justice but i hope you enjoy nonetheless!!!!

Your child is melting lmao

Gooey is pretty much kind of a shapeshifter and solidity of his from heavily depends on his mental state. Any extreme emotion can make him loose his grip on the body, so he kinda starts melting over. Most common nominators for that are negative emotions: fear, grief, shock. Being especially specific - something BAD happening to Kirby (pic 1)

Tho it also can be excitement or exhaustion. The extent of the body melting is fully up to intensity of the emotion

....And in a very rare cases, it can be anger

All Dark Matter are shapeshiters outside of the hosts. They're capable of changing their form since it's not solid from the beginning, but it can't happen purely by the power of will. Dark Matter's appearance very heavily depends on it's way of preciving itself.

Due to their nature being part of the hive mind, DM unit doesn't have an individuality in normal conditions - thus rarely any different traits. They might have some, but those mostly caused by environment and adaption to it.

When unit is separated from the hive, they start to accumulate more and more individualistic traits, gaining sense of self. It's a mix of "what I want to be" and "what I see in the mirror". If that makes any sense. More humanoid form, number of limbs and much more trivial traits like height are born exactly from that mix.

Gooey, growing up in Dreamland for most of his life, just tried to copy Kirby at everything, therefore perceiving himself as a child, growing along with Kirby. It isn't far from truth, cuz even as a DM unit they were pretty young. Haven't even figured out how to morph fingers yet (opposite thumbs are pretty usefull evolutional trait)

Ok so this is like, lots of time in the making! Anyone remember the Sexiest Kirby Character Tournament? PFFFF And Meta Knight won?! LMAO I made a reaction doodle of my Meta responding to the outcome at the time (Maybe might redraw it)!

As you can see, he took it well! Lol And I teased a Ginjinka of DDD! But I never made him because I’m a Meta Simp.

So this was all of him I had made at the time. But now that changes today! ^^

Some notes of characterization: I grew up with Anime DDD, so he��s got that Southern Accent. He’s silly, loud, proud, and gluttonous, but he cares for his people and wants to prove he is a Great King! So I also mix in what is canon about him in the games!

I feel like DDD has that charm of easily getting people to open up and express themselves. Like, being really honest. He can be just as blunt and even point out some things others may not notice or want to notice. I feel like DDD is smart, not a genius, but he’s able to pilot Mechs and wield crazy contraptions! DDD is definitely naturally funny, so much so he even got Martin to laugh at one point!

When it comes to the King and his Knight, they are very professional with each other, though DDD can be a bit more open about his friendship with the Dark Knight. I’m making some Friendship Content about them and even adding some lore as to how their relationship formed. Just know they are close and mutual in my AU!

Bonus Bandana Dee Ginjinka! He took in Bandana, who I’ll call Bana, as his little one! This basically makes Bana the Prince, though he doesn’t consider himself such. He wants to fight for the King, stand by his side and repay him for his kindness of not only taking him in, but also taking in his Clan! Of course, he is aware of Meta Knight being King DDD’s Strongest and closest. He would like to challenge Sir Martinez for that position one day.

Finally here’s the Kirby Krew all together! I have not got to play Return to Dreamland completely, but I do plan to purchase the Deluxe Version for the Switch at some point! Hated how the jumping felt delayed in that one Winter Area, jumping over those Damn f*cking spikes. Made me so mad.

ANYWAY!!! ENJOY!!! I loved designing these two!!

Ok this comic probably should've been finished a while ago and drawing some of the characters made me question what I was doing but ITS DONE AND OVER WITH. I think this was a pretty good introduction to the Susie's prologue au (I guess epilogue now?) I have plans to make a comic where Magolor helps Susie apologize to the hero's and in return helps Magolor build his silly amusement park but thats if I have motivation...I might try to lean into more character's backstories like Taranza and make a new one for Marx (because he has zero lore (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)) But thats it for now, so I hope you enjoy and have a good rest of your day!

Prime created them with some mysterious purpose in mind, but in the end, they were considered failures and sent them out to the frontlines to end up as cannon fodder. But, surprise, surprise, it turns out these kiddos are massive menaces. Compared to other Kraang, they have the least amount of bloodlust amongst them, but their scream (the same one that seals away ninpō) is incredibly powerful and is capable of even causing serious physical harm (Mikey and Donnie are their main targets). So, Prime allowed them to live, and they now serve their "Parent" as a tank and shield duo

Also, they dress and act like popstars. No one knows why. But if you start to hear music on the battlefield, that is your only clue to run
