Thought of something interesting for Yamikage from the anime, might use this in my AU- In many fics or AUs I've read, what little the anime showed us with Meta Knight and Yamikage's dynamic has always been built off by making them vicious/mortal enemies, where Yamikage mercilessly betrayed the Star Warriors/GSA and turned on them out of his own hatred and cowardice. I love it, this is an awesome take and it's always executed well!/gen

But consider something a little different- What if Yamikage initially joined the war because he had someone he cared about? Much like the other Star Warriors, imagine he had a family or SO that he wanted to protect and so he enlisted in the GSA early on? But then when he realized the GSA had all but lost the war, he decided to fight for Nightmare's army instead in an attempt to keep his family safe if he pledged his loyalty; not realizing he would lose autonomy much like Jecra/Knuckle Joe's father (explaining the similar red eyes). Pulling a God of War, if Yamikage was forced to terminate his own family/couldn't protect them from the other monsters, that could explain his now cold but sentient attitude. Like he's given up. In turn, if pushed enough in battle… would Yamikage come back to his senses like Jecra did right before passing? If he could just remember the ones he loved? Would he willingly resist Nightmare's influence if given the option? Would Meta Knight help him come back too, since much of the theming in Kirby revolves around redemption? These are fun to think about especially since bro literally dipped into the woods only to never return for another episode, rather than making his way back to NME. He could've easily went back the way he came if he wanted to… as to why he didn't is open for interpretation. Food for thought. :)

A small comic I’d been working on. I got thinking about my gijinkas and my Kirby aging. I’d like to think (using some Kirby Right Back At Ya here) that given Kirby wasn’t meant to wake for 200 years, Meta and him age differently from everyone else. With my head canon that Meta is an adoptive father to Kirby, Kirby would eventually see him as his father. He’d learn a lot more because of him, becoming a skilled Star warrior himself. I haven’t thought much on it but at this point, Kirby is older and alone. Dedede and Bandee would have passed from age. Meta either age or maybe in battle. Kirby grows a strong connection to his adoptive father and dawns Meta’s cape and mask after making (or earning) his own star warrior armor and after Meta’s gone. I’d probably build on this more if I really want to but I’ve had this idea stirring for a while and had been wanting to draw it :)

Which do you prefer, Galacta Knight with red eyes or pink eyes? I technically like the red eyes more, but I tried to draw him without his mask once and realized that color red is like the exact same tone as his magenta body and looks terrible without the black shadows around it. I wonder if that'swhy they changed it to lighter pink?

Is it? I thought his pinkish eyes would be more similar, not the red. (Unless you meant to say pink. Still both colors are awfully close!)

I had honestly forgotten they changed between games. I think mentally I tend to remember them as red? (Which is funny...)

...I think it's interesting that, while they still come off as red-ish in Planet Robobot they are definitely more pink than they were in Return to Dream Land. And become QUITE pink in future games.

Planet Robobot is the game where Meta Knight's eyes got codified (or did they?) as yellow (RIP, white-eyed Meta Knight) so I wonder if that was the game where HAL tried to solidify everyone's designs? 

Except Dedede who magically changes shape per game but, eh, he's the king!

...Game-wise, I do think I like the pink. IMO, with all the (traditionally soft, traditionally girlish) pinks, whites, and golds, despite his war-loving personality, it makes Galacta "fit" in the world of Kirby better? Maybe that sounds strange but this is a world where the most powerful (?) guy in Dream Land is pink as all get-out, so I feel you don't need red to indicate power or danger? Not that I mind the red, but it does make me wonder they didn't originally give him those eyes as an attempt to make him seem more scary or "badass"? (*)

Art-wise, I haven't drawn him enough myself (especially maskless) to have a preference on that front! Though I tend to think one can make ju~st about any combination of colors work (?) as long as you keep the values balanced! (HSL slider my beloved...)

kirby - continues being an altruistic heroic drifter. married to both prince fluff and ribbon and wears the wedding rings on his horns. visits her friends often. basically nothing concrete really changes in their lifestyle aside from becoming older and wiser and more experienced

king dedede: passes down kingship of dream land to bandana waddle dee and retires to traveling the universe with his friend to enjoy delicious food and fun fights as merely "dedede"

meta knight: passes down his mask, identity, and galaxia to their chosen successor, and travels the universe with his friend to enjoy delicious food and fun fights under the name "galacta"

bandana dee: after growing significantly as a leader and warrior, king dedede names him as his successor, and bandee becomes the new king of dream land

gooey: much like kirby, nothing solidly changes for gooey. he gets older and wiser, but he still basically just chills out on dream land and hangs out with his friends and enjoys a peaceful idyllic lifestyle

dl2 animal friends: rick inherits his family farm and marries pick, everyone else kinda just continues with their lives because they were already adults with lives they were living to begin with

marx: dies in a bovine insemination factory explosion at age 19

adeleine: returns to her homeworld and becomes a famous artist

ribbon: rises up the ranks to become the captain of the ripple star royal guard. marries kirby and prince fluff and is considered princess-consort of patch land. gets a really cool gun

dmk: after a long time he finally starts to healthily move on from dark mind's death in amazing mirror and makes friends and becomes shadow dedede's partner but aside from that he largely keeps his existing lifestyle of chilling in his ruins home unless called out

parallel susie: follows in her father's footsteps of becoming a celebrated inventor and enjoys making weird science with her friend magolor. becomes partners with flamberge and a frequent patron of her restaurant

dark taranza: pranks people with nia. just like his old man 8')

shadow dedede: retires from his role as the king of the mirror world to tutor its new king, shadow kirby

shadow kirby: becomes the primary protector of the mirror world. unlike kirby, shadow kirby is not as much of an adventurer and wishes to protect and rule over the mirror world, and shadow dedede mentors him

daroach: continues being a phantom thief well into his middle age. gets a little greyer and a little heavier. what he didn't expect was that middle-adged playboy phantom thieves are in hot hot demand and now has a fanbase of people who want him so so so bad. it is absolutely nothing like he was used to as a young man in the main series

magolor: continues making theme parks, goofing off with his friends, and making weird science with parallel susie

taranza: has taken a step down from ruling floralia in sectonia's absence to train her successor. he lowkey wants to retire already

susie: has long decided that popstar is her home and has largely mellowed out enough that she no longer wants to take over the world and is content to just kind of be popstar's resident tech-themed wizard. marries a nun

francisca/frankiss: fumbles every woman in popstar looking for a girlfriend and tries to forcefem everyone else with varying degrees of success but always ends up rejected in the end anyways

flamberge: opens a really really good barbecue place on hotbeat. becomes partners with patrya.

zan partizanne: struggles with finding purpose after realizing she doesn't want to become like hyness or become the next head priest of the jamba religion. she marries susie and wanders around popstar in search of something that will bring her peace

-This AU primarily takes place within the Kirby gameverse (with a few superficial elements borrowed from external media), the timeline starting many, many decades before the events of Kirby's Dream Land, eventually catching up to and following the main games’ canon (with nods to side games and some unique events added here and there for character flavor). I am trying to stay canon-compliant, but I’m also making things up as I go and changing them as needed, so no promises I won’t just go completely off the rails the more I workshop things, haha.

-I'm leaving ages nebulous in this AU (both because the series itself doesn't really give characters canonical ages and to keep the timeline a bit looser narratively), but - for clarity's sake - we'll say Dedede and Meta are both the equivalent of 7-to-11 years old here, though they first met a little earlier...

-Meta Knight is just called Meta for now - he won’t earn his title until after he starts his overstars military training with the Galaxy Soldier Army (GSA) in his late teens.

-That hammer belongs to Dedede’s mama - a former pro-wrestler - and will someday be passed down to him (once he’s strong enough to actually pick it up).

-In this AU, the GSA is an intergalactic military group fighting various malignant forces across the universe, their reputation generally positive thanks to a genuine effort on their part to balance acts of war and defense with acts of philanthropy, relief aid, and compassion, well-known enough to reach even distant Popstar. Most known Star Warriors - Sir Dragato, Kit Cosmos, Yamikage, etc. - are either long since passed on or retired somewhere outside of the story (with a few exceptions we may learn about later...). Though really more for background flavor and worldbuilding, the GSA becomes a crucial element to Meta's storyline later down the line, since - upon learning of them in his youth - he becomes enamored with their deeds and longs to be a knight himself (not yet aware of the hardships involved in becoming one).

-The kids like to spar and roughouse in their free time, but they sometimes get proper training from Dedede’s papa - a retired knight himself with connections to the GSA, who’d settled in Dream Land with his wife just before they had their only son. Meta looks up to him with the same admiration he has for the Star Warriors while Dedede doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with his well-meaning but strict father.

-In his early years, Meta is quite shy around people he doesn’t know well. In overwhelming situations, he tends to either shut down and go non-verbal or quietly slip away to recoup. That said, he is much more expressive around those he trusts, listening eagerly and chatting far more than he would otherwise. He also has a bit of an anger streak hidden just under all that resolve, though it takes a lot of prodding to bring it out...

-As a kid, Dedede is impulsive to a fault and likes to make wild plans that often put him and his buddies in precarious situations (when he actually follows through with them, that is). Meta is often the first to point out the flaws in said plans (if Para Dee doesn’t do it first) but inevitably ends up tagging along anyway, his wariness easily overturned by his curiosity.

-Despite the generally welcoming nature of the village, Meta still faces some measure of bullying due to his strange appearance and timid nature. Usually, he waits it out until either his tormentors get bored or Dedede steps in to defend him, but - as the taunts persist and his temper grows - it's only matter of time before he's the one getting into scraps rather than his bigger buddy...

When rewatching Kirby, there is one scene that isn’t talked about much by fans: (possibly) Kirby’s creation

The thing that I often question about this scene is, HOW DOES META KNIGHT KNOW THAT KIRBY IS A MONSTER!?!?

It really sucks that the show only mentions Kirby being a monster one time and never again mentions it again for the rest of the series.

In the next episode (dark and stormy knight) Meta knight tells Tiff about Kirby being a destined Star Warrior, but never mentions Kirby being a monster.

This is what he says instead:

“It was my hope that young warriors would appear. Warriors with new strength and new spirit. Warriors who would battle to defeat eNeMeE.”

“Starships are designed to automatically fly warriors to planets where monsters are detected. The king likes monsters, so I hope the young warrior would come here.”

“Kirby’s Starship detected the King’s monster…but Kirby wasn’t scheduled to awaken for another 200 years.”

“He is totally untrained. He cannot speak, he can barely think.”

“ Yes but luckily, he has great natural abilities. If he develops them properly, he may be able to defeat eNeMeE and I can help him.”

“My help will not be enough to make him a warrior. Kirby will also need your help. The Warp Star is the source of Kirby’s power. He has only to see it to get his power, but he is unable to guard it for himself. It can only be kept safe by one who truly loves and cares for him.”

I really wish that Kirby being a monster created by N.M.E. was mentioned more in the show.

Another thing I want to mention is who truly created the Warp Star/Star Rod.

In the finale when Kirby faces eNeMeE, Kirby swallows the warp Star and becomes Star Rod Kirby.

eNeMeE has an interesting reaction when Kirby transforms, implying he was the one who created the Star rod

“How did Kirby discover the secret?! That pitiful little star warrior has been my only weakness. I am helpless against the power of the star rod.”-eNeMeE (episode: Fright to the Finish)

How does Meta Knight know about the Warp Star being the source of Kirby’s power?

There are so many answers left unanswered and I hope if there was ever a Kirby prequel (focusing on the Star Warriors and their Kids (Knuckle Joe and Sirica)) there will be more to learn about Kirby and eNeMeE.

King Fluff's Proposal (this far into the future, they battle their demons, Kirby becomes a star warrior & Prince Fluff takes the throne and now there's one thing left to do! <3)

Yeah, this one took a while, and I combined the two. I had to update the reworked lore from last year's (this one). I also did a few things to "foreshadow " the upcoming events in the main storyline.

Hopefully, they'll be a part 2 on Kirby's part! I'm still not done with Kirfluff week, and I plan on ending it with a bang. I look forward to the rest!

Link: An unstoppable warrior bound to an eternal cycle of reincarnation, forced by an ancient curse to be reborn, fight, and die over and over again for all eternity and no version of him even knows this. Commonly wields a sword he himself forged in a lifetime eons ago, and despite having forgotten the spirit within still holds an innate connection with it. The eternal knight of the descendants of a goddess incarnate, whom he must fight with to vanquish/seal away the great king of evil over and over and over and over again, forever.

Donkey Kong: monke

Kirby: What the fuck is this thing. He's a pink ball of ultimate power that lives in happy sunshine land on a planet shaped like a cartoon star. He's strongly implied to be related to a literal chaos god in some form, and kills gods biweekly over fucking cake. He can and will beat any of your favorite characters in a fight without breaking a sweat and he is canonically a fucking child. An eternal hunger and the capability for infinite change burn everlasting behind eyes filled with childlike wonder and innocence.

Wario: stinky garlic man

Samus Aran: The only survivor of a planetary genocide taken in by the remnants of a dead empire, trained to become the ultimate warrior. Briefly enlisted in the space cops but left to be a Boba Fett. Has gone toe-to-toe, throat-to-throat with the galaxy's greatest terrors, from an eldritch mutagen to the very beast that destroyed her home to the only other successors left behind by her surrogate family: a supercomputer that watched over her in her youth and a bioweapon ripe for exploitation. The supercomputer, who controlled even the criminals that wronged her so long ago, fell not once, but twice by her hands, and the bioweapon exterminated to a single member. While the sole survivor would later perish, it would save her life postmortem from the plague it was created to stop, eventually turning her into the very thing she swore to destroy in order to save the galaxy.

⭐️ If your OC could pick a final weapon from any game to use (such as the Star Rod, Crystal Gun, Triple Star Cane, etc.) which one would they choose and why?

I would imagine Sub-Zero opting for the Love-Love Stick, for no reason other than its effectiveness against Dark Matter. She deeply disdains and fears the things both, so even something to keep around as a ward of sorts would make her feel significantly better. Lavandia, I could absolutely see going for the crystal gun for one reason: rooty tooty point-n-shooty.

👻 Has your OC ever been possessed or mind controlled? If yes, how did it happen?

Sub-Zero has the fortune of not being able to be possessed by Dark Matter—the light within a Kiridan (fancy name for the puffball species I adopted a great many years ago from an old friend who had adopted it from the one who coined the term in the first place) Star Warrior is simply too powerful, and a Dark Matter would essentially be torturing itself attempting to possess one anyhow. It's likely this fact that protected her from Nightmare during the war, considering she was in fact captured and held prisoner by his forces at one point. She's nowhere near as strong as Kirby, but her inner light is still very powerful.

Lavandia's never been possessed or mind controlled simply because she's never even experienced anything related to Dark Matter or the war, growing up in the sheltered, long-forgotten reaches of Floralia. I'd imagine she'd be a bit like Nemona from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet though where she's just too darned energetic and enthusiastic to be kept under full control anyway.

🥀 What is your OC's favorite kind of flower/plant?

Sub-Zero has a particular fondness for irises and orchids, though she's rather fond of all flowers. Lavandia, of course, does not have a single plant she dislikes, but her favorite flowers are almost definitely daisies and yellow roses.

📺 If the anime got a reboot or if there was another Kirby TV show, do you have any ideas for episodes that your OC could appear in? What would the plot be and what role would your OC play?

I actually have Sub-Zero's arrival to Dreamland planned and written out exactly as though it were an entire HnK episode, which will be seen eventually in fanfic form at at least, eheheh. I even made sketches for some scenes! After that I'd imagine she'd become a common supporting character like Fumu. Lavandia, I'm not entirely sure—I have something new to think about now!

🪞 Does your OC have a mirror counterpart? If so, what is their mirror counterpart like?

Indeed; to start with, let me ramble a bit about the mirror doppelgangers. In my headcanons, the Mirror counterparts are not opposites of their normal selves, but rather the reflections of what lies deep within their normal counterparts—that is to say, the Mirror doppelgangers are born of and created purely from the Dimension Mirror reflecting the darkest hidden traits of their regular self when that individual gazes into the Dimension Mirror (or any version of it, like the Black Mirror). For example, Shadow Kirby was born of Kirby's hidden insecurities; Dark Meta Knight was born of Meta Knight's hunger for power; Dark Taranza was born of Taranza's grief and regret, and so on. Because these counterparts are just reflections of their true selves, the only way to truly kill them would be to kill their normal counterpart.

Sub-Zero's mirror world counterpart is known as Shimokage; because Sub-Zero underwent brief ninja training in the GSA before ultimately choosing the path of a knight, her mirror counterpart is a ninja of... mediocre skill. She is the reflection of Sub-Zero's many long-standing grudges that she harbors deep within and finds herself unable to forgive—be it her hatred of Dark Matter for its attempted annihilation of her kind; her hatred of Nightmare and all the misery he caused; her bitterness toward traitors such as Yamikage, Marx and Magolor, or her loathing of HWC for their invasion of Popstar (for which she pins the blame, and anger, squarely on Susie). That said, Shimokage is a vengeful and petty soul, always out on a quest to get revenge for things she's long since forgotten the purpose for, fueled by countless old grudges that have long since become muddied and twisted together. Her bitterness has become a warped envy over the smallest of things, adding more and more grudges to her endless list. She carries none of the honor and dignity in the face of those she disdains that Sub-Zero attempts to uphold.

Shadow Lavandia is the reflection of the wild, untamed force of nature that lurks within Lavandia. If Lavandia is like a blooming garden of flora, then Shadow Lavandia is like an overgrown, untamable jungle. She's unpredictable and vicious, sent into a rage by the smallest offense, and may be smiling at you one moment, then furiously strangling you in her ragged tangle of vines the next. This savage unpredictability lurks within Lavandia, but she masks it well under a cheerful optimism and patience that makes it all the more chilling when her savagery is unleashed.

🧙‍♂️ If your OC had armor and a weapon themed after them for Super Kirby Clash, which of the roles (Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore, or Beam Mage) would the armor and weapon be for and what would it look like?

Sub-Zero: Sword Hero

Blade of Fjords — a Kirby-sized version of Sub-Zero's sword, Fjord.

"A frigid blade wielded by the enigmatic Herald of Winter. It emanates a curious icy chill, perfect for keeping it cool when things get heated."

Herald's Helm — a Kirby-sized version of Sub-Zero's mask, pauldrons and wings, without the dark tinted visor that the real mask has.

"War-worn armor resembling that of a certain icy warrior. Donning it fills the wearer's mind with fuzzy memories of times long since forgotten."

Lavandia: Doctor Healmore

Overgrown Flask — a vaguely pentagonal flask with healthy green vines wrapping around it and a mysterious purple potion encased within, capped by a small pale yellow flower.

"Something about this floral flask fills its holder with a ferocious tenacity whenever they enter battle. Nature can be fearsome."

Lavandian Hood — a lavender-colored eared hood complete with a small star-shaped charm dangling from the left ear and blue-and-white striped scarf covering the wearer's mouth, identical to Lavandia's getup. Akin to the Magoloran gear without the attached cape; instead comes with a wig of white hair peeking out from under the hood in the front and back. Lacks glasses, akin to the Sectonia gear.

"Whoever wears this hood may become inclined toward brutal honesty and a deep admiration for the beauty of the natural world. It bears a striking resemblance to a certain traveler from afar."

🗣️ Does your OC speak more than one language? If they do, what languages do they speak and how did they learn them?

Sub-Zero, due to her experience and travels as a knight-errant, can speak a great many languages from various places of origin to a certain degree. Most prominently, she speaks the modern language of her homeland of Frostak, as well as its long-forgotten ancient tongue, and the common language of Popstar. Lavandia fluently speaks only the common language of Popstar, but she can read writings in ancient Halcandran due in large part for having been around for all of Magolor's obsessive studies.

🎶 What is a song that you associate with your OC, and why do you associate it with them?

I first listened to Stand My Ground by Within Temptation several years ago and immediately realized how much it reminds me of Sub-Zero, and haven't been able to associate any other song with her since. She's been through horrors, countless things that nearly cost her life, yet she clings to her steadfast determination no matter what and refuses to give up until she the moment breathes her last. She'll keep fighting until she can't anymore and someone else has to take up the mantle for her.

For Lavandia, I never put quite as much thought into it, but I always find myself thinking of her whenever I listen to The Seed by AURORA. Floralian through and through, she's a fierce whisperer and guardian of nature, and nothing enrages her more than nature being exploited and destroyed for the sake of greed. She abhors what was done to Halcandra in the war between the Mages and Technicians, and it fills her with a sickening dread to think how close Popstar has come at times to bringing the same fate upon itself. She despises all the things that spark the greed in people that causes them to take the beautiful world around them for granted.

⚔️ (Crossed Swords) - What weapon(s) do they wield or specialize in, if any in particular? Any special properties? Do their weapons have names or epithets? [e.g. MK’s Galaxia, Morpho’s Doomblade]

★ Fal has a broken heart-shaped holographic shields to defend himself, (nameless because he never thought about a name for those shields-) which are shields reminiscent of Star Dream force field. The reason for this is because i designed that with the idea to show the connection between Fal and Star Dream, as both are ancient artifacts, although they are the complete opposite of the other

★ Snow wouldn't wish for anything. Maybe she wants to remedy her past mistakes or prevent someone's death, but the Ancients are gone, the GSA is dissolved and the cosmos is at peace... She feels that changing the past now isn't necessary. Maybe her only wish would be that nothing bad happened to Fal and her new home (Dreamland)

★ Fal, for his part, has friends, a home, a job and Snow by his side, that is more than enough... Maybe he'd ask to be organic to know what it's like to have real skin (?)

🧋 (Boba Tea) - Come up with a Kirby Café item themed around your OC! It can be a savoury dish, a drink, a dessert, or something else entirely.

★ i'm not the best with these kinds of questions... My knowledge about food is... Super limited, not to mention just the basics... Ahem! i guess Fal would have a Kamaboko with rainbow swirls and Snow would have mochis, perhaps decorated with edible flowers... There would also be sodas... It's not much use but believe me, if there was a menu based on Fal, it would be a sin not to include sodas

🍒 (Cherry) - Out of all of the Dream Friends [Kirby included], which ones would they get along with the most? The least?

★ Susie and Magolor are evidently the closest to Fal. In addition to repaired him and given him a body, they taught him several things and updated him on various topics in which he lacked knowledge. Maybe he doesn't like to be the target for Magolor pranks time to time, but a little chatter about the decades of wondrous intergalactic travel of Magolor worth it. That cat is always eager to share stuff with his friends! At the same time Fal rambles 24/7 when he's talkin’ with Magolor or Taranza. Susie also enjoys the info dump of Fal, but she tends to cut him often since Fal can distracts really easily from his job. Although their relationship is not perfect, they are very good friends!! (i would include Lor but she is not a playable character-)

★ Taranza is another close one; both of them loves to rambles about plants! They are really good friends, especially for the emotional support that the arachnid provided to Fal in depressive and melancholic moments, especially when the topic of Snow White's death depressed the fish. Taranza taught him breathing exercises and also about gardening, although not much because Fal tried to bury himself in the ground just because he liked how it feels, so they just go to drink tea and eat desserts while rambling about plants and vent when needed

★ Marx and Meta Knight are two that Fal hates. Marx is really rude, a hedonist who plays jokes left and right. He even takes advantage of Fal's fear and usually has Gooey as an accomplice in his pranks. With Meta Knight it is more extensive:

1- With his goggles he discovered MK's attempt to take over Popstar and for Fal that is something that, coming from a Star Warrior, is expected but at the same time outrageous. He and Snow made an effort to take care of those kinds of individuals and even when the GSA dissolved, there is a Star Warrior who received no punishment or consequences for his actions. He can't understand why Dedede is datin' with this bat

2- Meta thought that Fal was some of Susie's weapons and with memories of Vietnam, he tried to get rid of Fal, which only made things worse between the two- i know it's a bit over the top of MK to try to silence Fal... But seeing as how everything between MK and Susie is something... Tense and seeing the disasters that ancient artifacts bring, i don't think he takes Fal lightly...

Snow doesn't know any of them yet, but from what shehear from Fal, she doesn't have a good opinion of MK

🥀 (Wilted Rose) - Do they have a Soul form? What would it look and act like? How much control over themselves do they have? Is it still possible to save them, or are they too far gone?

Ok, at first i questioned whether it was necessary or even possible because Fal is an AI, he lacks a soul, but Star Dream came to shut me up and remind me that even machines have something reminiscent of the soul

My idea for a Soul Form would be: The physical body inert/broken but looking calm or as if it were asleep, the core of the chest broken and a giant holographic sphere that came out of the core

What “hatched” from the husk would be a mass of warping, twisting and pulsating veins that look like colorful stars, their light alternating between too dim and far too bright all of them trapped in an gigant sphere that shifts in hue and drips along the bottom with a ghostly aura that roils and shimmers. It hasn't an ethereal nature, as it flickers and warps in shape like a projection of light rather than a real solid entity. Unfortunately for everyone, too far gone...

Snow... She's already dead, so her "soul form" would be more like a... Completely lack of sanity

Pretty much like Madoka, Snow dreams of saving everyone and everything. "Soul Fal" despite being just the shadow of his former self will follow Snow dreams. Master and Waiter work together with a common goal... They will kept dreaming. They are both chasing their dreams

🥘 (Stew) - Do they have any favorite foods or comfort foods? What are their eating habits like? If absorbed by the Cook ability, what healing item would they summon?

★ Snow is a Puffball, don't forget she's a Puffball

In life she had an appetite comparable to Kirby's, but she managed to control herself from time to time... But not always. Despite knowing how to cook good meals, when she came home tired, she didn't bother cooking and often ate canned food due to her tiredness. Snow has a great fascination for apples, anything with an apple included will be devoured without a doubt. Even apple-scented soaps.....

★ Unconsciously Fal picks up Snow's habit, but... It goes to the extreme. If something fits in his mouth, then he will eat it. Ham, salads, chicken, burgers, unpeeled bananas, polystyrene pellets, cans… He is similar to a toddler in that habit. Young children often put things in their mouths (such as grass or toys) out of curiosity about the world around them

★ He's happy to eat anything, edible or not. Fal has a list of foods that are his favorite; but he's still trying a lot of things and choosing one of THOUSANDS OF OPTIONS as his favorite is a torture for him. Fal can eat metal too, but he prefers actual food though, and he's a REALLY big fan of meats and fish. And sodas

If he could, he would drink absolutely all flavors of sodas he can find out there. And eat all the soda cans after that as well!

★ i think for the cook ability Fal would give a fish cake (Kamaboko) and Snow a Mochi or an apple

Something very sad happened today so I wanted to tell you some more headcanons about 0!Tiff so I can be distracted from it

• She likes to play games that involves fighting demons (i.e.FAITH: The Unholy Trinity {Come out you red robed man / Come out and fight me like a man}* and the DOOM series {"Rip and tear...until it's done"})

• Just so you know, I envision her eyes as looking like that of what we see in "Bloody Mary" (i.e. the right eye has a green heart at the bottom and the left one has a red diamond in the middle)

• The halo that she can have functions a lot like the one he had as 02 of which can be multicolored (though usually it's yellow until someone messes with it to make it fittingly red)

• she can do stuff based off the other bosses in K64, either controlling their respective "elements" (i.e. Whispy and Magman) or something more creative that references that games "PERFECT" screen (PIX => Spark-i; Acro's tail is mimicked to become a mermaid-esce tail; HR-H/E lend in it's laser eye [only in 1 eye of your choice] and missile-shooting claws respectively)

• 0!Tiff's way of fighting with a parasol is essentially a mix between how Kirby fights with it (when it's open) and fencing (referencing that one american commercial for Kirby's adventure)

• You remember when I said cleaning wasn't included 'cuz it's trash (pun not intended), well it was actually because I couldn't really think of any combos for it, but in the comments of the vid made by ranger the warrior, there was someone user-named smh4907 who was a LOT more creative than me that came up with some actually pretty nifty ideas that actually fit perfectly (though personally I would have made mega clean a de-make of it's friend ability in star allies like parasol)

• Related to that last post, people had the collective idea to make stone/parasol a hammer or a pickaxe and I thought that maybe she would be able to conjure up them and/or even an axe to use against Dedede (oh, and whoever she needs to face, I guess)

One more thing that I want to say:

When I sent those asks, what I wanted was just to see your doodles of my silly little headcanons because my drawing skills are akin to chris-chan's I just felt like you would like drawing more of them and, honestly, you don't have to add anything, I just would like other's to be able to see what I thought up and to see more of your doodles of her as well as to hopefully help distract both of us from the current condition of the world around us

(Of course, if you don't exactly feel comfortable with taking the ideas of a complete stranger other than in the form of a commission, that's perfectly respectable and I would be perfectly ok w/ you just responding to the ask and telling me so even tho that would likely mean that i have to develop my art skills so that they are competent enough to at the very least try emulating yours but hey at least then I might be competent enough in the storytelling dept. to turn my bullet points into a actual story that's actually worth telling**)

Incarnations AU is back, with more stuff from the poll I put out a few months ago!

This is probably the most fanfiction thing in this AU, the idea of a Redeemed Dark Matter. I always thought Dark Matter was an interesting villain for the franchise, and I've chosen to characterize it as both a villain and a victim. Something that was born from a source of great pain and hatred, that was never shown another way, and left to fester in its own misery for eons.

So, what would they be life if given a second chance? What if they were allowed to live again, with a new perspective?

I have a few ideas on how this could even happen. Most revolving around a Clockwork Star, a wish gone awry, and the concentrated power of a wishing star being too much to handle, even for an Incarnation.

It culminates in a battle between an unstable, barely holding together Dark Matter and Kirby. Kirby hears their enemy call out to them from the chaotic void. But it's not a taunt or a temptation to join them.

It's a call for help. For an end to the despair.

But Kirby doesn't destroy them this time. They spare the Darkness, because they believe the Darkness could do better, if given guidance.

Zero is the first to reemerge from the swirl, in a new form. It is still strange, still terrifying gigantic, but it is a broken and healed angel. It is in a new form, with a new life. Rather than Zero 3, Kirby decides to give it a different name. They give him the name Cipher.

Cipher's subjects form and emerge shortly after him. They emerge with a choice: Stay or Leave. Those who leave will disconnect from the greater hive and be on their own to do as they wish. Those who stay become part of the new Dark Matter. The New Kingdom.

Dark Nebula is suspicious and wary of this truce with the Star Child but is willing to stick around to protect Cipher and the hive with her life. Just as she always has. She becomes the head administrator and advisor to the new king, as well as the primary ambassador to attend events that Cipher's size and reputation prevents him from attending.

The Swordsmen emerge, and those who stay accept their new role as the royal guard, the sworn protectors of Cipher and Nebula. Some chose to leave. Some scatter to the stars to search for a new purpose. Most surprisingly, some stay on Popstar, becoming wandering warriors. One even joins the Meta-Knights. But those who stay take their duties quite seriously.

It's the Drones that are most intriguing. Most stick around the hive. But some decide to leave. Some become normal citizens of Popstar. Some become explorers with intent to return to the hive one day. Some leave with the Swordsmen, coming squires of sorts. And some... well, some can't let go of the old way. They can't let go of the need to infect and hide. It's with a heavy heart that those are dealt with, often by Cipher himself. But, those who stay are the bulk of the citizens of the New Kingdom. They serve as the staff to Cipher and Nebula, as entourage on diplomatic missions, as builders and cultivators and explorers. It's the first time they've been allowed to explore their own interests. To build and grow, rather than infect or take or destroy. They are Cipher's subjects. And he sees them with the same parental warmth Dedede feels for the Waddle Dees.

It's a feeling very new to everyone involved.

Then there's Miracle Matter. The one thing Cipher tried to create. The first thing he felt true grief for. The first to add to the hive when she was destroyed. She emerges from the cloud, still tiny, still strange, but with a very different role. No longer was she meant to be Kirby's counter, a copy, a corrupted answer. Now, she was Kirby's cousin. A new friend, one who they could teach games and play with, like Gooey and Bandie. Now, she was Cipher's princess. His daughter, in a way.

It's a new thing for him, the idea of family. But Nebula and Miracle are his unit. His sister and his daughter. And he learns to love. Love and dotes on them as would any brother and father.

They make a home of Popstar's moon. They keep in contact with Popstar. They try to make amends with other kingdoms, especially Ripple Star. They rise as a New Hive.

And they are happy.

(I like to write notes down and facts about a character's backstory in a unique way before drawing out the concept art. It's almost like a riddle! See if you can find out who this character of mine is related to :D)

- I tried to be as fierce of a guardian to the best of my ability... But it seems to fail, especially when it's "one" frail, powerless fool

- My older brother, he hates me. It's my fault really... I just need to find a path to a stronger tomorrow

- Sometimes, I just really can't stand him! Expecting me to be a powerhouse just like everyone else! Why can't my speed and small stature be enough...

- I still have lots yet to learn and discover, especially about myself

- Even being ancient compared to you "Dream Landians," I'm actually still considered quite young and childish among my kind

- My brother is the guardian of the Land. What a cool sounding name! I'm considered the opposite if you catch my drift

- These wings are my strength. I don't know what I'd do without them. I most likely wouldn't even be here right now if it wasn't for their perseverance

- Isn't the sky such a pretty color? During the light of the day, it matches me. But as the stars begin to set, the color really reminds me of my brother

- I hope someday my brother could forgive me. I never meant for that treasure to be stolen and become the root of a calamity...

- This ring? It's an artifact. Actually.. one of the only things left that even serves as a reminder of my clan

- I absolutely cannot lose this artifact! Heh, I wouldn't even be able to speak to you right now without it, person from the present

- The ancient civilization? Yeah I know of it, my purpose surrounds keeping their creations out of the wrong hands

- You took me in when all was done and over for me, warrior of great power and virtue. I shall serve you with my life

- You know what, observing you "Dream Landians" has made me appreciate this.. silly and laid back disposition of yours. Mind if you allow me to learn your ways?

- What?! I thought my kind was only able to transform into a max of one other separate form. Are you really alright with me taking a form of your kind?

- Very well. I'll never forget this honor bestowed upon me Sir.. ah- what should I refer to you?

- Really?! You'd be friends with someone as different from your species as I? Thank you. I never had a.. friend before

- This form... This mask- I think I like it.

- Heh, don't be shy! Climb on! I can take you to the skies and the vastness of space

- Whew. That was close! If it wasn't for this form, my brother would've recognized me and I'd certainly be put through the wringer!

A problem I have with one-off/guest star characters…

Yk one thing that confuses me about the Kirby Anime?

How come Phan Phan stays in later episodes, but the baby Galbo doesn’t?

I find this strange because they both are monsters that were close friends to Kirby and yet the writers remembered Phan Phan, but not the Galbo…

If the Galbo really stayed as a pet to Kirby, where is he??? And why does no one ever mention him again?!? That seems pretty suspicious…

This is not the first time I noticed the absence of a character. There was also Yamikage, a ninja star warrior who eventually betrayed his army. He literally had a scene near the end of the episode “Ninja Binge” where he runs away and vows to himself that he will get revenge on Kirby and Meta Knight, implying he might return in a future episode…and he never returns after that…

Sm wasted potential…ITS ALREADY BEEN 23 YEARS!?!? WHERE IS HE!?!?

It’s so odd that the writers remembered Kit Cosmos and included him in the finale, but not the traitor of the star warriors. Honestly if the movie was rewritten they should definitely add Yamikage into the story and add more screen time for Rouge Destroya pilots. Maybe there would even be a battle to the death with Sir Arthur fighting against Yamikage on who gets to own one of the Destroya ships (of course Arthur would win since he gains ownership of the ship).

Another character I felt like had wasted potential was Bonkers. He literally came to Cappy Town so that he can become a Star Warrior like Kirby. Bonkers has such an interesting character and yet we never see him again after the episode he was featured in. Honestly he and Knuckle Joe would be best friends since not only they share monster transformation trauma, but they also hunt down monsters in the sake of defending the universe. Bonkers also would’ve been perfect for the finale and maybe we would’ve been a rouge destroya pilot.

KNUCKLE JOE AND BONKERS INTERACTION WHEN!?!?!?!

I could also talk about the wasted potential for the Star Warriors in general, but that is just a different story.

Maybe on the bright side when a spin off or remake happens to the anime, the writers would give more atention and care to these characters and develop them. I guess a good thing about this is that the show is open to hcs and new ideas fans can express from one another. Even though these characters might not have enough spotlight, I still love them and I hope the writers will love them as much as I do.
