what if kenta is tony’s son

obvious disclaimer: i have not read the novel nor gotten any spoilers so if this is wrong pls dont hate me lol. it might just be a dumb theory but ! i may be cringe but i am free.

ok so these are the points my theory hinges on

1) kenta clearly doesn’t wear the other trafficked children’s uniform

every one of the trafficked ‘alpha’ kids wear a long sleeved white shirt with red track pants and white sneakers. we have seen this with babe, pete, charlie and jeff. but kenta just. doesn’t?

2) kenta clearly follows separate rules than the other kids in the mansion

does this not look weird? like ‘the outside world belongs to alpha children’ implies that kenta is not an alpha, but ‘normal’. we know that that doesn’t make sense because in a previous episode we get to know that tony only adopts alpha (and enigma) children. so why would he have kenta?

3) just weird behaviour

and also can i just point out that he just treats kenta way more different than other kids? like yes we’ve seen him throw way around a bit but that’s because he ‘fucked up’. he takes any and all frustrations out on kenta as if he has personally offended and embarrassed him. and kenta seems to have a bit more freedom than other kids. kenta also seems awfully defensive of tony when he’s fully aware of what’s happening to the children. is he brainwashed? or has he just grown up knowing that tony is his only family? (it kinda reminds me of gun and vegas from kinnporsche tbh.)

my stand in ep 2 thoughts, feelings, etc.

alright i wanted to write this up nicely but it took me... two hours to get through the episode bc i kept stopping to write notes, so i'll do my best i guess.

weird thing about me is when i watch shows and write notes for these posts i always write the notes on napkins? i have like 5 different notebooks in arms reach at all times but i really like scribbling on a napkin for the true unhinged effect.

anyway blah blah reminder i'm just a silly dude on the internet, idk shit about dick, i just like to say shit, don't take me too seriously.

also please DO NOT leave novel spoilers in my reblogs, tags, or replies without some kind of warning label. please? it seems to happen with every show i write meta for and i LOVE that people get hyped but there's no way for me to avoid it when it's in my notifications like that.

some before the actual episode stuff; after learning last week that some of the kinnporsche people worked on this it really becomes apparent, especially in the style of the intro.

the music choices also seem a bit reminiscent of kinnporsche (and a little bit of not me) which i really enjoy. it feels kind of familiar and comforting.

immediately i loved how soft this episode started, the slight stubble on each of them, the way joe speaks so softly as if afraid to shatter their little bubble of peace, etc. i also love that the show doesn't skirt around the topic of sex and the fact that sometimes sex is awkward and clumsy, especially with a new partner and doubly so when it's your first queer partner.

and then the peace was shattered with ming kissing his back yet again. ouchies.

"will tong be at the set?" he's just not even trying to hide it. he basically said 'yeah ur great and all but tong????' but DAMN if poom isn't the absolute king of microexpressions.

at this point i can't really tell if tong is being a spoiled prince (derogatory) or if he's tired of acting in general? judgement withheld until a later date.

and then we jump into this actress being a parallel to ming and OOF OUCHIES MY ORGANS. she's a fan of tong but has to "settle" for joe - just like ming. and yet joe takes the time to be kind, to soothe her worries and put her at ease, because he has a heart of absolute gold. "it's her first movie but she was left to drown by the male lead." it's ming's first love and he has been left to drown in it.

mek's acting is really endearing. this is my first exposure to him (ive seen some of his social media and really like what he stands for as a person) and i'm instantly drawn to his performance. he also pulls off a great balance of adorable/sexy.

OOH THE SHOW SAID BISEXUAL OUT LOUD. A WIN FOR THE BI'S WE LOVE TO SEE IT.

i personally find ming's jealously hilarious. what a little caricature of toxicity.

anyway, it seems to me that if ming could get over his feelings and enjoy what he has in front of him he could be part of and enjoy a very sweet family, as it does seem tong IS giving him love, just not the exact flavor he craves.

the cut to joe's training made me laugh. little oat lore dump but my bio dad was actually a stunt man for movies (which is another part of why i was so excited for this show) and i can promise you nothing like this was part of it. what do i know, though, maybe things have changed since the early 2000s lol.

(no, they're probably not any movies you know, aside from maybe wild wild west [1999]. he mostly did westerns, historical docudramas, and historical fiction.)

ANYWAY AGAIN. with this little glimpse into ming's home life we get to see that he's very accustomed to doing what he wants and getting what he wants, which makes a lot of sense when applied to his almost obsessive behavior regarding tong - and now joe. i did absolutely LOVE linin and her sassy independence (minus the 'i can buy anything i need'.)

but... girl... did you just spray perfume in your mouth?

your actions are strange and unsettling. i like that in a woman.

ugh getting into ming venting his frustrations on joe's body. listen. liiiisten. while toxic without prior discussion... i'm into it. it may or may not be one of my favorite tropes in fanfic. toxic and unhealthy as fuck and i'm here for it.

AND THEN DAMN POOM THOSE NOISES. ACTING FOR YOUR LIFE BBY -- and the SNEEZE AT ORGASM LMAAAO oh i hope that's a running bit for some comedic relief.

because we then make a SHARP pivot into "then stop me" and there's so much potential for pain and self loathing there, for joe to think "i can't blame ming, i didn't stop any of it." i'm sat.

a little side bar, but i'm enjoying the fact that while there is discussion of topping and bottoming as a narrative device there really aren't any stereotypes here. i think on a surface level people would think "oh joe is the top" (pit babe style) and the show said no actually he isn't. love that for us.

"you can even move in haha jk" but the thing is, not jk, because joe would do that for ming - for anyone - bc that's the type of person he is.

hold up is this wut out drinking with them? OH SHIT IT IS. OKAY. it didn't give us much but at least it's a little connection to him finally. we knew joe knew him from his first life, just didn't really know how.

"i missed you" and when was the last time someone missed joe? not who he's replacing or the space he's filling, but HIM?

love ming's goofy ass locking the door and going inside just so he can make a dramatic ass appearance like he's 'the other woman' or some shit LMAO.

"what's in you to make me jealous?" quite possibly the worst dialogue tree choice ming could've picked.

"don't be so full of yourself" something joe has never been a day in his life. "you're just a stand-in." he knows. it's not something he ever forgets.

but after all that toxicity we have ming back home, seeking out joe's food for comfort, and we finally get to see him interact with his sister. i LOVE that she knows the importance of being a little silly as a treat, one of my biggest life mottos. we also get to see more of how ming is surrounded by love that he misses out on bc of his own wallowing and self sabotage.

oh, the homoeroticism of sparring with your bestie.

ough. sol with too many eyes on him and none of them sincere and joe with nothing but sincerity to offer but remains invisible. oof ouch.

enter ming with more religious imagery to match last week's cross scene. something something the sin of greed? confessing your sins? coveting - idk man, i don't have any religious trauma, my family let me just do my own thing.

but with ming knowing joe's true feeling every toxic thing he does is going to be 1000x more painful and i'm here for it. bring it you fucked up little guy.

"we can't mess with each other's privacy" don't mess with MY privacy. "you can't mess around with anyone else" emphasis on YOU, not we.

and then it's driven home what a romantic joe is, both with his workout heartbreak poetry and this little lady and the tramp noodle moment. this man, again much like pit babe, wants to be domesticated so bad.

and i know we all have hated on ming, that's the point, he's been a caricature of a toxic relationship spelled out in neon letters --

but when was the last time ming laughed with someone like this?

Look these guys manage to be one sided love AND mutual pining AND slow burn despite having their first kiss like 20 pages or so into the first novel. There's a whole novella just about their misadventures trying to have sex for the first time which granted us the insane quote of: "I want to be the only thing touching him. I want to be the only thing that ever touches him again. I will be envious of every shirt he ever wears, the cuffs of his coats, the trousers going soft with wear where they rub his inner thighs."

What if there was KinnPorsche but with new cast?

Don't freak out. This is just me and my beloved friend Dante (@tbhimnoteasyonmyself) creating a fan cast of KinnPorsche. We were talking about the tragedy that 2Moons: The Ambassador ended up being and Dante said: "Imagine if they tried to make KPTS s2 but with no one..." and our brains rolled. I wasn't sure if I really wanted to post it, but whatever, here it goes. What were the criteria? We picked from Thai actors. We always looked for someone who would at least partially looked the part, is good enough to own the role and is or passes the correct age. We based it both on the drama but also the novel. ❗️Disclaimer❗️ These are purely our own preferences and opinions and you are fully entitled to your own and disagree with us. It was done for fun and we never meant to disrespect the original cast. They were incredible and we respect and love them. And this all is just a hypothetical scenario and if there was another KPTS content, of course we would always prefer the original cast (apart from a certain person). So let's go!

KINN The main duo was the hardest to find. We threw around many names. Understandably, it's very hard to find anyone who would match Mile. In this case we decided to go more with novel version of Kinn and decided on Joong Archen

You might think he's too young, but as I said we settled on novel version of Kinn (and Porsche) and there Kinn is 20/21, so even younger than Joong is. He has the eyebrows (very important) and mainly he has the vibe and skill to portray the middle son of the mafia family with strong aura a cold vibes. We can clearly see the skill in The Heart Killers. PORSCHE With that we are moving to Kinn's main bodyguard and later boyfriend Porsche. We were wondering if we should switch pairings, but figured out that what works doesn't need to be changed. So for Porsche, we went with

Dunk Natachai

When this option first came out, I was a bit worried that Dunk would struggle with Porsche. But after seeing him in The Heart Killers (combined with his work in The Star in My Mind), I believe he would be able to potray the silly playful Porsche, but at the same time handle the serious moments. Again, he might seem young, but reminder that Porsche is 20 in the novel.

TANKHUN/KHUN

This one came up right away. First choice was the final one. Without a doubt, we picked

Nut Supanut

This literaly screams Khun. Nut is fully capable for coming and serving cunt, be silly and looking like he has lost his mind. Nut is quite older than Khun is supposed to be in the novel, but honestly, he looks younger and it actually doesn't mind, because Joong still can manage to look older/more mature which is the main point. (In the novel it's specifically said that people mix up Khun and Kinn, thinking that Kinn is the oldest sibling). I don't think anyone else could pull this role like Nut would.

KIM

The youngest brother of the main family. Our pick might feel controversial, but aging both Kim and Chay up felt as the best choice in order to be able to explore their relationship more. Even though it might not be the main choice for everyone, we picked Boun Noppanut

Yes, he is older than both Joong and Nut, but he can pass as younger than Joong (or at least around Joong's age) and in Nut's case it doesn't really matter because just like Kinn, Kim is supposed to appear older and more mature than Khun. He's an actor who can look both mysterious and kind. He definitely can portray both Kim and Wik. We know his range in impressive, because of how well he did in Between Us.

PORCHAY/CHAY

Talking about Chay, we decided to go easy with this one and give this one to

Prem Warut

Again, we are working with aged up version of Chay. And honestly, Prem has severe case of baby face, so him being older doesn't matter at all. I think Team and Chay are similar in many things and I guess that's why I can imagine him in the role. Prem is fully capable of delivering a cute innocent boy, just like the more emotional scenes.

VEGAS

Moving on the minor clan. The older son. Guy with a huge trauma, who deals with his issues in his own sick ways. Our pick ended up being

War Wanarat

Honestly, give this man a role and he will devour it. His range is incredible. If someone can pull the difficult persona that Vegas is, it's War. Again, he's a bit older (Vegas is younger than Khun), but I don't think it matters, since War looks way younger than he actually is. And you would only hardly find another actor fully capable of capturing every aspect of Vegas. PETE

Khun's head bodyguard and the only person who ever understood Vegas. It's more than obvious that we picked

Yin Anan Wong

Just from the way he portrayed Jack in Jack & Joker, it's obvious he can portray kind hearted guy who can look serious if needed. He is definitely capable of being silly for scenes with Khun, but has the range to do incredible job in serious scenes with Vegas. And him and War have the perfect chemistry to deliver this duo perfectly.

MACAU

For Macau we actually have couple of choices. He doesn't have much screen time, so our criteria was an actor who could be a cute little shit (that's how Dante called it).

Mark Siwat

Especially after his role of Arun in Jack & Joker, I know he would devour the role of spoiled rich kid.

Phuwin Tangsakyuen

Phuwin was Dante's first choice. I can't honestly comment that much since I haven't seen any of his dramas. The closest I got to his work was when I played Lifeweaver in Overwatch (a character he voiced). But he definitely looks the part. We also threw around names like Pond or Title. But as said earlier, it can be anyone who can be cute little shit. KORN

Khun, Kinn and Kim's dad, head of the main family. He's strict with Kinn and Kim, while he spoils Khun. We decided for

Plai Paramej

The sir who amazingly portrayed Joke's father in Jack & Joker. He can be strict and cold, but also portray kindness and warmness.

KANT/GUN (they changed his name for drama)

Korn's younger brother, head of the minor clan and father of Vegas and Macau. We picked

Beam Sarunyoo

He served as Boss and Kant/Gun is not far from that character. He can deliver the strict father, hating the main family and guy without mercy.

BIG

This was my first pick and Dante enthusiastically agreed. We decided that the role of Big can only go to

Victor Chatchawit/Victor Zheng

He was so good in Jack & Joker and I honestly fell for him. He can fight, he can be the tough guy, and I bet he could pull the protective instincts Big has towards Kinn (and maybe some other feelings too).

KEN

After some thoughts of who could be the little shit, guy hiding stuff and cocky asshole, we decided for

Neo Trai

(sorry not sorry for that pic)

Neo would devour this role. I would pay anything just to see him act out the "nice one, loser" scene. From his role of Boston in Only Friends, I think it's clear, he can give us perfect Ken.

TIME AND TAY

The two friends of Kinn. They are dating, but their relationship is full of struggles, yet somehow it works. (at least that's how it is in the novel). We went with

Fort Thitipong (Time) and Peat Wasuthorn (Tay)

Honestly, they are there just to hang out with Kinn and sass him when he acts out. These two are perfect for it.

TEM AND JOM

The two friends of Porsche. They hang out with him, drink with him and always have his back.

We went with

Noeul Nuttarat (Tem) and Mark Pakin (Jom)

Honestly, nothing to explain. Amazing actors, who can support Porsche as amazing friends, but also joke around with him and help him anytime he needs them.

POL AND ARM

The two Khun's bodyguards who are often victims of his shenanigans.

We decided to give these roles to

Michael Kiettisak (Arm) and Pon Thanapon (Pol)

Again, no further explanation needed. These two are amazing and definitely wouldn't mind being part of silly scenes.

YOK

Owner of the bar Porsche works in. She always helps Porsche and is like his older sister. She's kind and understanding. But also funny lady.

There is only one person perfect for this role

Jennie Panhan

She's incredible, she serves and she would own this role. Period.

TAWAN

Kinn's ex, he wants to get his revenge on Kinn so he goes over to Vegas and gets close to him. However his plan backfires.

We did this for jokes and giggles. So

Nine Kornchid

Honestly this choice happened just because Dante asked: "Who would be Joong's ex?" and I replied with "We could do the funniest shit and cast Nine ... lowkey literally Joong's ex". And so here is Nine.

That's it for now. There is definitely many more characters, but this is all we created.

Again, this is our personal opinion and it was only done for fun.

My dumbass only just realized that the people who haven't read the novel spoilers probably really believe that Charlie is dead (for all I know he could actually be dead because they changed something, but it's highly unlikely). I feel so thankful I decided to check out the spoilers because holy fuck I would not have survived if I thought Charlie was actually dead. Like, goddam, they really went with the (not actually) major character death, didn't they. Ok so I'm going to skip day 22 cause I'm too much of a newbie to know who's considered a rookie actor and who a veteran 😭

On to:

Day 23: Most disappointing ending to a series?

I gotta prefix this by saying that I don't think I was too disappointed by any BL show I've watched so far which is surprising to me as well!

But some of these shows could have wrapped up the show a bit better in my opinion.

Spoilers ahead for the following: The Sign, I Feel You Linger In The Air, Kinnporsche, Pit Babe

The Sign

I loved this show a great deal. And maybe this is part of the reason why I wanted the ending to have a bit more standing than what it had.

Now the show itself had a bit of a pacing problem trying to navigate between each case and the romance but I didn't mind until the very end. Tharn got separated from Phaya and it was very excruciating and heartbreaking watching Phaya grieving for his lost soulmate. Truly (my tears are proof).

But in the next five minutes or so Tharn comes back magically out of thin air. Nothing gets explained and the viewer stays perplexed at the heavy feelings that were just thrown at him like a boulder to hold. The whiplash was too severe to feel happy so I got disappointed instead.

I Feel You Linger In The Air

Just like the previous show this one had so much potential for a heartbreaking ending and to me it fell flat. Now I can't fault the screenwriters too much since it's based on the novel but I wish the ending was different. Again my tears were for naught when I realised Jom went back to the past again. I know they're supposed to be fated in every universe and all but I think it would make more impact if he hadn't. Still I want to see more so I'm not complaining!

Kinnporsche

For obvious reasons I once again can't fault the screenwriters.

Kinnporsche leading the family makes no sense to me. There I said it. Call me a minor family's lackey or worse slut (only affectionately plz) but if we want to accept that Vegas survives he would never accept that reality. That could create a season 2 but since we don't have anymore let me complain.

I felt a bit confused by the ending. It felt a bit rushed with lots of lore to explore and explain but this is why season 2 is happening?? Hopefully. Fingers crossed 🤞

Bad bitches that have me in a chokehold.

My memory is a bit fucked, but these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head right now.

Tan/New (DFF)

Everything started with his brother disappearing and ended with him torturing the people responsible with their worst fears and deepest secrets. All the while having a backup plan knowing his closest ally would turn on him. New is no dumbass. He's a determined, prepared, avenging manipulator. And this bad bitch was determined to avenge his brother (and his own suffering) even if it killed him. I don't know about you, but I love a man who knows what he wants.

Todd (Not Me)

On the topic of manipulation... This prince charming put his lover (you can't convince me they weren't) into a coma while manipulating his lover's twin brother to join a gang whose mission is to take down the man who stands in the way of making Todd the king of Thailand's business world. Master manipulator at its finest (and he's fine as fuck). What's not to love?

Black (Not Me)

He was put into a coma by his lover (again, you can't convince me they weren't) and paid back in the same coin because this bitch is petty as fuck. And I love him for it.

Ai Di (Kiseki: Dear to Me)

This colorful and feisty little shit had me in a chokehold from the first moment I saw him. He runs head-first into fights, can kick ass (and do), and is often manhandled by his "adoptive" brother/best friend/crush while kicking and screaming. And let's not forget he's petty and admits it.

Vegas (KinnPorsche)

This bitch with daddy issues is a walking, talking toxic issue from start to finish in KinnPorsche. He drugged Porsche to assault him (and get under his cousin's skin), killed Tawan whom he only hooked up with to take down his cousin, captured and tortured Pete only to fuck him when the pet hedgehog died, not to forget he sat in Tankhun's seat at the dinner table (I mean, where are his fucking manners? lol)... And this is just a summary. But it's also because of all of this that Vegas is my favorite character in KinnPorsche.

Boston (Only Friends)

He's a slut. That's it. He doesn't need more context. Give me a slut, and a toxic one at that, and I'll love them forever. I know, I've got issues... But so does Boston, which is why I love him.

And the most recent bad bitch to come into my life…

Ming (My Stand-In)

It's too soon for me to say anything substantial about Ming (since only one episode is out and I haven't read the novel). BUT. It took less than an hour for this man to grab me by the throat... and I let him. It took him less than an hour to claim ownership of my soul... and I let him (I even begged him to during the scene in the gif above). This man is trouble. And I love trouble. I won't defend his actions, but I will love him.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I need this bad bitch to break Joe’s heart into a million little pieces (because we all know it’s happening anyway). I need him to be toxic. I need him to be a problem. I need him to the THE PROBLEM.

And when he realizes what he's done, I need him to pay for it by crawling through hell, only to beg on his knees for forgiveness when he realizes Joe is back, and then pay with his own blood when he tries his utmost to stitch Joe’s heart back together. Just give me the pain!

I love every single one of these characters. And I love that I love them.

I know, it’s a me-problem. But at least I'm aware of it.

I’m sure I’ll remember more characters that have me in a chokehold as soon as I hit publish on this. But, at least this is a start for now.

I am sooo excited for Spare me your Mercy! I am tempted to get the novel. Did you read it? I usually don’t have a problem with spoilers only when the source material it terrible, like Kinnporsche. If you read it did you enjoy it?

Spare Me Your Mercy is actually my favourite of Sammon's novels. I love the depth of the characters and the mystery/dilemma surrounding the murders. Even Dr Bun makes an appearance. It's not nearly as dramatic and spicy as Kinnporsche though. It's at its core a (dark and somewhat philosophical - mostly because euthanasia is discussed in depth) medical crime drama in which the main characters end up together.

I was a bit lukewarm on the side couple though, but I'm sure the series will change that.

Plus, the novel comes with a sequel so if the series does well we might get that too? 🤞

Unsatisfied as I imagine Because clearly Korn was lying to everybody and he still won in the end and in my bl experience we won't ever get a second season and of we is gonna to be bad, plus the novel seems like a disaster considering the spoilers I got from it (but if anybody that read the novel want to tell me what Happened to Korn there and Porsche moms secret let me know)

Honestly, Porsche is to dumb to be the leader of the second family too, I feel like this is just bringing disaster for them. Like he just completely ignored that Korn shot gun when he was about to say something important?

In other notes I do love so many scenes in the last episode the tension was well built and we got good comedy breaks in the middle which work perfectly on this show. Kim was killing in the bar scene. Plus so many of the guards rock.

VegasPete +Macau scene in the end scene warm my heart, I feel like they got the happiest ending between all of them (like I said KinnPorsche ending gives a bittersweet feeling because I can see the disaster coming). KimChay is a work in progress.

The KinnPorsche Novel Ending

I started this out with the goal of summarizing the final chapter of the novel (Chapter 44) and the special ending, but while rereading, I remembered that it's terrible and jampacked with information. So, instead, this is a collection of important moments and information from the novel that may or may not become relevant in the series finale. I wish I could include pictures/gifs, but as this is speculating what will happen in an unreleased episode, I can't. Beware of clicking Keep reading--MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD.

Final Chapter

Chapter 44 is a MESS. It's the final showdown and then some, interspersed with way too many confusing flashbacks. I could not recommend reading it less. Please remember that the novel is quite different from the series, so I cannot guarantee how much of this will actually show up in the series. I've split this into two parts--things that may or may not stay in the series, and things that I think probably will.

Some quick info--Porsche's parents are named Honey (Namphueng, his mother) and Phat (his father). I'll be spelling Vegas' dad's name as Kan. Korn and Kan's father is named Agong.

Parts that may or may not be relevant in the series (in chronological order of mention):

Kinn reveals to Porsche that Vegas is the one that drugged him.

Honey's final wish was that Athi raise Porsche and Chay away from the mafia.

Kinn did not kill Athi.

For the final showdown, the main family planned to surprise the second family and take them down once and for all, but the second family caught wind of the plan and launched an attack instead.

When Kinn is about to kill Vegas during the showdown, Pete tackles Vegas out of the way and begins to punch him nonstop, and Vegas does not fight back (I want this part to stay lol).

Honey's corpse is perfectly preserved in a greenhouse on Agong's property.

Korn kills Kan and promises to look after Vegas and Macau (putting this in the may not category because I hope Vegas kills Kan sdfkjshks).

Vegas flees after his father dies, and is involved in a car crash. He enters a coma for about a month, during which Pete stays by his hospital bed and cares for Macau.

Major facts/moments that I predict will remain in the series:

Honey was ADOPTED. Agong and his wife wanted a girl, so they adopted her. Porsche and Chay are not biologically related to the Theerapanyakuls. Honey was very different from her brothers.

Porsche's father was murdered during a spat over Honey cutting ties with the Theerapanyakuls.

Kan was secretly in love with Honey. Korn may or may not have also been in love with her--it's unclear.

Korn and Kan both accuse each other of killing Porsche's father. The final verdict is that Kan pulled the trigger.

A week or so after Phat's death, Kan raped Honey. Soon after, she killed herself via pills.

After Vegas runs away, Pete removes his bodyguard pin and gives it to Korn, resigning from the main family. He then runs after Vegas.

The very end of the novel depicts Korn and Chan sitting in Korn's room. Korn mentions that Agong taught him that "love doesn't measure up to strength". Chan points out that Kinn is still strong. Korn tells him that Kim is the strongest.

A quick bit of bonus information: Korn, Kan, and Honey had another brother (another biological son). He's never mentioned until Chapter 43. He may or may not be dead? Or in Switzerland. If he's mentioned in the series as alive, he'll likely have more prominence in the second season.

Special Ending

There are two endings for KinnPorsche. Why? I have no idea!! I'm like 93% sure that the special ending is also canon, so I'm including it in this post. There's some pretty major stuff here. This won't be split into two categories because all of it confuses the hell out of me.

Vegas signs away several businesses and casinos from the second family. It is tradition that when conflict arises within the Theerapanyakul family, the winning side will take whatever they want from the losing side.

Pete reestablishes that he has chosen Vegas.

Korn reminisces about Honey with Tankhun, Kinn, and Porsche. He reveals that she named Tankhun, and that Kinn and Porsche used to play together. Korn gives Kinn the ring of the head of the main family, and Porsche the ring of the head of the second family.

Korn brings Kim to a warehouse that houses the headquarters for a secret organization the Korn established to counterbalance the Theerapanyakuls and their competitors to ensure that he could maintain control. He institutes Kim as the leader and wonders who will come out stronger--Kinn with the main family or Kim with the secret organization (because Korn is an asshole that pits his kids against each other just like Agong did).

The end of the special ending is especially confusing. Vegas and Porsche sit together on an abandoned port and Vegas assures Porsche that whatever they're doing (it's unclear) is not going to hurt/betray Kinn. Porsche voices his distrust in Korn. They encounter several former subordinates of the minor family, who pledge their loyalty to Vegas. Porsche says that they now "have more manpower". My main theory is that they're working together to take down/unmask Korn? But idk for sure.

Moral of the story is that Korn is a lying piece of shit and I trust him about as far as I can throw him. And if you're even more confused after reading all this... me too. Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts in comments/asks. I'll try to answer the questions I can, but these endings are REALLY confusing.

I don't like many VP scenes from the novel but one I do hope they incorporate is Vegas emotional and humiliated, rampaging into the room after his father beats him, becoming angry and embarrassed when he sees Pete staring at him in such a dismantled state. Then Pete touches a bruise on Vegas' face and asks 'Does it hurt?', and Vegas immediately loses the anger directed at Pete, more out of shock than anything.

idk I really loved Pete's internal realization in that scene that Vegas is actually just very sad and pathetic, and I loved Vegas' shock at receiving even the simplest act of tenderness. That's why I'm more hoping for this type of interaction rather than one in which Pete goads him for being such a failure that his father has to beat him, although that might be interesting too.

VegasPete Novel Spoilers Speculation

Ok! (Sorry I had to figure out how to add the read more from the mobile app in order to accomplish this and I’m just very thrilled that I figured it out)

I keep thinking about how I’m 90 percent certain there is no Nop in the show and that Vegas is no longer a university student (honestly neither is Porsche, why did they keep it in that he was??).

These two things Nop, as a character and Vegas’ school, are both instrumental in breaking Pete out of the play that he is performing with Vegas and prompts his breakdown. Without Nop sewing distrust and discord and without the freshman as a focal point, what is Pete’s catalyst?

Pete’s catalyst in the show could be Porsche.

The show has spent a great deal of time pushing this Vegas seducing/falling in love with Porsche storyline, which obviously is also there in the novel, but I still think they’ve taken time to really emphasize it and for Pete to witness it.

I always thought the college “nong” was kind of a flimsy excuse for jealousy on Pete’s part anyway. If Pete is “acting” it just seemed silly for him to be taken apart so quickly, by one of Vegas college classmates texting him.

But I know (and we even get a glimpse of this in the novel) that Pete would be devastated to realize he was feeling jealous of Porsche. Porsche, his best friend, the reason he even stepped into the Minor House in the first place, when he knew he couldn’t succeed, to be jealous of him? To let this thing that had grown up between him and Vegas to start to hurt his relationship with Porsche?

That’s a reason to fall apart after fighting for so long. And it’s a real threat in a way that the college classmate never was, because Vegas did really want Porsche. And Pete watched Vegas pursue Porsche.

However you feel about what Vegas “feelings” towards Porsche were, I think it’s hard to argue that Vegas wasn’t attracted to Porsche, even if you feel Vegas had no real “feelings” for him.

It would be easy and shattering for Pete to see a text or video that showed Vegas still in contact with Porsche. It would also be a good way to emphasize Pete’s feelings of inadequacy, part of what Pete receives from Vegas that he hadn’t had before is the feeling of being special and desired.

Pete considers himself fairly average and, at least in the novel, lacking compared to the Theerapkyul family including Porsche. But Vegas calls him lovely and devotes all of his attention on Pete. The thought of Vegas still wanting Porsche, that Vegas is settling for Pete, because Pete is convenient. That Vegas wouldn’t treat Porsche the way he’s been treating Pete.

That is a something, that I think, is capable of ripping Pete out of the make believe world he has created for Vegas and back into reality where Pete has allowed himself to fall under Vegas spell and to actually believe that Vegas loved him.

It would also be a lot harder for Vegas to combat.

It would also be more devastating for Vegas, because Vegas knows exactly how it feels to be second best and to think that Vegas has made Pete feel that way? Vegas will be undone. They both will.

Big just cannot win. First he gets shot protecting Kinn. Then he gets replaced by Porsche. Then Kinn starts liking Porsche. He gets sent to Kim, who makes fun of him for his crush on Kinn and tells him not to be around (which how is he supposed to do his job??). He gets called homophobic by Porsche. Then Kinn decides to replace Porsche with KEN instead of giving Big his job back even though he seems to be back to 100% (although I’m not sure Big or Ken know about this). And then he gets shot at and crashes his bike, unable to save Kinn.

you’ve heard of pete being ready to risk his life and sacrifice himself to prove porsche is innocent, now imma need:

porsche being worried sick for pete since he didn’t come back from the minor family’s house

porsche giving pete the biggest hug once pete does come back

porsche noticing something is off with pete and trying to talk to him about it

I really can’t get over about how much Vegas and Pete love each other in the novel and I beg the writers of the show to give it to me on screen too!

Something that has bugged me but came to me. Someone rightly said that it's likely that Pete knew about what happened in the hotel room and he was just being kind not mentioning it.

Pete doesn't know but the point still stands. Someone would have had to erase that footage or confiscate it and that would have been someone who is good with IT. Arm. If Arm viewed the footage, he would be the only one who knows - but I doubt he would have looked out of respect for his employer - and he also strikes me as someone who wouldn't say anything unless Porsche came to him first. He was there with Pete, trying to take care of Porsche, untying his hands, unfortunately getting puked on. He wouldn't betray Kinn, not in the slightest, but he wouldn't throw Porsche under the bus and tell anyone what happened.

Sorry but it really was percolating in my mind because I also think that if Pete knew, really knew, he wouldn't have let Porsche suffer. He tries to give a like for like experience (or what he thinks it is) because he doesn't want Porsche to feel bad about getting a telling off.

All is right in the world, Pete is the best. Arm is the best. We love the bodyguard squad.

I would have expected Vegas to set up recording equipment as per his MO in the novel. Arm wouldn't have had a chance to do a sweep because Kinn was like get out, so he would have had to do it in the morning to make sure there was nothing to go back for.
