A Gallery of Ancient Egyptian Monarchs & Nobility
The monarchs and nobility were at the top of the social structure in ancient Egypt and were supposed to serve as role models for the rest of the people concerning the will of the gods and one’s proper response to their many blessings. The king (or queen) set the standard which others were to emulate.
Not all the members of the upper-class lived up to this responsibility but were idealized as doing so in the artwork they commissioned and so were depicted as paragons of virtue, no matter how they had actually conducted themselves. This paradigm held, not only for the nobility, but for the lower classes in that statuary of servants and peasant farmers present the same ideal vision: how one was supposed to be, not necessarily how they were, although aspects of the physical depictions – such as facial features – are understood as accurate representations.
The social hierarchy in ancient Egypt descended from top to bottom:
Monarch (king or queen, only known as pharaoh beginning with the New Kingdom, c. 1570 - c. 1069 BCE)
Vizier
Members of the Court
Priests and Scribes
Regional Governors
Military Officers (generals, especially, after the New Kingdom)
Artists and Artisans
Merchants
Government Overseers and Supervisors
Peasant Farmers and Servants
Slaves
Although some social positions, like that of merchants, went up or down during different periods, the social structure remained more or less rigidly along these lines from the Early Dynastic Period (c. 3150 -c. 2613 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Period (323-30 BCE). The following gallery presents a sampling of the images of many of the best-known and some lesser-known members of the Egyptian upper-class.

Going back to the MCD rewrite for a bit
The Story of The Phoenix
Irene was married to the Hollow King, chosen from a crowd of noble women to be Queen of the ancient kingdom that once occupied north-west Ru'aun.
The marriage wasn't overly affectionate or healthy, but it was amicable. They were friends, co-workers, running the Kingdom together. Irene gave the King one child, a son she later entrusted to her head guard, Xavier, to raise when the Hollow King started losing his mind to the Void corruption.
Xavier travelled south across Ru'aun into werewolf territory to keep the boy safe from the war between his mother and father. He was six when they left, eight when Xavier began teaching him to fight, protect himself, hunt and forage, then eighteen when it was finally safe enough to return to the north.
Stories of the Divine Warriors began circulating after a few years, tales of people with god-like Magicks, fighting off the destruction the Void and Hollow King were causing. Wild stories of undead soldiers being fended away by a woman who shone brighter than the sun itself.
Xavier found it hard to believe, until the boy was fifteen. The monsters, undead beasts shrouded in darkness, limbs stained red and glistening, slick with viscera of the recently dead. Xavier fought them back for days with the other soldiers of the magi village they had called home for the last nine years.
The boy got involved in the fighting, against his guardian's wishes, getting cornered for his resemblance to Irene. Having raven hair and golden eyes just like his mother. The Primal Knights cornered him, holding Xavier down, forcing him to watch as they closed in, raising their weapons, ready to kill the boy he had raised as a sone for almost a decade.
A flash of silver cut the arm off the nearest Knight. A golden burst of light- a lion made of glowing golden wisps lunged for another. Tendrils of purple shadow tore away the three holding Xavier down, and a burst of vivid red fire crashed into another.
The Divine Warriors descended on the Knights like locusts, picking off and making very short work against the invading dark forces. Irene herself arrived like a comet, tearing through the Knights, enveloped in light, bright and beautiful as the blazing sun.
Xavier almost didn't recognise her. But he could never forget those eyes.
He was amazed by the power his friends had acquired, seeking answers from Irene as she dealt with the last of the Knights. The wings on her back, spear in her hand, and light that shone from the runes across her arms and face, he needed to know what it was.
Even regular Magick was something feared in many of the small villages, and this- this was something else entirely.
Irene brushed him off, though. Assured him that she would be fine, leaving him behind to continue caring for the boy. Promised that she'd explain another time.
Before leaving, she gave Xavier a small blessing, along with Menphia, giving him Magick to control fire, to protect the village should the Knights return.
It took three years and seventeen more attacks before Xavier heard from his Queen again. He used the fire gifted to him to protect the village and his boy, the Prince, from the corruption. Earning himself the nickname The Phoenix as he fought battle after battle, bringing down the Hollow King's forces.
Until one day, in the middle of a raid, the Knights' eyes dimmed, and they fell, inanimate corpses once again. Two days after, a letter arrived for The Phoenix from the capital of the ancient kingdom. The Hollow King was dead, the Void had receded, and the Divine Warriors had won.
Xavier returned to O'khasis with his boy. Irene was the Lord of the city, denouncing the title of monarch and creating the system of individual Lordship that is still in place by the time of Avira(Aphmau, changing her name).
He returned to his position as head guard of O'khasis, soon creating the Jury of Nine when the amount of fans, assassins, suitors and general popularity became too much for Irene and the Divine Warriors to handle. Kul'zak gave up his position on the O'khasian council and disappeared from the map because of it.
When Noctis snapped, taken by the corruption, Xavier the Phoenix fought alongside his Lady, sending the boy, his boy, away with the protection of the Jury to the east of the region, as far away from the fighting as he could possibly get.
The Prince travelled for months, fighting off Shadow Knights, defending villages and rallying the people to fight. Helping more rural towns to organise, mediating disputes and electing officials to keep the towns organised and peaceful.
He settled on the east coast in the company of the jurors and his followers. Establishing a settlement on the coast while his mother and Dad were fighting their former friend on the opposite side of the region.
The word came on his thirtieth birthday. He held his own son in his arms, his wife at his side as he read the letter from Esmund- The Empty was dead, O'khasis was safe. The Matron, Lady Irene, had fallen in the combat, and Xavier was gravely wounded.
The Prince brought his family to his Dad's side one final time, the Jury of Nine returning to their rightful place in O'khasis. Xavier passed away with his boy and his guards at his side, and the Prince returned to his home on the east coast.
He named his village Phoenix Cove (later Phoenix Drop), in honour of the man who raised him, who was willing time and time again to give up his life for a boy that wasn't his, but who he loved as a son regardless.

the forthcoming war attacks from Markle and Harry via the minion Scobie.... by u/ElectricalAd9212
the forthcoming war attacks from Markle and Harry via the minion Scobie.... So the never ending holy war from the throbbing skull of Markle and her simp, via the creepy minion Scobie takes place 4 years after their exit from the royal family and less than a year since the two supposed nuclear bombs they dropped via Netflix and Spare.Instead of bringing the royal family and Britain to its knees, the nuclear bombs strengthened the royal family, like how radioactive spider bite turned Peter Parker into an amazing superhero, and left Markle and Harry loathed and ridiculed and eviscerated. Now comes 'Endgame' from the creepy weirdo. The strategy was that Netflix and Spare would destroy the royal family. There would be a populist uprising in Britain, with left wing media cultists of Markle leading the way. Riding the 'social justice' wave, they would be acclaimed as victims and the true lights of the monarchy, and King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine would be bending the knee to Markle and Harry in response. So this book 'Endgame', was supposed to be the final (metaphorical) bullet to the head of the Monarchy, and the final clearing of the pathway to Markle and Harry receiving the cosmic justice and divine rights they demanded from the start, of all the demands they made of Queen Elizabeth, to be anointed as equals to William and Catherine, in and out, receiving everything, permanent monarch level security paid for by the British people, changes in parliament to freedome of speech laws in order to protect Markle, money for their demands, plum roles in glamorous royal occasions, and total freedom to merchandise their royal titles to make Markle rich. That is why it was called 'Endgame'. Scobie imagined he would be returning to Buckingham Palace as their right hand man, their liege and aide. How they imagined their triumphant return! The House of Windsor a smouldering wreck, as Markle is bowed down to, and Harry smirks as William apologises to him publicly, and Princess Diana in Heaven smiles upon Markle as Catherine kisses her hand, and Scobie is back to his rightful place as the convenor of Chanel, Dior, Prada, Versace and Cartier and their gifts to his Queen.Instead, this grotesque cabal of grifters are humiliated, loathed, desperate, and exposed. The world faces war, danger, fear, inflation, economic turmoil, and they act like the world shall listen to the pleas of these hoaxing self pitying liars and think they are victims to be cared for.Little did they know as they sneered smugly about calling the book 'Endgame' that they would be coining the name of the epitaph of their schemes and malevolence.God Save the King, God Bless America! post link: https://ift.tt/3xFOEDl author: ElectricalAd9212 submitted: October 31, 2023 at 08:41PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit

September 4th 1241 King Alexander III was born at Roxburgh.
Alexander crops up quite a number of times for us due to hi death triggering the Wars of Independence.
He came to the throne at the young age of eight and was crowned at Scone on 13th July, 1249, during that time factions vied with each other for control of Scotland so it was a fractious he came to rule. He married Margaret of England, daughter of Henry III, he was 10, she was 11 nut even at that young age he must have been pretty astute and knew his loyalties lay with Scotland. At the wedding King Henry is said to have asked him to pay homage, he was eager to gain the upper hand and assert England's overlordship of Scotland, The young Alexander is reported to have avoided this by stating that he came in peace.
One of the main things Alexander did for Scotland was exerting our rights to take the Hebrides back from Norway, the wiley King entered into negotiations with King Haakon until auttumn gales diminished the Scandinavians fleet that lay in the Firth of Clyde, Alexander seized the chance and defeated them in The Battle of Largs. Haakon died on his way home and his successor Magnus negotiated a treaty which saw Alexander's daughter, Margaret marry his son the future Eric II of Norway. This led to the Hebrides and The Isle of Man being ceded to Scotland.
So when thinking of Alexander III we should remember him for things other than being the catalysts for years of war with England.
The picture shows Coronation of King Alexander on Moot Hill, Scone. He is being greeted by the ollamh rígh Alban, the royal poet of Scotland, who is addressing him with the proclamation "Benach De Re Albanne" Beannachd Dé Rígh Albanaich - "God Bless the King of Scots"); the poet goes on to recite Alexander's genealogy. Malcolm II, Earl of Fife, depicted holding the sword standing beside King Alexander. (Albannaich is the plural form of Albannach, "Scot" or "Scotsman" and refers to the Scots collectively [as a nation]. The unique title of the Scots monarchs has long been "King of Scots" rather than "of Scotland" as opposed to the monarchs of England and other countries, who are titled "King or Queen of England" etc..
This style is ancient, and reflects the Gaelic tradition of the chief as "father" of his "clann" . As the monarch is the "Chief of Chiefs" he or she is the "father" or "mother" of the people, not merely the ruler of the land.)

Name: Dark Shadow Milk Cookie (Real name Erebus Dragoroyal).
Occupation: Defender
He is the eldest son and child among his siblings like shadow milk cookie, white cacao cookie (female), jasmine light cookie (female)and Huang cookie (male).
Parents: Dark dragon cacao cookie (Father) and Blizzard Queen Cookie ( real name Blizzard Dragoroyal) (Mother).
Personality: He is the opposite of his counterpart of light, isn't ball of sun shine nor happiness, he gives an aura of coldness power and terror which may scare away anyone from him. He is quite reserved cold, cunning, manipulative and mute type of cookie. In his point of view, it's better to be quiet rather than splitting nonsense from the tongue, so he reserved to be quiet. He is a fearsome beast and villain Infront of his enemies but a cute kitten Infront of his family and friends. In secret he is actually a big nerd for books and knowledge, loves to discover new information and investigate new phenomenon. He deeply loved his mother and father but often remain quiet saddened because his mother fears and hates clowns and jesters.
Married: Yes! To Starlight star cookie.
Ruler, king, husband of Starlight star cookie and monarch of Starlight Star kingdom.
Another info is that his personality is exactly like his father, doesn't know how to crack a joke nor lift up the gloomy atmosphere, heck he doesn't know how to smile or laugh. If he smiles oh god may bless your soul, his smile may instantly kills you even the devil may cry. If he is winning, he would laugh like a maniac thrilled that his enemy is begging for mercy sometimes becomes a sadistic cookie and wide smile may result to ripping of his cheeks to gave a horrifying image and smile.

Oh I just had a thought about Danzo in GOS. Specifically relating to the Mad King in Rogue Gai's time.
What if the Mad King's patron god is not Kakazu, but Danzo? The Mad king. By definition, seems to be a step past even Kakazu's level of obsession with wealth and status, and has fallen into complete delusional grandor. This works especially if his parents were not good people, maybe falling off the wagon a little. But still respected the other gods, Hiroki's advice, and the last prophetic warnings of King Akihito centuries ago. They may have sucked as rulers and people, but they wern't completely evil.
But their son was an entirely different kind of beast. He was more violent, narcissistic, cruel and obsessive than any other monarch before him. And he was taking all his rage and entitlements out on the staff, his family, their people... no one was safe from him. He was completely out of control. Maybe that's why the king and queen of the time sent word for Hiroki. Their son had never been sick in his life, so they never needed to ask for his help before, but with how he was acting... maybe they thought he could reign their son in like he had so many royals in the past. But then the accident happened and Hiroki died before ever meeting the mad prince. (Though with circumstances as it was... maybe it wasn't an accident. And the Mad King slipped in one of his own personal men to go get Hiroki and start the fight/ try and kill him. Maybe being a royal, he had inside knowledge about the hair clip...)
And maybe the prince had been blessed with excellent health, but by the wrong god. Maybe Danzo had promised the mad prince eternall health and youth... if he paid the right price. Centuries of Kakazu's bad influence upon the royal family may have weakened the seals, even with Hiroki's guidance, and now gave him a direct connection with a king. Who agreed to all the god's commands, in return for the power he promised.
So when Hiroki dies, the mad king takes control of the chaos and his grieving family... he ends up murdering his mother and father while they are distracted to inheritthe crown. With his new found power, ends up killing every other extended member of his royal family in secret, so no one can oppose his reign. To the rest of the kingdom, it's a "plague." But in reality the Mad King is ritually sacrificing members of his own family to Danzo. Trying to weaken the seal. When that doesn't work, he starts using his people. Taking down anyone who "opposes" him, and sacrifing them to Danzo. This includes anyone who even slightly critisizes him. Who tries to help others he targeted. Families of people he kills. In the end, no one in Tonika is safe.
Next he starts tearing down the temples of gods. He specifically targets Kakashi's temples first to make it still seem like this is Kakazu's doing. And maybe to an extent Kakazu THINKS that's what's happening too... But it won't be the only temple the king destroys. He's doing this to try and stiffen power from the other gods and channeling it back to Danzo. Everything the mad king does is for himself and Danzo. He'll keep doing this until there is no one left to oppose them. Not when the gods have been ordered/ agreed to not "interfere" too much with human affairs. Not while the king has systematically and violently removed and repressed anyone who could rise up and oppose him.
They appear unstoppable after a while. The God of Madness and the Mad King who serves him... But little did they know, by creating so much evil and havok in Tonika, they also created an opportunity for a hero to arise, with the sole purpose to oppose them, and take them down. One that had been born again and again. The Dragon Warrior of old. He than bore a son who had the power to defy destiny. (Based on that one post of Neji looking intonLee's future a few times, and Lee managing to avoid the bad ends he forsaw). And in the end, they ended up taking the Mad King down, along with Danzo's hope of ever being released any time soon. All with the help of a little devine help from some of the most selfless gods to ever exist. (Thanks Yamato and Kakashi.)
What do you think?
So I will say, no one has to hide behind Kakuzu if they're destroying Kakashi's temples. Danzo also hates him so while he'd still want to be kept in the dark until his release, he also doesn't mind if there's whispers about the destruction being his influence
because yes Kakashi and Kakuzu do hate each other, but they leave each others temples alone for some important reasons.
Kakuzu still see's the money that can be earned/stolen if Kakashi's temple is getting sacrifices and attention. people still pay for the items they sacrifice and the ability to be close to the temple and Kakuzu doesn't turn down money of any kind.
Kakashi is kind hearted so while he hates Kakuzu he would never tear down the temple. There's also the fact that he does recognize that even the good can have a hint of greed in their hearts, so to take away that temple would be cruel to those who are otherwise kind (he has a flaw and it's seeing too much good in people. we're keeping it)
As for Hiroki, I do prefer to keep that as being an accident, but it's very possible that rumour could spread that the mad king had planned it (think of Thomas becket. King Henry II isn't believed to have intentionally ordered his death, but his words were interpreted by his knights as meaning 'kill him')
The mad king would also have a rather slow decent into his 'madness', because if it happens too fast people might try to stop it. Danzo would be orchestrating everything from the background careful not to alert the gods because if they realize what he's doing they WILL interfere. So Kakuzu has to be the cover because even he will interfere, and not just because Danzo is messing with his royal family that he worked so hard to manipulate and control.
I love the idea of him almost succeeding too, only for the mad king to be defeated just before he can be released and putting an end to Danzo's plans. Also kinda like the idea of Kakashi realizing what's going on when it's just about to happen and pushing Lee to act now because he knows they're running out of time. he does think about telling Hashirama, but if he can have a mortal defeat the mad king and prevent Danzo's release he will
it's the biggest insult to Danzo, and Kakashi does love a good insult to Danzo XD

Coronation of the Queen Consort
This is the only description I can find of the coronation of the last Queen Consort, Queen Elizabeth, known after the death of her husband as the Queen Mother.
Tumblr media
Tis is from the Royal Gazette, https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/34453/supplement/7073
Comparing this to the description of the coronation of Queen Camilla, as per https://www.churchofengland.org/coronation/liturgy, I notice the following (see under the cut):
A There is no mention of Camilla leaving her chair and crossing to the altar to kneel and be crowned, as Queen Elizabeth did. Instead, I assume that Camilla will be crowned sitting in her chair, similarly to how the King is crowned sitting on St Edward's Chair (the throne with the Stone of Destiny in it).
B There is no mention of Camilla paying homage to the King, as Queen Elizabeth did to her husband King George VI and Prince Philip did to his wife Queen Elizabeth II. This implies that King Charles and Queen Camilla are of equal rank.
C When the Archbishop hands the Rod and Sceptre to Camilla, instead of saying a prayer, as was done for Queen Elizabeth, he says: Receive the Royal Sceptre and the Rod of equity and mercy. May the Spirit guide you in wisdom and grace, that by your service and ministry, justice and mercy may be seen in all the earth.
which is similar, but not identical, to what is said to the King when he receives the Rod and Sceptre:
Receive the Royal Sceptre, the ensign of kingly power and justice; and the Rod of equity and mercy, a symbol of covenant and peace.
May the Spirit of the Lord which anointed Jesus at his baptism, so anoint you this day, that you might exercise authority with wisdom, and direct your counsels with grace; that by your service and ministry to all your people, justice and mercy may be seen in all the earth: through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
D I don't know what words were said when Queen Elizabeth received her ring. Camilla gets hers with the words:
Receive this Ring, a symbol of royal dignity, and a sign of the covenant sworn this day.
and Charles was given his with the words:
Receive this Ring, a symbol of kingly dignity, and a sign of the covenant sworn this day between God and King, King and people.
Again, these are very similar words, but as I said, I don't know what was said to Queen Elizabeth (or to King George), so I don't know if these similarities are usual or not.
E Again, I don't know what words were said when Queen Elizabeth received her crown. Camilla gets hers with this prayer:
May thy servant Camilla, who wears this crown, be filled by thine abundant grace and with all princely virtues; reign in her heart, O King of love, that, being certain of thy protection, she may be crowned with thy gracious favour; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is the Prayer of Blessing said when Charles is crowned:
King of kings and Lord of lords, bless, we beseech thee, this Crown, and so sanctify thy servant Charles upon whose head this day thou dost place it for a sign of royal majesty, that he may be crowned with thy gracious favour and filled with abundant grace and all princely virtues; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee and the Holy Spirit liveth and reigneth, supreme over all things, one God, world without end.
Again, notice the similar words, especially the use of 'princely virtues', something that I believe is used of the monarch and no other person (AFAIK).
The similar wording of all the prayers may be traditional. I don't know. I don't have a written version of exactly what was said at the last coronation of a Queen Consort to compare the two.
At this point in time there are enough similarities between the two coronations, with no indication of Camilla's lower rank (being crowned kneeling at the altar, paying homage to the King), that I am wondering what is meant to be made of all this.
I may be worrying over nothing. On the day, it may be perfectly clear that Charles is the King and Camilla is his consort, not his equal in rank.

The Prince and the Spire
The current ruling House has a long and bloody history.
Reginald braced his hands against the parapet wall of the tallest tower and looked out over the capital city. Below, soldiers wearing the five-petaled white rose that was his house's emblem moved through the nearly deserted streets and a pall of smoke hung over the East End.
He wrinkled his nose; the stench of burning reached even here. It was no great loss, at least. The East End was a warren of slums and gin shops. The fire would allow for a fresh start and nothing of worth had been lost.
From here, he could see the curtain wall that had once encircled the city before it had outgrown it, like a child growing too tall for their tunic. It had been built by an earlier dynasty, one that now was relegated to history. The entire line had been extinguished and his House and his cousins' House had spent decades fighting over the scraps before his grandfather had been victorious and taken the throne.
He frowned. He didn't like to think about the dynasty that had come before or to think that there might be another to come after him and his family. His father had always said that they ruled through divine right, so how to explain the changes in dynasties? Did those fallen monarchs anger God in some way?
Now, civil war had come again and it had been brutal and bloody. He felt as if he had waded through blood, thigh-deep, to gain the throne.
He would do it again. He would drown the city in blood if that is what it took. And God must bless his rule, because he had taken both the city and the crown with it.
He watched the city -- his city -- the freshening wind tugging at his auburn hair.
The door behind him opened, but he didn't bother glancing over his shoulder. Only de Rainault would bother him here, in his sanctuary.
The other man, drawn and pale as a drowned corpse, shrouded in black silk and velvet with no other adornment, came to stand beside him.
"What is it?" the soon-to-be crowned king said. "Can't you see I want to be alone?" He was already tired of the barons' squabbling and petty power grabs, and the crown had yet to be placed on his head.
"Your nephew, the Prince, has been captured," de Rainault said.
"Where is he now?"
The barons who opposed his rule had rallied around his dead older brother's child, supporting his claim to the throne. However, the boy was only five. Seizing the reins of power was in the best interest of the realm, lest unscrupulous regents manipulate the boy king to improve their own positions.
The Prince would prove a valuable hostage and his supporters would be on a short leash as long as he was in custody.
"Swynford is bringing him here, accompanied by a small, but loyal, cadre of his most battle-hardened soldiers with all due haste. He should be here within a day."
"I want him in the Spire."
The Spire, once a tower fortress of that fallen dynasty, was now a prison. His own mother, Queen Alix, had been imprisioned there for a year and a half after she had supported his brother in a rebellion against their father. It was strangely appropriate that his son would soon take up residence there.
"It would be better if the Prince met some accident on the road," de Rainault said.
"Perhaps." The king-in-waiting smiled thinly. "But I think not. The barons already cry that I have stolen his birthright. I won't have them whispering that I have stolen his life as well. Besides, at the moment, he is more useful to me alive."
"As long as he lives, there is the danger that the barons will attempt to install him on the throne."
"I do not intend that he will grow into a threat to my throne. But, for now ... "
De Rainault bowed his head. "Of course, I bow to your wisdom in this matter, my lord."
He smiled again, but there was no humor in it. The Old Spider would say all the right things to his face, but he had no doubt that, behind the scenes, he was weaving his schemes. As long as their goals aligned, he could trust that de Rainault would act in his own best interest.
He waved a hand in dimissal. "I tire of this. Return when the Prince is safely in the Spire and not before."
"Of course, my lord," de Rainault murmured. "I have but one more imposition on your time. Preparations for your crowning have been ... hurried ... but you have not yet chosen a regnal name."
He didn't have to think it over. He would take the name of their House's founder, a great warrior and conqueror. It was a name worthy of the great dynasty that would follow him, and he would be the first, and greatest, to bear it.
"My regnal name will be King Alistair."

Using bullet points to keep it clear and concise
I will be using the existing fantasy au touched upon in the recent light novels with some creative liberties
There’s layers upon layers of backstory and lore that I won’t get fully into to keep an air of mystery and intrigue
UA is a guild and magic replaces quirks
Gods and demigods exist but they’re relatively antiquated in certain cultures
Species of creatures can be distinguished into certain cultural traits as humans from different cultures irl
Geography is semi Pangea like but with large bodies of water separating nations
Large bodies of water bigger than an average lake but disconnected from the ocean and sea are commonly inhabited by diverse water dwelling species, some very dangerous to land dwellers
The majority of nations are either tribal, monarchies, or empires
The most powerful existing nation are two monarchies and one tribal government
King Enji the Endeavor and Queen Rei are the current monarchs of the Northern Kingdom, Rei being born into the title and Enji being nobility in the Southern Empire
The Southern Empire had recently fallen apart and is more commonly known as the Southern Territory.
The South is where the majority of its population are theives, runaways, and nomads
The Eastern Empire is run by Emperor Yaoyorozu and his Empress Harumi
The Eastern Emperor has many concubines but his wife has many known lovers as well.
Openly polyamorous but many have criticized the Empress for being unable to bear children to be the next heir to the throne
But 21 years ago Empress was blessed with a successful pregnancy of twin daughters
Unfortunately gifts from the gods don’t come without sacrifice and Harumi had to give up one of her daughters in order to keep them both alive and wasn’t allowed to contact her
Harumi ultimately decides to give one of her daughters to her most trusted confidant and former lover, Asami, to live a comfortable life in the Nation of her choice
Asami is a loving and protective mother to the baby girl the gods named Tenchu
Asami chose to live a nomadic life but was temporarily adopted into the Bakugo Clan in the Western Territory
When Tenchu was 13 she was given her first permanent tribal markings of her adopted clan but almost immediately after the clan was under attack and she and her mother were forced to flee to the Northern Kingdom
When Tenchu was sixteen her mother fell ill and left her daughter a substantial inheritance and many useful items
These items include many books and photographs as well as a magic satchel bag that could carry an infinite amount of items but only allowed you to retrieve items that you absolutely needed
Since then she had studied magic, becoming self taught and managing to soul bond the satchel to herself so she could never lose it
She never got a formal education but was very bright and witty
She lives a minimalistic lifestyle, valuing honesty and integrity above all else
At age eighteen she was almost scouted by UA’s heroes guild but declined in favor of her nomadic life
She learned basic training from her mother but was self taught in more complex combat and magic
Since the age of sixteen she has committed herself to finding her adoptive clan
Now at age twenty one she came to meet a man her age from said clan but he harshly rejects any speculation of his past or family for unknown reasons
Tenchu’s interest in the past faded quickly in the few months she has become accustomed to the man, especially as confusing and slightly concerning feelings arise
She also gains an affection for a tiefling named Mina in their makeshift clan she becomes well accustomed
She also develops an oddly divine connection to a merchant’s son bard with a rather elusive past and electric aura
Roped into many adventures and quests she leads and confusing yet thrilling life with tragedy, mystery, but an unexpected happy ending
I would literally pay anything to read a novel like this it’s such a good concept and it’s so well thought out too! And the way there’s threads for angst and romance that are just waiting to be tied in nice neat? I love it

As for my rewrite, I've got it.. Mostly down by now
First things first, the castle/temple in superhell is actually the old halcandrian castle, it's had magic placed on it to send it to another dimension should the castle come under attack- and it did in the magi-tech war when both factions were looking for where Bast put the master crown [it wasn't originally given to Landia anymore]- and the alter where you assemble the gem apple sapling is there because at some point Halcandrians worshipped it, because when Jorrolor died he had his divine magic transferred to it causing the apple to become a holy gem and kept there for eons.
Anyways fast forward to queen Imiolor and her father... Her father was a bastard child of the previous king of halcandra, who came to power after all the legitimate heirs to the throne were killed off [by him], his name? Mistilitenn, now this fucker was a bastard and a very good manipulator... Before becoming king he managed to corrupt the second gen hero of yore Rei into finding a way to give him some of void termina's power, Rei becoming obsessed and killing one of her friends, causing that generation of heroes to fall and Mistilitenn the power of GOD. He used this to rule with an iron fist, he was a tyrant, a horrible person and was only stopped after his daughter Imiolor saw the corruption and had ENOUGH, sealing him and the magic within the crown he had forged for himself, creating the master crown. Imiolor would go on to wear the crown and lead halcandrians to the surface, and every halcandrian leader since wore the master crown- some falling to it because Mistilitenn now decided souls tasted yummy, and others thriving. Some monarches refused to wear the crown past their coronation [such as Mapolor] so they couldn't be taken by it
anyways fast forward to Bastalor,
who had too strong of a will for Mistilitenn to take ahold of and too pure intentions to really bother trying, anyways the fall happens and Bast feels a tugging on her soul after Galacta is sealed immediately knowing what was going on now that her will had been weakened- with her immense power thanks to her blessing she was able to force the crown off by herself, and seal it in an old vault, which both factions would fight eachother over getting it first, magic side wanting the magic to fend off the tech and tech wanting to destroy it-
When the leader of the tech faction got his hands on the crown Mistlilitenn was powerful enough to coerce him into putting the crown on his head, which Mistilitenn took advantage of immediately and made the fucker blow up the blue volcano and rain fire down upon halcandra, killing most of the magic faction [a few managed to rift out in time], and even some of tech. Landia then came in, defeated the tech leader and took the crown, now it's guardian so no one else can abuse the power of the crown again, things are pretty the same from there-
Now for the Magolor stuff...
He's not from Halcandra, he's a descendant of the magic side of the magitech war, the few that managed to flee were split up in the galaxy but Mags got born wayyy later into what would become the last halcandrian settlement- however they weren't exactly. Halcandrian anymore. It's been so long and space time fuckery caused these guys to lose their glowing rings, gain sharper claws less fit for burrowing, and gain winter coats as the new planet was a much better climate then halcandra. So they're not halcandrians anymore and would be completely lost and unadapt to it after so long- even their culture has changed heavily since the time of ancient halcandra!
||I'm retconning some of Mags relationship with his family- mainly his parents. By that I mean Kulija doesn't die in childbirth anymore and Mags gets to know his mom! And dad! Neskaleia doesn't hate him from the moment he's born anymore!||
||He was actually very close with both parents for a time, his mother was a rough adventurer who wanted to sail the cosmos and take them along, his father was a magical and technological genius- which is where he got the interest in both fields, Neskaleia actually taught him quite a bit of what he knows. And grandpas still there feeding Magolor his love of legends||
||So what happened? Well, their colony had been deteriorating for quite some time now and resources were getting scarce, not only that, but a plague had broken out and took the life of Mag's mom. This sent him into a deep depression and his father into a downward spiral, he wanted to learn time travel, to undo *everything*- he was so ingrained in this idea he started neglecting his child, treating him as if he weren't even there most of the time. But that wasn't all, he also started getting even more involved with tech which Kasation disapproved of heavily, more specifically.. Neskaleia's choice to mechanize himself and idea to stop the plague by- mechanizing *everyone*. Remember, this is what's left of the magic faction, not too fond of tech||
||This resulted in a huge argument between Neskaleia and his father, resulting in Neska leaving... For good. He traveled through time and space, vowing to never return if they didn't want his help- he.. He didn't even consider bringing Magolor- or Maporei as he was known as back then||
||The plague takes the rest of the colony, only Magolor is left alive as he renamed himself false paradise and sets search on the Lor starcutter from a map his mother had made before her passing, his ultimate goal? Getting the master crown he'd learned of in legends.

LONDON -- King Charles III's highly anticipated coronation will take place on Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey, making him the 40th monarch to be crowned at the church.
William the Conqueror was the first to hold a coronation on Christmas Day in 1066.
The most recent was Queen Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953.
The Windsors are the only royal family in Europe that still holds coronations.
Although Charles immediately became king by law upon the death of his mother, the coronation is a "ceremony marking the formal investiture of a monarch with regal power," according to the royal family's website.
"The coronation will reflect the monarch's role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry," Buckingham Palace said in a statement earlier this year.
What we can expect to see on Coronation Day
Like every coronation since 1066, it will be held in Westminster Abbey and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury -- the Church of England's most senior cleric.
The palace describes it as "a solemn religious service" and it acknowledges the king's role as both the head of state and head of the Church of England.
The king is the Church's Supreme Governor.
Charles' wife, Queen Consort Camilla, will also be crowned.
"The ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort," according to the palace.
Tumblr media
Since the late 14th century, coronations have followed the instructions laid out in the Liber Regalis or "royal book," a medieval Latin manuscript that describes the order of service.
Alastair Bruce, ABC News royalty consultant and one of the U.K.'s leading experts on coronations, said there are five key stages to a coronation: the recognition, the coronation oath, the anointing, the investiture (which includes the crowning) and the homage.
The Recognition
During the recognition, the monarch is presented to his or her people.
The archbishop of Canterbury is expected to proclaim King Charles "the undoubted King" and call on the attendees to support him.
For the queen's coronation in 1953, the archbishop presented the queen to the east, south, west, and north.
People shouted "God Save Queen Elizabeth!" with trumpets sounding after each recognition.
The Coronation Oath
For this part of the service, the archbishop of Canterbury asks three questions to the monarch.
King Charles will place his hand on the Holy Bible and say, "The things which I have here before promised, I will perform and keep. So help me God."
The king will then sign an oath, pledging to serve the people and rule according to law.
"This is the only time that a monarch signs a written obligation to his or her people," Bruce said.

The Anointing
Of all the coronation moments, Bruce said the anointing or unction is the most important.
"This is where the Archbishop of Canterbury makes a cross with holy oil on the royal forehead and elsewhere on the body to show that the monarch has been chosen by God," according to the Westminster Abbey website.
"This signals the conferment of God's grace upon a ruler," according to David Torrance, who wrote a paper on coronations for the House of Commons' Library.
For Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, the archbishop anointed her with these words:
"Be thy head anointed with holy oil: as kings, priests, and prophets were anointed. And as Solomon was anointed king by Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet, so be you anointed, blessed and consecrated Queen over the Peoples, whom the Lord thy God hath given thee to rule and govern."
This sacred moment was barred from the cameras. The queen was covered with a canopy so people couldn't see as the archbishop dabbed oil on her face, chest and hands.
According to a former dean of Westminster, "At its heart, the anointing of the Sovereign and clothing with priestly garments that precede the coronation itself, resemble the ordination of a priest or the consecration of a bishop."
The anointing oil contains a mixture of orange flowers, roses, jasmine, cinnamon, musk, civet and ambergris.
London pharmacy John Bell and Croyden holds the "recipe and a sample of the famous anointing oil used when a new sovereign is crowned," according to its website.
It displays a replica of the bottle of oil in its London shop. The actual oil is under lock and key.
"Richard II is given the words by Shakespeare that describe why an anointing is so important: 'Not all the water in the rough rude sea can wash the balm off from an anointed king,'" Bruce noted.
The Investiture
The monarch now puts on ceremonial clothing known as the Colobium Sindonis and the Supertunica, a full-length coat made of gold silk cloth.
Coronation regalia is presented to the king or queen.
He or she will be invested with the coronation bracelets, known as armills, representing sincerity and wisdom, followed by the stole, the robe royal and the orb.
The monarch is also presented with the coronation ring and the sceptre with the cross and the rod with the dove.
Tumblr media
The Crowning
"The real key moment is the anointing but the visual moment is the crowning," said Bruce.
The Archbishop of Canterbury will slowly place the more than 400-year-old St Edward's Crown on the king's head.
The St Edward's Crown weighs 4 pounds and 12 ounces and is made of solid gold. It is the centerpiece of the Crown Jewels.
This is the only time the king will ever wear the St Edward's Crown.
It is sized to fit King Charles' head after it had "been removed from the Tower of London to allow for modification work late last year," according to a palace statement.
At previous coronations, it was at this moment, Bruce said, that the king's peers put on their coronets and the congregation shouts "God Save the King!" or "God Save the Queen!"
The guns at the Tower of London are fired.
Why do kings and queens wear crowns?
"It is to adorn the head that has been anointed with an earthly halo," said Bruce. "That's the concept of a crown."
And where they are crowned also has symbolism, according to Bruce.
"We crown them on a tumulus, an old Saxon and Teutonic tradition where you raise the new king on the burial chamber of a previous king. The tumulus in Westminster Abbey is made up of principally of Edward the Confessor's Tomb," he explained.
The Homage
The king is then expected to move from the coronation chair up some steps to the throne for the final part of the ceremony, which is the homage.
This is when the sovereign's subjects swear their allegiance. The homage is traditionally begun by the archbishop of Canterbury.
It remains to be seen who will pay homage to King Charles III at his coronation, or whether the traditional way of kneeling, kissing and touching the crown will take place.
The Queen Consort
The last time a Queen Consort was crowned was in 1937.
Camilla will be crowned after the homage.
"The queen is crowned at the will of the king," explained Bruce.
The king is expected to give a nod and then the queen will be crowned.
"It's traditional that the queen is anointed too," Bruce added. However, the entire ceremony is much simpler and shorter than for a monarch.
Tumblr media
Ending the service
Traditionally, the king is expected to take Holy Communion and go into the shrine of St. Edward the Confessor, which is behind the high altar.
He will put on the Imperial State Crown and purple velvet robe, then emerge for the final procession through the Abbey carrying the orb and sceptre.
The congregation will sing the National Anthem - "God Save the King."
The king will leave Westminster Abbey and start the procession back to Buckingham Palace.
He is expected to travel in the Gold State Coach. He will have the orb and sceptre with him.
After returning to Buckingham Palace, the newly crowned king and queen will appear on the balcony to greet the crowds.
Tumblr media
The coronation service on Saturday, May 6, will be the focal point of a weekend of celebrations.
There will also be a concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday, with the palace encouraging people to come together for a big lunch that same day and to volunteer in their communities on Monday, a holiday in the U.K.
"Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort hope the Coronation Weekend will provide an opportunity to spend time and celebrate with friends, families and communities across the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth," the palace announced in a statement.
