the thing i'm having the most trouble with in tmagp is connecting lucia wright with error.
we know that the magnus institute imprisoned people to use in their various projects, like with darrien:
Tumblr media
so it's possible that if lucia came and gave a statement in this universe as well, they could have captured her then. except the events of mag130 occurred in 2008, well after the magnus institute burned down. also, there's nothing really about mag130 that seems particularly eye-y.
the other most obvious answer is that the magnus institute tested her as a kid, and she progressed further than sam and gerry. there is an alexander wright, in the arg spreadsheet, although she doesn't mention a brother in mag130. also, there are several sets of siblings being tested. however, the oldest kids tested were born in 1985, which would put lucia wright at a max. age of 23 in mag130, which seems a bit young to me. (to be fair i am very bad at estimating ages.)
the other thing is, redcanary may have been somewhat transformed into an archivist too? (x) just by visiting the magnus institute? maybe lucia wright visiting the magnus institute or something?

AU where Loki doesn’t interfere with Thor’s banishment at all and it takes Thor years to prove himself worthy and when he returns to Asgard everything is just. The same. Nothing seems to have changed at all and everyone greets him like his absence was a minor obstacle that didn’t fundamentally change Thor and the worst part is Loki stepped down from the place as regent without any delay and Thor can’t help but feel there’s something underlaying the way his brother looks at him now and won’t let him touch him and Thor doesn’t know what he could have missed because he doesn’t think he would have found anything wrong with the things around him and how everyone behaves if he hadn’t spent time on Earth reflecting.
#the warriors 4 not being interested in anything Thor ‘learnt’ at all#and making it clear that Thor was punished unfairly and the AllFather’s decision had been harsh#Loki saying he’s happy for Thor and Thor sees the way the smiles are forced and he sees the way Loki avoids any touch#Thor hating the way Frigga talks about Loki’s short regency and Thor’s absence like it wasn’t two whole decades or something#like she’s so grateful to have her other son back without ever addressing why he was gone#Thor just. growing during his time on earth and being much more aware of the behaviour around him#he learns to be critical and assess why people around him may act a certain way#once he realises that it’s possible for him or anyone else to be fallible and make mistakes it’s over for Asgard for him I think#Thor returns and Loki gives him the throne and everyone expects him to obviously have the throne#and Odin is sleeping and Thor isn’t comfortable with the way everyone accepts him as king regent after the banishment#Loki who either never lashed out against Jotunheim or did and it was brushed away and no one thinks about it as anything#but Loki is still deeply affected and acts the way he always would have but Thor can feel it’s not the same#he knows something is wrong and Loki won’t say anything about it and Thor doesn’t know how to bring it up#Thor sees Loki metaphorically receding into the shadows to become a nonpresence so loud Thor hears it even after returning from decades away#Thor goes to Earth and gets his priorities in order gets a new worldview learns not to take what he has for granted#and finds out he actually despised Asgard#he’s been back a week and he can’t stand it

It’s a common interpretation of King Rhoam that he was abusive toward Princess Zelda. In many ways, this makes sense. He’s openly cruel to her in one of the cutscenes, and it’s clear that he’s pressured her into undergoing physically demanding religious rituals that seem to have no efficacy.
Still, I don’t think Rhoam is a bad person. He’s remarkably kind during his encounters with Link on the Great Plateau, and the diary he keeps hidden in his study in the Hyrule Castle library reveals that he was deeply concerned about Zelda’s wellbeing. Link’s memories reveal that the king gave his daughter a surprising amount of breathing room, allowing her to spend as much time away from the castle as she wished as long as it didn’t interfere with her duties.
I feel that Rhoam was doing the best he could in an extremely difficult situation. In the cutscene in which he’s cruel to Zelda, he informs her that people have been calling her a failure. This isn’t unfair, as most people in the kingdom wouldn’t understand that Ganon is an immediate threat, and everyone would more than likely resent the expense of excavating and reactivating the Divine Beasts and Guardians.
Rhoam understands how serious the situation is, however, and he understands that the fight against Ganon won’t be an ordinary war. If you knew that almost every single person in your kingdom would die, wouldn’t you do everything you could to ensure that didn’t happen? And could you really say that the pressure of political turmoil in the face of looming disaster wouldn’t affect you emotionally?
I’m not saying that child abuse is okay, obviously. These are fictional characters in a fantastic situation. Rather, what I want to say is that I can’t help but feel sympathy for Rhoam, who clearly made mistakes but was doing the best he could to protect both his kingdom and his daughter’s happiness, and I don’t think he deserves the hate he gets.

Wait a second. (Spoilers for Chapter 2 Episode 13)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I always knew that Ace being a smartass about what the word for carousel is was important!!
Tumblr media
The killer actually does misspell responsible as “responsibel”, meaning Teruko actually can use their comments as evidence that none of them would make this grammatical error. In fact, Ace does it twice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means that Ace is 100% not the culprit, right??? RIGHT???
No but seriously making a point to show Ace is a stickler for grammar twice is very funny and also kinda weird. Drdt hides important stuff in jokes sometimes, so part of me does wonder if it will somehow be relevant to the case.
Time for a random shot in the dark as to how that would happen:
Maybe people start to get suspicious of Ace, since he saw the contraption that Nico may or may not have tried to kill him with, had a chance to grab the tape, and has been directing suspicion at people all trial. And when they get to the note and explaining how it was written, someone says that Ace would totally be dumb enough to misspell responsible.
Teruko doesn’t want them putting all their eggs in the Ace Did It basket, and knows that she didn’t see Ace grab the tape when he was getting up off the floor, so she is searching for contradictions. Cue the random guess mini game as she looks through the evidence for anything that can prove Ace isn’t the culprit. The wheel lands on Spinny Thing, and Teruko remembers this moment and tries to use it as evidence. It, at the very least, buys her time to figure out actual reasons for Ace’s innocence other than “Guys don’t just rely on Ace’s stupidity to explain any and every contradiction in logic this causes”.
Anyways yeah I wanted to point out that there is a small chance that this joke could actually help prove Ace’s, Charles’, or Nico’s innocence. They know big words and they wouldn’t misspell responsible haha.
Also, on the truth bullet it says “Carousel” but Teruko says “spinny thing” out loud. Which makes me think she was just mad about Ace correcting her earlier and, despite knowing the real term, used “spinny thing” just to piss him off.
