Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure Origin Story

🩷🌸🐰🌳💙⛲️🐧🌳💛✨🐯🌳💜💨🐶
Diabolos was fed up with all the Cures defeating his Negative Bosses before remembering that only Mobians can become Cures. He decided to infect Mobius to kill off all the Mobians so no more Cures could be made. However, he needed a large supply of negativity to create a new Negative Boss, as he had already used up much of his magic. He then remembered how sorrowful the Empire was when baby Emerald got sick. He sent one of his generals to poison Emerald (who is 15,424) and it worked.
The royal family and the whole Empire wept as Emerald lay in her room close to death. Her siblings (minus Ruby) and mother searched for a cure. Diabolos watched with great satisfaction as he gathered up the negativity. Vanessa was devastated as she watched her daughter fight for her life, feeling helpless just as she did when her daughter was born. It all became too much and she broke down in her workshop. A young Afghan Hound puppy from one of their guard dogs’ litter found her and tried to comfort her. Vanessa smiled at the puppy when she pawed at her. Vanessa hugged the puppy, and the power of the twenty-one element bottles floating in a bubble overhead combined with the puppy's desire to help her sadness and Vanessa's yearning to help her sick daughter, giving the puppy healing and protective magic. The magic gave the puppy a new necklace and a crystal headpiece. Vanessa was surprised at what had happened but not as surprised as when the puppy jumped out of her hands and ran out of the workshop. Vanessa chased after her, and Sapphire joined her when she felt the energy in the puppy. The commotion attracted the attention of her other family members.
The puppy ran into Emerald's room and jumped on her bed. Emerald opened her eyes and tried to smile and reach out to pet her. Her family stopped in the doorway and watched. Crystalline wanted to take the puppy away but both Vanessa and Sapphire stopped her as they watched with wide eyes. The puppy met Emerald’s hand and a strong pulse was released, eradicating the sickness from her body.
Her family was overjoyed when she sat up and hugged the puppy. Diabolos was displeased that the Empire was no longer in despair, which meant he couldn't collect more negativity but he had enough to do what he wanted. He created King Byogen, whom he sent to Mobius to infect it and gather up more negativity. When Vanessa and Sapphire found out, they knew they had to take action. Sapphire suggested turning the puppy, Teatinu, into a Cure Flicky and sending her to Mobius to find a partner to help fight King Byogen. Vanessa agreed, but Emerald begged them to turn Teatinu into a Cure Spirit instead, as the puppy had saved her life and she wanted her to stay the way she is. Vanessa agreed but explained that they would have to erase Teatinu's memory of living in the Crystal Empire, as she would need to stay on Mobius after completing her mission. Emerald says she understands and leaves to retrieve Teatinu.
Sapphire questioned why Vanessa lacked confidence in Teatinu, especially if she was sending her to Mobius. Vanessa explained that Teatinu and her partner would only be able to slow down King Byogen and they would have to wait for the right time to recruit more Cures. Sapphire clarified, "You mean the right era." Vanessa laughed before Emerald arrived with Teatinu and her family. After an emotional farewell, Teatinu is given the Cure power and sent to Mobius in the year 1875 CE with no memory. The only thing she does know is that she must find a partner to become a Pretty Cure and her name.
As Teatinu explored Mobius, she encountered Fuu, a teenage orphan who sang to sick children and had a strong immune system. Teatinu became inspired by her. When King Byogen attacks Fuu’s village, Teatinu valiantly attempts to stop him but ultimately fails. When he tries to finish her off Fuu saves her, causing the Wind Element Bottle to appear. Teatinu then tells Fuu what to do to transform. Together, they manage to drive him away from the village.
Over the years that follow, the two travel the world in pursuit of Byogen, freeing element spirits he has imprisoned. During a very rough battle, they succeed in banishing him to a different world, which later becomes the Byogen Kingdom, and destroying his physical form. Suddenly, they find themselves transported to a new world filled with strange creatures that bear a resemblance to Mobians, but walk on two or four feet and are less humanoid. Among these creatures are Flickies of various colors. The two looked around before Vanessa appeared in front of them and congratulated them on their success.
When Fuu asks who she is, Teatinu recalls that Vanessa was the one who made her and sent her to Mobius. The two then ask what the new world they have found themselves in, and Vanessa explains that it is the Healing Garden. The strange creatures in the garden are former inhabitants of Earth who were mistreated by humans, so she extracted them from that world. She goes on to tell them that new animals will continue to appear in the Healing Garden if they are not treated well on Earth. The Flickies in the garden are known as Healing Flickies, born from the desire to help others from the Mobians. Teatinu asks why they have been brought to this place, and Vanessa tells them that it is the end of their journey. Fuu will return to Mobius to live out her life, while Teatinu will remain in the Healing Garden to watch over it and continue to bring more Healing Flickies into the world. Though neither of them wants to be separated, Vanessa assures them that they will always be able to visit each other, however, Teatinu will live longer than Fuu.
Both were saddened by this but promised to always be friends. Fuu becomes a renowned doctor, while Teatinu becomes the queen of the Healing Garden. In the last days of Fuu’s life, she stayed with Teatinu. After her passing, she is remembered in the form of a statue in the Healing Garden.
132 years after Teatinu's arrival on Mobius, in 2007 CE, she gave birth to her daughter, Latte. On that day, Vanessa presents her with three special Healing Flickies - Rabirin the Rabbit, Pegitan the Penguin, and Nyatoran the Cat - as well as the Flower, Water, and Light Element Bottles and three Healing Room Bags. She tells Teatinu that the time will come when she must send her daughter and the three Healing Flickies to Mobius, but not yet. Teatinu understood what she meant.

Mind if I spitball some late night ideas for dark Precure OCs? Cool? Cool
Dusky Shade - aka the reason why these aren't all 'Dark Cure [Name]' A last ditch effort to revive the Dark King, Dusky Shade is the antithesis of Shiny Luminous. Unlike Hikari or Hikaru, she knew of her role in reviving Dark King from the moment of her creation, and revels in the chance to cover the Garden of Rainbows in darkness. Unlike her predecessors, the Zakenna she creates spread shadows and blot out the light of the world, something that becomes harder for the Precure to reverse if they aren't defeated quickly enough.
Cure Malady - Turns out sticking a Mega Part into Nodoka while she was in her Cure form created more than just Kedary. Malady has taken up the Byogens' goal of spreading illness across the world, but her heart isn't really in it. More often than not, she'll wander around aimlessly until she's strongarmed into creating a Megabyogen by her cohorts. Despite her somewhat apathetic personality, Nodoka is something of a sore point for her, with the mere mention of her being enough to get Malady fired up, though Nodoka herself isn't sure why.
Cure Laze - Accidentally created by the Witch of Delays, Cure Laze takes up her creator's goal of stealing the world's motivation power. Despite her name and goal, she's very much a busybody and unable to stay still for long. After infiltrating the girls' school, she strikes up an odd friendship with Manatsu, even though she's never motivated to get involved in whatever the Tropical Club is up to.
#precure#pretty cure#precure oc#i'm not super sold on any of these names tbh#but they serve their purpose#laze isn't based on any of the tropre in particular#and as you can probably guess‚ shade and malady are based off hikari and nodoka#i'm not sure what any of their civilian names would be#assuming shade and malady would have one#i kinda had an idea for a dark suite precure#but i ended up not adding her#maybe another day cure discord#and as i'm typing this a half formed idea of a dark startwi cure is coming to life

PreCure Allstars Multi World Garrison Mantles 15-1
In light of Healin Good PreCure finally taking down King Byogen, not only ending the Byogen Kingdom, And Allowing the Pokemon World to Win the War for the Healing Garden, I have brought it up on myself to bring in my Talent's in Making the girls Multi-World Garrison Mantles, The Second pic will come later on.
Feels good to be doing the Mantles again, like with Go Princess PreCure and Kirakira PreCure a la Mode as well as Cure Soliel and Cure Selene, I've added some editions such as the Gold Hears with the Silver-Cross on the sides of the Capes.... That shows they are part of the Silver-Cross, And shall be recognised as Allies to the Pokemon World, Pangea and Mobius, Doing there usual Zodiac Badges due to info from General Toppa, Mary Anne and Lolo, The Star Princesses where impressed with Healin Good PreCure for Taking out King Byogen Not wanting the Byogen Kingdom's Conquest of the Universe Starting an All out War with the Pretty Cures they weren't Ready for, And guess what.... For the first time in PreCure History, The Healing Animals now being members of UFO have Zodiac Badges as well, With there Birth Dates being shown on the PreCure Wiki, And Yes I am using Costumes of there from there Movie Appearances in Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure: Yume no Machi de Kyun! tto GoGo! Fri - Healin' Good Pretty Cure- EP 26 - 28
Shh, we can pretend that it is.
EP 26
And suddenly I have Vrains fears... considering the time it came out, it is probable but please, not again -.-'' there is genuinely nothing to talk about, this is an actual, recap episode. (Although a surprise, didn't know Precure did those but I guess the circumstances were very different when this season was airing).
Perhaps I'm being overly cynical but my only question is, how did they pay for all that? They said it was custom made, there's no way that was all done for free? Being a friend of your grandson seems a bit of a stretch.
Good gravy does Hinata look different with her hair styled like that, nor am I sure how they managed to pull that off with Nodoka considering how short her hair is ??? They do all look really nice though.
And no actual Precure in this ep, no baddies, no Byogens, nothing! That is an actual first.
EP 27
Ha, I get that reference, that's a creatively clever throw back.
o.O Hold up, what is that implying?
Don't lie now, that's not a good lesson to be teaching. Although, the current trend of eps seems to be explaining various emotions to Asumi? Is that really something that needs eps spent on it?
That was a cool looking trick if nothing else and that is Teal again, (seriously the Precure franchise has an allergy or phobia to the colour green, at least it is closer than a purple, wind element using Cure Earth.)
A few more? Is that a translation error, there is clearly only space for one more. Although nothing springs to mind as to what it could be that hasn't already been covered?
That sounds dodgy >.< but crumbs that is one tense conclusion for an episode. Imagine how hard it must have been to wait for the following ep a whole week later. That whole sequence of events was rather dark, it is quite a surprise. Bonus points for the preview for the next ep not really ruining it either!
Ep 28
An extra bonus point for not shying away from the topic/matter at hand, along with an extra helping of salt in the wound (that is some serious, kicking them when their down, that you don't see in many Precure villains.)
Oh! (;° ロ°) The implications! And crumbs can you feel the tension and worry through the screen. The Doctors scene was rough.
Yeah but what do those last two have to with Teatetine? (Didn't even realise the birdie got a name) but they were recent additions, heck Daruizen created one and Batetemoda was a sort of convenient accident creation and how did Nyatoran know Nebus? Didn't Earth solo that or Earth and Grace? But the fact King Byogen only exists because Teateine failed to heal it soon enough and it simply kept evolving is an unexpected twist.
This ep has certainly given Rabirin some redemption points but that is flat our potential horror material there.
From the preview, I just thought they gave him a new attire but nope, entirely new, lil bro looking thing, who aparently has no skeleton what so ever with moves like that o.O and just like that, he's gone as fast as he appeared. (disappointing, could have been a curious angle between the pair going on)
However, low blow after low blow with this guy and the implication very much come to light.
It was one thing after another here, this would have been a good mid peak or is it them just upping the ante because we're in the second half? Even loads of lore dump scattered across theses three eps.
The world building and connecting lines of everything thus far is definitely strongest in this series.
(Also...wind powered Precure using wind element bottle... why? Considering her feats already it does seem a bit daft.)

PRETTY CURE! TRIVIA ON!
Right! Felice once wielded the Linkle Stone Pink Tourmaline in battle. She used it to create a shield in Episode 26, which is different from when Miracle used it to free a pegasus from the Yokubaru it had become. I wonder if the Silver stones allow for more attacks than the ones we’ve seen in the show. Maybe we’ll find out once Mirai Days comes out?
We’re doing a question about another flower-themed Cure. This time, it’s Cure Grace! And now…
Let’s-La Trivia!

Healin’ Good Within Chap 7 With A Combined Wish
Here's the last chapter of Healin Good Within
Read Chapter 6 Here
Summary: What if Asumi actions during the big fight against King Byogen had side effects that didn't appear right away? What will happen when the wind spirit finds herself developing a closer relationship with Shindoine? Was the villainess truly as bad as it seemed or is there a chance healing and understanding can happen even when it seems like its too late?
Read on AO3 Here
Or Read Below
Cure Grace summoned the pink light once more. She touched Asumi’s chest with the shining light.
Pain, it hurt, it hurt so bad Asumi tried to push back, but Shindoine stopped her.
The light stopped. “It feels like something is holding it back.” Cure Grace explained.
“Asu is. She doesn’t want it to happen” Shin whined, tears falling but she wasn’t sure if it was from her or Asu.
“It hurts, it hurts lots and it hurts Shin. What if she doesn’t end up okay? I want her okay” Asumi argued.
“I want this Asu. Please.”
Latte barked loudly to get their attention. “Asumi Nodoka” She said, wanting their attention.
Nodoka pulled out the stethoscope, while Latte was still learning to speak, she only could say their names right now and not complex sentences.
“Maybe the elemental bottles could help the pain and help Asumi feel less worried about the process? The wind bottle helped make her?” Latte’s inner voice explained.
Cure Grace pet the dog princess’ head. “Good idea. Latte thinks you should summon an element bottle, it might help with the pain and help the process, since the wind element helps make you” Grace relayed the message.
Closing her eyes Asumi summoned two bottles, one for each hand. Her wind element bottle and the air element bottle, which really fit since that was one of the elements she used the most.
“Ready to try again?” The pink cure carefully asked.
“Yes” Was their answer both hands squeezing the elemental bottles tightly.
As the pink light touched them once more the two elemental bottles started to shine as well.
The light covered Asumi’s body but it didn’t feel painful, it felt like a gentle breeze and warm air blowing around them covering them like a warm blanket.
They closed their eyes.
Asumi wanted to be able to help teach Shindoine like how her human friends had taught her to be her own person. She wanted to be able to show Shin there was more to life than living for someone else, just like the others had taught her.
Shindoine wanted to protect Asumi, she didn’t want her being in Asumi to hurt her. She didn’t want to hurt Asumi. She.. loved the other woman. She wanted to be able to dress up and take pictures with the other woman, she wanted to spend time with her. It wasn’t like King Byogen where she would have gladly given up herself to make him stronger. She wanted to live so she could be with Asumi, so she could spend time with the wind spirit.
The feeling faded away, and both women opened their eyes.
They were no longer together. Asumi still had all the changes Shindoine had caused, the green horns, the ears, and the larger breast. Nothing else about her changed. But Shin was looking at her, and Asumi was looking at Shin in her new body.
Shindoine’s horns were light purple similar to the purple Asumi was as Cure Earth. Her hair was still dark purple, but her skin color matched Asumi’s. She no longer had a tail, though her ears were still pointed like how Asumi’s ears became. It looked like they were about the same height as well. Shindoine’s eyes were no longer purple but rather green. She was also wearing the exact same dress Asumi was, but in light green.
In many ways Shindoine and Asumi really did look like they could be sisters.
“Your elemental bottle” The newly formed Shindoine handed the air bottle back to Asumi, when they split she had been left holding it.
“How do you feel?” Asumi asked, fussing over the other woman.
Shindoine didn’t know how she felt. “I feel soft. My claws are weaker” She said poking her own cheeks.
“Was your purple skin tougher?” Nodoka asked curiously. The newly formed ex-villain nodded.
“I had very strong claws and strong flesh. My tail is gone too.” Shindoine added, looking behind her.
Asumi hugged Shindoine tightly. “But, you don’t hurt?” She asked.
“No I don’t. I’m okay” Shindoine started to tear up a little.
She started to sob, she couldn’t stop herself, she hid her face in Asumi’s chest. As she cried. “‘M okay” She kept repeating as her body shook.
Nodoka watched the two, letting them have this moment to themselves. She hadn’t transformed out of her Cure Grace form. Just to be on the safe side. But it really didn’t seem like Shindoine was going to try to cause any problems.
By the time the other humans and their healing animal partners came back Shindoine was already fast asleep head resting on Asumi’s lap having cried herself tired.
Asumi and Nodoka filled in what happened while they were gone.
It was Chiyu who voiced the concerns they all had, what if Shindoine was still evil. What if she still had the ability to infect people.
“If she does then we purify her. But, she deserves a chance to prove herself” Nodoka gently reassured her friends.
“I’ll make sure to show her how to be good. I think all she really ever wanted was to be loved. I think she did those bad things to try to make King Byogen happy because she loved him, and wanted to be loved by him. I’ll make sure she feels love without doing bad stuff” Asumi said quietly, petting Shindoine’s light purple horn.
Hinata brought up another valid concern. “We should prolly tell the queen. I mean she might not think it's the best idea to let her stay in the healing garden until she proves herself safe. It’s still recovering, you know?”
Asumi nodded, there were a lot of things they needed to do. Her friends had valid concerns. But, only time could tell what will happen. No one felt Shindoine’s feelings and memories the way Asumi had. She had a deeper understanding of the once villain than anyone else did. She would need to prove herself to them. But, the wind spirit would be there for her.
“She’s not a byogen anymore” The wind spirit said with confidence.
“How do you know that?” Pegitan asked with unease, he seemed to be the one most nervous about Shindoine, probably because of how she had threatened him in the past.
She smiled at the sleeping woman. “She’s a spirit like me. She’s an air spirit. Latte had been right; the elemental bottles helped the process. I don’t think there is any byogen powers left in her”
Shindoine nuzzled close to Asumi with a sleepy smile as she slowly woke up. “Asu?”
“Had a good nap?” Asumi asked, smiling back at her new little sister.
“Hm mm had a dream we were flying together” Shindoine timidly revealed.
The wind spirit smiled “That sounds like a wonderful dream”
Asumi knew only time would tell if her little sister could be redeemed. But, she knew that she and her friends would do their best to help teach Shindoine how to be good. The once byogen was not a lost cause. She was just someone in a bad situation who would have done anything for love. So Asumi would make sure she gave the young woman the love she craved so much.

Kinda realised Neo King Byogen gives me VenomVandemon vibes :’DDD
I mean, look:
Horns, long hair, HUGE IN SIZE, wings. Ahgsajhsgf. Also both eating their subordinates.

I just want you all to know. I refuse to believe King Byogen ain't Latte's father 😭
Some tragic Romeo and Juliet story between Byogen and Teatinu i swear. 💀
I mean, they aren't just random kings or queens where latte just magically becomes a princess...right 🤨
Lumière and Noir all over again

How's your last third of Healin good precure?
Well, despite COVID screwing up production, I think the show had a really solid ending.
The next type of monsters are the Gigabyogens, created by the generals after jamming Mega Parts into themselves. Granted, we don’t see a lot of them, but given the last season had a similar type of monster, I’m guessing they were running out of humans to make into monsters.
Of course, most of this third is spent wrapping up character arcs.
While she never really got a lot of focus episodes, we saw by the end, Asumi made her own choice to do something as a way to defeat King Byogen, despite Latte’s protests.
We also got closure on analyzing Hinata’s recklessness after she encourages the others to jump at the chance to fight King Byogen, leading to the conflict escalating even more. Well, kind of. Sure, she admitted she was wrong, but then they point out how much good she’s done without really providing an answer to whether what she’s done was good or not. I heard that episode was rushed due to COVID, but it was still a mixed bag for me.
Like with Minami, Chiyu struggled with which career to pick, innkeeping or high jump, but she decided to focus on both. It might seem like a bit of a cop-out, but given the episode talked about how people were making sacrifices for her choosing one thing, the idea of her being able to chase two dreams was still a good lesson. Hell, there are stories of athletes investing in other businesses during or after their time in sports, so it’s possible for Chiyu to rake in more attention for the inn in the future if she gets some gold medals.
But, of course, there’s the conclusion to Nodoka’s arc. After King Byogen gets a more physical form as opposed to the scary face of doom form he spent most of the series in, he tries to assimilate Daruizen, who runs like hell and pretty much begs Nodoka to let him hide/recover in her body. She naturally says no and runs away, but it seriously messes her up because she essentially compromised her beliefs because of her own interests.
While Rabirin initially assumed it was her fault Nodoka didn’t help because their goal is to stop all the Byogens, she quickly switches tracks and helps reassure Nodoka that it was perfectly fine for her to say no, and she should have a say in things like that.
I’ve seen a few people compare this to an abusive relationship before, but now, I really get it. It’s really inspiring to see Nodoka move past her trauma and focus on self-love, a kind of love I haven’t really seen this franchise tackle, outside of Heartcatch.
It makes so much sense, and doesn’t feel cruel like condemning Chloe in Miraculous, because unlike her, Daruizen had absolutely zero redeeming qualities, and Nodoka even pointed out that even if she helped him out, he probably wouldn’t have changed his mind on humanity, much less leave Nodoka unharmed.
It also leads to one of the coolest scenes I’ve seen in the franchise where Nodoka opens the biggest can of whoop-ass on Daruizen while reaffirming her body is her own.
And throughout this entire scene, I was just like...

So yeah, while this was an incredibly satisfying episode and character arc conclusion... the actual final battle with King Byogen felt very underwhelming by comparison in my opinion. Like, with Deusmast, the buildup was good enough to get invested in it with how often he was propped up as the embodiment of chaos, so the fight was something to look forward to, but because of how little we know about King Byogen, it was hard to get that invested in the fight.
The final battle was still well-animated, and I liked the idea of the townspeople pulling a Spider-Man 2 and keeping the identities of the Cures secret while secretly thanking them after the final battle, but I think there should have been more done with King Byogen, especially after all three of his subordinates got really good send-offs in a surprising case of there being no survivors of the villain faction or any last-minute redemptions this season.
Other than that, I thought there were some strong filler episodes, like Episode 33 (The doctor who helped Nodoka reveals he had a little existential crisis after seeing how helpless he was to save Nodoka before she got better on her own, and decided to become a medical researcher to learn more about unknown diseases as a result), Episode 35 (Rabirin, Latte, and Asumi take the others to a deserted island to learn how to play beach volleyball after seeing a volleyball anime), and Episode 37 (The four Healing Animals go out on their own to explore the town during the Fall while coming to terms with the fact that they’d have to say goodbye to their partners after defeating the Byogens).
There’s also another epilogue episode after the final battle where the team fight manju-themed Byogens (just go with it) with the help of the next lead, Cure Summer.
And part of me is wondering if any of the writers had overheard the plans for what the Super Sentai division at Toei was cooking up at the time, because I don’t think this was supposed to be a coincidence, especially considering how similar the two are personality-wise.
Also, Queen Teatine implies she’s willing to commit genocide if humanity screws up too much.
Kind of strange for a show all about healing the Earth to save the whole “humanity’s been destroying the Earth for a while” schtick for the final episode.
But yeah, I think this is a really strong season, and I think the troubled production thanks to COVID didn’t really do much to ruin my enjoyment, outside of some issues like the lack of focus for Asumi and King Byogen. If I had to do a ranking of the seasons I’ve seen so far, I’d guess it’s be...
5) Mahoutskai
4) Star Twinkle
3) Healin’ Good
2) Heartcatch
1) Go Princess
As for my next season, I’ve decided I’d check out Fresh Precure next, followed by Smile, so look forward to my thoughts on those two from someone who isn’t entirely new to the franchise anymore.
