"peaches" came up next to "fearless hero" in a poll i saw once so now every time i think about the former song my brain automatically tunes into the latter and i end up listening to the latter again
#if not for anything else in that song but the acoustic intro#like the entire song is BANGER but i would KILL for an entire acoustic track that follows that intro#the EMOTION in it man#the lash wish is honestly the 'bohemian rhapsody' for films to me#it wouldn't be a casual watch for me if i ever found time i REALLY want to watch it in cinemas again#the mario movie is a very casual watch on the other hand. i'm pirating that the moment it comes out on digital and analysing every detail#these movies are not comparable. i like them for extremely different reasons.#kinda went on a tangent there but eh

When Santana cries in the hallway and says "I used to love coming here, but now it just reminds me of everything that I've lost"
I know that the writers meant it as she lost Finn but because I'm a lit student I always analyse the shit out of everything so I always look at that like she's talking about a lot more than just Finn.
I always think its because she comes back to McKinley and shes reminded of all of her aspirations and what she wanted to achieve. Also specifically about Brittany. Because I would think that going back to McKinley would make her think about her and Brittany.
No idea why this disappeared from the inbox but I found it in the notifications. Thank you for sending it in again and for the patience.
I’m not a lit student but I can relate to wanting to analyse the shit out of everything haha. I think there can be more than Finn to it even if we don’t go digging that deep. The episode is about mourning Finn and Cory and I do believe Santana is struggling with the weight of that, but grief often brings out other strong emotions. Up to this point in the episode, that had been anger for Santana. But here she just looks exhausted and like she really is done with McKinley.
All of what you say and more is a part of it. That’s the best way to look at it, in my opinion. Although this feeling of being just done with Lima is brought on by Finn’s passing, it embodies all these different things that Santana had been holding onto and how wants to get rid of. Part of that is Brittany, as even here in The Quarterback Santana’s back where they fell in love but Brittany’s away at MIT and without her being there, walking down the hallways doesn’t feel right. Regarding her aspirations, I think Santana mostly just wants to be done with her high school persona and get the hell back to New York where she can at least hope to explore new things. McKinley also reminds her of how lost she was, and make no mistake, Santana in season 5A is still very much lost. But I also think she’s desperate to leave these heavy feelings behind and get back to her now cozy New York life.
When Santana says she used to love coming back, I’m assuming she’s referring to her season 4 returns when she hadn’t truly left McKinley yet. Finn and his leadership of the club was a big part of that and the weight of that, as well as her complicated relationship with Finn is hitting her. I’d like to think they ended in an okay place in season 4 and I’m delusional enough to pretend season 4 had a proper Finntana friendship. But still, with so much hurt in their history this is just way too heavy for Santana. And then you factor in Brittany, and then you add how miserable Santana was for most of high school, how she’s trying to escape that feeling of being lost, and it makes sense. It makes sense that she now associates McKinley with loss and she just wants to be done with it. I see her eagerness to go back to NYC as a bit of good old running away from problems, which do eventually catch up with her. But yeah bottom line is I agree that it’s a complex mess of many different things, including but not limited to Brittany.
Ever since I read the take that season 5 as a whole is best viewed through the lens of grief I haven’t been the same. I think grief is one of those things that bleeds into your everyday life, inevitably, and maybe other kinds of hurt bleed into grief, too. So it’s no wonder Santana feels so overwhelmed here, especially because she spends half the episode being incredibly closed off to even the idea of vulnerability. No wonder If I Die Young ends the way it does, no wonder she blows up at Sue the way she does. I don’t normally go into too much of an analysis with The Quarterback because, well, it’s a special case, but I do think there’s so much there. Particularly for Santana. I really like how they handle her in this episode.
#i kinda went off on a tangent there but that's because this is a great ep for her#and that feels strange to say - considering - but it's true#i'm obsessed with her anger i'm sorry it's just SO rich#nothing like a mad woman eh#anon#glee asks#santana asks#the quarterback#santanalysis

Can I request a MK x reader but the reader is the older sibling of Jin and Yin. Kinda like Bronze Demon. I think the interaction would be funny. I would like it to be a headcanon and thank you
Sorry this took so long I've been a bit lazy
Let's be honest you only helped your brothers in their plants to defeat the monkey kid just to make sure they don't hurt themselves.
At first Mk thought he would have to fight you too but you always just spectated and gave your brothers aid.
After a bit while you help your unconscious brothers you two just talked for a bit, even when he is the one who knocked them out but eh self defense.
Then you both started hangout outside of fights it was pretty fun, you never really told your brothers what you were doing.
Sometimes you both just chill at his place and it was great you two both watched movies taking turns to pick them.
Mk would come to his own realization of his crush completely randomly while he was making plans to hangout with you.
While Yin and Jin where spying on Mk to make a new plan, they saw you both on a date.
Needless to say when you got home they went on a long tangent about how you can't date the enemy.
They were quick to shut up though when you lectured them about how they can't tell you who you should date.
So you got Mk and your brothers to meet and made a deal that they can continue there little rivalry as long as no one gets hurt and not when you two are together.
MKs happy to have that agreement and to be sorta chill with your family (if he ignores the scheming that's happening behind him while he watches a movie with you on the couch at your place).

Moral of the Story: Chapter 8
Warnings: Mild tangent based off of an actual conversation I had (I'm actually from D.C. so this was fun), one singular bad pun- it deserves its own warning, and probably strained warning.
Feedback is always appreciated

“Apologies but until you had agreed and were here it was still considered confidential.”
“O-okay, um, where- or how should I start?”
The director stood across the bed from me, eyebrows furrowed, the room filled with silence apart from the constant, steady beeps of the machinery.
“How the hell should I know? You’re the one with the super-abilities.”
“Right, sorry, that was dumb. Do you know if any of his internal organs were damaged when he went under? Or have you had the chance to run any tests yet?”
“I’m sorry, what crash are we talking about?” Tony said, still standing in the doorway.
Fury pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance before responding, “When the Captain here decided to take a trip twenty thousand leagues under the sea he was in a, shall we say, pseudo-nazi aircraft with a fixed route on its way to the states. His options were to let the ship take its course and let millions die or take a nosedive, he took the latter, rather obviously. Speaking of,” the attention turned to me, “how did you know that?”
“Sir, I’m a licensed teacher from pre-k to high school- I’m not by any means immune to misinformation; although, I do have a bit more knowledge on the topic than most people- not to mention my…” my mind trailed off for a moment before coming back, “former colleague taught history, rather fitting as he lived through it, too.”
His one eye began to look me up and down, “Remind me, where did you work last? Aside from with the X-Men that is.”
There was an uncertainty in his voice that made the agents who went down the elevator with us glance at each other nervously. What I had seen twice in my less-than-a-day stint of knowing this man seemed uncommon or unsettling for those who had known him longer.
“I don’t believe I said. Besides, doesn’t your file on me say?” We were both fishing for information, a push and pull I’d grown adjusted to on the flight over.
He remained silent, motioning one of the residents to come over.
“S-so we ran s-some tests-,” he took a moment to breathe and calm himself down, he spoke with a light stutter, likely to have been more prevalent in his earlier years. It sounded like he had gotten speech therapy, and was likely better, nervous, but better, “a lot of the scans were, well are, useless. His blood, everything about him really, was frozen, barely mobile. So the extent of the internal injuries he potentially sustained upon impact is uncertain. I sent for some new prints of the scans we took last week, but they haven’t come in yet; they’ll probably arrive today but it’s pretty touch and go sometimes.” He finished talking with a meek smile, likely proud of how he handled the situation.
“You did the scans last week and they’re only coming in today?” I could feel the look of confusion that overtook my face, he chuckled lightly and rubbed his neck.
“Yeah, we don’t have the equipment to produce the scans here so we send them over to the hospital over in Takoma Park to print- they have the most up-to-date machinery, and they were the only ones willing to work with us privately- so it takes a bit of time.”
“Perks of D.C., eh? Either have the most outrageous tax or go out of district.”
“Exactly! Say, did you grow up ‘round here?”
“No, up in Salem. I used to teach. I planned enough ‘government trips’ to last a few lifetimes.”
I could’ve sworn I heard him mutter a few “cool” s under his breath before he spoke up again, “It was nice getting to talk with you, but I kinda have some other patients I gotta check up on.” he moved by Fury, a “sir” slipping out as he passed and a little wave to me as he left.
The four who accompanied me in the elevator looked at each other, all but Tony practically questioning if this was normal for me.
The director cleared his throat, calling my attention back over to him, "When can you start?"
"Oh! Any time. I was only wondering how badly he was hurt so I can give you my best estimation for how long it'll take me to finish this."
“Will this not be a one-time excursion?”
“...No? Not likely.”
I was done with conversing, done with this nonsense. Placing my hand on the captain’s chest the area where we touched began to glow with a golden hue- I’d always been told my eyes did the same. It was unlike healing Tony a year ago- I didn’t have to rush, it wasn’t life or death- I could take my time and triage.
His biggest issue was hypothermia, unsurprisingly. I felt the cold move through his body to mine. A deep chill settled in my bones.
I pulled away, “Do you know if there’s a heating pad somewhere? Or something like it?” I hadn’t looked at them, afraid of how they would react. A few seconds of silence passed before I turned to them- Tony looked confused, maybe he didn’t see what my powers looked like, and he probably had some blood loss going on at the time; Fury stood unwavering with the smallest tent in his brow, but then again who could read him; the male agent who’d gone with us was standing, mouth slightly agape; and the female agent was gone slipped out without a sound- weird.
She looked like she’d be the ‘hard-ass’ type despite her being, what, 5’3”-5’4”. She was maybe Tony’s age, though it was difficult to tell, her seemingly ageless golden skin a potential factor, Tony’s substance abuse didn’t exactly help his cause though.
She walked back in, a wired heating pad in hand, she lifted it in the air inquisitively before tossing it to me.
“Thank you, Agent-”
“It’s no problem.” She cut me off gruffly.
I set the heating pad up in a chair and sat down, placing my hand back on the captain, and, over a few hours, I healed him as much as I could before returning to the hotel for the night. A comfortable cycle that lasted for a few months.
I walked into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s office for what would likely be the last time, at least soon.
I walked up to the agents who had escorted me on my first day- Agents May and Coulson I’d learned.
“Ready for your last day?” Coulson asked a melancholic tone laced his voice.
“Are you excited to be done with babysitting me?” I teased.
I’d gotten more comfortable around Coulson, though it wasn’t exactly difficult with his rather ‘easy-going’ nature, and comfortable enough around Agent May to talk to her. We walked along the rather familiar path to Captain Rogers’ room. I made quick work of healing what remained of his injuries.
He still wasn’t awake. For whatever reason I thought Cap would wake up when I had finished healing him.
Coulson and I talked for a while before heading to the entrance once I’d gotten word back from Tony that his chauffeur was there to pick me up.
“I’m gonna miss you, kid.” he whispered, pulling me into a side hug.
“I’ll miss you too, Phil.” I replied, “ It was nice getting to know you, Agent-”
“May, call me May.” She cut me off, “And, unless you quit within the next year we’ll probably see you soon. Stark has an odd habit of getting in trouble with almost anyone and everyone.”
“I’ll miss you too.”
A car horn was blaring outside for a minute and I knew it was Tony, “Guess that’s my cue, goodbye.” I sent them a soft smile and a wave before I got in the car.
A few months passed by with ease with the Stark Expo taking up more time and paperwork than I could’ve imagined. I walked in one day to see Coulson in Tony’s office.
“Phil? Oh my gosh, it’s so good to see you! What’s got you across the country?”
“It’s good to see you too, kid. I’m here because S.H.I.E.L.D. is requesting Mr. Stark’s presence.” He spoke rather cooly about Tony, a stark contrast to his normal.
“TONY! Did you break the Geneva Convention?!” Tony looked at me speechless, feigning hurt I would even think of it, Coulson stood beside me struggling and barely holding back a chuckle.
“No, unfortunately not. ‘We’ need to borrow him, more specifically the ‘Iron Man’ suit. As I was saying before, we have a helicarrier waiting for your arrival.”
“Okay, Tony. Please, stop being a bitch and get your shit. You’re lucky they step in enough to keep you out of prison for some likely war criminal activity. Suck it up and grab your bags.” I walked to Tony’s desk and put down his coffee before walking into my office and grabbing the duffel I had stuffed in the corner of the room.
I walked back out, “Where’d you say the plane was?”
Coulson showed me to the plane where we waited for about twenty minutes before Tony walked over with his bags. We piled in and got up to the helicarrier, a giant airbase I was told was legal.
May was waiting for us on deck and showed me to my room before leaving me to unpack.
I had to have been walking through those damn near identical hallways for half an hour before giving up.
After yelling into my hands I spoke, to no one but myself, “How do people even get around these things? It’s a whole death trap, I swear.”
“Exactly!” A voice called out from behind me. I turned around to find a familiar face, Captain America, “I guess you don’t work here either?”
“Oh, um, no. You couldn’t pay me to stay on this thing.”
He laughed revealing a warm smile that fit his beautiful, angel-like face perfectly.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Steve Rogers.”
“Kyrie Eirsson- I’m Mr. Stark’s personal assistant.”
I saw his eyes widen in recognition at the second half, “Oh! You’re the person I’m supposed to find.”
“What? Oh, fuck, that’s embarrassing.” I held my face in my hands, my face flushing furiously, I moved my fingers to see the Captain’s face. He stood across from me, face turned away, fist in front of his mouth in a failing attempt to hide his wide grin.
“In any case, Stark’s having a fit without you on the bridge. Shall we?” He held out his arm for me to take.
“I disappear for what, forty-fifty minutes and he goes nuts without me, shocker.” I took his arm gleefully, laughing at how ridiculous the situation was.

Your yandere zag hcs are so JFNEJJCKDJF I love them sm I can't stop reading that post 💔
Could we permahaps have an outline of what would happen if Zag DID manage to get an afab mortal partner pregnant? His reaction and how it goes, etc?
heheh! ur ask could not have come at a better time, I'm replaying Hades rn!! <33 sorry i kinda went off on a tangent ehe 👉👈
(cws: a mere twinge of yandere zagreus, f!mortal!reader, canon-typical death mentions, childbirth, violence, a plot twist!)
It's during one of those escape attempts, which have become pretty routine by now, that he gets word from one of his godly relatives about what's happening on the surface. It'll probably either be Hermes or Athena delivering the news, the former more blunt and the latter breaking it gently to her cousin for fear that his heart may break. Those on Olympus have little to no idea about his rendezvous with you save Aphrodite, who supposedly can see the glimmer in his eyes that betrays a post-coital love affair--so while they know that Zagreus is in love with a mortal girl, they're shocked to find out that he's delighted to hear the news, because he knows that the baby is his and you haven't moved on to some other, more easily accessible lover. You're simply too loyal, and you've waited too long to ever consider pursuing another after your beloved. Word will spread quickly on Olympus after that first encounter with him in Tartarus, and the deliverer of said news watches in shock and awe as Zagreus zips around them and barrels straight through the next door before they can even help him with a boon. Because now starts the sprint--he has to get up there to be there for you.
It seems as though every floor he hits, he feels the presence of one of the gods helping him, and it only grows stronger the higher up he goes. Every so often when a boon appears, one of his relatives will be clamouring to congratulate him; Dionysus, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Zeus, even Ares has the smallest of smiles as he offers a particularly wrathful power to help him cut through the lakes of Asphodel and burn into the fields of Elysium. Each one of them is so excited for a new arrival, a new member of the family--except, of course, for Hades.
His father is absolutely appalled when the news reaches him via overhearing Hypnos, and in that moment of swiftly oncoming fury, Zagreus' journey to you immediately becomes ten thousand times as dangerous. He can't stop, he can't turn back, and he cannot die before he gets to you, because based on the tremors and the ominously encroaching dread at his back, Zagreus will be in for an eternity of suffering if he allows his father to stop him from seeing you. Even if it's the last time, he has to see you and his baby just once--he doesn't want to pass on his own tumultuous upbringing to his precious, innocent child, nor the feeling that their father has abandoned them completely. Between his godly relatives helping him out and his father doing everything in his power to sabotage him, this journey is the most perilous he's ever faced by far. And time is so nebulous in the Underworld, so he doesn't want to waste any second he has because they mean much more to you mortals up there than it does to a demigod down below--what if he falters, or fails, and he misses not only the birth of his baby but their whole childhood? What if he finally gets to the surface only to find that you've waited your whole life for him, and wasted away without an ounce of comfort simply because he couldn't get to you in time? He can't have that happen. He won't.
So up he goes, and not once does he stop. Meg takes it easier on him at least (though she never admits it) the Hydra falls as hard as it always does, and Theseus barely gets through half of his spiel before Zagreus is lunging at him to start the battle. Even the Minotaur is impressed at his fervor, though the reason won't be clear until Zagreus comes back--but they weren't the real challenges. Up there, when his flaming feet hit the snow-covered surface, he finally feels some surge of insurmountable pressure as he faces off against Hades himself.
And to say he fights for his life in the name of that sliver of freedom he desires is an understatement to the highest degree. Zagreus can barely get a hit in, his father is so furious--if not for Athena's shields and Zeus's lightning he probably would have lost his head about a dozen times. Hades is determined to stop him from not only meeting his own child, but to bar him from ever associating with you again, and one of those underhanded ways is to send his own courier ahead as a failsafe of sorts--and when Zagreus finds out that Thanatos is headed your way, he loses it. While it was meant to break his spirits, it has the opposite effect--his son is thrown into a rage so violent that even he can't withstand it, and when Hades has been slain Zagreus is pounding dirt as he sprints for your home, the path engraved into his head so deeply that he's on his way before his father even hits the ground. He remembers these hurried marathons to your home, the jubilant excitement at getting to see you and touch you and hear his name on your lips....but this time, it's panic that drives him forward as your garden comes into view, and he leaps over your rickety little fence to pound his shoulder into the door and burst into your tiny, quaint little cottage.
The first thing he sees, rather than you, is Thanatos standing near the door--and although he's already raising his sword with nothing but fear for you in his mind, his childhood friend doesn't bother even flinching, and just turns his head to cast a knowing look at him that betrays the truth of what he was told.
"Oh, please, Zagreus. Ruler of the Underworld or no, you know I cannot reap a soul before it has withered, no matter whether Hades wills it." He mutters quietly, and tilts his head towards the other end of the room that he's facing. And when Zagreus hurries closer to his side, and moves to look towards the spot where he knows your bed always sits, his heart is sent soaring into his throat at the sight that awaits him.
There's one thought running through his mind: I missed it. He missed the birth, and just by a hair, as evident by your mussed clothes and sheets as you sit back against your pillows, your lap covered with a blanket while you're still heaving with breath. And in your arms, flushed and cradled gently, is a gurgling little bundle of tiny features and your beautiful skin tone that Zagreus could never believe he helped make.
Your eyes soften so much at the sight of him, the sweetest "My love!" croaked out of your throat that draws him to move closer to your bedside. Joining you in the room besides the two of them is another woman, a stranger that seems to be a midwife from the local temple, and quite surprisingly three of his relatives; Aphrodite, Dionysus, and Zeus. While he himself is preoccupied with kissing you and taking his baby into his arms for the first time, and his cousins are joyously encouraging a wine-soaked feast and a celebration of your eternal love respectively, his uncle stands still and uncharacteristically quiet at your side, though a smile breaches his lips as he watches the two of you share tears and a sweet embrace as you're reunited once again.
"Is this..?" He whispers, voice cool though his touch is so warm--and fading, ever so slightly, as he sits on the edge of your bed with your child wrapped up in his arms.
"Isn't she beautiful, my love?"
She. A daughter. He couldn't be happier, couldn't be more proud of the little life in his hands, even though she's barely taken her first breaths and nothing else. To see her alive is victory enough, but the high isn't lasting as long as he'd like, and he's forced to pass the baby back to you as he starts shuddering and falling into that terrible feeling of dread in the pit of his chest. He's barely been able to hold her, barely been able to get to know her, to bask in her sweet, gurgling whisper of a voice and the feel of her tiny fingers gripping around one of his. It isn't enough, and it dawns on him now that it will never be enough.
"I...I must leave you waiting, once again..." His cousins are at his side in a moment, Aphrodite holding him up by one arm while Dionysus grabs the other, the two unusually sobered by the moment as your newborn starts to cry, and so do you. "I won't be long this time, my love...I...swear, I won't abandon you...or my little Melea..."
It's such a long time to wait, and the days grow more agonizing as each one passes, even with the shocking amount of information his cousins offer--it's surprising even for a relative for a god to spend so much of their time visiting you in the mortal realm, which may also be the reason why he hasn't seen hide nor hair of Zeus since that fated day. Perhaps he's quite busy stepping in for him in his absence, which Zagreus can only hope is a good thing.
When the dark, ill feeling finally overtakes him, and the voice of Zeus bellows something he isn't able to catch, Zagreus burns the image of you and his daughter in his mind as you hold his hand before he feels the warmth of Styx surround him entirely. The world above falls away, and even before he reawakens in the House after being carried by Thanatos, he braces himself with the knowledge that it may very well be a long, long time until he fulfills that oath to you two. It's despairing, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that his father will make it nigh impossible for him to get out again, and surely enough Zagreus suffers a great many deaths very close to the surface, almost in reach of you two--but each time he's thwarted more aggravatingly than the last. The only comfort he's allowed is to hear news of you and his daughter from the gods that were present for your daughter's birth, the two that more or less insisted on being the literal godparents of your baby girl. They regale him with tales of her exploits, of how she's fussy with peas but she can't get enough of mush carrots, how she once nearly rolled out of her cradle in the night, and how she even said her first word. And it stings Zagreus right in his heart when he's told what it is. Papa. You must be working in a frenzy to care for her alone, and yet you haven't let her forget the presence of her father even when he can't seem to get up to the surface to see her. It makes his clashes with his own father more violent, even though the two of them are no longer on speaking terms.
That all changes on a day like any other, however. When he jumps down into the lowest level of Tartarus, eager and ready for another try despite how weary it makes him, the potential boon waiting for him is unlike any of the ones he's encountered before. The handful of gods he's never really interacted with might have news for him, he thinks, or maybe had their curiosity piqued at their counterparts investing so much time in the mortal wife of a bastard demigod. But when he touches it, and the distinct sound of ticking fades in and out of his mind, he's confused more than curious as the image of the god slowly comes into view, like water rippling back into stillness once a stone has been thrown into it. Something else stirs up in him as well--the sounds of laughter, but smaller, sweeter, as if the voice of that jubilant person hasn't fully formed yet. And it's familiar. It dawns on him just in time of how familiar it is, when he hears that darling voice soothing him with a reassurance he hasn't felt in ages.
"Hello again, my love. It seems as though our wait is finally over, isn't it?"

Hey. Didn't Kurama kinda... Die?
It's a bit of an open question what dying entails for a creature consisting of consciousness imprinted on the life-energy that is chakra, but I'd say what he went through probably counts. I mean, he took the life-energy that he's literally made up of, smashed it into Naruto's life-energy hard enough to perform spirit-particle-physics, and used the new and exciting types of chakra this pseudo-quantum annihilation of their life-energy spat out to power some (admittedly pretty devastating) fisticuffs. It's literally called 'Baryon Mode,' as in it's named after a type of subatomic particle, like the type you would get smashing atoms together in particle accelerators in our world.
That must have produced some really interesting types of chakra, huh? Especially since the technique was still a bit rough, what with it being the first time Kurama was actually using the technique as opposed to just theorizing how it would work. It must have been like some of the first nuclear fission and fusion prototype experiments, where you don't know all the things you have to look out for yet so you just kinda wing it, but also use every safety protocol you can think of. Except they were pulling this out in the middle of a life-or-death fight so strike the safety protocols. That type of winging it must have produced some wild kinds of life-energy-particle byproducts, maybe even some life-energy-anti-particles...
Anyway, back from that tangent to what I was talking about. Kurama knowingly paid his own life- literally smashed the substance of his being into exotic high-energy spirit-particle soup, one piece of himself at a time, to provide fuel- sustaining total focus throughout the entirety of what must have been an extremely painful and emotional process through his absolute will to help protect his friend and their village. Something which he succeeded at in the moment, but did so knowing that other dangers would come for his friend and village, and that his job wasn't truly finished...
He's totally coming back as a ghost, isn't he?
Specifically, I bet the once beast of destruction would form as a protection spirit of all things, although he'd probably refuse to admit it.
So, please imagine, recently-formed ghost!Kurama, floating around the Zone while trying to get his bearings. He's used to working with/being composed of spiritual energy- and has been shown to have a pretty high-level understanding of spirit-energy quantum physics to even come up with Baryon Mode in the first place- so he probably gets the hang of it pretty quick. Maybe he decides he wants try to go back, see his partner again. Who's gonna stop him? You, floating eye-ball things? Hah! *Beast-bomb's repeatedly* He thinks the hell not!
And, oh look! A conveniently open portal back to the world of the living! Just gonna walk right on through that, find the nearest ninja village, and get directions back to the Leaf to check in on his friend.
Except this place looks less like a ninja village and more like a lab. It's not like any of the labs he's seen on infiltrate-and-decommission missions with Naruto either. The tech is all wrong! Some of it is way too advanced, other tools and techniques which he knows are absolutely basic standards (like seals for example) are missing entirely, and everything is absolutely saturated with anti-chakra to the point where he almost can't feel the difference from the world literally made of the stuff he just left! Something is deeply off about this place, it's like a whole different world from the one he died in.
The child attacking him is a point of familiarity though.
Eh, he'll cut the kid some slack. They're obviously in the kid's village after all, judging by all the buildings around when he phases through the roof with the kid hot on his tails, and Kurama has learned to admire the kind of spunk that it takes to so immediately put oneself in between a threat and its target. He'll even do the kid the favor of trying not to do too much property damage while they fight, since it quickly becomes obvious the kid is set on trying to chase him down. Seems he'll have to rough the kid up a bit before he can go exploring...
Ok, maybe he'll actually have to exert himself a bit. The kid is at least as durable as a Hidden Stone shinobi...
Ok, maybe he's going to have to actually try. The kid is taking everything he can put out- at least while still avoiding doing 'major' property damage- without budging, and then hitting back just as hard. That last punch even managed to stun him for a mome- shit! Is that some kind of Sealing Device!?
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! He is NOT getting sealed in some random person to be used as a Sage-Damned BATTERY again! He's NOT! He's absolutely N- DAMN IT!
Now he's gonna be shoved into some new random kid who's been brainwashed to think it's his duty to shackle the beast. Both of them used as nothing more than weapons until the chakra he leaks like a sieve when he's trying to contain it- and flows in a deluge when he isn't- slowly melts the poor bastard's soul. And it won't stop until they either rip him out- and kill the ex-host in the process due to traumatic soul injury- or until the probably blameless child is left a withered husk. Either way, his reputation as nothing more than a dangerous but powerful weapon, suitable only to be pointed at another bunch of 'enemies' and forced to rampage, will only be further cemented. He can't do that to another kid any more! Or another village full of civilians! He CA-
???
He's back in the place from before? The one from before he went through the portal? Completely free?
The kid just? RELEASED him? Just like that?
This calls for some recon to figure out what the kid's deal is, sneaky ninja style instead of rampaging beast style. Don't look at him like that! He spent long enough with Naruto to see the value of sneakiness as an option (mostly because Naruto couldn't manage subtle if it would save his entire village and Kurama saw how many headaches that caused for his advisors). Not to mention, he IS a Nine-Tailed fox spirit. He's got the cunning to learn and adapt.
One-and-a-half extended recon sessions later, and Kurama comes to a realization™. This is a teenager, yes. One with way too much power in his deceptively young frame. One who will take one look at someone in trouble, ask "is anyone gonna' help out with that?" and then not wait for an answer before devoting their entire soul to saving the person no matter who they are. One who's taken the responsibility for protecting their entire village onto shoulders which seem far too small to carry such a burden at all, much less so effectively. He's even all tied up with Clones for sage's sake!
It's like looking at a younger Naruto in far too many ways for him to just dismiss.
Kurama can't believe he somehow stumbled into another one! He also can't admit to himself that he's already decided to take the boy under his wing and pass on all those lessons he picked up by watching Naruto successfully lead a village for over a decade. Not that never admitting it will stop him from doing so, he'll just insist that it's for purely selfish reasons the entire time. Yeah! He's just getting the kid to trust him so he can eventually pump him for information on who's in charge and who can help him get back to his home dimension for a visit.
That's totally all this is...
Totally...
@hdgnj @babbling-babull @evilminji @nerdpoe @lolottes @freedomanddisorder @resetium @stargazer-luna
#I feel like Kurama would probably get the hang of ghost powers really quick#I imagine his special skill has to do with posession#Like he can give the chakra cloak already so some sort of twist on that

Epic! Also I love how much you love your ocs ehe. Its always awesome when you have an oc with a backstory and arc youre very proud of. Like i have one myself for whom i got a whole backstory and charafrer arc etc planned out in my head and he just stays in me head hehe. Its awesome to be proud of your characters!!
Rrrrrrr >/////////< You guys are making me blushhhh... Thank you so much!! Bringing the worlds in your head to life is so rewarding, honestly. I'd recommend it to everyone. Even if you "can't draw" (I personally believe that just about everyone can draw if they're motivated enough, but, I digress), just writing it out can be so fun and fulfilling... even if you never post it and just do it for yourself! I didn't start trying to do this until I was thirty, but I feel like my life would have been so much richer, and I would've had so much more catharsis at times that I needed it, if I had started doing this kinda thing sooner. Went on a bit of a tangent there, hehe... but again, thank you so much!💙

Whumpcember Day 22 - Seizures
"Ugh..."
Julia heard Adam utter an exasperated sigh coming from the front desk. He seemed to be annoyed by something. She approached him in case he needed a hand.
"You need help with something?"
Adam ran his hand through his hair. "Ugh... Yeah, I'm just... trying to figure out what to do for this stupid festival. Cesar is supposed to help me, but he's off doing god knows what."
"Oof. I know that feeling. Maybe I can help you out with that?"
"Yes, please! I would really appreciate that."
Julia went over to him and looked at the stack of papers. It appeared to be a map of the classroom.
"Okay, so I'm trying to figure out which event we should do for the festival. The problem is, we're a book club and people tend to view book clubs as boring and kinda pretentious. So we need something that draws them in. Something that'll convince them to join."
"Hmm... Do you think a poetry performance will do the trick? Some of the members reciting their own writing will probably draw them in. Maybe we should make some food as well..."
"Oh? What kind?"
"Well, I was thinking cupcakes or cookies. Maybe we could write each word on them. Give it some variety. Then, people can choose which word they like the most. And maybe we can put an inspirational quote on a banner too! Something about trying your best while writing."
Adam's eyes lit up. "Oh wow, you really know your stuff! I like that."
"Hehe, thanks. I uh, don't know if it's gonna work, though. I haven't really shared my baking with anyone before." She scratched the back of her head.
"Well, I'm sure your work will be fantastic." He chuckled. "Y'know, I kinda underestimated you for a second."
"Eh? What do you mean?"
"Well, I thought you joined because this club is full of cute boys."
"Please don't say it like that. I just want to help out my friend."
"Relax. I'm just teasing you. Honestly, you're even worse than Jonah sometimes. I'm impressed!"
"Ugh..." Julia buried her face in her hands.
"Right. The plans." Adam shuffled the papers in his hands. She looked at him as he worked. He looked like he was really into his craft. Despite him being vice president, he was acting more like the club president than anything. She had no idea where Cesar could be. He was probably just busy or something.
She let out a yawn. Man, when did I get so tired?
"Sleepy?"
She nodded. She rested her head on his shoulder as he continued to scan the map, muttering something under his breath. She felt her eyes begin to close and soon, she was fast asleep.
"Hello...?"
She opened her eyes. She expected to be in the club, but all she saw was darkness. Who spoke to her just now?
"Ces? Adam?" She called out.
"Julia..."
She blinked, trying to look for the voice yet again.
"Do you... remember me?"
That voice... She could've sworn she heard it somewhere, but her head was starting to hurt. It sounded so familiar, but she couldn't remember where she heard it from. It was like being in thick fog. A figure slowly approached her. It was wearing a grey hoodie and was wearing a cross necklace.
Cross... necklace...?
She looked at his face. It was completely blank and his neck... It had an ugly purple mark on it like he was...
He was...
She started to scream. The figure began to scream with her. He began to claw at his neck, blood covering his fingers. His eyes were more visible now. They were empty, glassy... dead.
Red, blue and green were all the colors she could see, blending together and morphing into something she could not describe.
The colors, they won't stop.
Bright, beautiful colors.
Flashing, expanding, piercing.
Red, Blue, Green
An endless
cacophony
of meaningless
noise
The noise, it won't stop
Violent, grating waveforms
Squeaking, screeching, piercing
Sine, consine, tangent
Like playing a chalkboard on a turntable
Like playing a vinyl on a pizza crust
An endless
life
of meaningless
R e m e m b e r m e.
"CESAR!! CESAR, GET THE FUCK OVER HERE!!"
She had fallen to the floor and was spasming, letting out an ear-piercing screech. Her limbs twitched violently, her head being thrown back in an awful manner. Adam just stared, not knowing what to do.
"Adam?! What's going- OH GOD, JULIA!!" Cesar dropped the papers that were in his arms and rushed over to her. "Get her on her side! And make sure no objects are in the way!" He turned to Jonah. "Jonah, you time the seizure!"
Jonah was stock still, but nodded. "O-Okay!"
Cesar and Adam turned her over, trying to ignore the look on her face. Her blue eyes were wide and terrified, still letting out a screech. Everyone just stared at the scene, horrified.
"Well, don't just stand there! Get the nurse!"
The triplets were frozen, although Julius had ran out of the club room, racing to the nurse's office. Cesar screwed his eyes shut.
I'm sorry, Julie... I'm so sorry...

I went on a tiny tangent that I figured deserved its own post so eh.
Team Natsu is probably one of my least favourite of the teams. I don't hate them but they aren't as interesting now as they used to be.
I enjoyed watching them when they had character arcs that I cared about. You know, Gray's unresolved trauma with Ur, Erza learning to be open with those around her, Lucy learning to stand up to her father. Those I enjoyed because they were good character arcs that actually got me feeling emotional.
Now, eh. Its kinda dropped off. Like Natsu has one of the most interesting concepts possible, He's a demon from the X300s who probably remembers dying to fire and is the younger brother of Zeref. Like that's such a cool concept. But nothing is done with it. Like yeah his relation to Zeref is brought up once or twice (which him using it against Alderon was definitely a smart move. Like I've said, he is smart but in his own way) but we never really address the whole, he's a demon thing again. Yeah Lucy rewrote his book but that doesn't magically make him human. And what exactly happened to the book? Is it tucked away in the guild library? His house? Dunno. Never mentioned.
My main issue with Gray is that he kinda just stopped with the creativity of his spells. Like maker mages can make whatever they imagine based around what they can do. (Lyon could make any animal, Gray any object and Rufus can combine an infinate amount of spells) Yet he sticks to the same 5 spells with some Devil slayer magic thrown in on occasion(which why is it canonically called Devil slaying magic when it slays demons. Why not just call it demon slayer magic?) Also I will say this over and over, I don't hate Juvia but I can't help but see Gray now liking her as him just being worn down. Like he was on and off constantly and its just.... Kinda uncomfortable.
I think I really dropped of the Erza bandwagon during the Alveraz arc after she destroyed an asteroid with only one arm that wasn't broken. Like that's one of the most op things ever and then her power level seems to have dropped slightly in 100 years. I know she's always been strong and such but that was a bit much for me (Alveraz was a pretty hit or miss arc anyway. Its not as focused as it probably should be and is full of too many fakeouts to keep the stakes high enough throughout. The good arcs are the ones where the stakes don't get absolutely hammered into the dirt with a metal stick. You know like almost all the arcs before it. All of them had some form of stakes that kept me on the edge but Alveraz ruined the stakes when anyone who was supposed to die didn't. Gajeel, Juvia, Makarov and Natsu all had last minute ass pulls to keep them alive or bring them back. (Natsu kinda makes sense since his life essence is the book Lucy rewrote and Gajeel I can give a slight leeway since he wasn't physically harmed and while Irene's spell was convient, it wasn't to do with Gajeel but Acnologia so I can forgive that. Juvia and Makarov rocked the boat though and that fake out with Anna and Ichiya was pretty cheap along. Lucy was never actually dead so that one doesn't count and Carla came close but she was suspended in time so I can believe that she'd live too)
With Lucy I'm half and half. I don't hate her (in fact I think she is pretty unfairly 'teased' a lot (Happy's weight comments come to mind when he's carried people who must weigh more than Lucy. He's carried Gajeel for one who I'm 100% confident is heavier than Lucy considering he is taller, more muscular and has a lot of hair. All things that would contribute to him weighing more than Lucy does. So really the comments are just not warranted or needed and its one of the running jokes I just can't get behind now like I did when I was younger) although 'teasing' seems to be common place for certain members of the guild considering Gajeel gets his own fair share of hurtful comments thrown his way. They aren't of the same nature, Lucy's mainly focus on her personality and appearance while Gajeel's are more focused on either his strength or his likes but still, both ways are mean) but like I don't have as much intrigue in her as other characters. Like she has a bit more to her than some other celestial mages (Sorry Yukino but the only time you are entertaining is in the twin dragons manga and anime only people will def not have read it. Make the dragon slayer side manga's into ovas or something you cowards) But like, I just don't get that excited overall with her.
Maybe its kind of telling that most of my favs are characters we rarely see. Like The sabers, the thunder legion, crime sorciere don't get as much focus after their original introductions. Like I'd love to see Gray interact with Bickslow or Freed at some point or Erza with Ever(even if it is petty fights, its fun to see) or even show Laxus interacting with his own team more often. That's what I enjoy most, the interactions so it kinda bums when we mainly stick to interactions with the main group. Its why I like the second split up in KOTSH because it actually has the characters work with someone else. (Shame we didn't get to see much of team ups like Freed and Gray) I liked seeing Erza being petty with Ever, Bickslow trying to protect Wendy only for her to insist that she protect him (the whole cow thing was funny) Gajeel and Juvia having drifted apart after bonding with others. It was fun and I wish to see more of it.

What you think of the new killer and survivor?
Mmkay, soo…
You might have seen people complaining that crows aren’t native to South America (The Artist is from Chile) and they are correct. BUT… That’s kinda the point. Those aren’t crows. It’s the Entity, grooming her new killer. It’s pretty tragic that Carmina was set up to fail from the beginning, and genuinely chilling that the Entity saw that potential in a child that hasn’t even had the opportunity to develop yet. I’m quite ignorant on the political aspect of things (I’m from the U.S.) so I’m not really going to comment on that, but I gotta say, having her hands and tongue cut out was just 🤭 Over all, I do like her and look forward to learning more about her
The survivor? Well… I really, really, really like that both Jonah and Carmina’s stories have sort of light eldritch horror aspect to them (the Entity following Carmina the duration of her short life and the numbers that haunted Jonah for his). But… Idk… The man’s employer (the fuckin CIA) not only committed war crimes, but tried to fucking ASSASSINATE him and Jonah went BACK to them!? Jesus Christ! I did like the Earth shattering realization of the numbers referencing him standing in that spot, at that exact moment, and it was foretold several decades ago.
Strangely enough, I sometimes wonder if it would be possible for some survivors to be failed killers, if that makes any sense. Like, despite the immense pressure that the Entity would place on them, instead of breaking into a thousand pieces they somehow persevere through, and that’s why they are survivors that have different “abilities” that are sometimes similar to killers? Even though it would be way easier for the killers to hunt completely helpless prey, the aren’t, even though the Entity should realistically have total control over her realms and what she decides to take. But maybe it’s just a “power of hope and friendship” thing that makes survivors survivors. 🤷♀️
Idk lol that’s just my two cents

Guyyys look at this :'3
#this is great i feel so loved and valued right now#also i just went for a walk with someone which enhances that feeling#but yeah for real this is so sweet#....it almost makes me feel guilty about not creating as much content lately (at least not of the variety that mx. pink is into)#eh i'll do stuff if/when the inspiration strikes me... not to mention the fortitude to commit to projects#but whatever i do going forward just know that everything nice everyone has ever done for me and everything nice you've ever said#really means a lot to me and always will#.....i know this seems like an overdramatic reaction for a funny kitty drawing im just kinda going on a tangent#because im in a weird headspace right now which has nothing to do with any specific person#anyway. good drawing. epic kitty moments

This includes two of the new AHWM egos (sorry Yancy stans). Imagine if Captain Magnum had a younger first mate, they would go on adrenaline causing situations where the Reader could get hurt but after that one accident they try to go on one Magnum got into protective dad mode. Illinois finds the reader all on their own because of them being a runaway, wandering around in the caves and after a bit of silence after they walk when they interact, they talk more about their lives Illy hc incoming-
Illy anon here! Sorry to post this even though it’s for our Captain.. - Continuing: When they talk more about themselves it goes to their interests, they are deep in conversation and suddenly Reader gets injured, so Illinois quickly picks them up and starts to make his way to the end of the cave, to be in an safe environment and he starts to bandage the wound (I’d imagine in his bag that he carries around he has medical supplies as well) and tries to take care of the kid so far.
I love this!! Magnum’s got an adrenaline junkie first mate who’s very good at their job but fuckin loves to do stupid shit that they call ‘exciting’ but Magnum calls ‘gonna kill ya if you don’t FUCKIN STOP’
and on one adventure they’re adventuring near the mainland and the first mate gets separated from Magnum in this massive wet cave system filled with water up to their waist in some tunnels and they’re sloshing around, a lil scared because idk if yall realize but cave systems are motherfuckin terrifying ok they’re practically the number one reason why missing people are never found, and they see some light ahead and they’re like!!!! people!?!!?! outside!!?!!? Let’s go!! and they splash up to it and it’s Illinois with an honest-to-god torch and they’re like ‘why the fire’ but also ‘HEY PERSON DON’T LEAVE ME’
And so they kinda explain their situation to Illinois and he’s like ‘hell yeah I’ll help u find your buddy and get the fuck outta here’ so they start retracing the first mate’s steps and looking for Magnum and along the way they start realizing ‘hey they’re kinda cute’ and because the first mate is staring at Illinois with stars in their eyes, they don’t notice the hole under the maybe two feet of water right where their foot is going and oh no they’ve either badly twisted their ankle or lightly fractured it because holyshit that hurts, and Illinois is v. concerned now because ‘cutie is hurt!!! what do???’ and so of course his solution is to carry them to a dry place and stabilize the ankle and it’s a fucking romance novel at this point and Magnum is only there as a catalyst to keep them together and moving. okay these two fucking saps probably would have found our big boi a lot sooner if they weren’t too busy staring into each other’s eyes and agonizing about whether it’s too soon to hold their hand.
#mod memento#i realize i kinda went on a tangent here but eh ive been dying to write something for days and this grabbed my brain#and started screaming at me so eh here u go

i just watched ep 41 and got literal chills again ugh, probably one of the best eps of the season because it offers so much even beyond the crazy good bey battle we get between free and sisco and lui and drum
the ep starts of with sisco scaring the asahi brothers into stop wasting their time fighting lol my first thought was that damn thats so in sisco's character he says the right shit without holding back lol, but looks like im proven wrong later on in the ep lol
then its drum and lui discussing their tactics for the battle! these two get along well and i think we all enjoy it coz its kinda unexpected? lui like this angry short stack lmao while drum's this wholesome cinnamon roll but i realise what brings them together is the intense way they deal things related to blading HAHA like please lui for real sent a heli after drum and brought him back to the his island JUST to ask him to team up LOL that was too much for me. my personal favourite was when lui squatted down to talk to drum lol like please would the?? shirasagijo?? lui?? squat down to talk to anyone? nah man i dont see it. but its really these little details throughout the show that shows us glimpses of how the legends that we use to follow so fervently in the previous season have changed and grown, just found it rlly sweet.
and then comes sisco and free talking while they ride the lift to go to the stadium. sisco opens first with saying "that was kinda out of character for me" which had me thinking wait isn't it actually like you?? but then i realised that i think evo sisco wouldn't even have bothered to talk to the asahi brothers, and he was actually helping them out in his own way, which was really cute haha. then he goes on to say that he didn't expect them to grow so much and that he was looking forward to battling them. when he asks free whether he felt the same free just went "hmm maybe, maybe not" (ISTG THIS CLOWN🤡🤡) and sisco laughed and went "acting all cool as per usual eh" UGH so nostalgic i can't take it
AND THEN the actual epic battle comes and the animation was great, they really know when to do it right. the way lui and free use the same lines against each other gave me chills man i'm really happy they explored their rivalry from evo more in sparking, from pairing them up together in the legend festival and stating that they were a legendary pair up, to making them face off against each other now, all their moments really delivered.
CHILLS MAN CHILLS
i actually didn't remember who had won this one and to me i realised it doesn't really sit well with me if either free or lui won, because their rivalry is so neck to neck i couldn't even imagine any of them winning. and i was right thankfully, because they knock each other out of the stadium at the same time, (they showed the audience watching with anticipation in slo-mo right before the beys touch the floor simultaneously, i was literally at the edge of my seat ahhh) with satan still standing after they do so, slowly coming to a stop. so glad to see sisco win after his entire arc earlier in the season.
and finally we have the lead up to the asahi brothers vs rantaro and valt (ok side note but i finally figured out why it felt so weird typing out rantaro i realised no one uses his name in the show HAHA its always kumicho, also this season is just an excuse to give us the most epic battles of all time lol i remember in the previous set of match ups when it was valt and rantaro vs lui and drum at the end it was just lui and valt facing each other which gave me deja vu of the nationals back in s1 :') but surprisingly they didn't put much emphasis on this one as compared to other legendary face offs, hmm i wonder whyy, do yall got any idea?)
OK that was way off tangent but tbh they didn't really start that battle this ep and i didn't watch 42 yet so i don't have much to say, except for how pumped rantaro was for the match, he even said that he was the most pumped amongst all of them and the bombers was like shookt about how hyped he was, sisco even called him an idiot for grinning so much LMAO (but sisco was also smilling ur ass of when u were saying that hMMmMm) can't wait to see how that battle goes because i have short term memory and forgot who won👌
anyways thats my review of sparking ep41! when i was looking through my posts around the end of last year and realised i said i would analyse this i thought nahh i probably won't be watching that ep anytime soon, so i'm really glad i did! and since this is probably my longest post(or maybe the one on rantaro that i posted recently now that i look at it, but these two are def my longest) i wanna thank yall for reading through my stuff! i'm not sure if yall like this kinda content and honestly i started this blog so i could read through my own favourite moments in bbb, because it's something that's really close to my heart, but i decided to tag it anyways since i realised we don't have content anyways, so i wanted to contribute some myself too? either way, thanks so much for sticking around!
see yall soon!
#beyblade burst#beyblade burst sparking#sisco karlisle#free de la hoya#shirasagijo lui#kiyama rantaro#also this is my 50th post! took nearly 2 years lol

It’s a very very odd request, but I’ve had this specific scenario inside my head for what feels like 20,000,000 years and I need someone else to think about it. (This is for all the twins)
I’m imagining a friendly battle between characters and s/o, and they manage to put s/o in a corner, and force them to send out Silvally, and character is like: “>:o Pokémon never before seen in my life!!” Then after the battle ends they go on a tangent where they explain that their mother is Lusamine absolutely insane. Like a “wow I thought my life was bad why did your mom control your eating habits and clothing?!?”
Bonus points if they still wear ‘elegant’-esque clothing because it’s a habit.
Oof. Lusamine.
More like.
B-word.
Oof. I honestly don’t know much about Lusamine, besides her hating her kids or something- (like, forcing her kids to do things like behave normally and punishing her kids if they do a bad. Besides in the anime, she’s actually kinda nice there for some reason-)
So I'm sorry if I get something wrong- ;w;
Hm. I'm not sure if I should leave a warning, since we're technically talking about a mom being like Lusamine. Like, there's nothing extreme below this. But I suppose it's for those who aren't comfortable talking about Lusamine's parenting thing.
Eh. I'll put it just in case. But just know that it's not really THAT angsty and it's mostly for those who aren't comfortable with the existence of Lusamine and her parenting skills.
Sordward
Oh dear God, what is that thing- (the best way he can describe it that it’s a griffin or something. Like, those bird/lion looking things.)
Like, the Pokemon probably made him flinch since he has never seen it before. He’s just in awe of it, since it doesn’t look healthy to be around it at all- (but eh, it’s your Pokemon)
So after the battle ends, he'll probably ask you about it. Like, what is that Pokemon and where did you even find it??? Is it even in the Pokedex??? And that’s probably when you go on a tangent about your mother being a sociopath or something. He didn’t ask but okay-
Okay, for real though, he doesn’t handle serious discussions like this well since… he has difficulty showing that he cares, even if he can relate to what you’re saying. His parents were shitty, kinda like the same way you describe your own situation.
Like, this sounds horrible. It really does. And he does want to do something about it, but what exactly? He’ll either offer you help (like, offering you to stay with him) or commit a felony against this mean b-word.
Shielbert
… Okay, first of all. You must be pretty weak for letting this man corner you in a Pokemon battle. I’m just saying- (just use a simple fire-type move man-)
But uh. He has never seen a Pokemon like that before. Surely it’s a one of a kind thing, like a Mythical/Legendary Pokemon. And he’s kind of scared to fight it, but he’ll continue onwards-
You probably beat him because even a 2-year-old can do so. But eh, he still had fun, and he hopes you did as well. So you guys talked, and you mentioned your mom or something-
I mean, his parents aren’t overly great people. They’re literally like your own mom. Even his mom controls what he did and all that. Even his clothing option is a bit of a habit to wear at this point. And so for you, I suppose.
Of course, this is upsetting to hear that you’ve been through similar stuff like him. Only difference being that he’s sort of free while you’re perhaps still suffering. He would offer you to stay with him, as a safe space and to get away from that woman, but he won’t force you. It’s your choice in the end.
Emmet
Okay, so that Pokemon, Silvally, he has never seen it before but it looks edgy and ridiculous at the same time- (edgy bird cat fish Pokemon go uwu)
Like, he kinda wants to touch it. Or at least pet it, but it looks like it has at least 58 diseases and about 97 mental illnesses. He’s just joking, of course, he’s not actually insulting the thing-
And you kinda went on about your mother being Lusamine version 7.8. Which kinda explains a lot since you sort of have a pattern; like, eating specific food and wearing stylish clothing. No offense, but he did notice that.
… I mean… It’s sort of difficult to top what he experienced as a kid. But I suppose it ends with what you consider worse; being abandoned by your parents or being treated terribly by your parents.
So… he’s not sure what to do here. I mean, you could stay or live with him since I’m sure Ingo would understand your situation. But it’s your choice. I think the best thing he can do now is listen to you.
Ingo
Honestly, he knows a lot about Pokemons. And Silvally is probably a Pokemon he has never seen or heard of before, which would be a rare scenario. The only Pokemons he wouldn’t know about would be those who are in secret or from the past/future.
He’ll definitely ask you about Silvally once the Pokemon battle ends. Like, where did you find it and such? Is it even considered a Legendary/Mythical Pokemon since it’s technically one of a kind- (and then the explaining mom thing happened-)
I mean, his parents… were okay at first. But after figuring out what they did to Emmet was actually criminal, so he never forgave them for that. So it’s not like they’re great people. Compare to your family situation, his situation looks like nothing-
He… doesn’t exactly tolerate this sort of parenting; where a parent controls literally everything about their kid, like clothing and food. Although he knows that there’s no guidebook on “how to be the best parent”, he knows when the line is crossed. They’ve been cases where he witnessed this sort of thing within the subway, which upsets him.
But he knows that this sort of stuff isn’t his business, he’s just a train conductor. But I suppose that he can at least TRY to do something since it’s kind of his job to assure that everyone is safe. Most he’ll do is ask if you can stay with him a bit longer than usual (or live with him, your choice) to keep your mom away from you.

was going to reblog but then i went on a tangent so i wont make their day any worse
I was kinda Eh on this laughing at the antis about this but no youre right--why reblog? Why subject yourself to gems blog instead of just blocking? Why subject your own followers to the fact that proshippers interacted with your post at ALL? Why did you have to announce to your followers that you think people who ship .... cartoon turtles.... should die?
Doesn't it feel performative? Doesn't it feel like clout chasey, just a little bit? Does it reinforce your relationships with your friends? Hoping that other's die? Is being in that kind of community fullfilling? Do you feel welcomed and loved at all times? Do you never feel like you're walking on eggshells? Like you're never just one risqué tv show/movie take away from being kicked out and bad mouthed by all the people you once called friends?
Its so fuckin frustrating looking at antis these days. Like im sure by now most of yall know i used to be a pretty hardcore anti, so like. Yk ive BEEN there, ive seen both sides of the fence, and its so. Its maddening bro. The shit peoole are willing to put themselves through for the sake of belonging. For having an easy way to consider themselves good people.

So like
Ehe I'm a female and I still interact w/ ur blog because it's interesting
And Male reader isn't much different than reading Fem reader
Idk I don't actually put myself in the story when I see x reader I just put an OC or a blank slate person
I'm actually kinda fine being called he/him sometimes but I'm prettttyyy sure I'm a girl?
Gender is weird and my Chinese exam is in a few hours so eh-
Oh yeah Gorou is really handsome. I just realized that last night. My sister and I are simping over his abs oh my gosh-
I'm gonna get back to trying to study for Chinese see ya-
Hm, I've thought of this type of situation before, personally it doesn't affect me much to know that females have interacted/interact with my blog whether it being intentional or not, though it does still irk me a tad bit, not enough to put a 'females dni' mark on my rules but still
However I do disagree that male and fem reader stories aren't much different, there really isn't that much male reader content to go around so it's natural that i've read fem reader fics before due to just being bored and desperate (most not even stating it was fem reader aligned and some even tagged as male/gender neutral reader yet still using female pronouns and attributes), that said.
There's almost zero to no actual way to go around it (of course this absolutely isn't every single one, i'm just stating my personal experience with them) but in the ones i've came across with there's always defining traits in them that just bring you straight out of any kind of immersive thoughts you had prior, sometimes even for the people it's supposed to be meant for,
i.e, "You slid your hand through your long, straight hair", "The dress hugged at your slim, curvy body", etc, I've even seen these exact same lines used in multiple works tagged and stated as 'gender neutral'
Again, i'm not saying that every fem/gn fic i've come across had these issues but it's still enough to be a problem, especially if you try to think about how many times you went on a piece marked as female or gender neutral and the author used male pronouns or anything alluding to the reader being male
Sorry for such the long tangent but these are just my thoughts on it
#also i think it's kinda the same for most peopel too#y'know instead of picturing yourself as 'y/n' you imagine some type of self character insert of an oc#also yeah gender is a pretty touchy subject#i think everyone has a different view on it just some peoples' are really similar#GOOD LUCK ON YOUR EXAM!<33#HOPE YOU DO WELL#I can imagine that chinese is a really tough subject so i'm routing for you!#AND OMFG YES#GOROU IS JUST SO 💞💞💞💞#OH-#I think a good way of studying is to revise for about 10-20 minutes#take a small break#then instead of going back to study you do a small test on yourself based on everything you just reviewed#and even on answers you get correct after#if you were kinda struggling to answer then just go through it one more time and find a way to remember it#that's usually how i do it most of the time and it tends to work#it's actually the same way how i remembered colours in spanish#i associated Azul from Twisted Wonderland to the colour blue so whenever i thought about it then his name#would pop into my head immidiately and i'd remember the answer#anyways#GOOD LUCK!<3333333
