Sleepwear

- This outfit is Morro’s pajamas from the start of the series to current.

- The moons are both to represent y’know, nighttime, but also as a way of foreshadowing the Macaque connection in the later seasons.

- Morro let’s their hair down when they sleep

- The shirt text says “Great Sage Equal to Heaven” I think I hope I’m not fluent in other languages so I really pray that I got that correct. The shirt references Morro’s love of JTTW, and the character of Wukong within the book

- Morro uses face masks when he sleeps. Hey, if they have to have skin again, they wanna take care of it. Ish.

Work Uniform

- The outfit changes between seasons since Morro gets new looks, but the constants of it are the jacket and the gloves.

- Morro swaps out the hand wraps because he feels more sanitary wearing gloves. And because I feel like it would make people unsure about him handling food.

- Occasionally Morro will throw on other pants? But idk I wasn’t sure what to go with so I just did their final design clothing.

“Take Responsibility” episode

- Finally have a name for that fan episode I mentioned where Morro has a crisis!! Takes place in season 1. Thank you @randomcrapstories !!!!

- The only thing that’s different about the outfit here is the addition of the jacket, which I still haven’t decided if I want it to be a gift from MK and Mei, or Morro just straight up stole it. Still, it shows us the base design for the jacket as it appears later in the series!!

Theatre Outfit

- During the in-between point of season 3 and 4, Morro actually starts helping out Macaque with his theatre! Morro’s a stagehand; they do a lot of the special effects and such.

- This outfit is mainly just me putting Morro in cool looking clothes hehe

- It’s identical to Mac’s outfit in most ways! I changed the shoes tho, and the colors. And the patterns on the robe and sleeves are different too!

- Eyeliner because it’s fancy

Shadow Travel

- I’ve mentioned before how Morro is learning shadow magic from Macaque; the basics that Morro knows are kinda just like. Being able to hide inside of shadows, manipulating them on walls and stuff, and also those shadow portals.

- Macaque has a shadow form, and so does Morro. But this isn’t a clone form or anything, that will be its own design. This is just for like…idk. Shrouded in shadows and whatnot.

- I highlighted the two most important features of Morro in this au: the eyelashes and the scar. The scar is its own important thing; the eyelashes are just a style choice on my end.

Season 3 Lantern City Outfit

- This outfit is for that episode in season 3 with the third ring!!

- The jacket makes an appearance once again! Except now Morro has personalized it much more. Patches and pins and stuff.

- The gloves Morro has on were made by Sandy; Sandy didn’t want Morro to get cold lol.

- And ofc Morro’s markings on full display since they weren’t able to cover them in season 3

OKAY! Spoilers for Original Final Fantasy VII discussion of Rebirth! This is your only warning.

Cloud remembering Zack was a real surprise... even if he remembered wrong. Well, I'm sure in another world that's exactly what did happen, but not to this Cloud. I did love Tifa being all "I'll let Aerith know, okay????" because she knows Cloud's not got it right...

I really like that they're playing up the degradation angle with Cloud, even though that's not what it is. S Samples INDEED. It's been a minute since I played Crisis Core, but I also think that's why Zack didn't experience degradation. Of course, he also died sooooo...

When you're talking with Biggs, it's like he's from the main remake timeline whereas Zack is from the alternate universe. Initially I thought maybe they were dead in the lifestream, but of course that didn't make sense... And how Cloud can see into that other world in his dreams... but it's also not the one he winds up in near the end, because the only way to keep track of what universe we're all in is based on Stamp the dog. I think we've seen four variations now?? Maybe five? Because when Zack makes his choice in the tunnels, he creates another alternate world. UGH SO GOOD.

Oooh, but the opening flashback where you see hints of the REAL Cloud under the mask... So subtle. So good.

Evil Cloud. Evil, Sephiroth-quoting Cloud who kills indiscriminately. YEEEEEEEES. He was so ready to straight up murder Elena daaaaaaayum.

I love that they're really playing up how unstable and genuinely dangerous Cloud is to be around. The real Cloud is in there somewhere, but he's so lost. And the ending where he's chatting away to Aerith even though she's dead... although that did also undercut how impactful that part of the original was. The part where Sephiroth tells him he doesn't have any feelings because he's a puppet and Cloud fights back against that was lost in Rebirth because we flick between realities - including one where Cloud murdered her (at least that's what it looked like to me). Ultimately, I do like the ending, but the original did it better. Honestly, it will be easier to figure out how far they're taking that once we play the final part of the remake. I understand they have to pace a three part remake very different because in the original you just... carry on to Icicle Inn.

...seriously though, does he think she's alive???? Because it really feels like he thinks she's alive... which, well, I guess we'll see him mourn later.

The way they're really foreshadowing how Cloud is ultimately the most successful robed figure - albeit without the robe - because Hojo considered him to be a failed experiment. Again, it's in the original, but they're able to really expand on it here.

Oh - another minor complaint but still: did not like that we can't go upstairs in Shinra Mansion. Another part of the original I loved. But LOL at the door code. I SEE YOU, SQUARE ENIX.

The sidequest with the dude who makes a weapon for Barret and says that someday Barret might not need the gun any more. Nice nod to Advent Children.

Speaking of Advent Children, which obviously at this point in the remakes isn't canon, but with Cloud being so out of it re: Aerith it kinda takes away the whole him coming apart because of his depression and guilt in AC.

Hey, SE, while you're busy remaking stuff, wanna update those graphics on Advent Children? I always forget how GREY it is until I watch it again. And Cloud has such pretty eyes in the remakes!

Just as I did with the previous Book 7 updates, here's a summary of Book 7 Part 4 events and how they'd go with my Yuu.

Alright, so picking up where Part 3 left off, Yuu is in a bit of a dangerous situation since Lilia, whom she quickly realizes has no idea who she is for whatever reason, is pointing his weapon at her after having confronted her due to him recognizing that she's not a normal human.

After confirming that she can't be a soldier due to her lack of professional training, Lilia is now assuming she's an non-professionally trained assassin for hire or something along those lines since that would explain why she has the fighting skills she does and has the kind of eyes that only a experienced warrior would despite her young age.

Sebek/Silver/Grim are naturally very confused by this turn of events and are quick to try to come to Yuu's defense, but Lilia immediately silences them since he doesn't want to hear their excuses.

Since she really doesn't wanna give Lilia a reason to continue attacking her, Yuu takes a moment to collect herself before denying Lilia's accusation that she's an assassin, child soldier, or anything of the sort.

However, she does confirm that he's right about her possessing a lot of fighting experience and says she can't blame him for jumping to the conclusions he has, all things considered.

Because she obviously doesn't want to just spill all the details about her past, Yuu tells Lilia that her fighting experience is the result of her having to fight to survive her whole life. Surely, a clearly experienced warrior like him can understand that kinda position since it's not like she's the only person to ever grow up under such dire circumstances.

Upon hearing that and recognizing that she's telling the truth, Lilia settles down a little since her explanation supports the skills she possesses since they really are the result of her continuously fighting for her life day after day.

In the background, Sebek's clenching his fists and getting a little misty-eyed because of Yuu's past circumstances, cause he understands he has only seen the very tip of the iceberg.

Meanwhile, Silver and Grim, who don't have the kinda info that Sebek does about Yuu, are understandably surprised/confused/saddened by everything they've heard.

Silver realizes that Lilia must have picked up on this early on, which is why he was drawn to Yuu since Lilia would surely understand the kind of circumstances she went through.

Now that Lilia knows Yuu isn't as serious a threat as he first thought, things play out like in canon where he demands an explanation for why Yuu and the others are there since he still sees them all as suspicious trespassers.

The next canon divergence happens when Yuu's group has to fight Lilia in order to get him to allow them to stay with him.

Just as she typically does in battles, Yuu takes care of the strategizing and leads the guys. She asks Silver and Sebek to be the main ones confronting Lilia cause they understand him best and are the ones who are the most trained for this kinda combat.

(While in canon Sebek disapproves of anyone telling him what to do, aside from Malleus/Lilia/Baul, he is willing to follow Yuu's instructions by this point in the timeline since he trusts her a lot and knows she's best suited for leading in these types of situations.)

While Grim stays back at tries to support with his magic whenever he can, Yuu uses her Quirk to predict Lilia's movements and uses that info to support Sebek and Silver.

Naturally, the battle is still a difficult one cause of how powerful Lilia is, but in the end, thanks to Yuu's group's great teamwork, they're able to knock off Lilia's mask like in canon, much to Lilia's and Baul's surprise.

(I know the localization says Baur but I do not like how that looks at all, so Grandpa Zigvolt will always be Baul to me lol 😂)

From there, things proceed like in canon, with the only difference being that Lilia questions Yuu's abilities to predict his movements since that clearly wasn't magic but something different altogether.

Figuring she may as well be honest, Yuu tells him how she ended up at NRC after coming from a different world where super powers exist.

While Baul thinks she's insane and is skeptical, Lilia surprisingly enough believes her since there really is no other explanation for the feats she pulled off earlier, and he can tell just from looking into her eyes that she's not lying.

Plus, Lilia just can't be bothered to make a big deal about this when he has more pressing stuff to worry about, so he just goes along with Yuu's bombshell like he does letting her group join him lol

Another change from canon is that Yuu realizes who Baul is at the same time Sebek does cause she has heard him talk so much about his beloved grandfather.

Plus, there's no denying their familial resemblance. Yuu is quick to say how much the two look alike, like Grim, much to Baul's annoyance.

During the exchange between Sebek and Baul, Yuu is very sympathetic toward her son since she knows it must hurt him to see his beloved grandpa be so against the idea of them possibly being related, not to mention the fact that Baul keeps calling him "human" like Sebek always does to all the humans in his life.

It's especially painful for her to watch Sebek back down when he's unable to admit his father is a human. She really wants to step in on his behalf, but she knows it's not her place.

That's why she instead just moves closer to Sebek and offers whatever subtle comfort she can, which, while he doesn't admit it, he really appreciates.

The next canon divergence happens once everyone starts moving, because Yuu just can't stop herself from asking Silver about him referring to Lilia as his dad, which has happened more than once, making her believe she surely can't just be misunderstanding/mishearing him.

So the Lilia is Silver's father reveal happens earlier than it does in canon.

Even though she saw this coming once she heard Silver say "Father" multiple times, Yuu still is amazed by this revelation, but at the same time, she realizes it makes perfect sense, considering how much Silver clearly adores Lilia and how much Lilia dotes on Silver.

Honestly, she's more astounded by the fact that she didn't put two and two together on her own lol

After that discussion, Yuu and the others learn about the ironclads and Silver Owls, and the discussion of fae language happens like it does in canon.

Like Silver, Yuu can't understand the fae language, but she can recognize it since Malleus/Lilia have spoken it to show her what it's like before.

When Sebek gets all smug about being able to understand the language, Yuu sincerely praises him and gets him all flustered, which was her intention from the start lol

From there, things play out like in canon with Lilia ordering the NRC students to take care of the ironclads they soon end up coming across.

Just like with the battle with Lilia, Yuu takes the lead, although she refrains from using her Quirk since she can tell the ironclads are a lot weaker than her and her friends.

Quickly, she can recognize that her opponents are the type to run once the going gets tough. That's why she strategically has her team back the ironclads into a corner and cut off all their possible escape routes.

As a result, Yuu's group is able to defeat the ironclads and keep them from running off without Lilia having to interfere like how he does in canon.

This leads to Lilia commenting that, despite never having been on a battlefield, Yuu doesn't act like she's new to it. He adds that as long as she keeps an eye on the other members of her group he won't have to worry about punishing them for getting in his way.

Yuu quickly realizes that this is Lilia's way of subtly praising her since he's obviously not as honest during this period of his life as he is in current time, and she finds it rather amusing since his behavior is much like what she'd expect from a NRC student.

Since using the NRC students worked out well for him the first time, Lilia decides to continue making use of them, especially since he deems Yuu's strategical skills to be especially useful.

Regarding the scene where fairies heal the party, that plays out like in canon except the fairies actually approach Yuu and fly around her, catching Lilia and Baul off guard.

Despite their normal wariness around humans thanks to the Silver Owls, these fairies still act friendly toward Yuu, like the NRC fairies, since, as shown in my Fairy Gala fic, she's a fairy magnet lol

Plus, these fairies can sense that Yuu has come into contact with a lot of fairies, and all these fairies have either blessed her or left an indication, that only other fairies could see, that she is someone they like.

That's another reason why Lilia is less wary around Yuu, although he can't completely sense everything the tiny fairies can, since I feel like he's more sensitive to blessings from nocturnal fae than blessings from all fae in general.

(I just like the idea of that being one way the separate species of fae differ. Like they can all sense things related to the kind of fae they are but certain things are harder for them to pick up on due to their differences, if that makes sense.)

When Silver mentions Yuu's popularity with the NRC fairies, Baul is dumbfounded since she's just a human! Why would they treat someone like her so favorably?!

Meanwhile, Lilia's just silently intrigued, and for some reason, he's feeling strangely proud? (That's the real Lilia showing his colors like the proud dad he is XD)

Not long after the group parts ways with the fairies, they find the Silver Owl's camp, and things proceed like in canon.

However, because Silver knows how strong Yuu is, he doesn't tell her to stick close to him but instead just asks her to be careful.

Meanwhile, Sebek orders Yuu not to do anything reckless since he knows how she can get, and while he won't admit it out loud, he doesn't want anything to happen to her.

Yuu is quick to thank them both and promises that she'll be careful since, as Silver pointed out, there's no telling what could happen to them in this dream if they got seriously injured and she really does not wanna find out firsthand.

As far as the battle for taking the camp is concerned, that happens like in canon because Lilia and the Royal Guard have things taken care of, Lilia especially.

Since she doesn't want to get in their way, Yuu stays off to the side and recommends her friends do the same unless they see an opening in which they could provide crucial aid to Lilia's group.

Instead of physically contributing, Yuu decides to be helpful by loudly pointing out all the ironclad's weaknesses, such as weak points in their armor which she has been studying since her first encounter with an ironclad since it's just second nature for her to find and exploit her opponents' weaknesses.

Thanks to her helpful input, it doesn't take long for Lilia's group to defeat the Silver Owls and send them running.

From there, things proceed like in canon with the only change being that Baul questions how Yuu figured out the ironclads' weaknesses so quickly, to which she explains how she's been studying them from the start and that she has a knack for this sorta thing.

Baul is impressed but of course would never admit as much and instead just says that he doesn't mind if she makes herself useful but she better not get cocky since she's still only a human!

Yuu is naturally very amused by how similar Baul is to his grandson, and her amusement only grows when she sees that Sebek gets a little jealous seeing her getting attention from his beloved grandpa as well as from Lilia who tells Yuu to keep making herself useful so he won't regret allowing her to stick around.

Later on, when the topic of dinner gets brought up, Yuu's group all collectively panics at the prospect of Lilia cooking since they all are familiar with how dangerous Lilia's cooking is.

In regards to the whole eating rats and lizards topic, Yuu actually doesn't mind the idea. While that's not something she'd go out of her way to eat, she knows beggars can't be choosers, especially not on a battlefield, so she'd be willing to eat anything given to her, except Lilia's cooking lol 😂

Yuu is quick to volunteer to cook for everyone, claiming that her homestyle cooking is just what this weary group of soldiers needs since there's nothing that rejuvenates a person who's away from home more than food that has that homecooked feel.

Silver and Sebek also volunteer to help her, so she doesn't have to do all the cooking by herself, and they also help with keeping a close eye on Grim and his wandering paws lol

Lilia allows them to do the cooking like in canon, and Yuu has to fight to keep herself from laughing when Silver gets so shocked after Lilia claims to have a sensitive palate 😂

With Yuu, Silver, and Sebek working together, they're able to make a great dinner that's well-received by Lilia and the soldiers like in canon.

Not used to the kind of cooking that has a "mother's homecooking" feel to it, Lilia is really surprised by the dishes that Yuu makes, but he can't deny that they're just as good as Yuu proudly claimed they would be.

Regarding Baul's reaction to the food, he tries to refuse eating it cause humans made it like in canon, but while Sebek is willing to back down, Yuu has no intention to do so, not when her son's grandpa's stomach is growling so loudly and will surely not be satisfied with simple rations.

That's why Yuu brings out some teary puppy dog eyes and asks Baul if he really is gonna refuse the food she worked so hard to make for everyone, making Baul twitch since I HC that despite him having a dislike toward humans I'm sure he was raised to be a gentleman toward girls, at least to the degree that making a girl cry would make him uncomfortable.

Yuu goes on to say that she really thought Baul was more of gentleman, the kind of guy who would make his mother proud by treating ladies well and never wasting gifts or another person's hardwork.

Basically, Yuu really lays it on thick with Baul whose defenses are slowly wearing down, much to Lilia's amusement and Sebek/Silver's surprise/amazement.

In the end, Baul finally gives up because there really is no winning against Yuu when she's bound and determined to get someone to eat, although it also helped that Grim was happily going into great detail about how delicious all the food he was eating was, which just made Baul's stomach growl even louder lol

Regarding the conversations that follow dinner, they mostly play out as they do in canon.

Yuu is surprised when she finds out about the missing delegates and also really suspicious for obvious reasons, even more so when she learns Malleus's dad was a part of that missing group.

She's also surprised and really amused when she hears about Maleanor. Malleus really does take after his mother 😂 She also finds all of Lilia's comments about her amusing since it's clear Maleanor keeps him on his toes lol

Also, regarding Lilia going to NRC, Yuu supports Silver's belief that Lilia would benefit from going to their school and says she has no issue with sticking around no matter how dangerous Lilia's mission is.

Upon learning that Maleanor has an egg, Yuu is understandably shocked cause this is supposed to be around 400 years in the past yet she learned from Malleus that he's less than 200 years old, so she's puzzling over this at the same time as Silver.

(She's not surprised about Malleus being born from an egg, however, since she had heard Lilia and Malleus make comments implying as much in the past.)

However, eventually, Yuu finds herself focusing on the fact that Lilia said dragon eggs won't hatch without the love and magic of their parents which leads to her coming to the horrifying realization that Malleus must have lost his parents before he hatched, which is why his egg didn't hatch sooner, although that begs the question of how he hatched at all if his parents were out of the picture.

After Lilia/Baul go to sleep, Yuu shares her thoughts with her friends, even though she'd much rather keep such a horrible depressing theory to herself, and everyone gets really quiet/somber since they can't deny that it's a reasonable explanation.

As a result, they all end up eventually turning in for the night with heavy hearts and in Sebek's case teary eyes.

After that, things proceed like in canon.

The only slight difference is before the group heads out the next day Yuu asks Lilia if she can keep one of the swords the ironclads left behind since, while she prefers fighting hand-to-hand, one never can be too prepared. Plus, thanks to Silver's training, she's decent at wielding a sword, although Silver/Sebek are still far more skilled in that area.

Lilia gives her his permission since he has no interest in using a weapon that was once wielded by a human, and neither would his men, so she might as well make use of it.

So, from then on, Yuu has a sword strapped on her back, which she'll only use when a situation calls for a weapon, since she's more comfortable fighting hand-to-hand.

From there on, things proceed like in canon with the group heading for the Howling Canyon and fighting off Silver Owls whenever they come across them.

During the battle with the excavator, Yuu helps out by studying the machine and pointing out the areas in its armor that are the most likely to be weak points, which helps their group in eventually defeating it.

Aside from that, there's no major change from canon, and the following conversation with Lilia about Raverne is also the same, although Yuu has already figured out that Raverne is Malleus's dad, unlike the others, by that point.

The only thing I'll add is Yuu does her best to comfort Sebek when he gets all emotional once he hears about Raverne since she can't sit by when her son's upset.

Regrettably, despite Yuu's efforts, things still happen like in canon where Sebek wants to remain in the dream so Lilia/Malleus can be happy, resulting in the darkness showing up and swallowing him.

Yuu naturally panics and screams Sebek's name when he disappears in the darkness, but sadly, she gets no reaction from him, so all she can do is use the ring she got from Malleus to keep the encroaching darkness at bay while Silver/Grim use their magic to fight it off.

Thankfully, like in canon, Silver is eventually able to use his ring to summon a light powerful enough to banish the darkness.

Once Sebek comes back into view, a tearful Yuu quickly embraces him and scolds him for scaring/worrying her, to which Sebek guiltily apologizes since he hates seeing her looking so upset, especially when she's upset cause of his own actions.

While in canon it's Silver who talks to Sebek and helps Sebek see reason, Yuu also joins in here, so Silver doesn't have to do all the talking.

Thanks to Yuu and Silver, Sebek sees the light and becomes determined to get out of the dream world and back to Malleus, much to Yuu's and Silver's relief.

When Sebek gets all teary after making his big proclamation, Yuu gives him so much needed doting, which he reluctantly accepts since he really could use it, although he hates receiving this kind of attention when others are around to watch him in such an embarrassing state lol

But Sebek also allows the doting cause he knows he really worried Yuu earlier, and he feels he should take responsibility for that and for making her cry, which he considers a serious offense.

Once they all settle down, Sebek apologizes for the trouble he caused everyone before hurrying off to his tent to hide his embarrassment, like in canon, and Grim soon after turns in for the night, leaving Yuu alone with Silver.

When she sees Silver's troubled expression, Yuu asks him what's wrong, and he shares what's on his mind like in canon.

Yuu says she's not surprised cause he's very kind, just like Sebek. Of course, a world where Lilia and Malleus are happy would be appealing to him, but sadly, this isn't what the real Lilia would want and this is definitely not what the real Malleus needs.

Like in canon, Silver asks Yuu to set him straight if he ever wavers, like what happened with Sebek, and she promises him that she will cause that's what friends are for, and he thanks her.

After that exchange, before they head for bed, Yuu asks Silver about his ring after remembering what happened with it earlier, and that leads to her learning how he got it and how he really doesn't know much about it.

This naturally makes Yuu wonder what the story is with this ring. Just how is it capable of banishing the darkness?

She ends up puzzling over it until eventually falling asleep since she just couldn't stop thinking about it.

Regarding all the little mini stories that happen on certain squares on the second battle map, I don't plan on covering all of them, but I will say that during the one where Lilia says he doesn't like kids Yuu was very surprised to hear that since the Lilia she knows loves kids.

She also felt bad for Silver having to hear all that, which is why she decides to throw in her own two cents.

Yuu tells Lilia that she never thought of having a family either, yet she somehow ended up with seven sons after entering NRC, which, of course, catches Lilia and Baul really off guard, especially when she points out that Grim and Sebek are two of her sons, which Sebek naturally profusely denies lol 😂

After properly explaining her family situation to Lilia and Baul, Yuu says that, while her boys are a handful, she wouldn't trade them for anything since it's thanks to them that she no longer ever has to worry about being alone. Her days are full of happiness because of them. (This is naturally gets Sebek all teary-eyed, although he'd deny it if someone pointed it out lol)

Yuu tells Lilia that having a family is a wonderful thing, and she wouldn't have one now if she never went to NRC, so she's hoping he too will benefit from one day going to NRC and have a life-changing experience like she did.

Lilia briefly goes quiet upon hearing her words before saying he's tired and ready to turn in for the night, successfully shutting down that conversation, like how he did in canon.

However, unlike in canon, the discussion had more of an impact on Lilia thanks to Yuu's input since he can tell she's similar to him in more ways than he originally expected.

After that discussion, Silver thanks Sebek and Yuu for what they said to Lilia, and he tells Yuu that he's really happy she found herself the family she deserves at NRC.

Yuu thanks him before pointing out that, while he's not one of her sons, Silver is also a part of her makeshift family since he's a dear friend of hers, which makes him smile.

(Also, regarding how Yuu handles all the traveling, unlike her game counterpart, Yuu doesn't have any major difficulty due to her impressive stamina so she's able to keep up with Lilia's group like Sebek and Silver.)

Moving on, when the group reaches the Silver Owl's citadel, things proceed like in canon with them ending up in a trap and having to fight off the machines.

The next canon divergence happens at the end of the battle when the not completely destroyed machine tries to shoot Silver.

Thanks to Yuu's hypervigilance that's the result of ten-plus years of combat, she's one of the first people to notice that the machine isn't down, and without thinking, her body immediately starts moving toward it as she pulls out the sword Lilia let her keep.

At the same time, Lilia moves toward Silver in order to protect him like in canon.

Just as the machine is about to fire, Yuu brings down her sword on it and manages to destroy it but not before it manages that final shot, although thanks to her interference the final shot is weaker than it is in canon.

That's because Yuu ends up taking the brunt of the electric shock. (I'm not actually sure if it's electricity or not but that's what I'm gonna call it since it's obviously not magic lol).

As a result, while Lilia still takes the hit for Silver, he's not as seriously injured as he was in canon.

Unfortunately, the one who gets the most injured is Yuu who takes an electric blast point blank when she completely breaks the machine and weakens its final shot.

The electricity is powerful enough to knock Yuu out, much to Sebek's and Grim's great dismay.

Silver/Lilia/Baul don't immediately notice this because their attention is on Lilia who tells Silver/Baul not to make a fuss since he's not that hurt, although he accepts the potion Baul gives him just to get Baul to back off lol

Before Lilia can drink that potion, however, his group's attention quickly gets drawn to Yuu due to Sebek and Grim loudly calling out her name as they try to rouse her.

Just like how his body moved on its own to save Silver, Lilia, before he even realizes it, starts running over to Yuu and demands to know what happened since he wasn't paying attention to Yuu earlier due to his full focus being on Silver.

Silver also hurries over to Yuu and worriedly kneels down beside a tearful Sebek who's cradling her in his arms.

After Sebek explains what happened, Lilia curses before he proceeds to open the potion bottle he was given, which he then pours into Yuu's mouth and forces her to swallow, catching everyone else by surprise.

When Baul questions Lilia's actions, Lilia says he refuses to have anyone say that a human helped him out since he realizes the blow he took earlier was softened by Yuu, and if she dies, he can't chew her out for being an idiot lol

What he doesn't admit is that Lilia once again is acting without thinking. For some reason, his body just refuses to allow Yuu to suffer when there's something he can do to help her.

Thanks to that potion, Yuu's condition visibly improves, so her health is no longer in danger, although she still doesn't show any signs of waking up, meaning she obviously needs to rest.

Regrettably, that was the last of their potions, so Lilia isn't able to heal any of the damage he sustained earlier. As a result, he still ends up being in an injured state like in canon, although he's still better off than his canon counterpart due to Yuu's interference.

Around that time, everyone gets the horrible news that Henrick and the Knight of Dawn are headed for Maleanor, meaning this was all a part of their plan to strike as soon as Lilia left the castle.

since i wrote more of a headcanon list of what both revalink's bedtime routines look like on this post for @noraiir-arts, i'll do a drabble kinda thing that's like a moment in their routines for 15 lol

🛌 15. Going through their bedtime routine.

"i just don't see why it's necessary," link says, watching revali cut open a second sheet mask. he already has one on his own face, carefully spread and applied across his gorgeous tan skin. link thinks it makes revali look like he's shedding a layer. "your skin's already nice."

"how do you think i keep it nice?" revali says, carefully removing the sheet mask out of its packaging. "my skin's very sensitive, you know, it requires quite a lot of maintenance to keep it this refreshed and clear. you're lucky that you only need to shower and splash your face with water to keep it that way. who knows how you survived using 3-in-1 body wash your entire life."

"hey, i didn't know that it was bad for you," link grumbles and crosses his arms. "i thought it was more efficient to have it all in one than have to buy it all separately..."

revali rolls his eyes. "mhm. now lay down, so i can put the face mask on you."

link complies easily, the tension leaving his body and his eyes falling shut as soon as he feels revali's fingers, gentle and warm across his jaw. then suddenly, he feels a layer of ice spreading across his face and he squeaks, flinching.

"stay still," revali says, tapping link's thigh.

"it's cold!" link whines back, squirming. "you didn't tell me the face masks were cold!"

"they're cold because i keep them in the fridge and your body is a piece of the sun that fell onto earth," revali replies. "of course it's going to feel cold."

link continues to shiver until he finally gets used to the feeling of the mask on his face. revali continues adjusting its application, smoothing or stretching it out in some places until he's satisfied with the way it sits. "there we go," revali says softly. "good?"

"mhm," link says. he can barely move his face with the mask on. "how are you able to talk with this shit on?"

"you get used to it," revali replies. he lies down beside link on the bed and intertwines their fingers together. "now, we wait for thirty minutes and let the serum sink in."

"does it really take that long?" link says, nose wrinkling. the mask shifts due to the movement and he reaches up to smooth it back down.

"i've fallen asleep with them on before. but it's better to let it stay on longer than shorter so the skin can absorb it."

link hums and they both fall silent. with their fingers still intertwined, revali rubs his thumb against the base of link's. their room is quiet, except for the sound of music playing softly from link's phone. he complains plenty about how revali takes way too long to get ready for bed, but moments like this where he can participate in it with revali are link's favorite.

"thank you," revali says suddenly.

"hm? for what?" link says. he struggles to enunciate it; talking with a sheet mask on is difficult.

"for doing this with me. you didn't have to." revali's voice is quiet, almost shy.

link wants to smile under the sheet mask, but he doesn't want it to get messed up again so he resists. "it's something you like to do, so i wanna do it with you too."

he feels revali squeeze his hand, a silent "i love you". "just don't fall asleep," revali says out loud instead.

this time, link can't resist smiling. "no promises."

💧 17. Link has never seen Revali cry, so when he does, Link struggles with how to react.

when link comes home, the house is quiet. which is usually how it is, even if revali is home before him, but at least his boyfriend is being quiet somewhere where link can see him as soon as he comes in. at least revali will call back when link announces he's home, but he hasn't and it's making him nervous.

"'vali," link calls, slipping his shoes off and pushing them onto the shoe rack they keep by the door. "where are you~!" still no response. it puts link on edge immediately. "'vali?"

revali isn't in the living room or the kitchen, so link moves further into the house. he's not in the office or in the backyard, but his car was parked in the driveway so he has to be home. the last place revali would be is the bedroom, so there link goes.

but he's not prepared for the sight before him when he does.

revali is seated on the edge of the bed with a leg tucked underneath him, a look of despair and tears marring his face. he turns his head to look up at link when he hears him enter the room, but says nothing, staring and tears continuing to streak down his face.

link feels like his lungs have been severed from his esophagus, the air he's so desperately trying to breathe in blowing his chest up like a balloon instead. he's never seen revali like this; revali, whose natural facial expression is a scowl and narrowed eyes. or revali, who reserves his softest, most loving looks upon link. this expression on revali's face now... it feels like the world has fallen out of balance.

he knows he should go to revali, hold him tight and close, and comfort him like revali would do for him, but link can't move. he's rooted to one spot, eyes wide but unable to tear his gaze away from revali.

link's throat is dry, but he gulps and still attempts to speak. "you okay?"

for a moment, revali continues to stare. then he sniffs and wipes his eyes with the back of his hand. "yeah, i'm fine," he mumbles, looking away.

moving feels impossible, like he's trying to swim through quicksand, but slowly, link moves forward towards revali until he's seated in front of him on the bed. "...you wanna talk about it?"

revali stares blankly into space, unresponsive. a streak of fear wraps itself around link's chest as he searches revali's face, for any change in expression because this is terrifying.

"'vali?" link tries again in a whisper.

and this time, revali looks at him directly. but his face is scrunching up, his eyes welling with tears as he sniffs deeply again. "sorry," he murmurs, "i— just, it's—" fresh tears roll down his cheeks again and a sound that link has never heard before escapes from revali's throat, one that should have never made a home within revali in the first place.

"oh, 'vali," link whispers and he lets his instincts take over. he crawls forward into revali's lap, wrapping his arms around revali's neck and legs around his waist, holding him tightly. that's when the dam finally breaks and revali lets out the most gut-wrenching sound that link has ever heard him make, beginning to shake and cry openly into his shoulder. he holds revali tighter, letting him cry as much as he wants; it's the least that link could do. "it's okay, i'm here, reva."

eventually, revali's crying comes to a stop, but he's still holding link tightly with his arms around his waist, breathing softly against link's neck. link just strokes his hair, pressing kisses to the side of revali's face where he can reach. it's still a couple minutes before revali can find the words to speak again.

"it's the anniversary of my parents' funeral," he murmurs against link's neck. and it makes link stop in his tracks. oh. "i realize that i never actually talked to you about them. i'm sorry."

"that's okay," link murmurs back, continuing to stroke revali's hair. "you don't have to if you don't want to."

revali pauses for a moment. "i want to," he says softly. "i want you to know about them."

his tone somehow makes link's heart flutters. "okay," he replies in similar volume. "i'd like to, as long as you're comfortable talking about it."

"if it's with you, then i am," revali says. he takes a breath before talking again. "both of my parents died when i was six years old. i... don't want to talk about how they did, but i remember being at the funeral. at the time, i didn't really know what was going on but even as a child i understood grief and sadness." revali's voice grows quieter. "they were all i had, but i can barely even remember them. it's pathetic, i know."

"no it's not," link says softly. "you were still really young and it's a traumatic experience. you can't fault yourself for not being able to remember."

"but they were my parents," revali whispers. "they're the people that gave birth to me and were supposed to take care of me, and all i have to remember them by are legal documents and pictures. i can't even do them justice in memories."

link doesn't know what to say at first. it's an incredibly difficult subject to broach, after all. "even if you can't fully remember them," he decides to start, "i think they would love to know that you're trying. they've probably been watching from above and are so proud of you, because you have so much to be proud of, you know? you're so talented and clever and very handsome, might i add—" revali snorts — "they probably would have been proud to see you grew up well even without them. they would still love you."

"you really think that?" revali murmurs.

"the great revali? uncertain about his greatness?" link says teasingly. he pulls back a little to look at revali's face, whose eyes are still red from crying but hold a fond look. "they would, 'vali. anyone would be proud to have you as a son."

after a beat, revali pulls him back into a hug, squeezing him tight. "thank you," revali whispers. "i appreciate it."

"of course," link replies and turns his head to press another kiss to revali's jaw. "i'm here for you always." they're both quiet for a couple more minutes, content with just holding each other close until revali speaks once more.

"i'm sorry, by the way," revali says into the skin of link's neck. "i probably worried you since i wasn't there to greet you."

"that's okay," link says, his eyes closed. "i get it now after you told me. so don't feel bad anymore, i'm here with you now and i always will be, no matter what. i love you, 'vali, more than anything."

"i love you, too, songbird," revali whispers back. "thank you."

link hums. "i'm gonna get some water for you and then how about cuddles?"

"that sounds... nice." revali's face shifts its position under link's chin. "do you have to leave to get the water, though?"

he giggles. "do you wanna come with me to the kitchen, then?"

"i think we should skip the water and go straight to cuddling."

I found some minor details in the UCFT style fascinating,

it's kinda hard to tell if something is drawn by oof or hyatiid hyatiid does most of the drawings IIRC, but I feel like I can tell when the artist switches and their minor quirks! I can't say for sure who's who but:

Michael's eye brow color changes sometimes, from a darker color from his main hair, to straight black. I also notice his eyebrows are a layer above hair, not sure if that's always the case as I haven't seen enough drawings of his eyebrows above his mullet to tell

Jeremy's piercing & scar placement is inconsistent, not that noticeable as it's generally the same area, but not the exact same everytime

Michael's hair detailing varies a lot

Eyes. they can be close, far, rounded, etc. rounded eyes are mostly for happy expressions

I think Oof keeps the whites of William's (purple form)eye contained with Hyatiid doesn't? I also think Oof is the one the draws lines under the eye without a fading effect while Hyatiid does

+ so he spent most of his adult life completely alone, before he met John. it didn’t bother him, but in like. the sense of he was so used to it he just didn’t even register it as sth lacking. now that he has John, he’s fully committed to “when you die, I die.” nobody gets to take John away from him lmao

when there's no one around to see, he's a lot more willing to indulge his animalistic side. not that he bothers to hide it much to begin with; being a lycanthrope is a source of pride for him. if he's alone, though, he can indulge in things like eating raw meat or hunting with just his hands and teeth without getting weird looks

hm. that's an extremely good question actually. Fýrulf has a retired knight (an Aasimar named Tavar) that he's got quite the fancy for, and is considering asking Tavar to be his mate. bringing an outsider home for a short time to have a child is one thing, asking an outsider to be your mate is another, and would require Tavar to 1) be bitten by a werewolf and 2) embrace the full bloodlust that comes with lycanthropy. If Tavar fails to embrace his lycanthropy, he'd be ritually hunted and killed— a hunt Fýrulf would be required to take part in.

I think that would break Fýrulf. (he worries about his little brother eclipsing, failing to embrace the bloodlust, but he's always known that was a risk and it's an accepted part of their culture. it would be.. different, with Tavar)

Fýrulf at his lowest.... he'd just shut down. I think he'd let the wolf take over completely. no thoughts, only murder < no one's ever seen him at his lowest, bc he's never hit that point

+ he's already working to fulfill his goals. every adventure he goes on is more tales of battle and bloodshed to bring home to his people

he doesn't like being alone. it makes him anxious, but now he's got a soul-link with a monstrous ghostlike creature that grants him supernatural powers. so now he's never alone!

Achim is. not the most well adjusted. he wants someone who will Love Him For Eternity, and he's fairly open about that. if he ever lost Emrik or Dorin, he'd probably go back to summoning ghosts for Late Night Flings. again, not healthy, but he wouldn't do anything to hurt people he cares about (even if they're actively hurting him)

Achim is crying nonstop). since his/his Geist's emotions are so painfully obvious, there's not a lot of reason for Achim to mask. he's self-conscious, insecure and a bit of a clingy crybaby. Dorin and Emrik know this, and they care about him all the same (Dorin is fascinated by a Ghost Magnet and Emrik can't quite quantify "love," but they do each care about Achim in their own ways)

Favorite moment: LOOK LOOK He's actually got depth okay. Because after he messes with the Desmonds' exam papers, he starts rambling about how he'll be famous and make it in the papers... but then he remembers that this will never happen because spies are supposed to live secret lives.

It's so impactful that we even get a shot of Twilight's face (albeit under a mask) where he doesn't huff or roll his eyes or in general show annoyance with Daybreak. In the anime even, Daybreak's VA used a sad tone in his voice and the funny music that accompanied him came to a halt, to signify this is a serious matter for both characters. They both actually want to be recognized (Twilight has obviously suppressed that far more than Daybreak has) but have accepted that's not a real possibility in their line of work... or maybe Daybreak kinda hasn't, lol.

Anyway, it was a pretty cool moment for character development.

Idea for a story: Imma keep it real with you chief I have no clue.

Alisa - Classic T6 Fav. Sweet personality who isn't afraid to go full-on berserk mode while still looking cute and princessy as hell. 😂 Also my main.

Bruce - didn't mind him until his fans became obnoxious over his replacement in T7 smh (but I'm pretty sure they're the same people who love his OG replacement aka Bryan so I think it's annoying idk). But when I played him in TTT2 during my T7 Fresh From Release Era, I actually enjoyed it lol all thanks to his and Josie's similarities. After that, I dug through what he's like and he became an instant fav.

Lei & Lili - Classic Favs. T5:DR was my first ever Tekken game so I got to main these two and eventually end up loving their characters, designs, and playing around with their movesets. They're so fun :D

Miguel - black sheep of the family but he still seems family-oriented and very caring if you get into his good side. Thing is, he's hella scary and brutal, but that's why his character is dynamic enough for me to like him. Kinda main him sometimes.

Steve - Bri'sh boxer with a heart of gold LOL I can see him being a keeper. I would love to be friends with this guy. Not interested in using him for battles, he's my dad's main so he handle him lmao.

Yoshimitsu - he's a Man Of Honor, is masked 24/7, AND shows absolutely no skin iirc. While the wiki says he's a human with a cybernetic arm, it's kind of an easy bait for me if my man has all those traits I mentioned combined. Hard to master tho huhu

I think I would've added King and Armor King bc I can get a lil' thirsty but I'm too lazy.

i just saw a post that reminded me of this strange girl i used to work with.

so there was this guy that i made friends with long before i even met her. i didn't even know that they knew each other (it's possible to not know anyone and still work together daily where i worked). anyway, she saw me with him and was normal at first but i had ducked down at my station to sort through my bag so i guess she thought i ran to the restroom? and she says to him "you better not be cheating on me" and he's like "h-how am i cheating on you?"

so i'm hiding under my station like o_o did i just overhear something i wasn't supposed to? did i get dude in trouble just by walking with him. poor guy. so, not wanting dude to get in trouble with his girl i decide to fall back, out of respect (though we were only ever friends but i'm thinking if he's with someone THAT jealous that us walking to our stations together is a threat, i wanna stay out of it.) at break time dude comes up to me like usual so we could go on break and i'm like mf, you gonna get your ass in trouble! but i dont actually say anything, i'm just sorta trying to talk to her and hope that keeps the heat off me. she decides she wants to go outside for her break to smoke, he comes with me.

turns out, he doesn't really know the girl. they worked together like twice and then she started being weird toward him. and i was thinking, phew, boy i thought i was getting you in trouble somehow. so i go back to being normal and i think it's all cool and dandy. one day, he gets stationed elsewhere but she and i are together and she's grilling me about where he is because we're closer apparently. so i was like oh when i messaged him earlier, he said he got stationed at suchandsuch. if eyes were daggers she'd've stabbed my ass. she was like 'you have his number???' and i'm thinking, dude ok. what's her deal? but i just explained it was discord and blah blah blah.

she tells me that she has this huuuuuuge crush on him. and i'm thinking about what he said about them barely knowing each other then she's grilling me about what i know about him and i'm keeping it vague out of respect for his privacy. i've known this girl for 3 days i think- definitely less than a week at that point. anyway, she asks if i was into him. i was in a serious relationship at the time and in no way looking at anyone else so i'm like ??. next thing you know she starts telling me about how she knows how to make chloroforms and how she's good at tying ropes and if she ever had to she'd probably be good at hiding a body.

this wasn't at all in context. this was completely unprovoked. i was just like ?????. i'm working in a factory where they hire literally anyone. so while she could've just been saying some shit to sound cool, that didn't sound cool to me at all. i was lowkey kinda concerned even though it sounded like edgy bs because why would you say that?? lol.

anyway, about a month later she knowingly came to work with covid and gave it to me but tried to make it seem like she got it from me because i was the one that got teSted. but she was the one that came to work with a fever and no sense of smell at the height of covid on a day that i was perfectly healthy😊

idk why but that post i saw about chloroform that reminded me of her. maybe she watched/listened to/read a lot of true crime and wanted to share or maybe she was vaguely threatening me because she thought i wanted "her man" whose face i'd literally never even seen before because we were all wearing masks lolol

OK QUICK MINITHEORY WITH SIME RUIN SPOILERS SO BEWARE

You guys know this weird ass rabbit thing, right? The thing ppl are calling "the Entity."

Well I heard a few other folks comparing it to Glitch Trap, and I don't quite think thats exactly right. My personal theory for what this character is, is it's a manifestation of the Afton Virus that's causing all the Glamrocks to go nuts.

I mean like think about it, We find him in AR while using the Vanny mask - maybe the exact one Vanny wears - covered in wires and other weird shit. Helpy says in RUIN that the V.A.N.N.I network is some sort of employee tool- which, I mean- alright I guess. But concider this, when You first pick up the mask, the eye-lenses on the inside are purple. A universal sign in these games of Afton's presence- in one way or another. So what if one of the things driving Vanessa to be- well Vanny, is the Afton Virus implanting itself in the mask? Or, alternatively- the Afton Virus was transfered from Vanessa, and into the mask when she takes it off? Just as it's transferred from the VR headset to Vanessa in Help Wanted.

IDK, just spitballing.

Something I also found, weird at first when this rabbit thing popped up was- if The Entity is supposed to be the Afton Virus, why isn't it more purple? Now it's kinda got this blue- violet kinda tint. Like there's still purple in there, you can see it on the nose of this model, but blue is much more present. So I have 3 ideas.

1. It's Got something to do with Bonnie.

The only blue rabbit throughout most of the games seems like it'd have ties to a newer blue toned-rabbit popping up, you know? It's also interesting- considering that we finally got glimpses as to what cannon Glamrock Bonnie looked like in RUIN- and tbh just general acknowledgement of him.

2. Someone else is in control.

Admitedly this one isn't super convincing. The gameplay makes it abundantly clear that The Entity (Or as I've decided To call it, Trojan-Trap (get it? bc of the virus? heh.)), and the Mimic- tryna trick Cassie into coming down to the basement by pretending to be Gregory, are NOT WORKING TOGETHER. Neither of them are on our side obviously, but if Trojan-Trap wanted you to get to the basement, he wouldnt impede your progress every 5 minutes with inhibitors. It does however suggest hes tryna get Cassie to become infected by the virus by locking her into the mask. As for the mimic, it shuts down Trojan-Trap at least twice if I'm remembering right. If Afton was in some way in full control of Trojan-Trap, you'd think the child murderer would be trying to, ya know. do that. Idk who else could be maning the virus, but I'm suspicious it's not just whatever's left of Afton that's in control. And I don't think it's Vanny either, because she's represented with red not blue lol (although there is some red present in this design so theres that)

3. Something about Tiger Rock.

So if you're unaware, Tiger Rock is a character in the "Tales from the Pizza-Plex" book series. The jist is, that they are an entity in control of the Pizza-Plex, and are controlled by AI replicas (?) of Charlotte (The Puppet) and Elizabeth (Baby). I'm basing this off a Game Theory Episode covering it- so I recommend you watch that if you wanna know more. The idea is- since Tiger Rock has a Green and a Blue eye, they represent Baby and Charlotte- because eye colors be like that in FNaF. This is also why there are so many Nightmarionne references in the base game of Security Breach- from striped wires, to plushies hidden everywhere, to the face being painted onto the broken staff bots in the basement + the jumpscare noise being present in the staffbot's screams. So humor me- what if The Puppet managed to get some amount of control over the Afton Virus? Granted- we don't know much of why they would want to do that, but maybe they're trying to use it for something besides what Afton made it for. Maybe they wanna use it to try to get any killer-animatronic Afton's ever made disabled or destroyed. IDK, but it's something to chew on.

AND CAN WE PLEASE ACKNLOWLADGE HOW CLOSE THE NAME CASSIE IS TO CASSIDY??
