Sariwang isda na aking nabili sa Turkey Shop. Hindi gaanong kaliitan pero malasa na nilaokan ng Baby spinach at Scallions. I have been cooking Kinamatisang isda for many of our meals and I can’t get enough of it. The soup base is yummy and has the right taste of tomato 🍅 in it for a bit sour flavor, coupled with a mild bite. Then I added baby spinach you just need to watch out for the fishbones because it is a bit smaller fish. Dec. 6: Chicken Kinamatisan

Simple. Easy. Yummy. Good for two people. Can be eaten under ten minutes ;)

1 large piece chicken breast (cut up to bite-size with scissors)

1 garlic clove minced

a few pieces of spring onion chopped

a bit of margarine (tonight’s substitute for cooking oil, still out of it)

1 large tomato diced

1 tbsp fish sauce mixed with 1 tbsp of tomato pasta sauce

1 cup water

pepper

Make sure your Christmas playlist is playing while you go about cooking.

 After all the cutting up and chopping, saute garlic in margarine. Add the chicken and pepper and cook till the meat turns white. Add tomato and saute for 3 minutes or so. Add the fish sauce and tomato sauce mixture plus a cup of water. Adjust the saltiness according to your liking. Then let it simmer for 8~10 minutes. Mix the spring onion at some point.  

Bon appétit with chia seeds sprinkled rice.

  I had a terribly long night stretching up to past 5 in the morning. So it is very much December 7. I’m down to my second cup of coffee at the moment. Haha, I know this isn’t important. What kept me up is this fun site where you can create your own floor plan and house layout. An hour turned to an overnighter. I’m definitely in the nesting zone. And I miss home.
