First of all, Kiyo may come off as creepy or unlikeable, but he has a lot of affection for humanity and, healing from what his sister did, would absolutely find himself with an attachment for someone like you fast

Eijiro and sero vs midnight: sero for the same reason as canon, but eijiro can’t afford to brute force it here as her gas bypasses his durability, forcing them to think things through

Yuga and sato vs cementoss: same reasonings as canon, with yuga having a limit on how much he can fire his laser

Pretty much the rest of them are the same as canon though I’d personally change shoji and toru to fight vlad king as his sharp blood constructs can pin down shojis arms or tear them up and if a drop of blood lands on toru, it can give her away

I like these! Kirishima learns the same lesson he's meant to in canon and Aoyama's endurance poses an interesting challenge

you see, painting zim as the main actor behind the eventual downfall of irk is easy and understandable, but the thing is the tallest definitely play a part in there as well. and it's because they don't do shit

despite being the runt and disgrace of the irken empire, zim represents everything his kin values pushed to its logical absolute. in this way, his workaholism and eagerness to contribute to the empire puts him even more in opposition to the current tallest at the top of the hierarchy - completely bored and disinterested in their duty towards the empire as leaders, yet free to indulge in their hedonism and innate privilege.

together, they encompass the best and worst in the eyes of the irkens ; that which is valuable or worthless, that which is beneficial or harmful, that which is desirable or undesirable, that which is admirable or shameful... those traits split between the two forces like a sort of yin and yang. but although they may be pitted against eachother, with zim framed as the pariah scorned by the empire he so wants to serve, and the tallest as irresponsible poster children for excellence in irken society, it's the interaction between the former's destructive tendencies and the latter's apathy and unwillingness to deal with them effectively that will lead the empire to its doom

Note, you're going to see some of these and realize we've talked about them before. HOWEVER their abilities, creature type, personality, size, EVERYTHING can be different here. That monstrosity is a fey, that fey is an elf, that wide variety of powers is now a slightly different teleport, and that species doesn't even RESEMBLE its kin. However, there will be one MAJOR way I go away from modern canon. In the MPMM, they retconned all PC species (and ONLY PC versions) to be the exact size, weight, and age range of a modern human from earth. With all the same strength, durability, etc. Fuck. That. I will concede that you're playing the shetland pony of centaurs for size, but I will NOT say a minotaur, dwarf, centaur, sea elf, and orc are the same size and weight on average.

Sidenote, a few entries might be lacking because like...Goliath for instance has 2 sentences in the MPMM. And many of these species have thier backgrounds or usual monster lore removed too! and not replaced with anything. So sorry if we get some "wall of text vs 4 sentences" matchups. I'll try to keep it even, but only so much I can do with mentality of "you can't complain about our lore if we just remove it all!
