Premise: Days in the life of the Shinazugawa household, based on my previous story (link here).
Word Count: 3263
Note: This was requested by the lovely @yourlocalangie, “little family moments in the shinazugawa household with the reader and their children.” 🫶🏻
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
A typical day in the Shinazugawa household started very early in the morning. Even before the sun got a chance to go out, Sanemi, his wife and the children would be on their way down the mountain with a cart full of goodies.
Over the years the farm had grown quite a bit.
Mia and her husband had babies and now your chicken coop is full to the brim with lovely birds and delicious eggs for your family and the towns people.
The milk from your farm was considered the hottest item in the market, getting a consistent queue of customers since very early in the morning, creating a high demand.
After an intense morning of sales, the Shinazugawa family heads back to their farm for a well deserved home cooked meal.
The afternoons were particularly busy, since they would all go to the market together, the rest of the work had to be done after lunch.
"Sanehiko, you're on milk duty, make sure they at least fill two of the big jugs."
"On it father." Sanehiko, the eldest of the lot was the most invested in the family business. He learned from his mother from a very young age how to tend the animals and get the milk from the cows, being the best at it in the family. He thoroughly enjoys working on the fields as well, always looking for a way to help with the crops and making sure everything was in order, out of all of them he was the most responsible and down to earth, being the eldest had a big impact in his way of living, much like young Sanemi he is constantly thinking of the wellbeing of his family and does his best to support his parents.
"Genma, you're in charge of picking the best tomatoes to sell tomorrow. Water your mother's herbs when you're done."
"Yes father!" Genma was the sweetest of them all, always wanting to please his mother and father alike. Sanemi was forever jealous at the fact that he was a momma's boy, he reminds him so much of Genya he wishes he would look up to him the way his brother used to do, but his mother is softer and prettier, of course anyone would choose her instead, he would do too.
"Remi, help your mother separate the black from the red berries and put them in the different baskets. If you behave, I might show you the third form." His only daughter was the closest to him, she inherited his spirit and even if she's not even three yet she begs her father to teach her his wind breathing techniques, days he decides to indulge her even the tiniest bit are the happiest around the house.
"(Y/N) you concentrate on the marmalade and watching Senri, I'll take care of the rest there is to do around in the fields and pick up the eggs." reaching over for your husband, you placed a soft kiss to his lips, nodding at his instructions. You were still very much pregnant and doing more than that would be harsh on your body. Patting your bum lovingly, he rolled his sleeves up and headed back to work.
"Mma this!" Remi was diligently following her father's instructions, pulling a berry that wasn’t ripe out and showing it to you in her tiny hand. "Good eye, baby. Let's put those a side ok? We don't want the marmalade to be sour." happily she set it on a plate and continued with her designated job.
No day was the same. Having a farm gave the kids the opportunity to be active and learn from their parents skills that would be useful in the future. Sanemi made sure to rotate them around the tasks, he wanted his children to grow as strong as he was and as smart as their mother, he wanted nothing but the best for them.
By the end of the day they were all tired and ready for bed as early as the sun would set that day.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Sundays were off. It didn't matter how much work was pending in the farm, how many eggs the chickens lay that morning, how much money they made that week, nothing mattered. Days off were important for the Shinazugawas.
Sanemi didn't get much time to lay around with his youngest since he is always so busy, but Sundays were normally deemed 'Senri day'.
Today though, he had slightly different plans.
You just finished bathing Remi and Senri when you heard Genma squealing like a little piglet.
"Genma get your ass here right now!"
Your husband sounded pissed. He rarely yells at the children, no matter how angry he was.
"Mother!!! Help me!! Father has gone crazy!! MOTHER!!!" his cries for help made you run outside your house, just to see your husband chasing your child around the fields with a sharp knife in his hand.
"Shinazugawa Sanemi. What on earth are you doing?" the child crashed against your leg, hiding behind it. If there was someone who could save him, that would be you.
"Tch." he was forced to stop running by your deep angry mother glare, "I just wanted to give him a haircut, love. Don't know why he's running away like a freak. Did you see him run? How is he faster than me? He's five, this makes no sense."
The four Shinazugawa children took after their father in their physical strengths. Sanehiko could lift a grown pig up since he was four. Genma had super speed, apparently. Remi had his blood thirst and Senri broke Sanehiko's finger when he was just three months old.
You brought Genma up into your arms, looking into his terrified eyes. "What's wrong, baby? Why aren't you letting your father cut your hair? You can't even see of how long it is."
"He....wanted to shave the sides of my head...." the child buried his face on your chest seeking for comfort, this always irritated Sanemi. He understands he is still young and that’s completely normal, but nobody but him and maybe Senri should be allowed to do that. Being jealous of his own children was a new low for the pillar.
"Stop being such a cry baby. I will do it whether you want it or not, I'm your father I do whatever the hell I want."
"Seems like you enjoyed sleeping out by the kitchen, darling." all trace of color drained from Sanemi's face instantly.
"B-babe....let's talk this out, ok? I just wanted to give him a haircut, you know he needs one." and he did, but you didn't like the way he was speaking to the child.
"Why are you shaving his head though? He looks so cute with his long hair." you were peppering soft kisses all over his little face, making him giggle.
By now Sanemi was sitting on the floor beside you, heaving out a long defeated sigh. "My brother...he had his hair like that. I guess I miss him."
"Oh my love...." setting your child down, you embraced your crestfallen husband, kissing the side of his face. "I know you see your brother in Genma, but you gotta remember he's your son and he is just five. Running after him with a knife in your hand isn't considered bonding."
"Father. It’s ok, you can shave my head. I don't like that sad face you're making." he brought Genma into a strong embrace and you all remained like that for a while. He missed Genya dearly, but having you around was more than he deserved.
"Remi too, Remi too!!!" your little girl jumped on Sanemi's back, nuzzling his neck with her little nose.
Sanehiko was holding Senri, confused by the knot of people before him. "What's going on?"
"Just come here, dammit." he settled for leaving Senri in your arms and gently nestle himself on your side, one of his hands holding one of his father's.
The Shinazugawa household was warm and full of understanding.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
After a well deserved break, your husband was now getting into your shared futon ready for a good night sleep.
He loved caressing your enlarged belly, there was nothing he enjoyed more than seeing you carrying his babies, knowing you had a part of him inside of you. He would always fall asleep while tracing patterns on your tummy, face pressed on the side of your neck.
Maybe it was the emotional afternoon your family had, maybe it was the long walk up the hill from the day before. The reason was unknown to you but a sharp pain on your lower half alerted your sleepy husband.
“(Y/N) what’s wrong?”
“Is coming Nemi.” as if on cue, your water broke all over your freshly laundered covers.
“What do you mean is coming? Isn’t it too early? Fuck, what do we do now? Can you wait until I go call the midwife?” he already knew the answer to that question, your body was moving on its own into a good position to deliver the baby.
“Can’t do. We gotta do this on our own, I’ve done it four times already and you’ve been there for every single one of them, we know what to do.”
“Are you out of your fucking mind (Y/N)? What if there’s complications? Senri gave you a hard time.” he was panicking now, removing the covers completely to give you more space, “Hell, you haven’t even finished waving the basket, where is the baby going to sleep?”
“SANEHIKO.” the contractions were heavy, painful, one right after the other, you needed a cool headed person around while your husband hyperventilated in a corner of the room.
“Yes, mother?” the child had already gone to bed, but was still awake thankfully, coming to your aid instantly.
“The baby is coming my love, you know what to do right?” the child nodded making his way over to the kitchen, returning not long after with clean cloths and water.
“Take Senri, we need his basket. Remember, don’t come out of the room until I go look for you, no matter what you hear. This goes for the rest of the gang too, keep an eye on all of them.” Sanemi’s anxiety driven self was finally grasping reality, just in time.
It was now just the two of you in your room. The same room you and your brother were born in, the same room where your four children came to this world. “We can do this, love.” Sanemi held your hand as tight as he could getting in between your legs as you started pushing your fifth child out. Thankfully there were no complications, the child came out fast and with minimal effort, more than ready to come out and meet her family.
Sanemi was ecstatic when he saw his baby girl for the first time as the adrenaline rush was finally settling down. He somehow thought he’d have another boy; it was a pleasant surprise. He was so into it that even forgot he had to clip the cord, almost dragging you out with him when he pulled the baby close to his chest. She looked just like you, his beautiful little treasure.
After cleaning you and the baby, Sanemi set the child on his son’s basket, wrapped into a little cocoon where she slept peacefully tired of the whole adventure.
“How are you feeling, baby? You did such a good job. You’re a pro at this now you have my respect I could never do that, specially not now that I saw it so up close, that shit's not for the weak. I knew I picked the right wife.” this made you giggle, pulling your husband in for cuddles. You probably needed space but all you wanted was to be in his arms.
“I feel less heavy. A bit sore though.” he was rubbing circles onto the side of your hip trying his best to relieve the pain even if it was just a little.
“Do you want me to call the kids in? I can take Sae to them so you can rest some more.”
“Yeah, I don’t think I can handle Remi jumping on me right now.” you both chuckled, staring dreamily into each other’s eyes.
The children were overwhelmed with how cute their little sister was, Genma was particularly over the moon as he wasn’t the only one with dark hair any longer.
Sanemi explained to the kids that their mother needed to rest just like when Senri was born, they needed to behave, be gentle and stay out of troubles. But even after his father’s speech, Genma managed to sneak out of the room quietly and was now kneeling by your side.
“Mother, is your belly ok? Do you need belly rubs?” his sweet little voice was music to your ears, his gentle nature was truly a gift.
“I would love that, sweetie. But does your father know you’re here?” the child swallowed hard seemingly nervous but opted for ignoring the question and go straight to work, gently massaging your sore belly. “I will go to bed in a bit, just thought you might need belly rubs.” he looked like a little delinquent now that his father styled his hair with such a fashion forward design, it was the cutest thing in this world.
“Thank you, baby. You’re the best.” sitting up slightly, you gave your toddler a good night kiss, sending him his way before anyone noticed.
Sanemi noticed of course, but he didn’t say anything, he knew his son, he was probably just making sure his mother was still alive after the deafening screams heard all over the house during the birthing process.
He took Sae back to your room, leaving Senri to share his eldest brother bedding arrangements for the night to give you some extra time to finish the second basket the next day.
Finally going back to your side, Sanemi nearly collapsed on top of you, proud of the evening accomplishments but as tired as one can be, it never even crossed his mind he would help deliver his own child, it was an insane experience. “So how does it feel being the father of five children?” teasing your man was fun, especially when he was this tired, he gets way softer.
“Makes me want to put another one inside of that delicious looking-“
“SANEMI!” he bursts out laughing, burying his face on your hair.
“Just saying... Feels pretty good though. You know I come from a very large family, it feels great having all this tiny loud brats running around, makes me feel complete. You’ve given me so much…”
You were dozing off on his chest, placing a kiss on it before closing your eyes, “I would give you the world, my love.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Being a parent to five children was not easy.
The age gap wasn’t as helpful now a days. When Genma was born Sanehiko was already old enough to understand what was happening. But having three children in a row was taking a toll both physically and mentally on you and your husband.
Remi was difficult to handle, always so full of energy. Senri was still just a little baby but was currently learning how to walk on his own, accidents following his every step. And Sae was milking the life out of you, her appetite was like no other.
You were tired and so was Sanemi.
Even the market stall had to go on a little break, this didn’t happen when Senri was born. He’s always been a quiet baby, would sleep most of his day. But Sae was always hungry and would constantly ask to be fed.
Sanehiko was deemed Senri’s guardian, while Sanemi held onto Remi for dear life majority of the day. The farm still needed to be tended to and you would have to go back to the market soon or the goods would be lost. Genma was tasked as your moral support or how Sanemi liked to call it ‘your servant’, he was in charge of making sure his mother had everything she needed, so he would go on fluffing your pillow every few minutes, bring you water, rub your belly, help you hold his sister while you changed her. He was a big help regardless of what the others said.
“Nii-nii look.” Remi would run over to the house to show her brother the vegetables she picked, the bugs she found, she even brought an egg, her hair littered with feathers making you giggle at the mental image of your husband trying to catch his daughter and chase her out of the coop. She’s always been given easy tasks as she’s still very little, but she was now helping her father with the farm, it made her feel important.
Genma knew she was taunting him, but he was where he wanted to be, there was nothing he’d rather do than to help his mother and new sister to be comfortable and well, he was a man now, the Shinazugawa are strong, he got this under control.
You were dozing off while feeding your daughter, Genma already snoozing on your lap, when you heard tiny feet running in your direction. You could see Remi on Sanemi’s shoulders picking corn in the fields from the window, this could only mean one thing.
“Senri, is that you?” a tiny hand was holding onto the doorframe, supporting his own weight. His brother was supposed to be watching him, but your children all take after their father, you knew Sanehiko wasn’t at fault, it was most likely Senri who sneaked out.
“Come here, my love.” he lets go of the door stumbling clumsily into your arms, “Did you miss me? I sure miss you, my baby boy. It's time for your nap, isn’t it?” he was climbing onto you, stepping on Genma’s hand in the process but very diligently skipping over his newborn sister as if afraid of hurting her.
In under a minute, you could hear your restless son lifting things around the house, scrambling in fear. “Sanehiko, he’s here baby.” a tuft of white hair was now peaking from outside the window, he didn’t want his parents to notice he lost a brother but got caught regardless. He was panting, face covered in sweat, “He disappeared so quickly mother, I swear I just looked to the side for a second and he was gone.”
“I know sweetie, I know. Why don’t you come here and rest with us for a while? We all need a nap.” That was a tempting offering, he was tired that was a fact. Having to look after his little brother, while being constantly awoken at night by a crying baby was a bit too much for a nine-year-old. He nestled on your side, giving you some extra support on the arm that was holding your daughter. Quickly falling asleep like the rest of the gang, face comfortably pressed on your shoulder.
Sanemi had picked up some of your lavender for tea, hopefully that would get you to sleep better. He was about to announce his plan when he saw more than half of his family sprawled on the floor, enjoying an afternoon nap, the sun beams coming through the window were shinning on the beautiful face of his darling wife the love of his life, and his offspring.
His youngest toddler was dozing off on his head, her arms now dangling to the sides of his face. Seems like everyone had the same idea.
He put her down on her eldest brother lap, and she curled on your side immediately, holding Sanehiko’s arm like a pillow. Sanemi went on your other side, cradling you, Genma, and Senri to his chest, letting out a content sigh out and kissing your forehead softly trying not to wake you up.
His life could be chaotic and had been quite challenging over the years, but once he found his happy place, he wouldn’t trade it for anything in this universe, and that was you.

I'm suddenly inspired thanks to the new season of KNY and the announcement of the trilogy for the infinite castle arc, so this idea came to me while listening to, what a surprise, Epic The Musical.
BIG SPOILERS FOR THE MANGA FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ IT, ESPECIALLY FOR KOKUSHIBO'S STORY!!!
Kokushibo and Son reader
Did you see that Kokushibo when he was human had an entire family? wife and two children.
I like to imagine that he really loved them, it's just that his desire for power far exceeded his love for his family.
that + being turned into a demon caused his paternal instinct to drop considerably from "decent" to "sea turtle"...something like that.
Imagine that Kokushibo, watching over his family from afar, especially his eldest son, ends up...missing that feeling.
He won't admit it, obviously, but he's strong enough that he ends up watching and "taking care" of his children from a distance. but with a special emphasis on his eldest son. who, because he is his next heir, has to learn martial arts and weapons handling...
and he is GOOD with them..
I don't think the Son/reader is a Yorichi-level prodigy, but he's definitely cunning and intelligent enough to pass the average age and compensate for his lack of muscle mass (for being so young).
and Kokushibo feels INTERESTED in this.
He sees the opportunity to, in a way, "save" his son, "help" him get better.
although in reality it is a way of saying that he misses his son and that he does not want him to die as a human. but he would never admit it.
Then, when the child is old enough to go on expeditions on his own, Kokushibo gives him certain "tests", some that require strategy, brute force or intellect, but indifferently the child/reader manages to pass them.
The interesting thing is that at first, the son/reader doesn't really know why such strange creatures or obstacles appear out of nowhere 😅 but little by little he begins to suspect that a demon could have something to do with it...
What the boy did not expect was that that demon was his father!
The same father who abandoned him, his brother and mother...was he taking care of him?
Let's just say that when Kokushibo finally decides to appear before his son, he doesn't really give concrete answers, and it's not a good idea to try to force him. so son/reader simply settles for this strange new dynamic.
They're like Omniman and Mark but less extreme in a way. Or more like Athena and Odysseus. They act like Friends, but the GIANT difference on power/mortalilty and authority make them not actually be.
Kokushibo wants his son to improve as a swordsman as he grows up and proves to be a great fighter both with and without weapons, but at the same time he wouldn't act in a paternal way per se.
because, after all, Kokushibo is no longer the father of son/reader, he knows it. And deep down the reader also knows it, as much as he wanted to have a relationship with his father again, because he knows that if his father takes care of him it is because he loves him, but if he loves him, why does he push him away?
It's a dynamic in which the son/reader wants to have hope that his father is still out there somewhere, while what Kokushibo wants by being a demon is to leave what stopped him once being human, so he wants to drag his own son on the side of the demons.
Probably in the years in which Kokushibo meets his son and trains him (either in the Moon Breath or a variant) he also tries to teach him how to be the closest thing to a human demon, that is, to only look out for his interests. and HIS power, since after all, what good is everything he has achieved if it is not for him?
son/reader is a good boy, but thanks to these years of basically grooming he ends up being a ruthless and socially very inept warrior. being somewhat isolated from others.
However, when son/reader officially enters the demon hunting guild (by order to cover Michikatsu's place), he begins to be more exposed to people in general, people who do not feel particularly intimidated by him... who see him like a companion.
It would be especially interesting (especially for a yandere scenario) if the son/reader found a new father figure in the group of pillars (to which he ascended very young, to Kokushibo's satisfaction) who precisely tries to teach him that power and techniques are not everything, you do not have the guarantee that something precedes you, so you should focus more on living happily.
(It would add insult to injury if that father figure turned out to be Yorichi taking care of his nephew from his demonic father figure).
However, the more son/reader begins to doubt and falter in his ideology, the more pressure he receives from Kokushibo not to "disappoint" him, not after everything he has progressed, everything he has taught him, son/reader is a special warrior, he can't afford this.
especially not when Kokushibo is going to give him a very important test, in which it will be decided whether or not he is worthy of becoming a demon.
Let's say that the son/reader is sent on a mission, in which, together with a group of hunters, they must go after a high-ranking demon.
That's not the part Kokushibo is interested in.
He knows that his son/reader's companions are not going to survive this, they are very weak compared to his son, but if he uses them as decoys, he can easily kill the demon.
easy right? well, not for son/reader.
At first everything went well, as they had planned in case they ran into a high-ranking demon, attack from behind, keep their distance, be in the blind spot--
but in a moment, almost without realizing it, one of his companions was already dead, crushed to the ground...
and then another...
and other..
son/reader realized that he could handle this demon, but his companions couldn't, at this rate they would all die. and he DIDN'T WANT THAT.
So he did something he had never done before.
son/reader took his few remaining companions and RUN AWAY. as fast as he could. away from the devil. where the sun would rise shortly.
and oh god, Kokushibo was FURIOUS.
and practically right there they have their Epic My Goodbye moment.
Kokushibo is disappointed, his son not only ended up being reckless, but sentimental at best, SOFT. something that even his dead companions would be ashamed of. He's supposed to suppress any nagging feelings for the victory, and not only does he ignore this, he fails every stage of his final test.
So, Kokushibo leaves.
Maybe that's how he learns his place, maybe that's how he learns not to cross it, not to waste his time, NOT TO DISAPPOINT HIM.
but this time, son/reader has SOMETHING TO SAY.
...he's not surprised...
It is something very in character for his father, selfish, pridefull and VAINE, because after all, what does he know now about BEING HUMAN? What is it like to have blood on your hands and feel bad about it?
All the respect that the son/reader had for his father has disappeared, replaced by great bitterness. ENCOURAGES him to leave, he already did it once, he will no longer run after him, he will no longer cry for his attention, because he will no longer be plaguing his life to begin with.
He will get what he wants and he doesn't care in the slightest.
and that makes Kokushibo EVEN more angry, how could he think that such a disrespectful CHILD could become a good acquisition? what a waste of time.
but at least the son/reader knows why he did things, he knows why he is fighting now, WHAT HE WANTS, if his father were so powerful and he felt better now as a demon...then why is he there with him, in that moment?
.....
As the son/reader goes towards where the sun begins to rise, he can still hear his "father" speaking to him from behind.
-"...someday...you will understand what I tell you....someday...you may listen to me...someday...but not today, after all...you are just a man "-
a mortal man, who would die like the rest.
-"everything you worked for...will be lost...you have condemned...yourself...you have lost ...EVERYTHING"-
_"..... Goodbye father..."-
as he slowly walks towards the sunlight, with the rest of his group, but not before watching as the silhouette in the shadows blinks briefly before simply. disappear.
Tumblr media
This feelt so OOC but I HAVE TO DO IT!!! I HAVE THIS IDEA FOR MONTHS NOW AND WITH TJE SUDDEN BRUST OF INSPIRATION FINNALY I DID IT!
It's kind of weird how the characters of the family of Kokushibo are barely used on fanfic, so i Made My two cents i Guess.
The songs i used of refference:
Hope You all enjoy!

Premise: Days in the life of the Shinazugawa household Pt.2. This is based on my previous story (link here).
Word Count: 3003
Note: This was requested by the lovely @dancingnewcat, "Shinazugawa household scenario when they ask where babies come from + when they hear 'noises' from their parents room and get confused and ask them about it." 🫶🏻
Warning: This might be an obvious warning but anyways, Suggestive content. Just a bit, no smut. It’s more funny than anything- 👀
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Sanemi’s children were all very well disciplined, his father reinforced the importance of a routine in each of them from a very early age and they wouldn’t dare to question their father. They all knew when to follow orders and knew it was on their best interest.
However, the one rule they all disliked very much was how early they had to go to bed.
It was no secret to anyone that this family worked a lot. They had a lot of mouths to feed, being consistent was important to say the least. And the field work was as exhausting as demanding. To you and Sanemi made perfect sense for the children to go to bed after a nice warm bath and a delicious home cooked dinner, they needed to rest to grow strong.
But to them it was nothing but a nuisance. Yes, they were tired, but they didn’t have much free time to read or play and would like to use some of that time off to do so.
While the youngest toddler would be the one to protest the most, Remi was the first one to fall asleep every day, even before Senri did. Sanehiko and Genma were a completely different story.
Genma liked to draw, and he was actually pretty good at it. His mother made a sketch book for him and that’s his biggest treasure. He stays up for an extra couple of hours at night trying to draw whatever that caught his eye that day. Today that was a caterpillar wiggling near his favorite tomato plant.
Sanehiko on the other hand loved to read. You were very insistent in teaching your eldest how to read and write, while Genma wasn’t the best, Sanehiko really enjoyed reading and would constantly reread your books, using his down time at night to do so.
They waited all day to get this freeing moment, it was their favorite time of the day. And it was very much so as well for their parents.
Sanemi was the most hardworking person you’ve ever met, thankfully he was your husband. But this also meant your time together wasn’t as abundant as you would like, even if you did everything together. He was very overprotective, and you were constantly pregnant, so he would make you rest inside and do minor jobs around the house while he would break his back outside in the fields with your eldest children. It was a rewarding feeling, having someone to treasure you this much, to worry this much about his family. You were a very lucky woman, that much you’re aware of.
This time of the day was Sanemi’s favorite too, very much like his sons, he waited all day for this very moment. The moment to have his beloved beautiful wife in his arms. If he was being honest, it’s all he thinks about all day. He craves the softness of your curves, the warmth of your chest, your soft caresses, and kisses. According to Uzui, he was lovesick. And he most definitely was, even if he’s been with you for over ten years now.
To him you were the definition of perfection, he could just stare at you all day and never get bored, it was even better than killing demons, a feeling like no other.
And nighttime was your time off. Your kids were in bed, your youngest child was now sleeping through the entire night without waking up much, your room was a peaceful little bubble where your love would bloom every night.
Sanemi was lovesick, yes.
But he was still a man.
And this man has needs.
Daily needs.
Tonight, you were particularly tired, Sae was not like any of your previous babies, this girl had an appetite, even taking care of your daily home tasks was difficult with her constantly asking for milk, you even had to miss the outings to the market every other day because of how drained you were.
Tonight, was one of those nights.
“She reminds me of you when we just met.” you were laying on your side, tucked cozily to your husband’s chest.
“What why me? She has your face, not mine.” he was scowling down at you, he loved his child, but she was truly feral when it came to food, he wasn’t like that at all.
“Well not really her, but my breasts are as sore as they were when we…well when we made Sanehiko.” your flustered self made Sanemi laugh loudly, he was particularly proud of himself back then, leaving you pregnant was well intended, he was the only child that was actually planned, he was dying to stuff you full with his child, there was nothing he wanted more in the world.
“She’s my daughter after all. Do you want a little massage? You know I’m good with my hands.” That was a very tempting offer, even just laying on your side was painful, they were full of milk and sensitive due to the continuous sucking of your daughter.
“Hmmm…you are indeed…if you aren’t too tired, I would have to accept that offer.” his hands were experts in the art of disrobing his lovely wife, within seconds your sore assets had been freed from confinement and were being diligently caressed by your skillful husband.
It felt good, you could feel all the pressure knotting on the top part of your breasts due to their heaviness leave in an instant, making you hum quietly in delight.
He was being as careful as possible as to not cause the milk to come out, but they were so full it was an impossible task, the sight of your bouncy, delectable and leaking breasts never failed to turn him on to his highest, you were just so gorgeous, he could just eat you all up every day.
His arousal was now obviously pressing onto one of your thighs, making you very much aware of what this would end up as, you were tired but never too tired for your man.
“Nemi…” a mewl louder than intended left your lips as one of his hands was replaced by his hungry mouth, your mind was going blank, your body craving more and more of his.
You are normally very careful to not let your voice go wild; your kids were right next door. But there were days you couldn’t even differentiate how loud you were, being so full of your husband in more than one way drowned all your senses.
Little Genma was leaning against the wall that divided both rooms, still up and trying to get his tomatoes as round as the real ones when he heard something, making him get up instantly, startling his older brother.
“What is it Genma? Need me to take you to the toilet?”
“Nii-chan, I heard something.” his eyes were wide opened, confused, worried, he didn’t know what to think.
“Something like what-“ before Genma could even reply to his brother, Sanehiko could hear one of his father’s feral growl-like grunts echoing throughout the house.
“Oh, I see. We are probably having another sibling soon then.” he went back into his futon, turning on his side as to cover his idle ear and be able to focus on his reading.
Genma was speechless, even more confused than ever. He could swear he heard his lovely mother, most likely in pain and now his father sounded somewhat dangerous. Was it ok for him to stay in his room? Should he not go and make sure his mother was fine?
“Don’t even think about going to check on her, Genma. Father would have your head on a plate for that.” the glare his older brother was giving him meant troubles, but he was so very worried for his mother’s well being, he had to do something.
“Go to sleep now, you can finish your drawing tomorrow. Trust me, mother will be fine.” he knew how attached his little brother was to his mother, every time he heard her make the slightest sound of discomfort he would run over to see if he could help her in any way, Sanehiko could see the desperate look on his little brother’s face.
“Come here, you can sleep with me tonight.” moving aside, he set his book down and brought his baby brother safely by his side, covering one of his little ears with his hand to make sure the toddler couldn’t hear anything else that could aggravate him further.
It was a rare occasion, you both really tried hard to conceal every littlest sound of pleasure for the sake of your children, no matter how much Sanemi loved your lovely cries of love, your children were first. But Sanehiko noticed that not long after it happens every time, his mother would start getting rounder, another sibling arriving later. He was a clever boy even without knowing much about the subject.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
As soon as Genma heard you in the kitchen the next morning, he ran over to you, lifting both of your arms up and checking every inch of you, making sure you were ok.
“Good morning my love, did you have a nice sleep?” he just nodded in disinterest. Once he finished verifying his mother was in one piece, the hateful glare he shut his father made him choke on his tea.
“What is that look supposed to mean young man?” he knew angering his father was a bad idea, but he couldn’t even sleep properly thinking of what could all that mean.
“Father, how do you make babies?” the pan you were holding fell on the kitchen floor spilling all its content. You were not expecting to have this talk so soon, at least not with Genma.
“Why do you care? Want one? I have a couple I could let you borrow.” Sanemi was trying to stir the child away from his question as a way to lower the amount of stress radiating from you at the moment.
“I heard you being mean with mother last night and nii-chan said you were making babies. I want an explanation. Does it hurt you, mother? If so, please don’t make any more.” Your husband came to your rescue as you almost fainted at the newly gained information.
Your son heard you.
Your baby boy, the light of your eyes, heard you moaning your husband’s name.
You felt awful, disgusted with your own self. How to explain this to a five-year-old?
“Ugh, it does hurt but only when they come out and I am never mean to your mother, you should know that.” and he wasn't, if there was someone that knew this to be true were his children. He could never even get angry at you, he would get angry at them, but he would rather get hurt himself than do any potential harm to his dear love.
“Then why was she crying in pain last night? Don’t think I didn’t hear it! And I heard you too, father. Being all mean!”
“I did no such thing. How do you know it was me? Maybe it was a wolf, we live up a mountain after all, that’s our every day. And the painful cry you heard, wasn’t it a deer? Remember we heard one the other day that sounded just like a crying woman? That was most likely it.” Genma was now getting confused, easily being swayed by his father’s distractions. He knows what he did, he is 100% sure that what his son heard had to do with the wonderful night of lovemaking he and his wife shared hours ago, but he didn’t want you to pass out in shame he had to do something.
“I would recognize my mother’s voice anywhere.” Having this little creature scowling up at Sanemi was almost comical, but Sanehiko being the responsible older brother he is, had to do something before the situation escalated.
“It wasn’t a wolf father, don’t worry I made sure it was you guys. I told Genma to leave you alone, the baby making is usually this loud, he probably just doesn’t remember.” all remaining color from your face left, your cold hands reaching over for your husband’s in agony.
Your first born knew about this, heard you more than once.
You were terrible parents, you should both be punished by law. Beating yourself over your own actions, your eyes began to water, sending Sanemi into panic mode.
“So what if we did? Is not like you can boss me around, kid. She’s your mother, but she was my wife first, and I’ll put as many babies in her as I want. End of the story, go grab some eggs for breakfast.” he was cradling your face gently, nuzzling your nose with his own, trying to bring you back to life with his warmth.
“But father, how does it work?” Sanemi’s veins were popping out of his forehead, toddlers can be a pain with all their questions and curious nature and he loves his toddlers, but his wife looked like a corpse, he needed to end this conversation now.
Sanehiko jumped in, sensing his father’s wrath. “Do you remember when Cookie was pregnant? Before it happened we saw Blue climbing onto her back and she looked like she was in a lot of pain too. That’s how blue put Milky inside of her.” Sanemi’s hands fell from your face, that was it, his wife would pass out for sure. He never expected his son to use cows as analogy for his younger brother.
Genma’s face was one full of horror imagining his poor beloved mother being rammed into like poor little Cookie.
“But how does the baby go inside? Where does it come from? I didn’t see Blue putting anything inside, no babies came out.” That was it, you were losing it.
“Sweetie, we will explain this a bit better when you grow up, ok? Just know I’m fine, I’m in no form of pain, your father would never hurt me.”
“Okay, but can I ask one more question?” nobody answered so the child continues, “I think I saw Blue peeing inside of Cookie. So, you pee inside of the other and then a baby comes out? Does this mean if I pee on a tree, babies will come out of flowers?” your baby boy was adorable no one could deny that, but just as troublesome.
“It’s a different kind of pee.”
“SANEMI!” you swatted his arm in alarm, you really didn’t want to continue with this conversation, why was he being like this!
“Another type of pee? So, I don’t have flower babies then? Maybe I should listen to mother and only pee in the toilet just in case.”
“Y-yes, that’s it baby. Let’s just pee in the toilet, ok? Now can you go and get the eggs for your father, please?” he’s never seen your face get this red, he made you uncomfortable and he knows it, but he really wanted to know more about this.
“I have one more question mother, just one more, I promise.” you defleated on a chair, braising yourself for what was to come.
“Isn’t it gross that father pees in you? Was I born out of pee? You told me pee was the water I drink during the day. Is that why we are 80% water? Oh! Is there some kind of special drink father has to drink to pee babies?”  Didn’t he say he had one question-
Sanemi got up to block you from sight, crouching down to his son’s size. “Genma. Baby pee is not water, it comes out of you only when needed, you don’t have to worry about peeing babies now, your body can’t do that yet, you’re too young, not even Sanehiko can. Once your body is ready for that, I will tell you all you need to know about it, ok? Now let’s just not mention this again around your mother, alright? It’s a little embarrassing for her.” he knew mentioning the effect on his mother would end the conversation, he would never do anything to make his mother feel bad.
“Why is she embarrassed? I thought she was proud of me….” his little bottom lip was jutting out, eyes glistening with unshed tears. That’s it, now he made his son cry, great, just great.
Coming out from behind your husband, you spoke in a soft tone, laced with as much love as discomfort, “I am, my love. I would never be embarrassed of any of you, I love you so, so much, you make us proud every day just by being here with us. I just don’t know how explain this without making you worry, baby. I promise your father has never been mean to me, you trust me, right?”
“More than anything.” he waddled over into your arms, wanting to be comforted by his loving mother. Truth is he was very worried last night, he is happy to know his mother wasn’t in pain, even if he had now some other sanitary concerns.
Remi was up by the door listening to everything without any of you knowing. All this conversation picking her interest.
“So, someone will pee inside Remi one day?” she was making her way over to her parents, now it was Sanemi’s turn to lose his balance.
“WHAT? No, never. Nobody will ever do that. I would cut their dick in half before they even get near you, princess.” his daughter was pouting, still sleepy and very confused.
“What’s a dick, ppa?” he went white as a ghost, this was your time to rescue your man.
“Is what men use to pee, baby.” you took her from Sanemi’s arms, giving him space to breathe.
“So ppa has one too? Can I see it?” a loud thump could be heard, Sanemi fell on his butt, his eyes lost in the distance. Ah~ So this is how you felt just now…
“He does, but you’ve seen one already. You help mama change Senri every day, don’t you my love?”
“Oh!! The acorn looking thingy! Remi knows!” the look of despair in Sanemi’s face made you laugh, your family is like no other, of that, you were sure.
“That’s it. Now how about we all start preparing breakfast? I don’t know you, but I’m starving!” Seemed like the interrogation was now over, the kids went to their room to bring both missing siblings to the dining area.
Finally, you both got to breathe.
“Thanks babe. I thought it would never end. How did we even get into this mess? We were so quiet last night...” Sanemi wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing a loving kiss to the back of your neck.
“I can’t believe they heard us, Nemi. We gotta be more careful!” to this he only nodded, you were so warm, it was distracting him, his hips started looking for friction on their own, very quickly forgetting everything you just said.
“Shinazugawa Sanemi! Are you trying to pee in me with your acorn thingy?” you really knew how to kill a hard on.
Both of you burst into a fit of loud laughter, parenting was hard, you had areas of improvement just like everyone, nobody was perfect. But marrying you was more to Sanemi than just a way to keep living, you weren’t just his wife, you were his best friend, the best lover there is, the best mother ever. He loved how even after the messy morning you just had you could still laugh together like you did all those years back when you were younger and were experimenting with one and another, life was perfect all thanks to you.
“Yup, you fucking caught me. I’ll make sure to save some for after dinner, see how many acorns can fit in your-“
“PPA!” Remi was waiting for her father out by the front door impatiently.
“Coming princess. Let’s go for those eggs.” He’s never shut up this fast in his entire life, being a parent is hard, specially when your wife is as addicting as his is.
Acorns would never look the same to any of you.

Okay here me out please....So reader leaves their beloved baby with their father Muzan for the night, because he said he can handle it....he can't the baby is everywhere, he can't take his eyes off of them for a minute without her just vanishing to somewhere else. Eventually baby get's of the infinity castle and finds herself being coddled by Yoriichi and Muzan is just.....`he's panicking and like he don't know what to do, so like eventually he has to fess up to reader that he fucked up and she has to go get the baby and she and yorrichi lightly have a conversation (roast session) about muzan and responsibility
I know this is a bit strange but please I just think it would be funny
Oh? Okay, okay! I’ll try my best with this and hey, we get to see Yoriichi again! I missed Yoriichi so thank you dearly for giving us the angel back! The angel and demon
If you don’t mind, I’ll name the kid myself since haven’t been given a name
Kibutsuji Muzan- Wondering Child
Tumblr media
“Muzan, my love. All you need to do is watch Kuragari” You gently remark with a soft voice and a understanding tint, offering the newborn Kuragari to your husband as his blood reds scanned over both you and the cooing baby. Muzan scoffed under his breath at the rather easy task you given him, watch his own biological infant. He could do it blindfolded and with one arm tied to his back
The moment you walked out of the room, Muzan immediately plopped the blood red-eyed baby into his cute little playcrib as he sat down, right before Kuragari in his playarea, to pick up a nearby abandoned novel to skim through the hefty pages and pinpoint the chapter he was at. He took his eyes of the boy for only a minute or so when he realised the lack of cooing and giggling was concerning, looking up. His heart drooped in concern
He’s gone? He’s gone?! Where did he go?! He’s a baby! How is he gone already?!
Muzan almost panicked as he shot up from his comfortable plush armchair and frantically checked every nook and cranny of the spacious room for Kuragari with some… or more, all furniture thrown at the walls along the way, no success further alarmed him. How is a few months year old already more fidgety and energetic than a bumbling four year old
Muzan ended up almost destroying the entire Infinity Castle in search for a single small demon. He truly had no clue where that bouncing newborn could be and the only reason he had a decent clue was because a number of trees leading down a specific dirt path, once transported out of the Infinity Castle, had the same fang-like bite marks in them. As if a baby animal was teething on the trunks
Perfect
The King of Demons couldn’t be anymore thankful that time itself had given him a shred of mercy and averted the sky to pitch black so the glowing moon would shower cool moonlight down on his dead white complexion. His slight relief was cut short when he finally found the source of sudden familiar giggling, he knew that voice belonged to his son so he followed it
And what he saw terrified him as he definitely had his hands too tied to be able to take action
That… that bastard, Tsugikuni Yoriichi holding his precious baby boy in his lap as Kuragari happily rose his cute tiny hands up to touch Yoriichi’s much bigger, calloused palms. The monstrous human had a very shocked expression on his face as his plum reds looked ready to swell up in tears, his heart touched by the Prince of Demons being so sweet and playful, despite being the enemy
Muzan knew very well he couldn’t intervene at all as the last time he hardly butted heads with that Yoriichi. He only got away with one single strand of his entire being left, it was far too close for his comfort though, he knew he also needed to get his beloved Kuragari back. The only solution that came to his head was you, the boy’s mother
You were a human, just like Yorichi. You could get the boy back, no problem. Unlike Muzan himself
Cemented on his meticulous plan to get his baby back from that beast, Muzan rushed back to the Infinity Castle at his top speed and seemingly arrived in the same room you stood before, just in the nick of time to greet you. “Greetings, my love. Where’s Kuragari?” You ask softly and almost immediately, out of concern as Muzan flinches guilty, sighing out to try relieve him of the stress. He should just tell you, no need to lie or gaslight you into believing such nonsense
“You know that beast, Tsugikuni. He has stolen our son. I only took my eyes off him for a minute, if not two and he was gone, I luckily tracked him down by the teeth marks on trees but I cannot get him back, you know” You sighed displeased, part of you knew this simple task would end in absolute disaster but since you loved the clueless demons, you just flashed a sweet, gentle smile and took his hand encouragingly
“Let’s go find our Kuragari then, my dear”
Laughing joyfully with your precious Kuragari sat on your lap, fiddling and pulling on the lengthy ends of your haori to entertain himself and satisfy his curiosity. You were perched on the open wooden edge-skirt of the homely Minka belonging to the one and only swordsman that ruled the battlefield with a platinum fist, Yoriichi himself. The same Yoriichi who apparently ‘stole’ your son but you got the actual picture from Yoriichi and it made you realise your husband is no where near competent with childcare
“I found this one crawling around my backyard. I don’t know how he got there but he seemed to have travelled miles and was hungry, he kept biting at everything” Every word that human man said felt very genuine and you weren’t ever gonna try deny that him and his statements were
His explanation of the situation made much more sense than what Muzan proclaimed happened, such a weird one nevertheless. Yoriichi didn’t even know your son existed in the first place, why would he go after him?
Needless to say… you and Yoriichi spent almost a hour trading innocent insults at Muzan and his so-called parenting style. You didn’t really hate your husband, he actually tried and took responsibility by telling you about losing him but he should always be watching Kuragari, the newborn should never left alone not had eyes taken off him for even a minute and somebody like Yorichi, who lost his soon-to-be-born child to a demon, knows that
You have learnt to never entrust Kuragari to Muzan, you will just have to go to Yoriichi instead

┊┊┊✧ ⁺ ⁺╚══ Sound Pillar ╝
Premise: A broken man, a shattered dream and purpose. Retirement made Tengen feel useless, a rather confident man shatters to the ground, new resolution and sense of one self blooms from it as he meets the right person at the right moment.
Word count: 4551
Warning: spoilers, the story takes place in between and after the manga’s original timeline. Just a tiny bit suggestive, because Tengen lol.
Note: This is in a way linked to my previous Giyuu story (link here if you're interested).
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Uzui Tengen won over the upper moon six.
So why did it feel like he lost?
He lost many things that day, his position as the sound pillar, his arm, even one of his beautiful eyes, but most importantly, his ego got bruised. They won, yes, but at a very high cost.
There was no other option than to retire, to leave his beloved demon corps behind.
Once again, he was forced out of his predetermined way of living, first out of his shinobi village, now the corps.
He felt empty, lost, useless.
His sense of self had been shattered once more without the promise of a brighter future.
Last time he lost his family, his house, his identity, but won his three wives, his companions, his new family, it wasn’t a bad deal. But this time, what did he win? He got one moon killed, that’s all. If it would have been Muzan this would be a different story, but it was just an upper moon, a lower one in ranks at that to make it all worse.
Wasn’t he supposed to be strong? Were his muscles all good for nothing? All his training and knowledge? Now it would all go to waste.
Lost in his own misery, Tengen found solace in alcohol. He wasn’t particularly fond of the beverage nor proud of himself for turning to the easy way out, but he needed something that could make him forget the emptiness of his heart.
Tengen was a regular patron at a family owned izakaya downtown. The old man made the best side dishes he’s tried in his life, that plus the stories of his youth as a retired demon slayer would always bring a smile to his face, he somehow felt like the father figure he never had, he was kind, experienced, wise, he always knew how to make him feel better regardless of the struggle. So, he decided it would be a good time to pay the old man a visit.
He would always sit at the counter, order a drink or two and just enjoy the evening. However, he had already been drinking that day and his appearance wasn’t as well kept as it normally is. He was still wearing a bandage over his lost eye and refused to leave his uniform behind just yet.
When he arrived, there were only a couple of customers sitting way over the back of the shop, the counter was completely empty, all for him like he liked it, though the old man wasn’t in sight. He assumed he was in the kitchen and went over to his usual stool.
A young woman came out of the back trying her best to balance three dishes at once, startling Tengen who was awfully close to the entrance door. “I’m so sorry sir. I will take your order in a second!”, scrambling over to the back table, she handed over the food delicately placed on the plates and brought over some refills for their beer.
“Excuse me for the delay, my father hurt his leg yesterday and I offered to take over his place until he recovers, I’m still trying to get the hang of this. What can I get for you?” his crestfallen expression made your stomach sink, he wasn’t pleased, he even looked upset, maybe you talked too much and he didn’t want to be bothered.
“That’s a shame, I came here just to talk with the old man. He always knows how to lift my spirits. I’ll have a beer though if you don’t mind. Maybe something to munch on as well.” his tone was softer than you expected, his voice alluring and raw, you could hear the drawl of alcohol mixed in it, but he looked pretty sober still.
“Sure! I dried out some squid it pairs perfectly with this new brew we have, let me get you some right away.” your enthusiasm and welcoming smile calmed his nerves, he was disappointed that he wouldn’t get to talk with his old friend, but this wasn’t half bad, you did take after him, he could see the resemblance.
He knew he had a daughter, but this was the first time he’s seen you. Your father married a younger woman right after retiring from the corps, Tengen met your mother once and he remembers teasing the old man for marrying such a hottie, he had it in him, he was still good looking for his age, muscles still present from his rigorous training and he wished to be like him when he got older. But never really expected his daughter to be around his age and this pretty, it was quite the shock.
Everything was delightful, not only the squid and the beer prototype but your company. He almost even forgot he was feeling down, you were just as chatty as your father, cheerful, knew how to make him laugh, it was an unexpected turn for the night.
“So, you are the famous Uzui-sama? I’ve heard so much about you from my father. It’s such a pleasure to finally meet you!” he suddenly feels his heart drop, he talks too much and is aware of everything he’s told your father, he knows about his three wives, he knows about his bad habits. He’s never been ashamed of having three wives, not even once in his life, until this day.
He somehow wishes he was a normal guy in his early twenties, someone with the luxury of getting to know you better.
“Have you now. All good things I hope.” he tried to mask his uneasiness with his usual sassy attitude, hoping for the best. Even if he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to wish for something of the sort.
“Yes! I’ve heard of your legendary fights with scary demons and even about how handsome you were. Not everyone can have three wives after all.” your cheeky smile made him choke with his drink, he was hoping the old man hadn’t mention them, that damn sneaky geezer.
“Hmm…well it doesn’t really have anything to do with my good looks, mind you. That is the norm for Shinobi households. The head of your family chooses three women for you when you turn fifteen and you’re supposed to bring lots of heirs for the clan. I did run away before that could happen though.” this new piece of information made your eyes gleam for some reason, and he didn’t miss the relieved expression on your delicate face, even if it lasted less than a second.
“I see. So, are they more like sisters? Or are they functional wives?” there was a soft shade of pink dusting your beautiful cheeks at the implications behind the question, one of your fingers was twirling around your locks in an almost shy flirty kind of way. It was bolder than he expected, he liked how flamboyant that was.
“Sisters…huh. Never thought about it that way. I guess you can say one of them is, she’s kind of grumpy, always fights with everyone but she’s a wonderful shinobi. Then we have one that’s like a mother figure to all, she’s the one that cooks and keeps the house in order, we all respect her. And the last one is more like a pet, clingy, cute, cries a lot, gives everyone headaches.” a long sigh came out of him after he recounts his daily life. None of them sounded like the type of wife you feared the most, interesting.
Your giggles brought him back to reality, they were like music to his depressed ears, “Doesn’t sound too different from my own house. Though, we don’t have a pet.”
“Are you…I mean…do you have your own family, or do you still live with your parents?” the alcohol was completely out of his system by now, his mood changing completely for something he was not hoping to see today.
“I live with my parents. I know I’m a little old for that but I’m still waiting for the right one, if you know what I mean.” your eyes were beautiful, the low light of the bar area just accentuated their natural glow even more, your lips looked so plush and full, kissable was the only way to describe them. He was suddenly very aware of the fact that the shop was completely empty now, he was the last customer of the night and was probably time for him to leave as well. A pity.
“Yeah, I know what you mean. I may have three wives, but not by choice. Can’t say I’ve been in love before. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wives, they’re my family. It’s just that you know that young love experience? Sneaking out to meet each other, first kisses, all that, yeah, never had it.” you were nodding in thought, even if his situation was pretty unrelatable, you could understand the feeling as you’ve always craved the same thing, therefore rejecting any possibility of an arranged marriage.
“It’s difficult to come by if you ask me. Everyone I know gets married for convenience. Love is a rare occurrence these days. It’s why I admire my parents. They didn’t care for how society would see them, father being on the older side and all, but they’re as happy and in love as teenagers regardless of what others might say.”
“Your father is an awesome man, he deserves nothing but the best.” the smile you gave him made his heart explode in a very flamboyant way, leaving him breathless.
“Thank you for your kind words, Uzui-sama. Even if it pains me, I’m afraid we must continue this wonderful conversation another day. It’s getting pretty late and there’s been rumors of demons around the area, father forbid me to keep the shop open until late.”
This alerted Tengen, he was in no condition to protect you if the worse was to happen, it couldn’t be risked. The feeling of being useless crept back into his chest, a feeling he’s been neglecting for the past few hours. Your cheerfulness was contagious, you’ve managed to make him feel alive again, to forget who he was, what tied him to his depressive state, you’ve managed to make him feel like just a man in a bar meeting a beautiful woman for the first time, he was livid. But reality was very different and it crashed hard on him like a bucket of icy cold water.
“You better go then, sadly your protector for the night has become a useless man. Wouldn’t want to put you in danger if I can no longer protect you.” his eyes turned dark, his expression falling. Making your way around the counter, you rested your hand on top of his, offering comfort. “You’re not useless, Uzui-sama. I’ve seen my father behead a demon with a spoon. Just because you lost an arm doesn’t mean you’re useless. Pretty sure you could protect me without a struggle if it was necessary. Besides, I’m not a maiden that needs to be protected, I know my way around, believe it or not.” the teasing tone in your voice made Tengen’s grin return, you were a handful there was no doubt about that.
“Call me Tengen, beautiful.” the soft look in his eyes took your breath away, he was perfection even if half of his face was covered in bandages.
He left the shop with a smile on his face, his worries all shoved down a drain. It amused him how just talking to you for a few hours could make such a difference in the way he sees the world. He didn’t feel useless anymore, you were right, this was just an obstacle it wasn’t the end of the world. Having just one eye was better than not having any, he just had to find a way to look even more flamboyant than ever to make up for the loss, easypeasy.
His heart was still racing, his chest felt warm.
That night he sent his wives to their own room, he had a lot to think about.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
It’s been four days since your last encounter. Tengen was doing his best to restrain himself and stay home, he didn’t want to seem easy or to come across as pushy, but he couldn’t take it anymore, he had to see you even if it was just for a few minutes, even if it was just through a window, anything would do.
“Uzui-sama! What a pleasure to have you back this soon. My daughter told me of your last visit, it’s a shame I was bedridden that day.” your father had now resumed his duties, sending Tengen into a nervous breakdown, he never expected him to be back this soon. Would he ever get to see you again? Is not like he knows where you live.
“Old man! You’re back already? Shouldn’t you be resting? I heard you hurt your leg. Rest is important to heal, I’m sure you know that.” there was a knowing smirk on your father’s face, he knew where this was coming from.
“I’m fine really, it doesn’t even hurt any more. Shouldn’t bother my lovely daughter for this, it gets bad when men get drunk and try to touch her, sadly it happens very often.” Tengen’s face went feral, he was seeing red at this point, wishing he had his swords with him, “They did WHAT? Tell me who they are, I will kill them all and feed them to stray dogs.” this made your father chuckle, he saw the look on your face when you were telling him about his visit, your happy sway the next morning while you prepared breakfast, it’s something he can identify quite well, and he could see it reflected in Tengen’s face too.
“If I knew who they were, they would be dead already Uzui-sama.”
“Good point. Do tell me if anyone even dares to look at her the wrong way, I can help exterminating pests.” the venom in his words was comical, he was so angry, and he’s only met you once.
“Will do, please come inside, I will prepare something for you.”
“Don’t worry about me old man, it’s too early for a drink, I was just passing by and wanted to say hello.” he was about to continue with his life when he heard his favorite little voice from afar.
“FATHER!!” you were running after him slowly, dragging a ridiculously large bag full of potatoes, he said he wanted to switch the menu around but forgot to bring with him the main ingredients.
“(Y/N) my love, what is it? Oh! How could I forget the potatoes? I’m certainly getting old.” your face was red from exertion, your breath ragged from the little race.
“Let me carry those for you, they look heavy.” Tengen got the bag up with his good hand like if it was weightless, causing your eyes to dart up to your savior.
“Tengen-sama! I didn’t know you’d be here. How have you been?” you were mentally cursing at yourself for not choosing something nicer to wear, you didn’t even fix your hair as you were just going to drop the potatoes in the shop and head back to your house.
“Well, I didn’t know I would be either, but it happened that way. I’ve been good, how about you? Missing me much?” this made you blush, smiling up at the man in front of you, you had in fact, but never expected him to ask such a question. Your father cleared his throat, making the bubble you two had created pop, you both forgot he was even there.
“Come inside Uzui-sama, seems like your plans for the day have changed.” your father was a sneaky man, he knew what was going on and shouldn’t be endorsing it, but he’s never seen you smile like that.
“Yeah, I guess I can stay for a bit.”
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The sun had set and Tengen was still in your shop, though, instead of being in the counter where he usually was, he was now sneaking into the kitchen where you were pealing potatoes for your father.
It startled you at first, his hand coming over to cover your mouth to keep you from making any noise. “Tengen-sama?” your voice was muffled against the palm of his hand, making him chuckle.
“Shhh…the old man will hear us.” he was closing the door, scooting closer to you in the tight space.
“Do you need something?” the closeness was making you sweat with anticipation, he was towering over you, his eyes slightly hooded lost in your face. “I missed you…couldn’t get you out of my head, that’s why I came…” your heart was racing so fast you feared he could hear it from where he was.
“I did too, Tengen-sama. But we should probably don’t act on these feeli-“ he cut you short slamming his lips against yours, instantly letting a small whimper out. Your lips tasted wonderfully, they were so soft, so warm, just like he imagined they would be but even better than his wildest fantasy. Your hands came to lace around his neck, pulling him impossibly closer to your body, taking in all he had to offer.
You both knew this was wrong, but none of you could avoid it any longer.
“Tengen-sama…what about your wives…?” you were mumbling against his lips in between kisses, his hand tugging on your kimono trying to expose as much skin as possible without getting you undressed. He just needed to kiss every inch of you, right now.
“What about them? They’ll love you…who wouldn’t? You’re gorgeous, kind, overall lovely…they might even try to steal you away…” his needy panting was driving you insane and you wished desperately your father wasn’t behind that flimsy door.
You held him by his shoulders, doing your best to stop his ministrations, this was a bad idea. “Tengen-sama, we can’t do this here.” he was now holding you up in his arm, keeping you trapped against the wall while he kissed down your neck. “Shall we go to my house then, doll? Don’t think I can live a day more without you…” his words were making you feel drunk, you needed this man as much as he needed you, but this was not the place for that.
“Ok….” Your voice was nothing but a breathless whisper and you were not sure this was such a good idea either; your father wouldn’t be there, but three unknown possibly threatening women would.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The walk over to his state was unbearable, the heat was overwhelming outside and inside of you. Tengen threw you over his shoulder in despair and ran over the town to speed up the process as his insides were also melting.
Without even announcing his arrival, he got into the house from his bedroom’s window, throwing you on his bed and devouring you for hours on.
It was an experience, that much was a fact.
He was unstoppable and so were you apparently.
The girls noticed something was off, even if you muffled every possible sound coming out of you, Tengen didn’t, and he was living his best life.
He’s never enjoyed himself this much, didn’t even think it would be this different. He’s been with many women before, his wives included, but you, you were a treat that he couldn’t get enough of.
He kept you in his room for days, it was just not an option for you to leave. Not like you wanted to anyways.
But this wasn’t just lust. This was intimacy as its best.
He would lay his head on your lap while you played with his hair, hearing him retell his stories of grater days.
You would feed each other while cuddling on his floor.
Shared multiple baths.
Even got to decorate his eyepatch with the remains of his old headband jewels that he had laying around in his room.
At this point it was pretty obvious to the rest that he had a woman in his room. But Suma was the only one bothered by this. Hina and Makio had accepted that this would eventually happen at some point, they’ve messed around with others as well with Tenge’s authorization, this wasn’t a strict household, they all could do whatever they pleased. But this was the first time Tengen brought a woman home. It was an indication that you were important, this meant serious business and they had no saying in this.
“Baby…why don’t you stay here for good? You know…be my wife maybe? I don’t think I can send you back to your parents’ house after all this…” his face was buried in the softness of your chest, unwilling to let go of you.
“Tengen…you already have a wife…three actually.”
“And? They have their own room, you can stay here with me if it bothers you. I’m sure you can all become good friends, they’re nice girls I promise.” Littering kisses over your exposed skin, he was in heaven, needed to sway you to his side.
“I don’t know Tengen…I mean I would marry you for sure, there’s no doubt there. But this isn’t a normal situation, and you know that. I’m not telling you to choose or anything, I just…I don’t know…” anxiety was filling his lungs, he’s never felt such attachment towards someone. Sure he was afraid of loosing his wives to the upper moon, but this was different. He felt like he needed you by his side, you made him want to continue living even after reaching such a low point. You made him laugh, you made him love.
“Baby please…give us a chance. I promise I’ll make you the happiest woman…”
You agreed to meet the girls and he was right, they were all lovely, even Suma who seemingly hated you was a nice girl.
Hina welcomed you to the family with her arms open and you could quickly see who was who based on the descriptions previously given by Tengen. They were lovely and accepted you as part of the group practically as soon as they saw you. Suma sulked for weeks as you were deemed Tengen’s one true love, she loved her husband dearly, so she felt a little betrayed unlike the rest that were happy the family was growing.
Your father had already accepted you would be sharing your husband, he wasn’t as bothered as your mother was, but they weren’t a conventional couple either, so they accepted him, nonetheless.
And so, you became a new addition to the Uzui household.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Life was chaotic to say the least.
Tengen honored his promise making you sleep with him in the master bedroom while the others slept in their own. He would still go to their room often, but your place was pretty much stablished among them.
You four were all his wives, but you were his woman.
This was further confirmed when you were the one he decided to impregnate.
The thought of having offspring terrified him, he couldn’t help to think of the bloodbath his family had to suffer under his father’s own commands.
But you made him want to experience fatherhood. He would be following your father’s steps, not his. He would be the best dad there is and you would be one to carry his first child.
Once pregnant not even Suma could resist how cute you were all round and fluffy. They spoiled you rotten constantly, you had the best food there was, the bigger portions. Tengen was over the moon and would carry you everywhere afraid of anything bad happening to his child.
Your first born was welcomed to this world surrounded by warmth and reaching an immense number of hearts.
Tomioka Giyuu, Tengen’s friend was invited by him for the big day, he was so proud of his lovely wife he wanted the entire universe to come and see his beautiful newborn. Of course, he never thought his friend would hog his child as soon as he was born. The first face your son ever saw was not yours nor your husbands, not even his grandparents but an old friend.
Tengen was in charge of naming his first born. He wanted something flashy, something that screamed power. So, he went for ‘Shingen’, promising you would be able to name the next one.
He quickly became the little prince of the house.
Adored little Shingen was surrounded by beautiful women from the day he was born onward, what could be more flamboyant than that.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Time Skip~
You’ve been living as a family of eight for quite some time now, even if it was tempting to bring more lovely children to this world, the household was anything but quiet already.
Suma had gone in a rant a while back, she was hurt, felt unloved. She wanted to provide Tengen with a child as well, wanted to be loved as she used to before you came to the house. The rift between you two was unavoidable. Tengen refused to leave any of them pregnant without your consent and you had to agree just to shut her up, it was quite aggravating, and it was upsetting Shingen who kept on begging for a sibling. He did want one, but from his mother and father, he just didn’t understand his dysfunctional home, he was too young for that.
A little girl was born from her rant, and she not only looked like her mother but acted just like her too.
It drove things to a still point and you were considering leaving the house with your son. But you loved your husband too much for your own good, you just couldn’t muster the strength to do it.
Shingen’s temper was growing sour, he disliked the current living arrangements way too much as he was used to being the center of attention.
His father thought giving him the little sibling he used to ask for so often would alleviate his load, bring his cheerful flamboyant son back, and magically, it worked.
When Tenya came to this world, Shingen went back to his soft loving nature, the four of you lived in Tengen’s room and he felt safe there, it was your family’s own little home within the house, your happy place.
Tenya was now the center of attention, and he was fine with that, at least it was his actual brother, and he loved him, he was all he ever wished to have and for a second thought he would never.
He feared his family would collapse, that his father would choose one of the other women and make them the main wife, it terrified him being replaced, having that annoying kid take his rightful place. He loved his father so much, looked up to him, he was everything for Shingen. Having a brother was his way of securing his place in the house, he wouldn’t want to go with someone else if there was a new baby in your little family, right? Proud of developing the perfect plan, he looked more like Tengen as days went on.
Suma had asked for your forgiveness and you two went back to being friends, your son however, would never.
The air around the house was tense and more often than not you wanted to run away from there.
This was your decision, you knew it would be hard, sharing your one true love was not something everyone could do, but you didn’t regret it. Tengen loves you, you know it, the world knows it, he gave you your beloved sons, you were happy regardless of the confrontations and attention seeking displays.
A letter had arrived from the Ubuyashiki mansion to celebrate Kiriya-sama’s coming of age ceremony and everyone was invited, even the children.
Tengen was particularly looking forward to seeing his pillar friends and get to brag about his beautiful big family.
His household was unconventional. Troublesome. Loud.
He brought war into his own house, but he found true love in the process. He was a new man, a respected husband and father.
Life would continue with its hardships but having you and the gang by his side was all he needed for the rest of his days.
But he had to fix the mess he got himself into.

“You… you have no right to call me your SON”
I don’t mention Thinbu much but he is the love child of Rasshu and Gyutaro. Thinbu grows up knowing what Gyutaro did and resents all demons for it. He loved his mother and hates that his father took her away from the world.
(This video is actually Thinbu asking Sankonji “Rasshu’s old best friend” if he looks anything like his father since he never really “met” him)
