yes it has been 10 years for me with sims 4 and here I am recreating my four favorite sims that have put an impact on me ngl- I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE FIRST OF JANUARY TO UPLOAD THEM :D

it’s funny because for me I have THOUSANDS of screenshots and nice memories of them that I never upload in social media, but to yall its new faces n new personalities you ran into, pretty wild.

from here imma go ramble a little about their characters and who they are:

KIM : he is pretty straightforward guy cuz he is LITERALLY the first sim I made in sims 4, he is goofball, bro, and an outgoing guy, he dreamed to be a joke star and I believe he did! its was sooo old, all I remember is that I used to do all the goofy insane stuff with him, he might sometimes dress as a gentleman but he is just a silly guy, he used to have a blonde wife that i dont remember n two kids that i didnt really cared about lmao

LEVI : the only reason I made him is to try out more male cc that I downloaded (that was literally when i started to download good male cc) AND ALSO when the vampire pack released I believe… yep he is a vampire! but he dies to the sun because i kept spamming the weakness thingy thinking it is a strength- he used to live in san my with his little toddler sister; he is a musician and omg he did have a beautiful voice i could never get tired of him… into guitar mostly and wrote so much songs! with him I was literally just trying so much new stuff since we bought some DLCs, also the toddlers update dropped, vampire, city..etc.

DANTE : he is literally the most sim that had an impact on me, not just to me! also my siblings they all know him n never forgot him, he used to be a sim in a save where I did play with a rich family who live in the city, dante was a loner guy live in a small apartment with his big bro who was literally the most extrovert sim alive- he is an athlete guy and really healthy! dante did pumped into the blonde women from the rich family, they both kinda fell for eachother and became endgame! the women is a future president and she did! miss her :( and dante is just a househusband dreaming to have a simple live BUT what’s funny to me is that he never had a normal live literally all the crazy stuff happen to him lmao, anyway he is into jazz so much- lord I remember spamming the jazz station ALOT while playing with him, he have a puppy & a cat they were iconic, and he lived a long life really, had four kids, had so many grandkids, had so many winter fests, celebrated so many NYEs, to the fact his eldest son died before him crazy… but he was indeed an icon.

THEO : yall this boy… he was literally the first sim that i had who went thro a trauma like i didnt even plan it technically a daddy issues, theo used to have the perfect family; mom, dad, and a baby boy, but his dad became a famous actor, and the more fame he got the more he became a narcissist, he legit didnt care about his love live n only cared about himself; he became arrogant too and in that point is were theo’s parents got divorced and everything got complicated, after the drama he got a new brother an adopted one! theo were close with his bro, but theo grew up getting rebellious, was cutting lots of his hair because it reminded him of his dad, he looked so much like him, when he became a teen the boy dyed his hair all black not kidding he stayed like that forever but in my remake version i wanted to show his real hair hehe, he was into metal genre and yep his favorite color is black too, likes wearing chokers n piercings, he used to be friends with max villareal (love him so much n him n theo were so dang similar) and he was a HARD CORE GAMER yall not kidding he used to play alot in tournaments n always win to the fact he started to become famous like his dad he hated that, theo was mean af he was brutal honest yall dont joke with him, and even tho he was acting like an asshole sometimes but love was his weakness… he become surprisingly quiet. he was like the protector with his loved ones.

So. I've finished binge-watching Pit Babe.

and I have opinions. (yes I am aware it came out like a year ago. who cares) so, with very little order :

Tony died!! Yeah!! ngl, at one point I hoped Babe's father would come in to kill him, but Kenta doing it is even more satisfying so i'm happy with it. also those knife sounds were great. 10/10 no notes.

Babe's father was very obvious as Babe's father the second we met him. it's not necessarily a problem, i just found it funny that they were trying to create a mystery around him.

i didn't know it was an omegaverse when i began watching the show, but it was a pretty sanitized omegaverse, all things considered. no mentions of heat/rut, knotting, mate, pack, mating bite, bond, nesting. the mpreg was only implied. the word omega was uttered exactly once. beyond Tony wanting only alpha kids (with no explanation of what an alpha is), the plot to get a child from Babe, and Babe's fixation on his partner's smell (and most likely, Babe and Charlie's fixation on each other's neck), i often forgot it was an omegaverse. i understand not wanting to scare newbies, omegaverse can be wild, but i was surprised with how little we got of the common tropes. its not a flaw, i was just surprised.

Sonic needs to tell North he loves him. the guy is clearly ready to die for you. just because he's too stupid to realize he's in love with you doesn't mean he isn't.

also this two idiots were still in the building!! i thought they got the USB and then got out to publish the videos! but no! these two idiots were still in the building! thank fuck Kim was close by!!! (he was probably there on purpose, yes, but still. they should have gotten out!)

Way stays a walking red flag until his very last breath and I hate that for him. don't get me wrong, I saw his death coming. he was unredeemable, and we don't want the audience to hate him, so of course he was gonna die. i really don't like this trope, I'd rather he left Babe and X-Hunter behind and got a new chance with Pete, who was clearly ready to give him one and also who he hadn't betrayed and hurt in the worst way possible. but no, that's not how the trope works. he dies. because we don't know how to redeem characters without killing them. and to make the matter worst, he dies having one of his most fucked up interactions with Babe yet, and that's saying something considering his track record, confessing his love for the nth time which was understandable but already awkward on its own, and then asking if Babe ever loved him back when he has made very clear several times that he saw Way as his closest friend and nothing else, begging for forgiveness for trying to rape Babe, i swear to god!! the correct thing to say at this point was "i'm sorry i ever hurt you, i hope you get to be happy with Charlie, don't blame yourself for my death". instead, he gave him enough therapy material for the next decade! with one conversation! how the fuck is Babe supposed to grieve Way, or make peace with anything he has done to him, after that kind of last breath!

(seriously, i probably have enough to say about Way to write an entire essay. the man was fucked up)

Kim has now been officially adopted in the family, he's even invited to the funerals! (i am aware he was still Tony's prisoner during Charlie's funeral, i just found it funny.) we did not see enough of Kim after Tony imprisoned him btw. he is one of my favorite characters in this show and he deserved more screen time!

Did Charlie stole a power that just- teleport him to Babe when he's in danger? this is a least the second time he just appeared out of nowhere to save Babe with no explanation, and with a perfect timing at that.

Babe deserved to scream at Charlie for faking his death. Or a least have a breakdown the like of the one he had with his father. The reunion scene was great and emotional and shit, and it was adequate for the context, but i needed them to have a real conversation about it later. will look for fanfics on the matter.

my man Babe is gonna have so many trust issues it's not even funny anymore. like mate. both his fathers betrayed him (and sold him, though for different reasons), his best friend of 10 years betrayed him in one of the worst way possible, one of his other teammates betrayed him, and his boyfriend has been lying to him the entire time the have known each other, to the point of faking his death without telling him he was alive. listen, i was berating him every time he pushed Charlie away at the slightest sign of dishonesty because I don't like that trope, but I think in this case he was justified. it's going to be fun to get him to trust anyone ever again!

also that man can cry! and make me cry with him at that! like, i knew Charlie's death was a fake out, and i knew it was coming, but episode 10 still got me in tears because Babe's grief was fucking real. giving him his senses back just for him to hear his lover flat-line on the operation table was incredibly cruel. also "He's still warm. Maybe he's not dead yet". are you trying to kill me? also also : did he say "i love you" for the first time at Charlie's grave? because i think he did.

overall, pretty good execution of the fake death trope, they gave us time to feel the grief before revealing he was alive, it worked. (did the plot around said fake death make sense? not... quite? but the feels were there and that's what matters)

Jeff is my baby and i love him. he got a lover and a support system and that's great, though they could do with better communication and still have shit to learn about respecting boundaries. which is saying something because Jeff tends to be pretty fucking clear about his boundaries. i'm watching you Alan. also i've decided he's autistic. for obvious reasons.

the whole "papa and mama" thing Babe and Charlie have going on is not my thing, but it is particularly weird in a context where the last two men Babe called "Papa" betrayed him and hurt him terribly. i get that what they have going on is different, like it's not a daddy kink (which would have been even weirder), but it still left a weird taste in my mouth. i just - i don't know what to make of it. i don't think they got the implication of it when making the show?

Babe and Charlie both need therapy to a desperate level, and i do not trust any of them to try to get it on their own. let's hope the rest of the family team manages to get them there. i'm mostly counting on Jeff to start the movement on this one. and then the others can nicely bully them into getting professional help.

and i'm like...the note was when she asked you not go the first time. the note was when she needed support and you didn't know your kids age. the note was when she needed help with getting through chris's surgery while dealing with your bigoted family. the note was when she asked again for help but you chose to reenlist. the note was when she begged you for help because her mother was dying of cancer. he had to know for at least 5 months. the note was when he came back and said he needed time to heal while she was BEGGING you for help.

like take away eddie but focus on the fandom that demonizes shanon. this woman was alone, mentally alone, alone in the sense of family, around 18 or 19 years old, she's post-postpartum. she's dealing with her son having cp and having SO MANY doctor appointments. like, what eddie had to do in figuring out schooling and etc for chris, she had to do it alone and at a much younger age. in a society that will blame mothers is something is wrong with the kids.

why would she leave a note when she was already alone?

and another thing that gets me. it doesn't seem like eddie LOOKED for shanon until he needed her for something. and it's wild to me because when the shoe was on the other foot. shanon kept reaching out to eddie. she kept communicating with eddie. she tried to keep that relationship between eddie and chris alive by contacting the father. doesn't seem like eddie actually looked for shanon for those two years.

this is also why i want eddie to have a conversation with chris about the labor that shanon went through, the stuff chris won't remember because ppl talk about how good of a boy crhis is and how he got it from eddie but that foundation was shanon and she did it alone.

it was a wonderful moment for him to get it all off his chest but that's what i thought while everything was being said.

why would she leave note? she's been telling HIM what she needed, what was wrong, she had already asked him for help and was ignored. what more does she need to say in a note? that she has said to him already.

Jack. Hes a doctor and the main guy of the series.

Kate. Shes a criminal. The main girl of the series

Sawyer. Hes way better then the other two also a criminal the rival love interest for Kate.. hes gruff. Hes smarmy. he makes insensitive jokes about people. He gets a way more interesting story than the other two. Hes like Daryl Dixon from TWD except actually hot and not stupid as hell. Theyre basically the same guy.

The tension between these 3 fuckin idiots is SO played out. None of this is Kates fault but her character is made significantly worse when this love triangle turned love... square when Juliet gets added later. Jack gets with both Kate and Juliet at some point and theyre both way more interesting with basically anyone else. Including Sawyer!!!

This is all Jacks fault. As per usual.

Jacks claim to fame- Being wrong... all the god damn time. So much that he does is just not correct. Except being nice to Sayid. That is always correct.

Kates Claim to fame- Bein bogged down by fuckin love interests and being an immediately better character when not around them. Especially when shes with Claire.

Sawyers Claim to fame- Bein a redneck guy.

Sun and Jin. Sun is the daughter of some shady business man and Jin, because he loves Sun, ends up working for her father and their life kinda spirals for a bit NGL but they get SOOOO much better.

Sun and Jin are so fucking good its actually crazy. Initially Jin was gonna just get killed off for bein a bastard but (presumably) the writers were like 'Are we really gonna waste DANIEL DAE KIM like that? Are we being so for real? Have you seen him???' And they changed their minds and Sun and Jin are both so precious and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I DONT WANNA SPOIL THINGS BUT I LOVE THEM. Theyre hands scene.... I WILL CRY FOREVER.

Suns Claim to fame- Crackin Ben in the dome cuz she REASONABLY didnt believe him! Jack could never.

Jins Claim to fame- Being found in the woods occasionally by world weary friends and instantly making theyre day better.

Walt and Michael...

I think what happened here is Walt grew too quickly for the show and he just sorta got let go... which left Michael with NOT MUCH ELSE TO DO.

BUT THE WRITERS DID THIS MAN SO FUCKING DIRTY ITS INSANE. The fandom too! Walt gets kidnapped by some dudes AT GUN POINT. AT SEA!!! AND NO ONE FUCKING CARED... EXCEPT MICHAEL. But people got REAL MAD at Michael for everything he did after in desperation to get his son back. MICHAEL DID NOTHING WRONG(except for all the wrongs he did but we forgive him.)

Michaels relationship with Sun & Jin was great. First there was a thing with Sun and Jin... and then Sun with Michael... and then Jin and Michael (A wild and adorable friendship holy shit)...

Sayid has such a cursed life... if anyone has watched VLD... its worse than what they did to Shiro. People he loves keeps dying, hes forced to kill people, every time he gets hurt he looks up with his big sad brown eyes and says he deserves it. he tries so hard to be a good man... WHY DO THINGS KEEP HAPPENING TO HIM.

I’m going to watch all the British soaps this week (8/26-8/30) without having watched them in a very long time or ever. Here are my thoughts for the episodes on Monday. I’ll do the different parts for each day

Side note: I’ve watched hollyoaks before and a bit of emmerdale (Aaron & Robert’s storyline & the Jackson stuff) I haven’t kept up with either since maybe 2018 or 2019. + I’ll skip things if I find them too much or uncomfortable

Day 1 - August 26

Hollyoaks

Has the best title sequence

Where I was watching it muted when there was music so I didn’t get to watch the scene with sienna. The last scene wasn’t muted but I didn’t understand what was happening with Patrick and the other woman (who I think I know but can’t remember)

I didn’t like the Cleo story

I didn’t fully understand the stuff with kitty and that man but ngl I was kinda siding with him if kitty killed his daughter and someone named beaux went to prison for it but he seemed to want to keep beaux in prison so I think I needed more context there

My favorite story of this was the James and ste stuff. I read James is sick so I’ll probably start fast forwarding that now. But I liked the part with Leah, Lucas, and Dillion. I think the acting from whoever plays ste and James were great today! James especially did really well I think. I was a bit shocked at how good his acting was ngl

Emmerdale

It was a lot easier to follow hollyoaks right off the bat because I knew a lot of the characters. From this ep, I only knew Cain, Chas, Moira, and jai

The waiting room at the KBS building was always a wild rollercoaster when Music Bank was being filmed. With tripleS, it was chaos, the twenty-four girls taking over several waiting rooms. Today was slightly less intense, as only twelve members were present for the debut of their new subunit, Visionary Vision.

Not that cutting the team in half did much to ease the madness. Girls were scattered everywhere, napping, getting their hair and makeup done, or diving into random activities. In one corner, however, one member sat quietly, completely focused.

The well-known “Ewha Goddess” was always diligent, balancing her idol life with personal indulgences. Even now, Yooyeon had her iPad and Apple Pencil in hand, creating neat, color-coded notes. She wasn’t in school anymore, but she studied whenever she had a spare moment, always preparing in case she decided to return to university.

The television at the room's far end played several performances from idols promoting their comebacks. Yooyeon hadn’t been paying attention—until Kiss of Life appeared on the screen.

Her gaze shifted at the sound of laughter, and there you were, standing with your members as Park Minju and Moon Sangmin interviewed the group.

“So, Y/n, is there any advice for anyone who wants to try dancing to your song?”

You nodded with an easy smile, stepping forward as the others cheered you on. Yooyeon watched as you clasped your hands together, a small but endearing habit she’d noticed since she started following your group.

“So when you lean forward, you always want to have a smug expression or your tongue out,” you demonstrated, sticking your tongue out playfully. “And you want to proceed to do this confidently,” you added with a grin.

The MCs laughed, signaling the music as you danced between them, showing off the signature moves from Igloo.

Yooyeon couldn’t take her eyes off you.

She barely stayed registered for the rest of the interview. Ninety percent of her focus was on you—the way you moved and spoke. You had a natural charm, but it wasn’t just that.

You had this quiet confidence, a poised and commanding presence that pulled people in without effort. You weren’t the eldest in your group, yet you carried yourself like someone who was. 

Yooyeon admired that. The way you crossed your legs, sat up straight and managed to keep your members in check during shows left an impression.

Sometimes, she would scroll through social media, seeing clips of you feeding your members during meals, guiding them through chaotic moments, or effortlessly getting people, idols and strangers alike, to follow your lead during variety shows. She’d watch every video she found, her fascination growing each time.

The interview transitioned to the prerecorded stage for Igloo. Yooyeon relaxed in her chair, setting her iPad aside as the music began. The sensual, playful melody filled the room, but her attention stayed on you.

She couldn’t help it—everything about you was captivating. The way you leaned into each move with purpose, the playful glint in your eyes as you taunted the camera with your smug expression.

Yooyeon barely noticed her own members talking in the background. She was too focused on you, her mind racing with thoughts she couldn’t quite articulate but knew would linger long after the performance ended.

You begin the song wearing some black rimless wrap-around sunglasses, a black corset sweater with buckles attached to certain cutouts of the fabric, and a pair of very, very baggy cargo pants that bunch up in the ends as you wear some tall platform boots along with it. 

Your boots added to your lengthy stature, as you were taller than all your members. So when you started the performance and strutted in front of the dancers and members, you held this model-like confidence that made fans watching you want to bob their heads along.

Yooyeon was also aware of your fluent English because you went to an international school, which you said in an interview. 

With the rabbit hole, the visual fell through while learning about you and your group, and she got to know you fairly well without even speaking to you. The fact that you have a younger brother and sister, your favorite food and drinks are lemon iced tea and bossam, and you are 5’8, and even the fact that you learned how to dance at a dance academy.

It made her feel weird; an idol knowing several things about an idol despite not being friends with them made Yooyeon feel like a weird stalker. You stood in the center at the second chorus, dancing like you showed the MCs, but you were more serious about this. 

Yooyeon stared at you as if you were some kind of siren, your eyes covered and looking dangerous, but the motions could be read by a glimpse at your lips. As if you called out to her, you kept rapping:

Heart attack, IV when I walk the street Vitamins that D, I'm good, I'm healthy

Followed by a twerking move that had the visual hiding the bottom half of her face with the use of her hands. She felt the heat rising to her cheeks as she watched the dance, her eyes never leaving your figure.

Finally, Haneul’s trending part was coming up, and you had to take off your sunglasses, acting as if you were cleaning them. Your eyes were covered in a darker, smokey eye look as your piercing gaze could be felt through the screen. 

Once the chorus hits, you do the iconic choreography with the rest of the girls, mouthing Haneul’s lines as you then shake your head with your tongue out.

Yooyeon’s eyes never trail from the screen, and her hyperfocus is noticed by Nakyoung, who generally looks over the girls in the waiting room. “Be careful if you stare too hard. Your eyes might pop out,” she says, causing the older girl to flinch in surprise. Yooyeon looks over. Nakyoung had her mouth full of malatang, and an innocent grin formed despite her puffy cheeks.

“I wasn’t staring,” Yooyeon mumbles, and Xinyu butts in, “Oh, please, you couldn’t even fool a kid with that.” Nakyoung nods and takes another sip of her soup, “Do you like Y/n-sunbaenim?” 

“First off, stop talking so much with your mouth full. Secondly, of course, I like her. They’re our seniors, after all,” that makes the 02 liners look at each other, giving knowing looks. 

“You know she didn’t mean it in that way, unnie,” Yooyeon looked at Xinyu and just shook her head as the two giggled, deciding to focus back on her work.

“You know, for being a ‘fan,’ you seem to not know much about her,” Xinyu points out. The older girl looks at her, confused. Before she can ask what she means by that, it’s time to head on stage. Their manager does a quick headcount in the hallway, ensuring everyone is ready. As Yooyeon waits patiently in line, her attention shifts when, out of the corner of her eye, she notices you, Haneul, and Julie walking into view.

Her breath catches.

She freezes, deer-in-headlights, not expecting to actually see you in person. Sure, Yooyeon has seen you before—idols always run into each other—but this is different. She’s never seen you this close. And smiling. The sound of your laugh carries as Julie gestures animatedly, clearly cracking jokes while posing for you and Haneul.

Julie can’t seem to keep a straight face, breaking into laughter mid-pose. Your maknae lets out a sigh, still giggling. “Unnie~, we can’t stop laughing. Let me go first,” she whines, causing you to chuckle.

“Alright, alright.” You give her a gentle nudge, still smiling, your focus shifting briefly as Julie steps up.

Unintentionally, your eyes wander toward Yooyeon’s group.

Yooyeon quickly looks down, feeling her pulse quicken. ‘Don’t look, don’t look!’ she practically yells at herself, trying to act casual. But then her name is called for rolecall.

“Here!” she blurts, raising her hand on instinct.

It’s a mistake.

Her voice draws your attention.

Your gaze snaps to her, locking eyes before she has time to prepare. Yooyeon feels the heat creeping up her neck, her ears burning red as you wave and smile. It’s small and casual, but her stomach flips at the sight of it.

You think she looks cute, even though their stage outfits are supposed to exude confidence and power. Yooyeon is the only one who feels out of place in that moment, completely caught off guard.

Her group begins moving, but you suddenly dash forward, calling out to Nakyoung before they get too far.

“Hi!” you greet brightly, giving her a quick hug.

Nakyoung responds just as enthusiastically, chatting with you briefly before you return to your members.

Yooyeon stares after you, mouth slightly open in shock.

She hugged Nakyoung? She said hi like she knew her?

Yooyeon suddenly remembers Xinyu’s earlier words, and the realization hits her like a truck. Wait…

SHE KNEW HER?

The thought had Yooyeon pouting and kicking her feet like a sad child on their way to the stage.

Your eyes catch a glimpse of her face, and you find her puffy cheeks and pouty lips adorable. “Cute,” you mumbled as your members were lost in taking photos. 

“Y/n, you’re up next,” Julie announces as Haneul gently nudges you towards the staircase. “Did you ask about Haerin?” The older asks, and you nod, “Nakyoung unnie said they won’t have a film schedule on Sunday, but they’ll be at the building, so I could meet them there.”

“Unnie~, can we all go? I haven’t seen Haerin-ie in a while,” Hanuel asks, her cute face pouting innocently as you pat her head. “We’re gonna have to ask manager-nim,” Julie nods, agreeing, and whips out her phone quickly to relay the message. 

“It’s been a while since I've seen her,” you say, a heavy sigh leaving your lips. “I’m sure she misses you too,” Hanuel nods at her unnie’s words, “You know she loves you a lot, unnie.”

You smile, feeling more relieved as you think about it, “I get to see her in a few days anyways, no big deal.”

The news had you excited, but it was a struggle to keep it in. After a few more scheduled events throughout the day, the manager finally got back to Julie, giving all you guys permission to go, but only for a limited amount of time. That only gave you more excitement, having you bounce like a bunny in happiness late at night.

You thought of it as a short vacation. Given it’s extremely short, you wouldn’t spend your free time any other way.

It was now Sunday afternoon, and a select few older members of tripleS could be seen seated in a meeting room. Some staff and higher-ups were presenting updates on concepts and potential lineup plans.

With how the tripleS system worked, these meetings were routine, keeping every member in the loop. This time, it was the older girls’ turn to sit through the discussions.

Yooyeon sat near the corner, listening diligently until the meeting finally wrapped up, giving the group some free time. As the girls filtered out, Yooyeon joined Mayu, Xinyu, Nakyoung, and Sohyun, heading toward the practice rooms where the younger members were hanging out.

They walked through the building lobby when an audible gasp broke the casual chatter.

Yooyeon glanced over at Nakyoung, whose face lit up with an unmistakable smile, while Sohyun froze with her mouth slightly open. Curious, Yooyeon followed their gaze toward the main entrance, and stopped in her tracks.

There you were.

Natty, Julie, Belle, Haneul, and you were walking in, chatting and laughing. But all Yooyeon could focus on was you.

You even do anything to command attention, just walking in, yet it comes effortlessly to you. Her mind raced. Why are they here? Why is Y/n here?

Before she could understand, your eyes landed on Nakyoung, and your smile grew wide. You sprinted toward her, arms outstretched, pulling her into a hug that was as rough and yet warm.

“Oh my god, it’s been too long!” you exclaimed, laughing as Nakyoung let out an exaggerated groan.

“Well, it’s nice to see you too. Also, you just saw me like four days ago,” Nakyoung teased, patting your head while you clung to her like a koala.

“Y/n~, let Nakyoung go, please,” Natty called out with a laugh. You pouted in response but let go, your playful grin returning.

Yooyeon stood frozen.

This wasn’t the Y/n she had imagined. The confident, composed image she’d seen on stage and in videos was replaced with someone incredibly… cute. It caught her off guard. Her thoughts spiraled. Why does she seem even more attractive now?

A nudge from Xinyu snapped her out of it, and she quickly looked away, hoping no one noticed her staring.

“She’s upstairs in the practice room,” Nakyoung said warmly, glancing between you and the group. “We were just heading there. You guys can come with us.”

“Perfect timing,” you said with a grin, motioning for your group to follow them.

The ten of you squeezed into the elevator with ease, yet the space felt tighter than it was. You ended up toward the back, shoulder-to-shoulder with Yooyeon.

She was quiet, keeping her eyes fixed ahead, but you caught the subtle tension in her posture. Bowing slightly, you flashed her a polite smile. “Hi! Nice to meet you,” you said, your voice friendly yet calm and quiet.

Yooyeon’s heart stuttered in her chest. “H-hi,” she stammered, dipping her head in return. Her voice was barely audible, and she instantly hated how awkward she sounded.

It didn’t faze you, though. You leaned back slightly, still smiling, a casual ease about you that almost felt teasing. It wasn’t overbearing—it was just… natural.

Standing beside Yooyeon, Nakyoung noticed the interaction and bit back a chuckle. Her eyes flicked to Yooyeon’s face, which was already starting to flush.

“You good, unnie?” Nakyoung whispered, her tone laced with amusement.

Yooyeon nudged her with her elbow, her face turning an even deeper shade of red. “Stop,” she muttered under her breath, not daring to look at you.

The ride up felt endless yet too short for Yooyeon. Every small movement you made, brushing a stray strand of hair back, shifting your weight slightly, somehow caused her body to heat up with her brain in a frenzy. When the elevator finally chimed, she exhaled softly as if she’d been holding her breath the entire time.

The group filed into the practice room, and the noise inside died down almost instantly as the girls noticed you. Whispers filled the room until, from the far corner, an excited squeal rang out.

“Unnie!” SeoAh’s voice was unmistakable. She bolted across the room, throwing herself into your arms with a force that nearly toppled you.

“Haerin!” you laughed, hugging her tightly. “Oh my god, it’s been forever!”

She pulled back just enough to look at you, her eyes wide with a mix of excitement and disbelief. “You didn’t tell me you were coming!” she pouted her lower lip jutting.

“Surprise?” you teased, grinning as she playfully smacked your arm.

Yooyeon lingered near the doorway, watching the reunion unfold. Her brows furrowed as she processed the scene.

“Wait,” she whispered to Nakyoung. “That’s her sister?”

Nakyoung smirked knowingly. “You didn’t know? Some fan you are,” she teased, nudging Yooyeon’s side.

Yooyeon’s jaw tightened as embarrassment flooded her system. She glanced back at you, her thoughts racing. Haerin was your sister?!

After catching up with SeoAh, you turned to the rest of the room, clapping your hands together. “Alright, let’s make some TikToks! Who’s in?”

The energy in the room shifted immediately. Girls paired off into groups, the buzz of excitement contagious.

Julie teamed up with Xinyu and Nakyoung, their sharp, synchronized moves to a Performante drawing cheers. Natty and Haneul joined Sohyun and Dahyun for Girls Never Die, hyping each other up with exaggerated moves and laughter.

Meanwhile, you pulled SeoAh aside for a cuter rendition of Get Loud. The two of you added silly gestures between the choreography, giggling when one of you missed a beat. The room was filled with laughter as the other girls watched, your easy dynamic with SeoAh radiating warmth.

When you wrapped up the TikTok, SeoAh turned toward Yooyeon with a mischievous glint in her eye. “Unnie,” she called out, her grin widening. “You should do Igloo with Yooyeon. She knows it really well!”

Yooyeon froze, her eyes widening in panic. “What?”

You turned to her, tilting your head slightly, curiosity flickering in your expression. “You know Igloo?”

Yooyeon swallowed hard. “Uh… yeah, I guess…” she mumbled, her voice betraying her nerves.

“Perfect!” you said brightly, stepping toward her. “Let’s do it together.”

Her pulse quickened as you stood beside her. Your presence was undeniably charming. You were calm and effortlessly made friends. Yet, your deep tone made it hard for her to feel completely intimidated.

Sensing her hesitation, you leaned in slightly, lowering your voice so only she could hear. “Don’t worry,” you said with a soft smile. “It’s just for fun. If you mess up, I’ll mess up too, so we’re even.”

Your words were simple, but they worked. She nodded, exhaling a shaky breath. “Okay,” she said quietly.

As the music started, you moved first, setting the rhythm. Yooyeon followed, her movements hesitant but growing more confident with each step. You threw in a few exaggerated gestures, making the others laugh, and Yooyeon found herself smiling despite her nerves.

When she nailed one of the trickier transitions, you clapped for her mid-dance, your encouragement genuine. “See? You’ve got this!” you said, your grin infectious.

By the time the song ended, Yooyeon’s heart was racing—not from the choreography, but from you.

You weren’t just talented; now, you were approachable, funny, and incredibly kind. Every interaction chipped away at the wall she’d unknowingly had up, leaving her feeling completely smitten.

As the room erupted in applause, you turned to her with a wink. “Told you it’d be fun.”

Yooyeon nodded, her cheeks burning. “Yeah… it was,” she admitted softly.

But inside, all she could think was, What have I gotten myself into?

Don’t kill me, unpopular controversial opinion:

I think Taylor was drawn to Matty because he was the ‘bad boy’ and just radiates ‘idgaf’ energy. That’s why he’s always getting in trouble (ngl, similar to John Mayer but John Mayer is a true shit head).

Taylor probably thought she can fix him, and her life is so polished because of her image, success, and how her mom surrounds her too.

So Matty was probably a joy for Taylor.

I also think it was a wake up call from Joe, like I think Taylor was definitely being a little petty after her breakup with him (as she should). So I think dating someone the opposite of Joe was a breathe of fresh air even if it wasn’t gonna last cause Joe is a snob, pretentious and seems to attempt to mould her how he wanted her (kinda like how Liam Hemsworth wanted Miley as a certain way).

So I think Taylor went into it with Matty no fucks given because she was finally free, but she’s in her 30s now and she’s also super successful than ever something Kim and Kanye took from her during 1989 so I think she got cold feet but also I think she got turned off again even though she was drawn. Most women in their 30s want stability, fun but not rowdy and or having to play mother.

If Matty was a little less loose and or gave a bit more fucks, I think they’d still be together ngl. But he’s just too wild (not in a bad way) just Taylor got cold feet way. Not his fault. Just Taylor being indecisive.

Unknown; true, and to a point I don’t care or mind either but doing this made me realize the only kids we know both parents to happen to be the progeny of Tommy Oliver. I think my speculations are more fueled by annoyance only Tommy/Kim and Tommy/Kat are the ones we know both parents to. Olivia and JJ are the only two with confirmed canon parent couples. It kinda reeks of favoritism. I love speculating, but might as well toss out the most likely I can think of in the process. The writers and producers didn’t for any of the others. Apologies for the annoyance bit though. It is fun to speculate.

Kim; lol yea, she’s a good girl. She’s the one braincell in the group type of girl and her sisters are better for it. Poor Kim doesn’t want anything to do with rangerdom, but Xian’s gonna keep her sisters safe. Pink yellow green is a good combo, indeed.

Tommy; I couldn’t resist lol. There’s so many “this could have gone really really badly” points for Tommy. And I love this episode because it really does do a good job at being a Tommy and Trini episode, so perfect for a jump off point~

Bolin is a great kid who is going to do what he needs to. And I love the idea he got to be raised by Bulk and Skull and Trini. He’s definitely going to do what needs to be done, but man if he does have to do the deed he won’t miss and he’s going to feel really really badly about it. And look stunning in the knight outfit with Bulk, yes.

Su is definitely a wild card and is every bit Tommy’s daughter. David and Skull are doing their best with her, and I like the idea they’d be platonic but fairly good team as parental figures. Especially for someone like Su.

Laura; Tate has and probably will again, and done other things like that. He definitely needs a leash. Trini got competent at cooking with the class, but he found a secondary passion. And it helps studying while he’s cooking as a memory thing, which is even better. It benefits everyone. The one time he’s not focused on anything but the task at hand.

Linette is the perfect mix lol. Ah…I always forget odd doll and automaton collecting is…not a popular thing, sorry 😅 one of the reasons I connect to Trini. But I don’t think she has anything but more aesthetically pleasing dolls get the automaton treatment. Just so nobody gets too much of a heart attack lol.

Violet; much as I love the musical, I didn’t want to fall into an easy low hanging fruit mode and considered how to make this Heather different than that Heather. And I love this Heather~ we can and should mace Finster if he goes near her again, yea. Violet is absolutely justified if she does. She’s a good, sweet girl who’s so spunky and adorable~

Marge; ngl, Marge was one of my favorites to contemplate. I don’t think Skull would be able to be mad at her for long once he got confronted, and I think he and Bulk would try to make things right. Which makes all the difference~

Francis is definitely sassy and gay, and yea, it says it all his favorite band is Kim and Stan and Eugene. He’s gonna be a force when he figures it out~

Tyar is absolutely getting with the monster-who is now named lol. Malaise and Tyar are going to be confused but Malaise is amenable to the blind date set up. Francis might not have realized the correct reason Tyar is “avoiding” the monster (secret identity yellow ranger fighting Malaise and all) but he was right about the crush. Tyar is definitely a monster fucker lol.

Zack; I love him I love him I love him but he and Trini in the omega ranger era…would do this. Unfortunately. And I couldn’t think of any good tangential au’s about them. If I do I’ll add, but…Kim absolutely needs to put her foot down for the benefit of the kids and I think she’s close to it here. Force them into semi-retirement until the two kids are both out of the house.

Kiya; lol, I mean they probably won’t but I like this and may write little fics with Kyrok because hot damn he is such a cutie. He’s perfect and sweet and this one fills my heart with glee and joy. Everything we need indeed, and everything the two deserve.

Richie;

Isolde would be the absolute best of that, and like. She’d be unique in that the Ernie character and the Hangout Location is always where the plot is going to happen. Which makes her extra fun. And yep; she deserves all the bragging rights forever

Tobin; -vibrates- I am SO GLAD you mentioned kitsune. I’m trying to stay away from what animals they are if I’m not doing a specific team or coming up with my own, but. In my heart. He’s a Yellowstone mountain fox. Yellowstone is in the middle of evolution with its foxes. The foxes are getting yellow-red (it looks very amber colored in the right light) coats via drinking the sulfuric hot spring water there, and some are developing to resemble more coyote looks, with variations. Which means a few more generations down the line could lead to this being genetically permanent and Yellowstone having its own official subspecies of fox, though the mountains already do. Their behavior is also a little different from other foxes, and this variation is called the Yellowstone mountain fox, but very little is known about it so far but it's so pretty. When writing Tobin I was thinking of Yellowstone mountain foxes so kitsune checks out. Dragon also fits and I love this mental image for him but kitsune’s my personal heart song~ (specifically an amber colored one lol)

Trini Kwan canon children and oc children. Trini's fun. I find her interesting, and I love how even beyond Zack, she is the middle man. She knows how Billy speaks and how to explain it to Jason and Zack. She's a sweet girl with slightly creepy beloved dolls and hobbies. She's super enthusiastic but not in a way you'd immediately notice. I love Trini.

Minh Kwan. I like Minh, she's awesome. Her shenanigans with the morpher made me laugh, and her getting to see memories of her mom? I was crying. I like how she's like Trini while also being her own person. But they could have done more. Her entire schtick is revenge and being a teenager. Okay. Well she's nice enough but what are her hobbies? Aside from fighting and visiting her mom's grave???? she...seems fashion oriented? She knows how to drive? she likes the jucie bar? we can do better. But, I do enjoy her character. It’s kinda weird how the dad was never revealed, bur I guess they couldn’t talk about Richie because his actor also died. Richie was meant, originally before cast changes required a change in plot, to be the red herring to who the white ranger was. He was Trini’s love interest and was going to be this mysterious new kid who may or may not be the white ranger before-surprise! It’s Tommy. I personally don’t know if Trini would have gotten with Richie in the end, but I ship it lol. I’m just suggesting him as a possible, but I do have kids for him in the non canon list.

Kimberly Hart;

Xian Linh Hart, aged 16. Xian is the younger half sister of Minh and Olivia. When Tommy disappeared Trini did as well, however a few years after Tommy. She and Kim got close shortly after Minh was born, and later got married. Soon after they had a daughter of their own with the help of in vitro fertilization procedures. Trini later died in a freak accident fighting a villain, and Kim withdrew completely with her daughters. Xian’s a pink ranger to Olivia’s green and Minh’s yellow. She’s the one braincell in the sister group, and a fair balance of her sister’s personalities. Still figuring herself out, trying to do Kim proud while also struggling to figure out how to honor Trini’s memory.

Tommy Oliver;

During the incident where Zedd was twisting a neighbor girl of Trini’s into an evil princess on a magic island, Tommy went to help the girl, confident in Trini’s promise; she’d undo the spell on both of them and save them. When the spell took effect, Zedd was true to his word snd released the other teammates, and the evil duo of Green and Lavender debuted. “Prince Tommy” remembered little but the promise of Trini’s. He and the girl, Hallie, killed Drakkon and terraformed the planet into a nightmarish land of fairytale places. Treacherous mountains, terrifying forests, murderous deserts. Razing cities in their wake, making the planet in the image of Hallie’s twisted obsession. It’s not too different than it was, except that the different biomes don’t encourage cities very much. Each region now sentient to an extent. And willing to punish humanity for city building.

Trini and Tommy entered a strange adversarial relationship. Tommy’s obsession with Trini reaching a fever pitch after a few years. The promise and the hatred of fairytales he has twisting into an odd association with Trini. His saving grace, even if he can’t remember what from . They did have a few nights were no fights took place, and they have two kids, with “Prince Tommy” none the wiser that his “Huntress” often has their kids in tow. Bolin and Su are 16 and 14 respectively. Bolin knows who Tommy is to them, Su does not.

Bolin’s been raised his entire life with the resistance and the sole mission of finding the dumpster Rita’s still stuck in, or some other mystic who’d know how to undo the Venus Island spell. He learned about Tommy being his dad two years ago, after meeting David. It didn’t take a lot to put the pieces together with how much David looks like them and Bolin having never seen David’s brother without his helmet until Tommy confronted David and Trini, where he put Trini under a spell. Up till that point Trini co-parented them with Skull and Bulk, and Bolin likes Skull and Bulk as parents and mentors. An adept marksman with throwing knives. Skilled at potion making, and doesn’t know how to feel about Tommy and Hallie. Yes, it’s a spell, but…well. How many times can one take being nearly murdered by maddened tyrants. Considering joining the tyrant prince and princess’s ranks with Bulk to see if he can’t save them…if he can kill them. He’s not currently associated with a color, but he will be a Mastodon Knight, when he’s undercover. Bulk’s his captain and they’re both doing their best. Trini doesn’t approve when this happens, however when she becomes Tommy’s Power Huntress and right hand, it’s not really up to her.

Su is very much a product of her environment. She wasn’t born before nightmare fairytale world, and she can’t imagine anything else. Her logic hinges on magic, and people she knows. Bartering and being kind and clever and very very good with figuring out how to fight with limited space. She doesn’t get why her brother’s been so moody the last two years, and has been traveling with David and Billy to spread the word about Zack and Kim, who both died fighting Tommy, and try to figure out how to undo everything. She’s not sure if she wants to, this version of the world is all she knows but…it would be cool to meet Rita. A real live wicked witch? You don’t see one of those every day. She assumes Richie, who Tommy tortured and killed very early in hers and Bolin’s lives, is her dad. Is more and more motivated to get the curse on Tommy and Hallie broken in any case, just to get her mom, brother, and honorary uncle back. She misses them. Not associated with a color, nor is she going to be a knight of any sort. If she was, it’d be white.

Jason Lee Scott;

They got together in their teens after putty!Matt got them thinking about it, and after a short time apart, they got back together. Jason and Trini co-parent Minh, and have a kid of their own. Terry Scott is twelve and while deeply enthusiastic over everything, he's rather reserved. Fairly calm, and watchful. He's always pausing before talking. Definitely a mama's boy. However, he likes battle borgs with Jason, and they do watch each new season together. Terry's got no interest in being a power ranger. When Trini died, he had even less interest in it. Kid keeps Jason out of rangerdom, because how could he go back in when Minh's currently a yellow, and Terry's still grieving his mom. Terry and Minh's relationship has gotten really strained, and Jason's trying to keep the family together. Trini'd want him to try.

Billy Cranston;

Minh, in this reality, Billy is the unnamed father. Minh and a younger brother, aged 10. Hao and Minh go to live with Zack after Billy inadvertently gets their mother-his wife-killed. as of course, he tells them the truth. Even after, they don't forgive him, but Minh does somewhat reconcile. Hao, however, needs time. Nobody blames the kids for not being able to forgive, least of all Billy.

Laura (last name unknown);

Laura and Kim were both scout masters to their troop of Angelettes, and Trini got to meet Laura properly during something she’d been invited to help out with for badge earning. She’d met Laura briefly when she and Billy had tried dating, and had developed a crush. Had been relieved when Laura and Billy broke up, for a myriad of reasons. One of which was the crush on Laura, the other was that Laura and Billy’d both realized they were interested in the same sex, and broke up when they came out to each other. Trini still did ask Billy if Billy was ok with her dating an ex; that can be weird no matter the reason. Billy was supportive of the idea, more relieved both of them had a chance to be happy now.

Laura and Trini have two kids, and Billy and Zack are surrogate fathers. Billy wasn’t available or comfortable the second time (he’d just gotten married himself), and Jason was alright with offering. Tate, aged 21, and Linette, aged 15, are their kids. Laura works at the museum as a tour guide, and usually works with the school groups. She sees both her kids about twice a year at her job for the annual trips, but she’s never the guide for their school groups. They want their privacy after all, but she does say hi when she sees them. This had saved Tate a few times over the years; he’s very forgetful, and Laura can just covertly give him items like his lunch while saying hi. She’s gonna miss seeing her kids at work like this when Linette graduates. Trini’s love for doll collecting lead her to making her own dolls, and she sells custom dolls to collectors.

Tate lives as a regular space cadet type person. Literally. He’s going into astronomy as a chosen vocation. Because he’s often mostly concerned with the skies and what’s going on up there, he often forgets things. His homework, his lunch, his shoes once…the skies are just more interesting. However, Trini signed them both up for a cooking class during one of his college breaks, and he’s found making simple meals does center him when he’s spinning his wheels. Tate will make vast quantities of different types of ramen or burgers or soups if he’s studying for a test, and his entire floor of his dorm has learned that around the midterms and finals the best place to get food is Tate Kwan’s room. Is not supposed to be cooking. Everyone knows he is cooking. But you need to catch someone in the act or with pots and pans and the intention to cook, and…there isn’t even so much as a tea bag or kettle in his room whenever anyone looks. Not that anyone looks super hard; this is benefitting everyone. He’s on a scholarship and is doing his best, but best means A’s and B’s and his teachers like him. He’s pleasant, even if he is a little distant, polite, sweet tempered, and willing to explain things in simple terms to anyone who needs it. Given his sister’s aspirations, he has been helping her prepare for applying to colleges, and has been tutoring her in math when needed. Not associated with a color.

Linette, like Laura, is an Angelette. Kimberly is her Angel Leader, and she loves it. Her goal is to collect every badge in the catalogue before she turns 18. This will look good on her college applications. Linette wants to go into the computer sciences. She became fascinated when one of the tasks for a badge required programming a simple website. She went the extra mile and built a simple computer as well, to cover another two badges. She was hooked. She’s built her brother his computer, and Laura one. Either option as a career seems very fun. She’s been helping Trini make little automaton versions of her dolls. They do simple things like write little letters or play music or brush hair. They make people happy, and that makes Linette happy. She wants to be able to do this in a larger scale. A lot more organized and down to earth than her brother. He forgets everything; she forgets nothing. Not associated with a color

Violet Arias;

When Zack and Violet broke up, and then Violet and Billy, Trini had to wait for Violet to recover enough to want to date someone in that friend group again. Or at all. And then they both went to college on opposite sides of the country. They stayed in contact, but it wasn’t the same. Until they were video chatting on Valentine’s, and one thing led to another…and they were long distance dating, to both’s pleasant surprise. When they could finally meet again in person they had a trial run to see if they could be together as a couple, if this would work. It did, and now they have two daughters and run a paint your own pottery place, well, two. The first was so popular they opened the second one in a nearby town. Trini had Minh and was a single mom well before she and Violet got together, but Minh got used to Violet fairly quickly and adores her step mom. Billy offered to help them have a kid together, and they agreed.

Heather Arias-Kwan is eleven. She’s very spunky and opinionated. She likes painting and the pottery (she helped make the little kiln god that her moms use for their kiln when she was a lot younger-you can see her thumbprints in the little guy if you look closely). Trini loves how helpful Heather is, and Heather loves doing tai chi with her in the park each morning before going to school. She’s always scribbling little poems to paint onto cups or plates, and practicing drawing birds or flowers for her projects. She’s often getting into shenanigans when she sees something she wants to use for inspiration, the law does not apply when she wants to take a picture or take a leaf or flower.

Finster kidnapped her once. Nobody knows what he was intending because when they found them she was happily making clay figures in a corner and he was painting ones she’d finished. They only know he was going to do something as he said he’d changed his mind. This, rightfully, freaked out Violet. She and Trini are both a little worried that Heather might want to go back for the magic life giving clay. Not associated with a color. Kept a closer eye on than before after Finster. Hasn’t noticed this yet, she’s too busy doing other things. The attention has led to some friction between Trini and Violet, however. Violet still isn’t a huge fan of the rangers, and doesn’t like the fact this is putting their kid in danger. Trini understands and agrees to a point, but she had told Violet she used to be a ranger; Violet walked into this with eyes open.

Marge (last name unknown);

Trini, Billy, and Marge went to the same camp as kids, and became friends. This unfortunately resulted in Skull hating her. Trini never thought to ask why, until Marge had a lesbian awakening, and stopped trying to ask Billy to different dances. Trini confronted Bulk and Skull over the years long jealousy campaign, and got them to apologize to Marge, tagging along to make sure they did. Marge was having a hard time with her parents so the apology meant a lot. And the fact Trini got them to make the apology meant even more. They got together once Marge had found a somewhat stable place to live to finish school, and had worked on coming to terms with some things a little. After being mistaken for the blue ranger and being rescued by Trini, she loosened up a lot more, and started helping with Bulk and Skull’s podcast. Mostly script writing and holding the camera.

She realized she didn’t want to go to college for a career her parents had picked out for her, and got a vocation degree for plumbing, and then later a community college degree for business. She has a small fleet of plumbers, and Trini, and two adopted boys, and they’re all happy.

Tyar and Francis are international adoptions, Tyar from Indonesia and Francis from England. Tyar was adopted as a toddler, and Francis was adopted at ten. They’re seventeen and fifteen, respectively. Francis got to be ringbearer at his new moms’ wedding, which was cool, and Tyar was Trini’s “second best” man; Zack was official best man for her, to help Tyar with his duties while still letting him be important.

Tyar likes his new brother, though it’s taking some getting used to not being the only child. The adjustment has led to some friction between them, with the two having wildly different personalities. Tyar is the yellow ranger of his team, and this doesn’t help with the friction. He can’t just tell Francis, plus Francis doesn’t really like the insanity of the rangers and monsters and supernatural forces. So Francis is left with his own assumptions about Tyar and constantly disappearing, and Tyar’s just trying to keep everything balanced. He’s a huge horror movie buff, and works at the movie theater. To help the theater with extra income, Friday nights are Freaky Flic nights. They play a small selection of old classics, and a mystery horror movie. Given his tastes, only the really brave who know him buy the tickets to the mystery horror movie. He likes his horror gory and bleak. He’s very good in English class, and gym, and wants to be a screenplay writer one day. He’s already got one he’s working on. Everyone Dies At The End. A slasher comedy. The one thing he and Francis can agree on is their favorite band, Hart and the Bonez. Francis about lost his mind when he found out Kimberly Hart and the Skullovitch brothers were friends with their moms, and that’s definitely fun.

Francis is a livewire with a short fuse who doesn’t have any patience for the utter insanity in this new town. His new brother for the past year or so has been disappearing whenever monsters show up, monsters are a thing, space villains are a thing, hell is apparently a thing…that’s concerning…He’s trying to get a summer job, and is looking for something that doesn’t have anything to do with monsters or his brother. Considering working at the music shop. He knows a lot about violins, and music, and would love to work at the store and maybe tutor kids. He’s pretty sure Tyar is in love with one of the monsters to the point of embarrassment; why else would he disappear whenever the guy showed up? He’s trying to figure out a tactful way to set them up so maybe Tyar can stop flaking on other stuff in the name of his crush. As for Francis, he just wants a week without silly, please. It’s been hard acclimating to being a brother the last few years and this has made it harder.

Matthew Cook;

Trini smacked sense into him after the upteenth pity party. She also forced him to come along for a mission in space with the Solar Rangers. He wanted to be let in on the whole thing? Fine! They could do that! Welcome to space Matt, everyone you meet is going to die or kill you! Have fun!

After, he put the dagger up, and he and Trini actually talked about what happened on the moon. She also retired from being a ranger, and they focused on taking a page from Bulk and Skull; being helpful as civilians. Matt asked Trini to marry him, and Trini said no. They made a game of it for a few years before she finally did say yes, when they were both financially stable.

They have Minh, and do foster parenting. Currently fostering JJ Oliver, due to unforeseen events leading to both Tommy and Kat unable to care for their kid for the time being. It’s hard being s foster family, but it’s nice being able to see the kids go back to their parents or move on to hopefully better situations. Matt’s at peace, and Trini is too. Trini is a plane mechanic; Matt is a fireman.

Eugene Skullovitch;

He kept asking her out until she agreed to go out with him. And actually had a nice time. So she humored him again, and again, it was nice. They weren't seeing seeing each other though, and both of them had their kids around the same time. Skull had Spike, and Trini had Minh, and they liked each other fine and loved each other's kids. They had one more, together. August Kwan. He's thirteen, and a complete introverted social butterfly. He loves showing off and gushing about his interests but he hates dealing with too many people for too long. He's really into piano, like Skull. A composer for video game music sounds like a really fun profession, so maybe when he's older he'll work towards that. But he's thirteen, he's got time. He has a stuffed animal he's been attached to since he was two, is half convinced stuffed animal is sentient, and carries it around in his hoodie or backpack. He's not ready to let it go, and Trini fully understands, supports, and gets this. When he's ready, Banjo the seal plushy, will be put beside her own childhood doll Ticklesneezer. Skull's following along with the gentle parenting; he's a bit out of his depth but he appreciates and loves that their kids are being actively supported. He's working on it, and so far the kids aren't traumatized, so something must be working.

Farkas Bulkmeier;

in one au she's a surrogate mom for Bulk and Tommy, but in another, Bulk and Trini got together after Minh's dad left the picture. Bulk had experience with helping a single parent, and Trini was extremely grateful. Minh loved him, and loved when Spike came over. Bulk and Trini had one more kid together when Minh was around six. Rue Kwan. currently aged 17. Minh is going into law, and Rue is considering being a private detective. Or a rocket scientist. Both would be equally fun challenges. Rue's a quick thinker, and rather politely sassy. She's got a dry sense of humor but her comebacks are scathing and legendary. Rue's on the heavier side, and this leads to some self image issues sometimes, especially around valentine's or dances, though Bulk and Trini and Minh are quick to nip this in the bud as quickly as possible whenever it crops up. Rue knows her own mind, and her own opinions. She's been sent to the principle's office for getting into arguments with her teachers more than once. not associated with a color.

Zack Taylor;

They started dating in space, and it was nice. When Trini became red, it got more serious, and being with each other was always so safe, emotionally. They don’t spent a lot of time on earth, but they do have two kids. The two don’t see their kids much, Jethro, age 16 and Avery, age 15 are on earth and do school on earth. They see their parents on holidays when they can, but mostly live with Kim. They have very distant relationships with their parents, even if they wish their parents would retire. They partially retired until both of them were in Junior High, which makes it extra tough. It feels a little like an abandonment, even if it isn’t.

Jethro is not really open to his parents, and has a better relationship with Kim. He wants to be a DJ, and does DJ’ing stuff for school dances and parties. Annoyed by his parents, has a ton of friends, prefers his friends. He likes Kim just fine, and everyone else. He just thinks his parents are using their duties as an excuse to get out of raising their kids. Jethro tries to avoid talking about his parents and what they do. He’s got his own things to do, they have theirs.

Avery loves her parents. She misses them dearly and wants them to come home. She’s become a bit of a people pleaser, swallowing down anxiety or unhappiness so nobody worries. She worries about them, a lot, and wishes they’d just stay home with their kids, who love them. While she doesn’t get why her parents are always in space, she knows they are doing important work saving people, and thus, tries to be understanding and patient and not worry anyone. Not associated with a color.

Kiya Kyatyl;

Trini was able to head off Kiya’s ptsd breakdown in regards to Tommy Oliver by explaining as they got to earth Drakkon’s never get past being a green ranger, and their Tommy’s currently a white ranger. She has no idea if she’s telling the truth but Kiya clung to this as a lifeline and Trini let her. The two got very close during their time as teammates, and very very close during the Eltaran War. They got together shortly after and now, they have a kid.

Kyrok, another orphan from Khoodjah. They went back briefly to see if things had gotten better, they hadn’t, and there was a young boy in need of rescuing. Kyrok reminded Kiya of her brother, and a little of Trini. They rescued him at eight, he is currently 24. He hasn’t set foot on Khoodjah since, but they all live on Mirinoi.

Kyrok is a bit of an animal lover, and wants to specialize in veterinary for alien animals. His moms are fairly encouraging of the idea, and Trini has suggested he first start with earth animals as earth has some of the widest varieties of animals. Kiya is a bit apprehensive of the idea as, while she doesn’t want to put Tommy’s head on a spike, she still doesn’t fully trust the man. And he lives on earth. But, it would make Kyrok happy, and he knows how to take care of himself. He’s good at hand to hand combat, and lock picking. He can mimic voices fairly well as well as throw his voice (this was deemed as witchcraft on Khoodjah unfortunately, hence his needing to be rescued). Clever and smart and a bit introspective. He’s a bit shy, but he likes new experiences. Doesn’t like sweets, and loves thunderstorms. Not associated with a color.

Richie (last name unknown);

Trini kept falling for this mysterious guy. He was a new student, he was sweet, he always knew the right thing to say to make her whole day. And then Tommy got sick, and lost Green due to Lord Zedd. And suddenly Trini never noticed Richie where the new white ranger was. And when he came back after the fight, it was similar excuses to the ones she often used. Suddenly, it made sense why he worked at the juice bar as a second job. It was a favorite target and the favorite spot of the rangers. Plus, in the white server outfit, he could easily hide the fact he always wore white as part of his work clothes.

Trini confronted him, and he came clean; he WAS the white ranger, but it was only temporary. He was just helping out until Tommy was alright again. Trini was a bit mad he hadn’t said anything, though couldn’t really hold it against him. This was probably for safety reasons as Zedd wanted the white ranger’s power as well as the green. Richie eventually gave the white ranger powers to Tommy, and Trini gave the yellow ranger powers to Aisha. They started dating once they were no longer rangers. They have three children. Isolde, Tobin, and Kai.

Isolde is 27, and she runs a food truck. A little bit of a disaster person, but nobody can say no to her Vietnamese food truck with boba tea. There’s lines for it. She loves it. It gets her everywhere in town, she hears all the interesting gossip, and she can just go to where the people are instead of hope they come to her. Richie gave her the idea, and she’s never not going to be thankful to her dad over it. It’s just when she’s not running the food truck is when things go wonky. Everyone keeps mistaking her as the new ranger showing up in town and she really really isn’t. This is not something that’s going on. She’s not getting involved, no sir. She does, however, sell to any of the villains and rangers who want to get food after the fights. There’s a no fighting by the truck policy she holds to, and it has led to some…interesting scenarios. The spoiled rotten prince of the invading army proposed, as one example. She told him no. He suggested marrying his sister. While sweet even if he was thinking with his stomach…She had to explain what aromantic and asexual was and why she wasn’t going to just marry either of them-and yes lart if it was them attempting to invade earth-but gave them a special discount. This is bragging rights, in any case. Not associated with a color but everyone thinks she’s the Amber ranger running around town. Her parents worry, of course, bur she’s smart and resourceful. She knows how to stay out of situations. Or handle them if she’s in them.

Tobin is 25 and he is the Amber ranger running around town. He feels bad letting his sister get the eyes pointed at her, but it keeps the eyes off of him. It’s imperative he doesn’t let anyone know who he is right now, and so it’s easier if everyone thinks it’s her. He works at the radio station, and the Ranger Eyes program lets civilians call in to the radio to report sightings. He uses this to his upmost advantage. He’s helping a friend, and he’s not going to stop helping a friend. He’s pretty sure Richie has guessed but as his dad isn’t saying anything outright…he feels he’s ok. Calm, collected, charming, unpredictable in fights and doing his best to remain mysterious even though he’s the worst at keeping secrets. Has threatened the two brats attempting to take over the planet for “hitting on the nice food truck woman when she clearly isn’t interested”. That’s his sister, and he’s mad they even tried. However even if he could say anything she’d probably laugh at him, which he knows, but..still. It’s the principle of the thing. Is also trying VERY HARD not to think about how Isolde probably would have taken either two up on it if she wasn’t asexual or aromantic.

Kai is nineteen and is a complete book nerd. High Fantasy his preferred genre, and he runs a d&d group at a friend’s comic store. They’re playing a home brew campaign he’s like, eighty percent certain is based off the current exploits of the newest ranger team. Kai often has to be dragged out of his apartment to do things by siblings or parents when he’s not at the comic store, and he works for his sister at the food truck. He doesn’t have a lot of friends but he’s of the opinion of quality over quantity. Who needs a lot of bad friends when you can have one to three good close friends? Kai wants to develop his own indie video game one day; he just doesn’t know what to make it about. Yet. He’s confident he’ll come up with an idea, and soon.

In a tangential au, Minh is middle sibling, and Richie got Saba after Tommy got the dragon coin working again. Richie and Trini were both killed by Robo Rita. Trini trying to protect an injured Richie who couldn’t move from the spot due to a broken leg. Which leads to Zack and Billy protecting and looking out for and after four young adults with attitude.

In another tangential au, Richie isn’t a ranger at all, nor was he ever. He was confused when Trini confronted him, and it turns out it was Tommy all along. Trini apologies to Richie, who accepts the apology and is the reason Trini ultimately walks away from rangerdom for good. They have their four kids, are happy, and nobody dies.

Mo Tae-Gu did absolutely abhorrent things but holy shit Kim Jae-Wook looked so good doing them
