You have probably seen all the aus like danny gets adopted by batfam, Danny as damiens twin/older brother, Danny dating a member of the batfam, Danny part of the justice league, Danny as a gotham superhero and more.

But have we seen Danny Fenton as Batman.

Danny Fenton who was taken in by the original Wayne family, with Marta and Thomas Wayne. Taken in when Martha was not yet pregnant. They treated him as their own and raised him as such. When they discover that Martha is pregnant and go out to celebrate. When they take a short cut and danny is just a few seconds too late to save them.

The boy who lost his parents when he failed to stop Dan and for all he knows his sister is dead gone. Who was lost in the infinite realms for so long. Who got stuck in a foul city where the weak are crushed so only the strong prevail.

Danny, Who stumbled into the warm arms of the Wayne family. Who slowly opened up to them. Who never used his powers so he could have a shred of normalcy with them. Who realized they loved and cared for him as thier own. Danny who accepted he loved them in turn. Danny,the boy who lost another set of parents on one fateful eve.

Bruce who takes in these lost stray children because he wants to look after them. But he doesn't know how to because he never had a normal childhood.

Bruce who puts up a front to protect himself as well as his family. Who lies to face of powerful beings to protect his family. Bruce who trains long and hard to protect his family from said beings, so much so that he ends up locking away his emotions, so that his children don't have to loose another parent -not knowing that they already had so long ago

Bruce who's so proud of his children, but just doesn't know how to show it. Who is so scared, so terrified they might fight the same battles as him...or something even worse.

BRUCE WHO WANTS to kill the joker. Who wants to hurt him like he hurt his CHILD and leave him there to die, but he knows better than that... he knows what a cruel joke it would be, the irony. He knows that it will just more horrible things to his children knowing they'll never be able to stop him. That's why he brought him back.

Bruce who as much as he tries is always two steps behind.

And now when his new dimension is at stake because of the very beings he left behind, he must choose between the life that he built for himself here or the one that he left behind.

A carefully weighted scale. With the future on the horizon, and choices to be made.

Will the scale stay true or will the choices made unbalance it all.

but rly they're just so natural and frankly insincere in the most sincere way around each other that it makes their unscripted banter so digestible to me personally... T__T and ik it's already been discussed but i do think it's interesting how landoscar are both equally careful with pronouns and using neutral language, like i'm sure to some degree it's just pr training but it's still an easy thing to slip up on if it's not ingrained in your daily usage and they're both decently consistent. not to give them undue credit or anything for something fairly basic i just think it's sweet.... who would win, the 23 y/o gen z who calls his gf his partner and binge-watched killing eve and sex education and knows too much about bottoming and has an in-joke with lando about his favorite song being old town road or the guy who cosplays bisexual twink when sloppy drunk and said his type was "open" and that "they gotta look after me" in csd? sorry.

also lando's defensive "doesn't mean they didn't have a great time" and oscar kind of high-pitched going "yeah i never said that!!!" NFNNGHGHGHHfghghh. and how do u know that huh :3c

Bedman (Romeo)

omg havent had an excuse to talk abt bedman in a hot minute thank u anon...

favorite thing about them:

i love the tragedy of his story arc... that feels like a weird thing to say but its the first thing that came to mind! just. look. the road to hell paved with good intentions bit taken to the extreme really works here!!! the idea that he remembered the name of every person he ever killed because he was under the impression he could bring them all back, only to have the rug pulled from under him? hurts me! in the best way!!!

other than that i do enjoy his design, both romeo himself and the bed :] i wanna give my bedman cosplay another try sometime for sure, it didnt work out for various reasons but i have most of the components and would enjoy cosplaying him fr in the future

least favorite thing about them:

i think i dont really dislike anything about the way bedman is written in the source material strongly enough to point it out here? i think my main gripe is the way the fandom treats him to either extreme, like theres "bedman did nothing wrong ever" people and "bedman is horrific" people and i wish both camps would chill out and recognize hes like. a complex character? but i do think most people do this already which i can appreciate

ok but i will, im not as into them as i was like a year ago but i still do really enjoy their dynamic. sin being such a beacon of hope and being so willing to see people as good contrasted with a post-xrd living bedman (bc all my sinbed stuff exists within au but im having fun out here so sue me) seeing himself as inherently evil due to his actions despite his intentions and believing no one would ever care for him? it hits for me

unpopular opinion:

not entirely certain i have one? i think the "bedman while flawed is not actually a terrible person and was doing his best given his extremely fucked up circumstances" is a pretty cool take by this point for most people

i think the only thing i have is that my interpretation of bedman has always been as like a young adult rather than a kid but like i dont really have a concrete opinion on that and i totally understand people who do see him as a kid like its entirely understandable to do so

my day just got made so much better because a little package arrived... remember when you asked about a plushie i think oksana would have?? and i showed this strawberry that turns into a bunny when you open it?? well... i got her now!!

she's so cute and soft, i could cry :,) i called her rosie :3 (because 'rosa' means pink in german and i think rosie is a cute name in general)

and i also bought these pins for reaaally cheap

it's a very subtle nod at killing eve :3 the hungry caterpillar representing vil as described by konstantin and the apple representing eve for obvious reasons

I've just watched 'The Terror of Hallow's Eve (2017)' and what can i say, it's a very good halloween movie! 'Based on true events' oh boy. This movie was better than 'the bye bye man' and 'always watching'. It has some of the scariest prosthetic make-up in it i've ever seen put on doug...

The story goes about teenager 15 yo timmy who loves monsters and creates them by making art,sculpts and doing special make-up effects. He seems a bit strange to some people. One day he goes to the attic of his house afther hearing a bumb. Timmy goes up the attic and finds some sort of ancient book about the history of halloween, with that book he awakens the trickster. All hell is about to set loose. All those who have bullied timmy will now pay the price! Killing them by their worst fears. To stop the trickster all pumkins that are lighten up need to be blown out. Not going to spoil the whole movie btw if you want to see it yourself. Here's a little guide to the movie:

Introducing the trickster (doug jones). He appears to be a small jester wearing red with black stripes looking pj's. Wears a hat with on each side a gaint bell. The trickster looks innocent with his big blue eyes of his. The voice of his is high pitched, dougs voice, with a bit of an british accent...? Strange lol. He talks in riddles and rhymes.

Dougs other character is the scarecrow who wanders in one of the bullies their fears ( timmy's house is turned into a monster house by the trickster, each room is a fear of them.) The scarecrow looks like part tree part cryptid wearring like these overalls that blend with his body and timberland boots.

Ofcourse timmy made a big mistake and begs the jester to undo all of this. But the trickster does not agree and shows his true form... Now the voice changes into demonic sounding doug jones lol.

The movie has a major plot twist. It's on youtube if you want to watch it.

The directors name is todd tucker and appearantly the movie came out in august of 2017. Months before halloween. There also has been released a few cosplay items and merch for sale such as masks and so.

I don't know why i haven't watch this sooner? Because i really like this movie and character who looks so damn innocent, but isn't...

I think this monster/ cryptid is prob one of doug jones his lesser known ones but he is truly scary and is sure in my top fave characters of his. The trickster looks like he could have been a long lost cousin of baron afanas hahaha.

having the girl who snitched on him to sofia cosplay as his own mother at the top of a penthouse (young oz was like MAAAA ima get u a penthouse) it was so sick 🤢 he’s a real villain lol i love this show sm but am not getting over vic’s “death” for at least a month

eve had every right to snitch on oz, though. he knew carmine was killing those girls, her girls, and he let him. she has done more for oz than she should've. she should have left oz to himself with how badly he treated her. but she didn't. she was looking out for herself and her girls for once and i don't blame her.

and this show has done a wonderful job of making oz a true villain. it was there in the first episode in how he shot alberto in cold blood and for a bit there in the middle, they led you astray. he makes funny jokes, he drinks slushies, he hugs and comforts vic, he listens to dolly parton. oz has been evil from the start. this final epsiode just reminded us of the full extent of how awful he is.

oz's twisted idolizing of his mother and his projection of that onto eve is all the more disgusting when you take into account the way he treats his mother. against all her pleas, he refused to kill her and keeping her alive and living in misery. he sucks.

anyway poor eve. poor sofia too. she had finally gotten out she was free and oz sent her right back. i think i will never be over vic's death.

NieR Automata:

Game:

NieR Automata is a 2017 action, single player, role-playing game from the Drakengard series. It is developed by Platinium Games and published by Square Enix. The game was originally released for the Playstation 4 and Windows via Steam, the following year an Xbox One port was also published. A Nintendo Switch port was also released in 2022.

The Artist for this game is Akihiko Yoshida A Journey through Akihiko Yoshida's Art Style (youtube.com) , known for his work in the Final Fantasy series, and the lead for character design, Uuya Nagai and Toshiyuki Itahana.

The story explores the themes of finding value in life and looking at the reason people kill. It fits into the theme of dreams and destruction or gods, as humans in the game are represented as 'gods' which the Androids are fighting for and it covers the destruction of those gods (humanity). It takes place in a post apocalyptic setting of 11945AD where there is a war between the human-made androids and an invading army of machines created by plant-like Aliens.

The plot revolves around two main characters, 2B and 9S. The two are sent to clear machine threats and discover, on their mission, that the machines are replicating human societies and concepts. There is a God type theme here, in that they have to battle Machines that have named themselves Adam and Eve and, in doing so,2B and 9s learn that the Aliens have been dead for a long time and were killed by the machines they had created after the Machines' intelligence outgrew their own and that Humanity has also perished. Humanity's only hope is a Moon-based server, which holds their genetic remains. 2B syncs with YoRHa, called A2. YoRHa plays a big part in providing the myth of the teams survival to maintain a morale and give androids a god to fight for. 'Become as gods' is a narrative theme in both the game and anime, referring to the humans and the aliens who were the creators of the androids and machines and their progression to becoming more like their creators as they gain emotions.

Anime:

A-1 Pictures animated this. It was directed by Yoko Taro and Ryouji Masuyama. The character designer and animation director was Jun Nagai, and the art director was Hirofumi Sakagami. The artists were Akihiko Yoshida and Kazuma Koda.

In the anime the story is that Earth is invaded by aliens and their Machine Lifeforms and nearly drive humanity to extinction. The humans take refuge on the moon, where they build androids to enable them to retake Earth. I found a really good poster for the anime:

YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B): I have included images of this character from the game and the anime.

2B is one of the main protagonists, and a soldier for YoRHa, and android task force fighting against alien made machine lifeforms. She wears a blindfold, which i believe may be to indicate how she was brainwashed to not show emotions and follow all orders unquestioningly. The black colours of her design suggest that she is limited to a 'black and white' view of the situation since she firmly believes in what YoRHa command are telling her. When crating 2B, Akihiko was asked to design a character which would be fun to cosplay. 2B is equipped with two weapon slots and an array of weapons to find within the game.

9S:

9S is another one of the main protagonists in Nier, he is the male equivalent of 2B however, he focuses less on melee combat and more on hacking the enemy. 9S is a scouting unit compared to 2B, who is a unit specially designed for combat. This comparison is shown in the game as when you play as 2B, you have two weapons and do not have the ability to hack enemies, however when you play as 9S you only have 1 weapon but can hack enemies to explode, control, pilot, or alternatively; damage them if they have too much health to be destroyed in one hack.

2B's main swords Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty:

These are the two weapons that 2B uses in the starting tutorial and cutscenes, they are also the weapons that are directly tied to her and are used on most of her figures and fan/official artworks.

9S's swords Cruel Oath and Cruel Blood Oath:

These are 9S's main weapons which he is also shown with in most cutscenes/artwork, although it is mainly the Cruel Oath that he is shown with since he only wields one weapon at a time.

Weapon stories:

All weapons in the game have stories in their descriptions which tie either to the characters or to some other background. The main weapons used by 2B and 9S have weapon stories that fit together as if telling the same story from different view points, although 9S's weapon stories show more detail as he shows more emotion in the game and 2B shows much less emotion as all androids are told not to show emotions and she feels she must follow the rules. 9S doesn't care about showing his emotions though.
