Help me draw Cecil

I'm doing a painting of Cecil and Kevin from in The Sandstorm Part A and Part B. The issue is that I have no idea what Cecil should be wearing. A lot of fan art has him in a dress shirt, vest, and tie. All I know is that he is going to be wearing a tie, but I don't want to draw him in a dress shirt because the canon outfit descriptions we get of him are so wild.

So, I'm doing a poll. You guys get to help me dress Cecil! He is only visible from the chest up, so I can't give him crocs, unfortunately.

Depending on the results, multiple of these may be combined if they are close enough and I can figure out how.

also for those who are like Whomst/that's the same picture you're CORRECT. The Engineer is literally my bootleg version of the Conductor for the DnD games we play with toon characters it is that nerdy and the mere fact he's reached the same tier as his original is amazing so the fact that we're winning even for a moment is hysterical to me

Throwback to the time someone deadnamed me and I was about to tell him to kill himself but I remembered that I'm trying to be the better person so what I actually said was "Kill. Your...double. Kill your double." and then I just walked away

so kid kevin (i’m still working out a fun name to distinguish the two) is a younger double of old kevin? at least from what i understand

and he wants to go to the desert otherworld to, you know, kill his double.

so because there is a kid kevin double in night vale and everyone in night vale has a desert bluffs (too) counterpart (and vice versa), could that possibly be implying that there is a kid cecil in desert bluffs too with old kevin and lauren???

but what confuses me about this is do they have the same motives (to kill their older doubles)? bc kid kevin thinks there should only be one kevin and im not entirely sure if this is entirely his (or his older doubles) thought process or if he is corrupted by the joyous congregation in some way shape or form.

but that leads me to my next question: if kid cecil exists and is living in desert bluffs too, does he have the same morals as old cecil? or has living in desert bluffs too corrupted him under the joyous congregation, leading him to want to kill his double as well?

if this is true, i’m wondering if it will be a sandstorm situation and there will be similar episodes to he is holding a knife (240) and he is still holding a knife (241) but from old kevin/desert bluffs too perspective

anyway i have no one to yap about this with so im hoping this reaches the right audience 😋

A brief break from my Carlos slandering angst warpath for Kareem 🧡

I adore Kareem and the doubles drama of the recent arc has been one of the many things bringing me a great amount of delight.

I think I drew this around episode 217 but looking at it reminds me of the sheer delight I felt when he narrated episode 203. Love me some guest voices. In other news, I can tell the Nightvale brainrot has gotten bad, as my default is now to say “michtigan” lol

So I’m re-listening and catching up on Night Vale and something ongoing that keeps confusing me for its aggressively given significance is the thing about Dana killing her double. Like, in that initial episode of the sandstorm where everyone was doubled, we’re given to believe that basically everyone besides Cecil kills their double because he just meets Kevin instead.

But then we have an episode focusing on another Dana who deliberately comes from another universe to kill her for killing her double. No one else gets a personal cosmic reckoning for something that everyone in town did. So we get a dark and kinda ridiculous reason for why Night Vale had no Mayor anymore.

Then this get brought up again with the malevolent scientist from The University Of What It Is, and the sherif pointing out murder is a felony, and this issue of killing your double only continually being fixated on by Dana herself.

So why does no one else seem to remember or at least bring up that every citizen in the town killed their double? Or is the double that killed themself? Why was this only important for Dana?
