to put it into perspective: a million seconds is 11.5 DAYS. a billion seconds is 31.7 YEARS. millionaires are not the true villains. billionaires are. yes, even if they worked hard for it (which, btw, doesn't happen. you cannot be a billionaire without exploitation). exploitation is of course a lot worse, but even in the hypothetical scenario that they worked for their money, if they know they live in a world where people are starving and still refuse to give their money away when it's more than they can spend in a thousand lifetimes or even comprehend, they're plain evil.

if they keep an unspendable amount of money to themselves while knowing that people can and do starve due to poverty, they are a villain.

no one is "vilifying" the rich but themselves.
