My son did so well in his Kidstrong class today, I obviously HAD to get him a plant. I love that when I ask him he actually gets excited. He picked a couple of different ones at first but settled on this gorgeous Sansevieria Moonlight 🤩 I saw this gorgeous Alocasia Polly I believe it is. She has new leaves sprouting and just looked too good to leave.

I'll be moving his ogre ear and moonlight into his room. After all it is his collection!

The summer air was heavy with condensation, sweat gliding off everyone’s skin the second they walked outside. August baked the world, but still Gar was grilling.

The grief shared and the moment passed, they all stood up to give food to the empty fourth plate that represented the place their loved ones had in their heart. Then they began to take for themselves and moved on to lighter topics.

As J’onn talked about his work and M’gann commented on the latest recipes she was trying, Gar relaxed in the summer heat as the glow of family settled around him.

i'm late but to respond to your poll post: my immediate thought is that Jay would come up with being an active hero again. i COULD see Barry or Bart or Iris or some combo of them maybe bringing it up, but honestly i feel like no one else would jump on the concept of Jay actively putting his life on the line after losing both Wally and Joan within three years. i think they'd support him, but maybe be less than utterly thrilled to varying degrees

and i totally agree with u! this is why i came up with the poll in the first place honestly cause there really could easily be a scenario where any of them could actually come up with the suggestion (doesn’t necessarily mean that i think they’d all jump at the suggestion, like u said, especially with all the associated losses taken into account)

as @kidstrong had also mentioned, joan was the one who initially suggested that Jay retires and the thing about speedsters is they’re never rlly out of the game so Jay himself being the biggest supporter of the concept also makes sense

Bart also strikes me as the kind of guy who would be a big supporter of it, but then again Jay is also somewhat (pretty much) a father figure to him, which i think could also affect how he might feel about it depending on the type of mood he’s in

i’m trying to explore all this in a fic i’m drafting up, i’ve got a couple of chapters drafted up but i’m still not quite at that stage plot wise, so it’s still up to changes, right now tho with all ur feedback and many days of consideration i think i narrowed it down a bit to fit the story im going with
