I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with the show “Friends” but the character Phoebe, her mom wouldn’t show her the end of sad movies or tv shows when she was growing up. Such as Old Yeller for example.

When my kids want to watch Dead Poets Society I’m not showing them the ending. Neil was in the play and his father accepted it. The end.
