FIRST OF ALL THE GIF WAS THE FIRST THING THAT CAME TO MIND XD.

I also had an rough idea for what the fortune is and how it is worded. It was something like

"Look westward towards a new dawn, and you will bask in the warm morning light of a twin son. There you will find what you are looking for."

But she heard 'Twin sun." so she was sure she had to find a place where there were two suns! Or a spot where it LOOKS like the sun is split in two. Just SOMEWHERE that involves two suns.

It wont click until the right moment that Temulun said 'son' not 'sun.' But its an honest mistake.

So are we talking about stories where she embarrass Magnai or stores where Magnai embarrasses her? She has a few for each, though they skew more towards her being a thorn in her brother's side.

I think Khulan is a fun because she takes after Magnai more than she'd like to admit. (She's searching for her Azim for example, and even left home over a fortune about romance.)

She won't shy away from telling stories about their childhoods!

Telling girls about how puny he was as a kid (even if its slightly exaggerated) and how during his first hunt he ran from his prey! Or how they were play fighting when she was younger and he swears up and down he 'threw the match' to make her happy but he pouted and cried about losing for a week so how could he have?

Or them headbutting each other like goats and him getting his horns tangled in her hair! She had to cut her hair just to get them out! Or the time she headbutted him so hard they both suffered a concussion, but it left a HUGE bruise on his forehead.

When she first met her Yol, he took her flying and she wound up chasing him, and she faked him out by diving for a nearby body of water and ye and his Yol wound up soaked and stranded until his Yols wings could dry off.

ALSO YES HER YOL HAS A NAME. Funny enough its also what I named her Chocobo. Пек (Pyek) or Peck.

i haven’t posted about ni no kuni in so long but i had a thought while replaying rusty’s nightmare earlier and why the nightmares are the size that they are

rusty’s nightmare is small because as well as being the first boss lmao i think it could be because of his love for his family being much of his motivation to keep going and to not let the darkness takeover him so much

swaine’s nightmare is a large one because of the fact that he has very little to motivate him, which not only makes sense for him being ‘void of restraint’, but also makes sense for why it has such broad shoulders, because he feels like he’s carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, such as his late father’s expectations for him

denny’s nightmare idk much about since it’s probably the least interesting nightmare to me but i think it’s small because of the support system he has around him, such as the dog (whose name i can’t remember rn lmao) and myrtle as his friend

khulan’s nightmare is slim because of the lack of love she has felt throughout her life?? i guess?? yeah i got nothing lmao

meanwhile philip’s nightmare is the biggest of the lot because of the weight of responsibility he feels since he believes he got oliver’s mom killed, and it’s been a weight in his mind for a while, also because his ambition (that had previously been his passion) was ultimately the thing that he believes was responsible for the death of alicia…if that makes any sense

Behold! The Lord of Earth in my story. Khulan Tai-Sin (大仙 忽蘭). The Dragon Omen. Head of the Dragon Zoanthropes. Grandmaster of the Omen Order of Sword Saints. Essentially Kyira and Benji's boss.

This is just a sketch for now, get ready for when the finished version soon!
