Take a bow, everyone! Our fourth and final episode on the Chaos Gods is up early for our supporters on Patreon! We hope you had just as much fun as we did! This definitely will not be the last time we touch upon the Ruinous Powers, but now it's time to turn our attention to something even more horrific than even the deepest pit of the Warp: HUMANS!

𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐊𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐄 - 𝐊𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐄-𝐊𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐒
A daemon who has defected from Khorne to Khade are called Khorne-Khadites, Khar-Khadites, or Khor-Khadites.
Though one might suspect Khade would not be welcoming to Khorne's children just as he isn't to Khorne himself, this is actually incorrect. The Unmaker sees and respects their positions as the most physically and martially impressive of the daemons and while he has designs to eventually reverse this, he understands that the loyalty and strength of a Khornate daemon is valuable. This, paired with the changes of being under Khade's banner, results in a cooler headed, shrewd fighter who does not lack for strength.
Of course, Khade will value and prioritize his own daemons should he have them, but former Khornates can definitely rise high in Khadite society. The Bloodthirster Kha'xanzyr was the very first to defect from Khorne into Khade's embrace.
Former Daemons of Khorne retain much of their resemblance to their Khornate cousins, though their hue does change to more saturated bright reds. Most notably, all Khorne-Khadites have a tail that ends in a tuft. They may develop traits such as spots, feathering around their shoulders or wings, or even whiskers.

Land of the Plaguelord / Prev
“𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑, 𝐈 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃.”
Tumblr media
Khorne had growled it to Nurgle many times since their return from the covenantal meeting. He was undoubtedly stronger, ready to return to his realm and join this war against the Upstart Powers for true, but there one small thing that needed to be remedied first. And the Plaguelord, Nurgleth, was taking his sweet time with that remedy. It was always “Not yet Kharneth”, “Patience Brother”, and “These things take time”.
The Blood God thought him a liar, but the God of War knew nothing about brewing or much about magic so he could not make and sure assumption. And he wasn’t a fool. Nurgleth was perhaps the most sagacious of the four, coupled with a relative amiability. It would not due to get the bad side of the person treating your....illness.
Tumblr media
Kharneth was sat in one of the Manse’s rotten chairs, a more ornate one, perhaps longing for his brazen throne. Several times, he had wanted to simply disappear. To hell with the cure; the longer he stayed away from his kingdom, the more tenuous his claim upon it’s territory was and the lower he sank in the eyes of his children. The Blood Gods be-ringed claws scored the twisted wood-and-moss of the chair. The thought was enough to make him rise up and storm out, but just before he did, the familiar, earth shaking steps of the Leprous God of Decay rang out through the Common Chamber of the Manse-Fortress. Khorne turned his great head, beholding the grinning god and the frothy, red substance clutched in hand.
“𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱, 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗱-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱.” The Plaguelord said wetly, clomping over to the smaller god. Kharneth rumbled in consideration as it was set before him. Like anything his brother made, it was rancid in smell, sight, and the Blood God was willing to bet taste, too.
“𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐈 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐈𝐙𝐄 𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒.”
“𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻. 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆, 𝗳𝗮𝘁-𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.”
Tumblr media
Kharneth grunted. If there was a good trait about Nurgle, it was his straightforwardness, however sugar-coated it often was. The Blood God eyed the brew, the thick liquid frothing over the edge of the rusted tankard the Plaguelord had delivered it in. It bubbled and if one looked hard enough, creatures could be seen floating in it’s depth. A single wrinkle on his ravaged snout was the only evidence of the Blood God’s dismay. In the next instant, he was downing it, tossing the cute to the back of his throat much to the visible delight of Nurgle.
“𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱! 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗻𝗼...𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵. 𝗜𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.”

Something I sometimes hear people grumbling about how huge the Daemon Princes in WH3 are. Apparently, they’re only supposed to be what...twice as tall as their human forms? Making Azazel the more “loreful” Sized Daemon prince, as opposed to the Greater Daemon sized ones we get in WH3. I’ll say this: While I have no issue with with the Big Ones in WH3, I do like the idea of them being “middle sized (leaning mortal sized)” and very distinctly not the same as the larger Greater Daemons.
Azazel is probably about 10-ish feet, making him hilariously teeny compared to say, Yuri, but massive compared to Valkia.

Note
do you have a preferred form of your four forms?
They are a tool of my power, each potent in their right. I don't have one in particular but that of the Dark Prince's favour isn't as burdensome.

My boyfriend is very into Warhammer and I started listening to some lore videos. I have concluded that The Blood God Khorne would love MLP:FIM and be a TwiPie shipper. I believe a shipping war with Slaanesh is what caused their massive rift and started multiple interdemensional conflicts.
Anyways! MLP and Warhammer are my new favorite pair :P
