My name is Khalil. I am 27 years old. I studied English Literature and learned many things. I have many dreams, aspirations and goals.
I know how to love, I know how to enjoy life. I know how to work hard and accomplish things.
If I am to be martyred, I don't want to be a mere number. Speak my name, tell my story, and pray for me.
I am not a number. I am a whole planet.

juniper!
i had like 3 highlighters on hand go away XD anyway this is my girl juniper, shes severely underrated and therefore my new favorite character in existence <3 this was my only reference lol
juniper berries *insert theyre the same picture meme*
right so, shortly after moving to camp (early 2004) hilal is still overwhelmed by it all and seeks comfort by taking long walks around camp. the beauty and stillness of nature grounds her and she needs all she can get in that department. its been a rough few months.
on one of her early morning walks shes deep in thought and doesnt notice a small depression in her usual path. she slips and falls on a jagged rock. no serious harm done but she does hurt her wrist quite badly.
juniper, a nymph who lives around these parts, happens to see the whole ordeal and is quick to offer assistance. hilal is very surprised to see anyone here at this time, much less... a green skinned lady about her age? she watches in silence as she uses leaves and sticks to make a splint of sorts.
after she recovers from her initial shock, she stammers her thanks at the makeshift cast and makes her way back to camp. the pain starts to kick in almost immediately and shes sent to the infirmary at once
she has a hairline fractured wrist which in and of itself isnt serious, but her CTS complicates things a little; a couple months prior hilal was involved in a serious car accident. the closed wound from her surgery had partially opened from her fall.
L: trenchcoat, black trousers and turtleneck and boots, mulberry hijab (not shown). R: post CT surgery brace, also black lol, left hand.
a couple days later when shes in a better headspace, she recounts to chiron what, rather who, shed seen on her walk. he informs her that she must have met a dryad, or wood nymph, and that they inhabit certain trees. the nymph living closest to camp was juniper. hilal confirms that the kind stranger had given her a little blue thing. a juniper berry she learns, which she keeps on her desk next to a pinecone, some acorns, and a few rocks shed collected.
*le timeskip*
some time later hilal gets back to work (as long as she takes breaks and doesnt put pressure on her healing wrist) and decides to go pay juniper a visit. she bakes a few things she thinks she might like and goes searching for a tree with the pretty blue things.
juniper is quite surprised as she seldom gets any guests, except perhaps for the satyr that visits her when he can. this strange mortal has even brought food with her! has she mistaken her for someone above her in rank? a goddess maybe? this was all very new to her. but the mortal was kind, too kind, and very understanding. she insisted that they were for her, a gift. and who was she to deny?
hilal made scones lol because its the only english thing she could think of, and makes a really great treat with some butter and jam. and a glass of cold milk? heaven. as well as other picnic-y stuff
the two have a small feast and part ways. she eventually indirectly helps grover and juniper get together and is honestly their biggest fan lol. she attends their wedding and visits them in new athens.
happy ending :)

Help Jamal Shamia family
Jamal Shamia, Iam a criminal lawyer, lam suffering of many diseases hypertension and diabetic mellitus and Muscle spasms and always got shocked and coma .
Unfortunately, I was injured in the war and suffered a very serious injury, which was a blood clot in the hip joint area, which caused him many infections and the infection spread in the area. is currently in Gaza, and my home was destroyed at the beginning of the war. We have lost security and peace. We have witnessed how a single rocket can destroy your entire life, both your past and your future. Our dreams have been shattered. Now the future is unknown and dark. There is no home, no basic life essentials, no job. We are now seeking to leave this country for a life abroad and to obtain security. We estimate our loss to be at least $50,000 to rebuild a home and start our lives anew.
My wife, Mufida, is 62 years old. She traveled before the war to have surgery on her eye alone, and now she is stuck on the Egyptian side. She has no breadwinner and needs many medications and medical supplies.
After that, she suffered a broken hand due to the lack of necessary care for her. I want to collect money to go to her and support her.
Rasha Jamal Shamia and her husband, Khalil Abu Samaan, have two children, Mira and Omar. They have been forced to flee their home in Gaza City and are now living in a tent in Rafah, far from everything they once knew. Their home, their children’s education, and their future—everything is gone. Their days are filled with fear, and their nights bring no rest. The constant sound of bombs haunts them, and they have no way to provide their children with the life they deserve
Ahmad Jamal Shamia resides in Gaza and is a third-year student in dental school. He lost his education due to the devastating war in Gaza. He was studying at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and his home was destroyed in the war. He is currently suffering from moving from one temporary shelter to another. Ahmad was a diligent, ambitious, and creative student who ranked first in his class. He didn't limit himself to what he learned in university. He attended courses and workshops online with Egyptian doctors to learn more and excel in his field. He always sought excellence and worked hard for it, and he loved helping all students. He now needs money to continue his education, which will cost him a lot of money since he will complete his studies in Egypt.

My heart breaks for my family. How many times must their hands burn just to reach a loaf of bread? And behind each loaf lies the harsh reality: flour infested with worms and insects, expired and damp from poor storage and transport. Yet they have no other choice they’ve already been forced to eat animal feed and wild grass.
Do you know the cost of this single sack of flour? Or how many children risk their lives gathering firewood from the rubble of destroyed homes under constant threat of bombing? Aboudi, for example, should be living his childhood in peace. Instead, he’s the one tasked with collecting wood for cooking.
Can you imagine how many children, how many people, wait eagerly for that single piece of bread, only to share it among so many? How much longer will this suffering and humiliation continue this war of starvation? Do you know how many children have died hungry in this genocide?
Silent solidarity will not save the children of Palestine. We must act and make a difference. Thanks to your support, we have raised enough to secure the escape of three of my family members from Gaza.
Please, continue supporting my family so we can secure the fourth as soon as possible. The border could open at any moment, and we need the funds ready to save their lives before we lose this chance.

My name is Ruwa Romman, and I’m honored to be the first Palestinian elected to public office in the great state of Georgia and the first Palestinian to ever speak at the Democratic National Convention. My story begins in a small village near Jerusalem, called Suba, where my dad’s family is from. My mom’s roots trace back to Al Khalil, or Hebron. My parents, born in Jordan, brought us to Georgia when I was eight, where I now live with my wonderful husband and our sweet pets.
Growing up, my grandfather and I shared a special bond. He was my partner in mischief—whether it was sneaking me sweets from the bodega or slipping a $20 into my pocket with that familiar wink and smile. He was my rock, but he passed away a few years ago, never seeing Suba or any part of Palestine again. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss him.
This past year has been especially hard. As we’ve been moral witnesses to the massacres in Gaza, I’ve thought of him, wondering if this was the pain he knew too well. When we watched Palestinians displaced from one end of the Gaza Strip to the other I wanted to ask him how he found the strength to walk all those miles decades ago and leave everything behind.
But in this pain, I’ve also witnessed something profound—a beautiful, multifaith, multiracial, and multigenerational coalition rising from despair within our Democratic Party. For 320 days, we’ve stood together, demanding to enforce our laws on friend and foe alike to reach a ceasefire, end the killing of Palestinians, free all the Israeli and Palestinian hostages, and to begin the difficult work of building a path to collective peace and safety. That’s why we are here—members of this Democratic Party committed to equal rights and dignity for all. What we do here echoes around the world.
They’ll say this is how it’s always been, that nothing can change. But remember Fannie Lou Hamer—shunned for her courage, yet she paved the way for an integrated Democratic Party. Her legacy lives on, and it’s her example we follow.
But we can’t do it alone. This historic moment is full of promise, but only if we stand together. Our party’s greatest strength has always been our ability to unite. Some see that as a weakness, but it’s time we flex that strength.
Let’s commit to each other, to electing Vice President Harris and defeating Donald Trump who uses my identity as a Palestinian as a slur. Let’s fight for the policies long overdue—from restoring access to abortions to ensuring a living wage, to demanding an end to reckless war and a ceasefire in Gaza. To those who doubt us, to the cynics and the naysayers, I say, yes we can—yes we can be a Democratic Party that prioritizes funding our schools and hospitals, not for endless wars. That fights for an America that belongs to all of us—Black, brown, and white, Jews and Palestinians, all of us, like my grandfather taught me, together.
I want to be clear,” Romman said. “We’ve been in negotiations for days. This did not just come up…We’ve been talking about this for at least a week. In addition, the campaign told us that not getting a ‘no’ [initially upon first hearing the request] was a really good sign. For them to give us a ‘no’ the same day that Geoff Duncan [a Republican from Georgia] was on the stage—especially when it was my name—was just absolutely a slap in the face.”

The Uncommitted Movement and Uncommitted Delegates have been petitioning to have just one Palestinian-American speak at the DNC for months; among a sea of speakers, including a random border patrol agent, Trump voters, and the CEO of Uber.
They were told three words and no other explanation: "It's a no."
The delegates and Palestine protesters have been working tirelessly to get the DNC to rescind this decision on the last day of the convention and apply pressure. There is only one ethnic background that is not allowed to speak at the DNC, and that is Palestinians.
Georgia State Representative Ruwa Romman is at the top of the list of Palestinian democrats that were offered— of which the Uncommitted Movement and delegates generously offered the DNC to take their pick.
In case they don't let her speak, this is her speech.

Don't skip, please help you improve your health!!🆘 🍉 🇵🇸😭
Hello, my name is Hadia Saud. I lost my husband, Moamen Akl, the bodybuilding champion
We lived a happy life, we had a house and a gym. He participated in international tournaments held in Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, China and others and contributed to his winning many titles.
But since October 7, our club has been destroyed. Then my husband was martyred in an air strike, and after that my mother, who worked in an institution that exploited her private needs, was martyred. “I lost my father, who was a tailor, and my brothers as well, and now I take care of my younger brothers.” Talaat (15 years old), Khalil (14 years old), Ritaj (10 years old), Sobhi (9 years old), and Tayseer (6 years old) suffered an eye injury that required an expensive surgery. Zahra (5 years old) never stops resisting psychological pressure and bedwetting.
We are now in northern Gaza and we suffer from a loss of security in food, drink, clothing and medicine
We are threatened with death every minute, from the continuous bombing that has not stopped.
Since October 7, we have been displaced more than several times after being bombed. Our house was completely destroyed, and we are now in a school for displaced people. We suffer from skin diseases due to the lack of water and the lack of drinking water. There is no place for us in these crowded and displaced places, and there is no support for us and my brothers in the north.
I also need your donations so that we can escape death and travel for survival treatment, as travel costs are very high. Help me and my fellow children so that we can escape death and start over in a better place.
Please hope it grows
Every day I face a difficult life. There is nothing that I am still the support for my brothers in everything after my father and mother, and in everything in this life.
I try to provide some food for at least half of the morning every day for my brothers, and my battle to obtain clean drinking water, if any, is still ongoing, as we are on the cusp of a normal winter. How can I do this? Let us bring clothes and a cover to protect us from the cold weather
The daily struggle to survive in the hope of reaching a decent life. I address this request and ask for basic assistance for us in trying to travel for me and my brothers and to perform an urgent operation for my injured brother before he loses his eye.
These donations will be used for food and medicine and will be used for travel and treatment...
I endured this life like no one else did. Wrestling, days and my spirit to be steadfast for my brothers
I ask you to support me so that I can get rid of this fear that clouds my mind and thinking
Your donations and assistance can speak greatly in our lives
We thank you from our hearts for your generosity and support. I need your support to motivate us for the time, which will give me hope for me and all my brothers and end the difficulties until this collective gathering ends
🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘
Each (55 Swedish krona = 5 dollars)
100 dollars = 1100 kroner
It will make a difference 🙏🍉 Be the one to help us
Every donation can make a real difference and give us hope until this war ends.
Our team at #GazaVetters has rigorously vetted and approved this campaign, earning it a spot on our official list at #65 .

!WARNING FOR THE VERY GLITTERY AND BRIGHT IMAGES AT THE END!

🦣 Hi! I've been on this site for a while now and never really created a proper introduction. The preffered name I go for is Wiola, but I also use the name Cosma! 🦣
🌈 I'm 18 yo, white and polish. Transneutral agender (+ most likely nonhuman objectid but figuring it out) and tme! Lesbian oriented aroace. My primary language is polish but the stuff I reblog and post will probably almost always be either english or translated to english. I go by they/moth pronouns, in polish I use one/ich (girl they/them lmao) ONLY! I also prefer using feminatives over masculatives or neutral terms (I'm fine with being called either bro or dude or anything like this just like the feminine terms more). 🌈
🐩 I'm neurodivergent, currently diagnosed with ADHD, OCD and misophonia but I'm trying to consult with my therapist about a possible autism diagnosis! I NEED TONE TAGS, NOT ALL OF THEM, BUT /j, /lh, /nm, /nbh ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME! 🐩
🌌 My current fixations are plushies and stuffed animals. I'm overal very interested in animals and they bring me happiness and comfort. I've also been a fan of the Pokemon franchise for around nine years now. Besides that, Warrior Cats and Littlest Pet Shop.
I love nature, space, the sea and the ocean. 🌌
🦇 I mostly reblog here but sometimes I post art. 🦇
🦖 Askbox is always open. 🦖
I try to tag the fandom posts I reblog with each respective fandom, if you need me to tag anything so you could block it please tell me! The only thing I won't be tagging are the calls for action, fundraisers and general informational posts coming from either Palestine, Sudan, Congo or any other country. If you are bothered by any of those, do not interact with this blog, piece of shit.
For further DNI list:
- homophobes, transphobes, racists, anisemites, islamophobes, ableists, TERFs, bigots overal.
- pedos or zoos, necros, proshippers, comshippers or people neutral towards them.
- zionists, people neutral towards genocides, crisises or occupations currently happening in the world, pro-Russia fuckers.
- people who ignore the fact that Native Americans have asked multiple times to do not put feathers behind character's ears or general anyone who does cultural appropriation.
- people who support J.K. Rowling, Erin Hunter, Andrew Hussie, the creators of South Park or anyone like that.
- Harry Potter fans. Even if you do not support J.K. Rowling.
- I'll probably be very suspicious about South Park fans interacting. Please be normal, think for yourself, steal the show episodes from somewhere to not benefit either the creators, Paramount or Comedy Central and do not justify posting bigotry by saying that "it's South Park so of course it's going to have [insert a type of bigotry here]". Just please, be normal it's not that difficult!!!
- also please do not interact with this blog or talk to me if you're below the age of 16! I'm usually okay with people not younger than 15 interacting with me (except the fact that I will always treat them as children), but I don't feel comfortable allowing it on this blog. I will be blocking everyone below that age who interacts for my own comfort, so please don't get upset over that boundary and stay safe.
This is mostly a SFW blog, but some things (like discussing heavy topics in fiction, blood on artworks etc.) might come around as not suitable for younger audience! I also might reblog from the blogs that have either suggestive/NSFW URLs or post mature content, so keep that in mind before following or scrolling down throught my blog.
I tag my art with -> #my art
And I'll probably start tagging my other posts with -> #bat bs
