is it detrimental for someone who is Rahu-dominant to have their Rahu positioned in a Ketu-ruled nakshatra (and vice versa)? what would that entail, since Rahu/Ketu are considered opposites?
This is a great question. From my knowledge this will depend on the nakshatra in which Rahu or Ketu are located.
Rahu gotta be balanced out cause in a Ketu nakshatra it can make Rahu go overboard with its desires. Rahu is the head with no body it eats without feeling full. The head is filled with many ideas and desires. In a Ketu nakshatra, Rahu is also filled with desires of power or dominance and may be confused with its true calling. Let’s remember Ketu ruled nakshatras are powerful ones that most politicians have. And what does power do to people ? Power changes people who are not used to it. Usually Rahu doesn’t care about power even if through its actions it can create it.
Rahu is supposed to create heaven on earth. On a Ketu nakshatra, it gets its roots on earth so it might symbolise a fall from heaven. So this energy has to be tamed. Especially in Magha nakshatra cause a strong ego is added to the mixture…
Now Ketu actually creates a great energy in an Rahu nakshatra. Imagine the powerful and spiritual head less Ketu which can handle power is now getting the eyes, the visions and the head it needs to apply its energy. It gives great results.
Moreover this combination might create confusion in an individual’s mind about their life purpose especially if major planets aspects Rahu or Ketu such as sun, moon or 1st house lord or atmakaraka and amatyakaraka
Transit of Rahu over natal Ketu and Ketu over natal Rahu may help the native with this disposition get clarity on their life path.
Rahu and Ketu are opposite yes but they are also complementary. They work as a team in a chart and symbolise the background energy.
I got a post on Rahu and Ketu, please check it out if you haven’t read it yet so you can understand those two better.
Finally everything I wrote here is a general perspective. I can give better answers through a personal reading of the birth chart and divisional charts. You can dm me and send me your birth chart and I’ll do my best to help you figure it out and guide you.
Thank you for your question and Happy New Year, wishing you all the best, blessings and joy 💫

Astro Observations-6💪
Helllooo! Here we go with Part-6 🤗 Feel free to comment down your thoughts/experiences💅💃
(These observations are based on the whole sign system, sidereal charts and all obs are subject to change with other aspects in the chart, so don't conclude anything with a single placement) ❤
Ascendant Lord in Cardinal signs can mean that the person has control over their mind and thoughts. They always have the tendency to focus on the brighter side of everything and are not easily influenced by anyone. They do what they decide to and unwaveringly stick to it.💪
Ascendant in Mrigashira, Chitra and Dhanishta - They can be short tempered and take hasty decisions. They're driven by emotions, making them prone to react based on their current emotions and regret it later. This can apply to 1H mars too.🤯
Mercury-Rahu conjunction (within 5 degrees) in 3/6/8/12H---Pls be careful on the internet. These placements can be affected by cybercrime issues. This could happen based on the house themes, not necessarily for everyone, just a reminder to stay safe sweeties.👩💻
Rahu in asc or in conjunction with ascendant lord - Delulu pro max placement fr. They be having a whole different world in their mind or acting like they have multiple personalities. It's so hard to read them, no matter how many yrs you spend with them, you'll still be wondering how they would react or what they would say for a particular situation. They shed their personality or remold it frequently that they feel like a whole different person within short spans of time. 🐍
Venus-Saturn conjunction in 12H especially for Gemini and Scorpio ascendants - Their first heartbreak would be insane. They could've got to the point of engagement or in a long term relationship, so used to each other and never would've imagined a breakup but it would strike them so hard one fine day, they would've pictured and planned their whole life with that person. This placement can give an unexpected, absolutely shattering kind of heartbreak in their first love.🤧
Dhanishta Moon- Conflicts with their mom. Mom could often use emotional blackmail as a weapon or leave the household often if it's in 8/9/12H.😬
11H lord in Ardra, Swati or Shatabisha- Friendships you get can be totally different from what you've expected. The friend you loved so much can surprisingly show their true colors and betray you whereas the person you didn't even like to interact with at first could become your loyal confidants. Forget getting like minded friends, you'll get the type of friends who will motivate you to be more open minded, teach you controversial/ type of stuff that doesn't go along with the conservative or large scale population. Whether they're a bad influence or good influence depends on the 11H lord.💯
Mars in 6-8 Alignment synastry (ie. If their mars is in 8H when counted from your mars, yours will be in 6H when counted from their mars)--The physical attraction is eternal and this could also be someone you'll have your first time with. The lust part will be never ending, if there are other long term aspects, this couple could turn out to be the ones having the same libido & yearning as before kind of physical intimacy even after manyyy yearrsss. As this alignment includes 6H too, the frequency will be high as 6H indicates routine.💀
Jupiter in Domicile/Exalted house in D9 in Woman's chart- Partner will suit your type so perfectly, it will feel like you've manifested the type of person you wished for. The downside is the qualities you wished for will be overexpressed, which can be a problem sometimes. If u wished for a kind hearted and helping person, they could be so much that they give out hefty checks out for donations, you could feel that the amount is unnecessarily high. They're what you wished for, you know that but sometimes it's too much and feels overwhelming or troublesome to handle.💖
Venus-Ketu conjunction in 12H-Especially in capricorn or aquarius can lead to unrequited love. They can be in delulu love for so many years and obsessed with them. They just want that one person and no one else, they would start to understand the reality that this is going nowhere only around 25yrs old. Guys, you deserve better wake up!🤗
This should be carefully analyzed- If your 11H or it's lord is stronger than 7H or it's lord, it can lead to a second marriage or multiple love affairs.😌
Venus in 2H (In Leo/Libra)- The type of ppl to woo the opposite gender by their flirtatious and spontaneous talks. They tend to spend a lot on their partners, the type of spending can be based on the naks. Magha venus can buy antique or unique products for their partners, they focus more on the status a specific gift shows rather than it's utility. Purva phalguni venus would buy a lot for themselves too and they would love joint assets, gifts that can be shared between the couple, like a luxury car or just a unisex branded hoodie. Vishaka venus would be the partners who take their better half on a shopping spree and let them buy anything for themselves, they mostly would like to leave the choice to their partner.💝
Let's Learn and Grow Together!💅💋
With Love-Yashi ❤⚡
Masterlist💖

𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧-𝐑𝐚𝐡𝐮-𝐊𝐞𝐭𝐮: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦
the prominent themes of vampirism such as desire, hunger, mystery and illusions tie so perfectly with the moon and its nodes. it wasn't surprising to find the nodes dominating this genre the most, along with the luminaries (moon & sun nakshatras, but more fittingly the moon). i will not be touching on the few sun nakshatras playing vampires, as the moon makes far more sense symbolizing true vampiric nature.
So many vampire movie posters have this luminous glow to them, likely done consciously because of these creatures' affinity for nighttime, and generally being nocturnal as they're extremely sensitive to any type of sunlight.
I've once briefly mentioned, in my "Moon Dominant Themes" post, that lunar natives can operate very secretly, such as 'working in the shadows'. And the whole lore of vampires always emphasizes their ability to hide themselves while still living among humans.
Vampires undergoing periods of dormancy and resurgence is interesting as that can also be linked back to the moon's cycles of waxing & maning. The influence that the moon has on vampires, in some legends, is during certain lunar phases in which they become more active. A full moon could literally mean that their strength has enhanced, whilst a moonless night could mean their desire for blood is heightened.
Rohini Sun Colin Farrell
Claire Nakti explored, in her "TOP 3 Most Magical & Mystical Astrology Signs | Cults, Divination, & Occultism | Part 2 (Nakshatras)" documentary, on the ability of Moon nakshatra natives to brainwash/mind control/hypnotize.
daniel kaluuya is a hasta moon, not rohini.
As these natives are often cult leaders, their ability to influence the mind goes back to their lunar-rulership. The Moon rules over the mind, emotions and subconscious. A vampire's ability to hypnotize humans and other lesser beings is in parallel to the Moon's influence over the psyche and subconscious.
This illusory nature found in vampires can be connected to the shadow planet, Rahu. As Rahu is illusions, desire, hunger. Rahu is very seductive and tempting; this could tie back to some legends in which vampires lure their prey giving them promises of pleasure.
Ardra Sun Tom Cruise.
In "Interview with the Vampire", Tom Cruise plays Lestat who is an overindulgent, greedy vampire. Rahu governs desires and the pursuit of worldly pleasures. It's related to insatiable cravings that lead to greed. The lustful nature of Rahu is seen in Lestat's intense bloodlust and the chaos it brings.
Rahu's associations with eclipses relates to their ability of being hidden in the shadows. Another hint is in Rahu being a Shadow planet itself, just like Ketu is which is also related to vampires.
The story about Rahu's head getting decapitated by Vishnu for trying to get a drink out of the nectar of immortality can be brilliantly paralleled with vampirism. Due to Rahu's consumption of the drop of the nectar, he became the infamous dismembered immortal. His dismemberment a symbol of the detachment from humanity to vampirism.
Rahu is considered an entity of darkness and malevolence, preying upon cosmic forces and defying the natural order of things (such as vampirism which does defy nature itself, ie. the dead becoming undead) in pursuit for immortality. Vampires are literal parasites, and Rahu is also parasitical. Vampires feed on humans without providing any benefit in the ecosystem in return, a one-sided relationship which resembles one between a parasite and its host. Rahu is depicted as insatiable and consuming, feeding and draining one's energy. It creates a cycle of thirsting for more without any fulfillment, a predicament vampires find themselves in.
Ashwini Sun Luke Evans
Rahu and Ketu represent the lunar nodes, respectively depicted as the head and tail of the celestial serpent. Their energetic interaction can be likened to the endless chase between a vampire and a vampire hunter, villain and hero, the friction between unlikely lovers. It's obvious in how Rahu embodies the insatiable hunger for experiences and the craving for fulfillment that it can be the vampiric force in such a dynamic. Like a vampire, Rahu relentlessly pursues its desires, often leading to greed and excess. And then you have Ketu, on the other hand, which embodies detachment, spirituality, and liberation from worldly attachments. It quite literally symbolizes the renunciation of desires and the quest for enlightenment, opposing Rahu's restlessness for more. Ketu is a cutting force, and like a determined vampire hunter, is skilled in tracking down illusions and breaking free from temptations.
Although it sounds like a more fitting interplay between Rahu as the evil force and Ketu as the hunter, it's actually more seen in the other way around.
It is more so that Rahuvians are the vampire hunters, which I found so intriguing; showcasing how Rahu is both the parasitical (illusory), and also the one to be rid of parasites (disillusionment). And I have explored this particular theme in my Rahu post -- how Rahu natives experience a lot of disillusionment from their reality, wanting to cast away the illusions that drain the life force.
The reversal of roles showcases the fluidity of the nodes; their roles almost always expected to reverse, illustrating just how Rahu and Ketu are deeply intertwined with the concept of karma, representing the push-&-pull between cosmic forces of destiny.
More nodal-vampire movies, and other examples in which Rahu & Ketu find themselves on opposite sides of the same spectrum in which they are both vampires, similar to the friction seen between Louis (Ketu) and Lestat (Rahu) in "Interview with the Vampire".
In the film "Fright Night", the one who has to kill the villainous vampire is an Ashwini native. It is also interesting how in "Queen of the Damned" (above, right), the villain is a Magha native who must be stopped by her Mula lover -- both being vampires.
As mentioned in the figure image about the film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", where a nodal-ruled native is paired up with someone who is lunar-ruled, this is a type of pairing seen a lot in these supernatural stories.
Similarly to "Twilight", as Edward was the one to turn Bella into a vampire, we see the planetary reversal of this in which the lunar-native is the one who turns the nodal-native.
Or the film "Vamps" in which Hasta Sun, Shatabhisha Moon native Alicia Silverstone turns Mula Sun, Magha Moon native Krysten Ritter into a vampire.
It isn't a surprise that the moon and its nodes are related to the extremities of the mind. These energies can cause isolation due to how polarizing they come off in regular society (furthermore validating its relation to vampirism), so they become attracted to one another -- especially the nodal natives to the moon natives, because of how much they feel magnetized by them, and vice versa.
edit: also paul wesley could be a purva phalguni moon instead of magha, there is an unconfirmed birthtime out there + he is a pushya sun and i have noticed sun nakshatras along with saturn nakshatras in vampiric roles as well. might touch on this some time soon.
The presence of some Sun nakshatras in vampire stories is present and that could tie to the Sun's influence over the Moon despite the fact that solar symbolisms regarding vampirism don't exist, and vampires are far too sensitive to the Sun so much so that they get sunburn during the full moon where the sun's light reflects (interesting to think about). The whole point of a vampire is to lurk in the shadows or during nighttime, so the strict avoidance of the Sun could make sense in there being solar-natives in vampiric roles. It makes for an interesting contradiction, certainly.
Ketu is the body of the severed demon Rahu following the consumption of the elixir. Much like Rahu, Ketu is also associated to darkness and illusions. But it symbolizes the darker, unseen aspects of reality -- all the hidden forces and energies as I've touched on in my Ketu exploration. Ketu and Rahu are two sides of the same coin, it isn't surprising to see them share many vampiric roles/stories.
Ketu is about spiritual liberation, detachment (in this context, becoming a vampire means a harsh detachment from normality/the old life), transcendence; these existential themes are found in vampirism.
The character Louis in "Interview with the Vampire" played by Mula Sun Brad Pitt describes his existential crisis as a vampire to a Magha Sun human who interviews him.
The enhanced strength, agility, speed, hearing and all these abilities are gained after the painful transformation process, going from human to vampire. This process is seen in the film "Interview with the Vampire", Mula Sun Brad Pitt's character going through excruciating pain when turning. My mind immediately takes me to Claire Nakti's first Mula nakshatra exploration, in which she touched on the interconnection of pain and evolution for access to more powers.
edit: robert pattinson is an ardra moon, not sun. and i accidentally used jk rowling's face as l.j smith, ugh! 💔
Vampires are caught between worlds, trapped in a liminal space between life & death. Ketu can cause feelings of entrapment. The yearning for release from their eternal existence is a common theme, as Ketu wants to escape its body. Louis de Pointe du Lac is the best character as example of rejecting one's own nature and wanting to cease to exist.
Mula Sun Brad Pitt
nodals being so emo jfc
notes: colin farrell's birthtime accuracy is botched, he's definitely a mula ascendant. tom hiddleston stays a possible ashwini moon until he's not (until his birthtime is available and accurate).

Mercury AtmaKaraka: Souls in search of Dialogue and Wisdom
“Mercury has the best looks, is witty, likes jokes and laughter, and is erudite. He assumes the nature and constitution of the planets with which he is associated” Parashari 3.26
In Vedic astrology, the concept of AtmaKaraka is one of the most profound and revealing in the natal chart. The atmaKaraka, also known as the “soul indicator”, is the planet that bears the greatest responsibility for the individual’s spiritual journey. It represents the greatest challenges, lessons and the path that the soul must take in this life to achieve growth and fulfillment. The planet with the highest degree in any sign becomes the AtmaKaraka, “the significator of self” or “self-indicator”. This, as the lord of the Ascendant, can become the most powerful planet in your chart. It is the most important planet to consider when judging an individual's spiritual nature, particularly in relation to its position in the ninth harmonic chart (navamsha). He provides us with a key to the aspirations of the soul. We often consider its position, such as the Ascendant, and read the chart indications accordingly.
This planet not only guides the purpose of life, but also indicates internal obstacles that a person needs to overcome to find their true identity. The AtmaKaraka position shows how we deal with our weaknesses, how we develop spiritually and where we should invest energy to evolve. The Atmakaraka carries the most important karmic lessons for this incarnation, becoming a key to understanding destiny and the soul's inner motivations. Although there are many other important points in the birth chart, the Atma is special because it is a direct representation of the qualities that our soul has already mastered in past lives and those that still need to be worked on. Depending on which planet occupies this position, the nature of these lessons varies profoundly. AK influences how we approach challenges in different areas of life, right down to our spiritual worldview.
Mercury is the greatest messenger of the gods. It is the planet that represents speech, communication and commerce at all levels. In its lowest function it organizes and articulates material sources. In its highest function it connects us with our internal capacity: the power of the mind.
As Jupiter generally represents the higher or abstract mind, Mercury indicates the lower or concrete mind, the intellect or informational mind. However, Mercury is not limited to this. It also shows the abstract mind in its discriminatory capacity and connects us with the Divine World, or the world of truth. Mercury rules writing, education, calculations, thoughts. It is the planets that move faster and so this indicates quick understanding, ease and plasticity in expression. Mercury is quick to correlate ideas and quick to exchange information or things of value. It shows the intellectual power and degree of mental development in life.
When Mercury assumes the role of AtmaKaraka, the soul's journey is especially marked by the power of intellect, communication and learning. Mercury is a planet of duality and adaptability. It governs the mind, speech, logic and the ability to absorb knowledge. For those with Mercury as AK, life lessons revolve around the way they express themselves, how they interact in the world through words and ideas, and how they develop a deeper understanding of the realities that surround them.
Individuals with Mercury like AtmaKaraka are on a mission to master the power of the mind and communication. For them, words are more than simple tools of expression: they are portals of transformation. There is a strong desire to learn and share knowledge, and their lives often revolve around intellectual processes, teaching, writing or any form of information exchange. However, the challenge is not just to acquire wisdom, but to use it ethically, clearly and sufficiently. Mercury as AK can also indicate the need to find balance between reason and emotion. Although these individuals may be inclined to rely on their sharp minds, there is an important lesson about integrating feelings with logic. They may face dilemmas related to the way they communicate, they may need to learn to be more patient, clear or flexible in their interactions. There is also an inclination to avoid hasty decisions, as Mercury can be quick to jump to conclusions without considering all the variables. This karmic path demands that natives develop a flexible mind, which welcomes different perspectives and is always open to evolving their thinking. Thus, spiritual growth for those with Mercury like AtmaKaraka does not just lie in accumulating information, but in transforming it into profound wisdom that can be shared with the world.
Image description: Emma Watson at the launch of the HeforShe campaign at the ONU in which she says: "the more I talk about feminism, the more I come across the reality of fighting for women's rights." The (brazilian) singer Sandy Leah, when she was honored at PUC (Pontifical Catholic University) said: "if I can give some advice, I would say: stay curious, be present in the here and now, question, participate, get involved and, above all, never underestimate the power of education to change the world." Emma Watson has a degree in English Literature and Sandy also has a degree in Literature. Both pursued academic degrees that require an advanced understanding of the language. This reflects a strong alignment with the Mercurian nature that values the ability to analyze and convey ideas with clarity and depth. Angelina Jolie promotes a variety of causes, including environmental conservation, education and women's rights, and is best known for her advocacy on behalf of refugees. She advocates for refugees in several large-scale crises. Djamila Ribeiro (brazilian philosopher) in her speech at the ONU: "education plays a fundamental role in creating opportunities and expanding our worldview. Education has the power to transform people and institutions." People with Mercury atmakaraka tend to have a strong desire to share information, which makes them adept at engaging in debates, social discourses and conveying messages to the public.
Mercury, when it is at its highest degree, breaks the barrier and reveals humanity and human needs. Individuals have compassion and equity based not so much on feeling, but on objectivity and practicality. Mercury may value public opinion more than the truth, and becomes dependent and defensive of any involvement. He is the mind that has no real nature, but reflects everything that it considers to be reality.
Mercury is a childish planet and is considered the son of the Moon. He is not the mind that perceives, but can organize ideas. Mercury is the rational mind, the most articulate part of the subconscious (the Moon). In Sanskrit, Mercury is Budha, which means intelligence and is related to Buddhi, the faculty of determination by which we discern the real from the unreal (fully awakening, one becomes enlightened, a Budha). When this faculty judges reality not by appearances, but by discerning the transitory from the eternal, then it functions correctly and the superior power of Mercury is revealed. When we discriminate between names and shapes, we become trapped in the apparent reality of the external world. In the highest sense, Mercury is that faculty of truth and determination that discriminates the real from the unreal, the pure from the impure, truth from illusion. This is the most precise and perfect functioning of the mind. In this higher activity (atmakaraka), Mercury, the mind, is Vishnu, the pervasive consciousness who is also the divine son, the guiding cosmic intelligence, and the source of the great teachers.

Rahu & Ketu: Abuse & Addiction
TW: drug overdose, death, suicide, abuse, childhood abuse
Nodal influence can be very destabilising and intoxicating. They're opposites but as they say the extremes of anything is a meeting point for it's opposite, so Rahu & Ketu share many similarities.
Rahu & Ketu are both shadow planets, Rahu is the head whereas Ketu is the tail. This in itself reveals much about the nature of the two. Rahu is over immersed in the world whereas Ketu is completely cut off from it.
When I say Rahu is over immersed/over stimulated, I don't mean they're profoundly connected to reality, I mean the opposite, they're deeply immersed in Maya/illusion that they often have no sense of reality. Rahu is the head, imagine if you lived in your head all the time? You'd be in your own la la land, disconnected from what is actually happening around you. This is Rahu energy. Without your body, you cannot use your senses, you cannot fully feel alive or experience reality. Rahu being the head means you're cut off from what is "real". You only live in your head and what happens in your head is very subjective and completely illusory.
They are so deeply immersed in an illusory world. This can manifest as substance addiction, video gaming, fame, material success, internet addiction, overly obsessed with "binging" content, maladaptive daydreaming etc, any experience that disconnects you from what is "real" and immerses you in something that feels very real but isn't real. Both Rahu and Ketu people suffer from addiction, Claire had mentioned that Nodal influence can make someone prone to addiction but why Rahu and Ketu are addicted tend to be very different. Rahu is overstimulated, they always need more of everything. There are people who spend 10 hours a day just watching YouTube videos or IG reels or whatever, that's because they need that much stimulation, since they live in their heads. Their minds need that kind of fodder to thrive off of. Once you start using any kind of substance, your brain builds a tolerance for it and you have to start using higher and higher doses to get the same high. When a Rahu native accumulates wealth, they start indulging in it but nothing is ever enough. They never feel "full", they don't have that fuse in their brain that flares up and says "this is enough". Basically they never know when to stop, they just keep going and going and going with anything they immerse themselves in. People play video games for 3-4 days straight without leaving their game set up. They don't ever feel satisfied. This is scary because "feeling full" is our brain's way of asking us to stop. Without that mechanism, we would overindulge and overdo everything which is what these natives do.
This is also why relationships are so tricky for Nodal people. They give too much and immerse themselves to the point where it's detrimental to the relationship. You either feel like you're losing part of yourself to it or the other person feels like you're consuming their energy too much (which makes them feel drained). Moderation does not exist for Nodal people either they're completely detached or they're completely obsessed.
Its similar to Jupiter energy in the sense that Jupiter is also very expansive and has the ability to immerse itself in everything and give so much but Jupiter has other principles that firmly ground it in reality as it is not a shadow planet like Rahu. It is not suspended in an illusion, Jupiter natives give so much or do so much because they have the internal space to do so, not out of a tendency to immerse themselves in Maya/illusion. Jupiter is the opposite, they see through Maya and find it hard to consciously part take in it.
Taylor Swift- Ardra Moon
She works harder than anybody in the biz. Her concerts are like 3 hours long and she does like 40-50 shows on average. She's ALWAYS doing THE most. She releases a new album every 2 years or so, has other projects etc this is a positive manifestation of Rahu energy because it allows you to be deeply immersed in your craft and your world but it also means you live in a bubble and you are cut off from "real life".
Ketu is the tail, it is cut off from reality and feels profoundly disconnected to reality. It is hard for these natives to feel like they relate to anything. This is why Ketuvians struggle with addiction. They use substances because they want to feel something, want to feel tethered, want to feel connected. They have to use higher doses because it helps them feel heightened emotions when they usually don't feel anything at all.
Ketu is connected to spirituality because natives who feel disconnected from the real world to this extent find it easier to immerse themselves in the occult and in esoterica. It is more abstract and requires you to think non-logically, i.e, experientially, but this is something Ketuvians have a hard time with, they themselves feel very "abstract" or like they aren't real or don't exist, so while they're intrinsically drawn to the esoteric, they feel untethered/ungrounded by immersing themselves in it too much. They need something they can cling to, they need something solid that they can attach themselves to.
All Rahuvian nakshatras belong to the Shudra caste, specifically the Butcher caste, this is very interesting because Shudra is the lowest caste (Mleccha is "outcaste" which means it exists outside the system entirely), to be Rahuvian means to operate on the lowest level. Butchers have to slaughter meat to make a living, that is unpleasant and brutal work, and only if they are disconnected from it can they keep doing it. They cannot be too focused on what they actually do because then it will be hard for them to do their tasks. They're not repulsed by it because they're disconnected from it.
2/3 Ketuvian naks are also Shudra caste whereas Ashwini is the only Ketu nak that is upper caste as it is a Vaishya nak.
(table by me hehe)
Rahuvian naks are found in all 3 ganas (Swati is deva gana, Ardra is manushya gana, Shatabhisha is rakshasa gana)
2/3 Ketuvian naks are Rakshasa gana (Mula, Magha) with only Ashwini being a Deva gana nak
I feel like Ketuvians are always made to feel like the bad guy / people villainize them a lot. They're the "ugly ducklings" who have to "win" approval as they're never accepted for who they are.
Rahu needs to immerse itself in something because its sensory perception is limited and they need to really indulge to grasp what is "real". Its very common for people with heavy Rahuvian or Rahu in a malefic placement to experience hallucinations or feel like their grip on reality is very thin.
Ketu has nothing perceive with at all. Its like being completely lost in the shadows or the dark. There's no perception taking place at all, it makes the natives inwardly drawn because its truly hard for them to absorb from their surroundings unlike Rahu which absorbs easily and fully. Rahu is over immersed whereas Ketu lacks immersion at all.
Lets look at the yoni animals of Rahu & Ketu naks respectively
Rahu: Ardra -dog yoni, Shatabhisha- horse yoni, Swati-buffalo yoni
Ketu: Magha-rat yoni, Mula- dog yoni, Ashwini-horse yoni
one common theme is that all these animals are abused, mistreated and exploited
(rats are the go to animal for lab testing, dogs are valued for their loyalty and are at the mercy of their owners, horses are made to endure so much labour, buffalos are farm animals)
all of these animals are also associated with dirt/filth in some way or another which is perhaps why people with Nodal influence often have a dishevelled appearance. They're bad at taking care of themselves.
Both horse yoni & dog yoni are divided among Rahu & Ketu naks whereas the yoni consort for Swati is Hasta (Moon ruled) and Magha is Purvaphalguni (Venus ruled).
Horses are very strong but very fragile animals. They start walking almost immediately after birth, they sleep standing up but they require a lot of attention and care as their health tends to be very fragile. Even though horses are associated with working hard, its not exactly innately part of their nature, it's just that they've been domesticated into being that way. It represents a very powerful active energy, as horses can be highly temperamental and unpredictable.
Dog yoni on the other hand, makes a person very needy and eager to please others. Dogs depend on the affection of their owners and without it they feel unhappy. Both these nakshatras have obsessive tendencies and a people pleasing nature. They're also two nakshatras who endure abuse the most.
I've noticed that a lot of people tend to have both nodes in their chart and I wonder what its like to house such contradictions. On one hand you're extremely involved, on the other, you're supremely detached.
The entertainment industry is one where people with Nodal influence really thrive but also often, self-destruct themselves. Its immensely hard to balance these energies since Rahu heightens whatever is in it, the way Jupiter expands whatever it touches. Both planets make you feel manic but in different ways.
Addiction is the result of an overactive nervous system and a coping mechanism. Ketu feels cut off from society/life/the world so in order to feel connected, it over indulges. Rahu needs something that will help them fully lose themselves, idk if I'm explaining it properly but you know how the best movies you've watched are the ones where you feel like you were in them experiencing those things with the characters? Its like that
There is an unhappy pattern of Rahu & Ketu influenced people being abused, I have especially noted this among child actors but also others.
Taylor Momsen- Swati Moon
Her parents signed her up with Ford Modeling when she was just 2 years old. "No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice. My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have friends. I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."
This theme of not experiencing "real life" or reality is very prominent in the lives of Rahuvian and Ketuvian people. It can be interpreted in many ways according to the context but there is always a sense of being deprived of what was "normal" or "real" as a result of which these natives had to live in their imagination or indulge in other things.
Like the child star who worked their whole life playing other people (acting is very Rahuvian) or the loner kid who spends all their time immersed in movies or video games because that feels more "real" to them.
Fame is also an inherently Rahuvian experience bc it's an illusion & a prison.
Judy Garland- Ardra Rising, Mula Moon
She was emotionally abused and controlled by her mother who got her addicted to drugs by the time she was a teenager. She was also sexually abused by the studio executives she worked with. Judy had a very tough life.
Aaron Carter, Ardra Moon, Mula Rising
Aaron Carter claimed that as a teen musician, his family spent $500 million of his money on 15 houses and 30 cars. He claimed that when his parents sold the houses, he didn't get a cut of the profits. He also alleged that his dad shot a .44 magnum near his ear — which resulted in him going 70% deaf in one ear — to force him into signing a $256,000 check.
Being heavily tattooed (more examples at the end of this post) is also a very Nodal thing to do.
He unfortunately passed away in 2022 from an accidental drug overdose. This is also a very unfortunate pattern among Nodal celebrities.
Macaulay Culkin- Shatabhisha Moon, Magha Sun & Mercury
Macaulay Culkin's father Kit managed him during his childhood career. Macaulay has shared that his father was controlling and had him on a very busy filming schedule in the early '90s. He added his father made him stay up every night to study the lines he would have to say the next day. Macaulay asserted that his father was "such a crazy person" that he forced him to do SNL without cue cards when he hosted the show at 11 years old. Macaulay has explained that he felt his father was jealous of him because “everything he tried to do in his life I excelled at before I was 10 years old.”When Macaulay stopped acting after his 1994 movie Richie Rich, he told his parents, “I’m done, guys — hope you all made your money because there is no more coming from me.”His parents were never married and after he stopped acting, his mother filed for custody. Macaulay ended up taking his parents to court to stop them from controlling his $17 million in earnings. Since then, he and his father have been estranged.
I feel like the "child star gone wild" is a trope meant specifically for Nodal people
Keke Palmer, Magha Sun & Mercury, Mula Moon
Palmer shared on IG:
"Due to traveling and scheduling both of my parents had to stop working to support my career and be present for my three siblings, leaving me with the financial responsibility around age 12. Which I took great pride in because I knew what it would do for generations to come and a huge blessing that I could even help out. However it caused me a lot of pain because I essentially had to abandon my childhood feelings and desires, becoming like a parentalized child, which is something some of you can probably relate to in your own way. This was something that I have had to continuously work through because I am grateful but often feel like.. I missed “IT”. Life can be such a tragic comedy because how funny is it.. that now becoming an actual parent, and the responsibility I’ve always carried being more valid now than ever, has in fact given me the chance to feel what it’s like to be a kid again, I get a chance to explore a lot of the things I missed out on with my son, His freedom is like, the most priceless gift to me. He is already teaching me so much, it’s like he awakened the little me inside that I thought was long gone."
Ketu dominance = being your own parent, being neglected by your family or having to be your parent's parent.
Michael Jackson, Magha Sun & Mercury, Shatabhisha Rising
From a young age Jackson was physically and mentally abused by his father, enduring incessant rehearsals, whippings and name-calling. Jackson's abuse as a child affected him throughout his grown life. reading about the lives of the Jackson siblings and how severely they were all abused is very perspective altering and sad
Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Magha Moon, Ashlesha Rising (inc the ashlesha placement bc its another nak often subject to control and abuse)
“With what we were doing in business when we were younger, I don’t think it ever felt like we were actresses,” Mary-Kate “Because we spend so much more of our time not in front of the cameras, building a brand. Ashley agreed, saying: “I always looked at myself, even as a kid, as a business woman.” Mary-Kate said she wouldn't wish her childhood on anyone, and said she felt like a "monkey performer."
they quit acting in the mid 2000s and rarely make public appearances and god only knows what they endured in the business bc neither of them will talk about it.
Sarah Michelle Geller, Ashwini Sun conjunct Ketu, Shatabhisha Moon
Sarah herself enjoyed the path she'd ended up on, she has rules in place for her own daughter. Recalling the "industry abuses" she experienced as a teenager in Hollywood, she said she hoped she'd "set up a safety net for these actors that I didn't have," but that she and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. have "rules in place" that mean daughter Charlotte "can't be in front of a camera until she graduates high school."
Kylie Jenner, Swati Moon
Kylie started appearing on her family's reality show when she was 10
In 2016, she told her sister Kim in an episode of the show: "I feel like I've had anxiety for too long. I feel too much, I care too much, I read too much. Some people are born for this life and some people aren’t. I just know I’m not supposed to be famous.” in an old IG post she said: "I’m proud of myself, my heart, and my strength. Growing up in the light with a million eyes on you just isn’t normal. I’ve lost friends along the way and I’ve lost myself too sometimes. My first tattoo was 'sanity' to remind myself everyday to keep it. I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole young adult life." "I know I don't want to be famous forever. There's gonna be a time where I feel comfortable, I'm at a good place in my life, and I just stop."
Natalie Wood, Ashwini Moon
The late Natalie Wood was forced into acting by her mother, Maria, who missed her chance to become a performer and instead focussed her efforts on pushing her daughters to stardom.
While young Natalie had a natural talent for performing, it seemed that her reason for going to movie sets was more to please her mother than to quench any desire of her own.
Bella Thorne, Mula Moon
"I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14. When I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it. All damn night." She has also stated that she only started acting as a child to support her family.
Drew Barrymore, Shatabhisha Sun
Drew's mother took her to clubs and allowed her access to drugs and alcohol, ultimately leading to her institutionalization at the age of 13, and emancipating herself at 14. Drew described fame at such a young age as "a recipe for disaster."
Edith Piaf, Mula Sun & Mercury, Magha Mars
Born in Paris practically on the streets, she struggled from day one, the daughter of street performers. The mother, a singer, eventually abandoned both Edith and her father for a solo career. Piaf spent her youth entertaining passers-by, receiving little formal education in the process. She often accompanied her father's acrobat street act with her singing and at various times was forced to live with various relatives, in alleys or in cheap hotels. An aborted love affair left her with a baby girl at age 17, but little Marcelle died of meningitis at 2 years old. Devastated, Piaf returned to the streets she knew, now performing solo. Her fortunes finally changed when an impresario, Louis Leplee, mesmerized by what he heard, offered the starving but talented urchin a contract. He alone was responsible for taking her off the streets at age 20 and changing her name from Edith Gassion to "La Mome Piaf" (or "Kid Sparrow"). Piaf grew in status entertaining in elegant cafés and cabarets and became a singing sensation amid the chic French society with her throbbing vocals and raw, emotional power. From 1936, Piaf recorded many albums and eventually became one of the highest paid stars in the world.
Later in life she became an addict and died in poverty at the age of 47.
Brittany Murphy, Swati Moon & Venus
she was a child star who was managed by her controlling mom. she battled with eating disorders and drug addiction. rip britt.
Justin Bieber, Shatabhisha Sun conjunct Saturn
Justin shot to fame at a very young age and was severely exploited by his management/everybody around him
Now here are some heavily tatted celebs and their placements
L to R
Rihanna- Shatabhisha Sun
Paris Jackson- Ardra Moon
Cheryl Cole- Ardra Sun & Mars, Shatabhisha Moon
Demi Lovato- Magha Sun
Jungkook- Magha Moon, Mula Rising
Ruby Rose- Swati Rising
Machine Gun Kelly- Ashwini Sun
The 27 club refers to a phenomenon where several musicians have died by age 27, many from an overdose. Unfortunately many of them have Nodal influence.
Brian Jones- Shatabhisha Sun
Jimi Hendrix- Mula Rising
Amy Winehouse- Mula Moon
Kurt Cobain- Shatabhisha Sun, Ardra Moon,
Janis Joplin- Ardra Moon, Mula Mars, Asc conjunct Ketu (in Dhanishta)
Jim Morrison- Ketu conjunct Rising (in Shravana)
several other celebrities who have died from overdoses also tend to have prominent Nodal influence
John Belushi- Mula Rising
Phillip Seymour Hoffman- Mercury in Ardra 2h, Mars conjunct Ketu in Swati
Prince- Shatabhisha Moon, Ketu in Ashwini
Whitney Houston- Shatabhisha Rising
River Phoenix- Magha Sun conjunct Ketu, Swati Ascendant conjunct Jupiter
Elvis Presley- Shatabhisha Moon
Margaux Hemingway- Ashwini Rising
Nodal planets are shadow planets and it can be very difficult for these natives to manage this energy as it is energy without a source, Rahu & Ketu don't have physical form or existence, that is a lot of uncontrolled energy to possess within yourself. Many people turn to spirituality and other esoteric sources and good Rahu & Ketu influence is vital and necessary to study or gain access to gnosis, study astrology or other occult matters but when this energy is imbalanced in their chart, these natives are more prone to self-destruction than any other planetary dominance simply because the unbridled energy is impossible to contain and requires some kind of coping mechanism. I have dated several Nodal men and they all dealt with varying degrees of addiction to varying substances and they all spoke about "wanting to feel more real" or how "nothing feels solid". I will try to focus on the positive manifestations of the Nodes on a future post.
thanks for reading<333

Personal Nakshatras observations series: MULA NAKSHATRA part 1
2/27
nakshatra characteristics:
Translation: The root Symbol: A tied bunch of roots or elephant goad yoni: A male dog Presiding Deity: Kali or/and Niritti. Ruling Planet: Ketu Ruling Deity of the Planet: Ganesha Body parts: Feet & Left side of trunk. Nature: Rakshasa (demon) Mode: Active Number 19 Gender: Neuter or male (depending on the source) Dosha: Vata Guna: Tamasic Element: Air Disposition: Sharp and dreadful Bird: Red Vulture. Trimurti: Brahma/Creation. Direction: North Motivation/Goal: Kama. Downward Facing.
"The root star, origin star, foundation star"
Power to ruin, destroy, scatter things.
small overview of the nakshatra:
So Mula is the nakshatra that is opposite ardra and naturally, it's going to deal with opposite themes or at least is going to deal with the same matter but using another tactic
this time mula instead of simply cutting the problem right away now we are going to see an individual who will find the truth by digging into it.. digging into the roots to find the source of the problem.
mula its the "matured" state of ketu contrary to ardra which is the infant or initial manifestation of rahu
mula can be just as chaotic as ardra or even worse because this time there's not head only the body, ketu, and the challenge now it is to cut off only the part of the root that is sick or bringing problems.
this time instead of cutting the problem straight away we will go on a journey to see what happens when you decide to go after to eliminate the root of the problem and its consequences.
i also highly recommend that you check my previous post, that i will link on the end of this post, to be able to get a better understanding of the matter.
Pop culture mula representations:
Singers
Gerard Way (depression, singer and songwriter, fame, and art)
Gerard Way is a famous 00s punk rock vocalist of a band called My Chemical Romance. he has mula moon with mercury Bharani conjucted ketu Ashwini and just by looking at his placements we can already see that he has huge ketu energy on his chart.
He is a Taurus rising with mercury-ketu on his 12th, exalted rx venus on his 11th with the sun. The 12th house is the house of liberation, salvation, losses, and things that are hidden from us and the 11th is the house of earned gains and social networking.
(i use astroseek to see the carts so i believe that might be some differences although i don't think his nakshatras change regardless)
I am going to discuss the lyrics of his albums that, according to him, are very personal.
his second band album was launched in 2004 and it is called "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge"
okay lets just start by looking at the cover because i just found out that i was inspired by "bonnie and clydes kiss" and i just checked and clyde, just like Gerard, he have exalted venus (but gerard have retrograde venus and its at revati and clydes is at purva bdp),and they have their lagnas on the same nakshatra the difference is that g's is at taurus mrigashira and clydes at gemini
meaning that sad mula emo boy took inspiration on a couple of murders to make his band's debut album and to be even more coincidental is the fact that he have strong synastry with the man meaning that
"In the drawing, you can see a small white heart on the male character's forehead. It is the only spot on his bleeding forehead, as it represents the couple's bulletproof love."
and on this album there's a music dedicated to his dead grandmother, called Helena.
I will not elaborate further on this album because the focus of my analysis will be on the second album of the band, but this first observation is here to show that Gerard's way of dealing with his pain, alongside drug use, was to write songs.
my main focus will be in the bands second album, where through the lyrics, we can see his mother's issues, his fear of abandonment, and more of his personality.
the third band's album is called "the black parade" and the band recorded this album in a haunted abandoned house where the members lived for a while only to be able to record the album. The members spent 2 months inside a haunted mansion isolated and said to have experienced supernatural stuff.
It is a rock opera and concept album centered on a dying man with cancer known as "The Patient". The album tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflections on his life.
in short, the man died and saw his life in the form of a parade, hence it was called the black parade, it was a place where he reflected on his life choices after arriving at the afterlife.
now lets go over the album songs in a quick overview to see the story (the tracks are listed according to the order.)
"The Black Parade" focuses on the journey of a man known as "The Patient", diagnosed with cancer, as he reflects on his life and impending death. The album begins with "The End", where The Patient prepares for his funeral without expecting much mourning. In "Dead", he faces the reality of his imminent death and regrets not living his life fully. In "This Is How I Disappear", he realizes he will be forgotten and faces the consequences of his actions. "The Sharpest Lives" explores his toxic behavior and substance abuse after his lover leaves him. In Welcome to the Black Parade, The Patient recalls his father's advice to help others. In I Don't Love You, he breaks up out of self-hatred. House of Wolves sees him mocking fake faith. Cancer shows his fear of being remembered at his worst. Mama reflects on a mother's love despite her son's actions. The Patient learns that his family's love remains, like the mother's in the story. The Patient in "Sleep" faces internal turmoil and regrets, viewing himself as a monster unworthy of sympathy. Memories of his heinous acts torment him in death. The theme of disconnection from society, as portrayed by teenagers, reflects his warped perspective. "Disenchanted" portrays his wasted life and fear of death. In "Famous Last Words," The Patient finds hope for a second chance at life with his lover after facing his fear of death.
(I got this explanation from Reddit. tumblr didn't allow me to post the full explanation so please go to the post and read for yourself to see the detailed version.) (the explanation will use the detailed version of the track story explanation.)
in my personal opinion, Gerard was just as personal on this opera as he was on the song about his grandmother. This time we got to see mula's form of trying to fix the problems that disturb an individual's mind.
the lyrics feel way to personal, especially knowing that mulas tend to have mother issues, as we can see on the track mama where the dying man is begging for his mother for help and he feels desperate and looking for love and care, following the "welcome to the black parade" track where the man is remembering the words of his father and that to me portrays his rising ruler, Revati venus rx at 11th conjuncted his sun, the internal feeling of wanting to save people and to do good for others
In The Sharpest Lives, he says "he promises that if he has her back he will give up all of his addictions, as her light would be so bright in his world that the sun would be ashamed", the nodes are eclipsing the sun(Rahu the artificial sun) and the moon (ketu artificial moon), here I believe he meant that by facing her without the drug addiction he would be have no choice but to actually face his shadows because he uses the drugs to run from reality to run from his head demons.
he have rahu libra ruled by his rising lord, venus 11th that is conjuncted with his sun, libra = relationships, rahu fake or artificial, the artificial sun is ruled by exalted venus and pieces also deals with addictions, maybe the sun that he mentioned is the artificial sun, the one who would be ashamed, as his soul and venus are together.
everyone wonders what happens at the afterlife and no wonder he wrote this opera..... and by last the fact that he wonders through the whole album if he wasted his life away and desires to have his lost love back, again coming back to venus and union of two souls.
by he i was talking about gerard, who i truly believe mirrored himself on this punk opera as a way to express his mental tortures and transform into art. in the end the dying man and Gerard can be the same they sound the same.
differently from ardra, mula expresses his soul pains in a way more artistic to be able to find out what is wrong with him why does he feel so much pain in his life and regardless of gerard knowing or not those pains were put in his life as a test to achieve his soul liberation, something that I believe years later he find peace.
gerard said on a interview on 2022 :
-“The triumph of the human spirit over darkness was something that was kind of built into the DNA of the band from the beginning,” he explained. “The self-actualization, the triumph of the spirit and things like that, getting through really hard things. “There’s darkness in the world. And I think overcoming that darkness, that darkness externally and internally, is a beautiful thing. It’s a challenging thing, but it is beautiful if you can do that if you can kind of triumph over that. So that’s a theme that’s definitely in ‘Black Parade’, the song, and it’s in my work.”"
Billie Eilish (singer, famous star)
Billie is a famous pop singer that has mula sun-mercury-ketu 11th, 12th shravana moon, jupiter ardra rx - rahu mrigashira 5th, with lagnaand mars at purva bdp aquarius ruled by 4th rohini saturn rx.
where we got two famous singers with big saturn (gerard have cancer saturn i forgot to mention) ketu and Jupiter Energy that they channel to create their arts, but this time is billies brother who writes for her or co-writers with her (depending on the source you use).
finneas (her brother) have jupiter rx capricorn, leo stellium (mercury, venus and rahu) , mrigashira gemini moon and saturn pisces.
billies moon conjuncts her brothers jupiter and his moon conjunct her Jupiter-rahu and his ketu conjunct her first house lagna and mars so i truly believe that they are very close to each other and can understand each others internal mental battles to me they channel together, funny because one of the symbols of gemini is the twins.
also his sun conjuncts her saturn which should bring discipline to their work.
this time we got to see how mula operates under the umbrella of rahu, mula stellium ruled by jupiter ardra. In other words, we are going to see how, through an intellectual lens, Billie channels her inner mental torture and expresses her unique yet common emo mindset to make a career out of her pains.
she have her 10th ruler at 1st, 10th jyeshta venus ruled mars aquarius, this explains why shes very famous and why we are able to see her channelized expression of herself. 10th planets are what is exposed to the world, our reputation.
the 10th house is oposite the 4th, where the fourth house is the most private house of our chart and her chart ruler is at 4th, Rohini Saturn. Wealth is what, usually a rohini wants but its ruled by a jyeshta very public venus, venus does not like to be that public (exposed) and definitely had a hard life, two things that a rohini doesn't like at all.
just like Gerad, Billie displays mommy issues within her artwork, alongside her social difficulty, ketu = detached and is with sun-mercury meaning having a harder time with her mind.
her debut album called "When We Fall Asleep Where Do We Go" was inspired, in part, by lucid dreaming and night terrors. again two common nodal themes. According to her, night terrors and lucid dream is what happens when you fall asleep.
the album talks about hopes and fears surronding drug addiction, heartbreak, mental health, and suicide.
even tho the themes are and can be very personal billie said that she and her brother like to write as if they were someone else, meaning that she often likes to separates herself from the artwork this mimics the relation with herself, the 5th house is the natural house of the sun, the ego, and its located at the 11th, the house of social gains.
so this time, the idea of being a separate persona makes way more sense to her instead of gerads, because she really feels detached from all of these matters, mercury 11th with ketu.
yet she have 4th saturn and its said to be the worst house for saturn, i truly believe that they (the siblings) channel their bad mental experiences that they had as a child to write her music because her 12th moon is ruled by 4th saturn, and a Capricorn moon is also said to experience mental anxiety and problems.
this time she might actually feel separated from the art but the art, once again, truly mimics the inside of our hearts.
so as we can see in order to heal, these two mulas use their pain and transform into art and by doing this they liberate their heads from the pain and eventually, even if takes long they find some kind of peace.
in 2021, billie launched her album called "Happier Than Ever" and this time the inspiration was the covid 19.
this time billie was more, just like the rest of the world, isolated and said that the album creation felt very natural and she also mentioned that was able to feel more confident on her work.
she further adds that self-reflection was the biggest muse behind the record and she mentioned that wrote the track "male fantasy" by herself which helped her realized some unprocessed feelings she previously had.
and just like gerald, with the help of isolation came the biggest form of inspiration.
END OF PART 1.
hi thank you so much for reading until the end i hope you enjoyed and were able to learn something ;).
please feel free to request any suggestion of themes you would like me to talk about and share you personal feedback :))

VEDIC ASTRO OBSERVATIONS
Part 4
I thought, why not
Editing and finishing this as I have a face mask on
Bharanis are very sensitive, in a very misunderstood way. They're often either dangerously passive and stubborn or fiercely proactive, and this comes from the fact that they can read people well, and are sensitive to the energies around them. They know the importance of sticking to their own convictions/their way. Bharani is the place where you MUST NOT be fooled into submission and gaslighting, no matter who it comes from. It's where all kinds of forces try to enforce influence on you, right when you are so aware of your true calling/desire(s). That's why this nakshatra is so prominent in the charts of great philosophers and thinkers. They are defensive and secretive, but it all comes from the necessity to protect their truth, which is their life, and everything to them. Do not mistake their defensiveness as childish defiance. They know the pain of giving up and the strength it requires to stand up to themselves.
I said this multiple times, and I'm saying at again: ketu is VERY IMPORTANT. look at your ketu nakshatra and just take it in for a sec. Its infulence is on everything. Since you can rarely attribute that infulence on a specific thing in a person, it's often overlooked, but once you start looking at ketu in charts and apply it to the native/their life, you cannot unsee it. Also, when you are being natural, when life feels effortless and when you don't think a lot, oftentimes the appearance of your ketu will come to the surface, i mean, you'll be able to see it physically. Ik I don't look like my ketu nakshatra at first glance but boy do i see it when I look in the mirror, and I like it a lot. Oftentimes, as I've noticed, people love their ketu.
Your true essence, I think, is moon+ketu(very personal and mostly private but extremely important. They color the most of your inner world), then sun+ascendant(your way of dealing with the world, also very important) and atmakaraka+amatyakaraka(your path to yourself). Your chart ruler(ruling planet of your rising sign) is kind of separate but still visible, and it colors the whole chart, but unlike ketu, it's more on the surface and more visible in the native's behavior. I'm not saying you should disregard other placements, but this is how I see them.
Some nakshatras that I think are most prone to agitation/reactiveness(in order of their appearance from Ashwini to Revati, not ranked): Ardra, Ashlesha, Chitra, Vishakha, Purva Ashadha(?), Dhanishta.
In contrast, most stoic and hard to get a reaction out of: Pushya, Magha, Purva Phalguni, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha, Shatabhisha, Uttara Bhadrapada.
Ketu in Ashlesha is dangerous like I know it personally(I don't have it tho). Ketu, unless exalted and/or developed by the native(conciously or subconciously) is mostly in a state of ignorance. Ashlesha is, dare I say, the most manipulative placement, but the tragedy is that Ashlesha natives kinda need it, that's what they know. It's the torturous place of attachments and distance and forced attachments and forced distance, of abuse and healing and alertness on a deeply nervous and emotional level. Ketu, the planet of raw, dangerously powerful stored energy and experience in a place like that can be horrible, for both the native and the people around them, especially if the native is unaware of their behavior.
Uttara Phalgunis can be taken for granted by others, especially people they're close to, but those people still refuse to let the U. Phalguni native go. They're so "Sunny" and supportive that some people refuse to take them seriously. The thing with Sun nakshatras though is that they have inner strength and are in no way naive, they just have trust because they trust themselves and know and are proud of their convictions. U. Phalgunis' convictions almost always include support and loyalty to people close to them/dear to their heart, but unfortunately, not everyone can appreciate that for what it is and pass it off as naivety. Mostly it comes from people who value manipulation, which Uttara Phalgunis hate. Uttara Phalguni women/girls especially can be seen as "good girls" at first glance, or as "vanilla", but in reality, it's based on their inner strength and trust in themselves. Ik this sounds biased, that's just because it's personal and I know many examples of it, mine and others. This one's for the "good" ones.
Interesting thing I've noticed: Krittikas, despite being a Sun nakshatra, have a reputation of being "aggressive"? I would not say they're aggressive, but they can be more reactive than other sun nakshatras. Krittika starts in Aries(ram), which is ruled by the active Mars. It's yoni animal is a sheep/goat/ram(sources vary). I mean, its essence is that of fire, and its meaning is "to cut", so, they're kind of aggressive about their individuality/selectivity/. They're aggressively stoic, if that makes sense.
To expand on the point above, a great way to understand nakshatras is to view their ruling planet as what is given/what we have, and the rashi(s) that it's in as what is done with it. So, for example, if Bharani is about protecting/defending(mars/aries) beauty, life and love(Venus), Mrigashira(the Taurus part) is about beautifying/enjoying(passive venus/taurus) pursuit/defiance(Mars). You can see how different those are, especially because a planet ruling a rashi is not the same as a planet ruling a nakshatra, they manifest slightly differently.
Another great way to understand nakshatras is to learn their mythology. I am very well aware that different sources say different things, and ik it's more tiring than rewarding to go from site to site but you can take little details that are consistent and stick to them. For example, Revati's god Pushan is known as the one who guides, who nourishes, but he's the nourishing form of a Sun god. So now you see that Revati is solar in nature, rather than Saturnian(its opposite). It's all about association and how different associations relate to each other. I think this kind of approach is better than relying on other people's opinions and observations.
So, this is all I guess?
Interact pleaseeeeeeeeee 😩💕 esp reblog and comment

Rahu/Ketu stars and The Air/ Fire Signs: A Philosophical Perspective 🐍🍂
Why are all the Ketu ruled stars in Fire signs alone? 🐍🔥
The three Ketu ruled stars-Ashwini, Magha and Mula are present in Aries, Leo and Sagittarius respectively, all of which are Fire signs.
What do we think when we imagine Fire? Fire is something that burns and destroys. Likewise, Ketu destroys our ego, materialistic desires and needs for worldly attachments. Detachment is the only way to enlightenment and enlightenment is the key to liberation.
Fire is the ultimate END. Ketu teaches that the only END of a soul is liberation and not death itself. Rebirth is a soul having karmic baggage.
Why are all the Rahu ruled stars in Air Signs alone? 🐍🌬
The three Rahu ruled stars- Ardra, Swati and Shatabisha are present in Gemini, Libra and Aquarius respectively, all of which are Air signs.
Air is something that doesn't want to settle, constantly moving and spreading everywhere. Likewise, Rahu creates unrealistic desires, high ambition, always on the move to do this and that, desire to move abroad, lack of commitments and strong sense of independence.
This doesn't mean that the air zodiac signs have these qualities, there are the traits of Rahu and this post is more of a philosophical perspective of why the shadow planets chose the elements for their stars.
This is my own theory/thoughts, if you have different perspectives or would like to add more points, I'm happy to discuss in the comments or in asks. I'm as excited as this cat here! 👇😃🤩
Let's Learn and Grow Together!💅💋
With Love-Yashi ❤⚡

The best Rahu-Ketu (platonic) interactions are seen in Jackie and Shauna from Yellowjackets & Joey and Audrey from Dawson's Creek!
Typically in such a dynamic on TV, the most glamorous in appearance is the Rahuvian whose personality is toned up as they usually have an intense craving for life and fun; while the Ketuvian's appearance is toned down and they're the grounded and quiet one of the two — the cynic. The Rahuvian brings life to the Ketuvian, and yes there's the typical 'dragging my best friend to parties she hates' vibe going on there too.
The Ketuvian knows the Rahuvian's core self, taking away all the superficiality that others may only see and being to see their truth. It's a very grounding yet lively back-&-forth relationship. The nodes are always drawn to each other and it can be beautiful to watch in stories! And finding out the actors have nodal-contact ESPECIALLY an axis being thrown in there too.

Weakened Moon and the Rise of the "Dark Femininity"
Feminine energy is a subtle and powerful force that exists within all of us, representing the yin principle — receptive, intuitive, emotional and creative. It manifests itself through empathy, self-care, sensuality and connection with emotions. The Moon is responsible for activating these feminine powers as it is the great symbol of the most feminine planet in the zodiac. Each week she is in a phase, just like women. The Moon does not have a constant energy like the Sun (symbol of masculine energy). The Sun is God and the Moon is the Goddess, the Sun is spirit and the Moon is the creative force, the Sun is Shiva and the Moon is Shakti. Together they represent a great and primordial duality of male and female. The Moon is the divine mind (that's why in Vedic astrology its sign is the lunar) which includes emotion and feelings, the consciousness that reflects on things). The mind is dependent, reflective and conditioned to consciousness. The Moon shows how we relate to others, our social consciousness. While the sun represents individuality, the Moon indicates our personality. When afflicted, she may show personality disturbances in relation to other people or similar symptoms and emotional disturbances. A Moon with nakshatras that harmonize with your energy can give a sensitivity to human feelings, a social awareness and a need to exchange emotions. It makes our feelings recognized and shared with others. The Moon is everyone's friend, it has our popularity, social status and ability to influence mass.
As very sensitive and changeable, the Moon can be easily influenced and delight in other planetary energies. When strong, the Moon can have the same prominence as the Sun and can shine like it. When the Moon is in a Leo or solar nakshatra, there is a combination of a great leader who is open to people's needs. When combined with Venus, it can have intellectuality from various fields of knowledge accompanied by artistic gifts and spiritual devotion. Saturn can darken you, depress you or give you detachment. Rahu can "fog" or cause loss of mind power. This is because the Moon has the ability to become whatever influences it. Therefore, some nakshatras are responsible for "destroying" and not cooperating with this pure feminine energy that the Moon possesses and turns it into something more destructible and obscure, better known today as the Dark Femininity side.
The concept of "Dark Femininity" refers to a powerful and often repressed aspect of feminine energy, characterized by attributes such as mystery, intensity, inner strength, control, deep sensuality, dark intuition, and the capacity for transformation and rebirth. Unlike traditional feminine energy, which is often associated with softness, receptivity and nurturing, dark feminine involves more hidden, deep and even destructive aspects of the psyche. This energy is related to the acceptance of inner shadows, the ability to navigate emotions such as pain, anger, loss and the destruction of old structures to be reborn stronger. Lilith in mythology and the archetype of the Goddess Kali in Hindu tradition are examples of this dark feminine force. Dark Femininity is a concept that combines sensuality and self-empowerment, it is part of trends on social media and films that have been popular and placed in reality in a distorted way. Dark Femininity is considered "the shadow side of the feminine", which includes characteristics that are suppressed in the face of social expectations. Aesthetically, Dark Femininity is an "energy" that is capable of being more assertive, being fearless, being mysterious, being seductive, embracing your inner wisdom and instincts, acting with intention and with magnetic confidence, being firm in your decisions and among others behaviors. Dark Femininity went viral on social media as an aesthetic that understands the opposite side of the feminine. Combining this phenomenon with astrology, the Dark Femininity is best known as a suppression of the divine feminine, but today this archetype is more associated with the process of healing, transformation and integration of personal shadows, rather than just the dark side of emotions and behaviors. For this energy to ascend, the primary energy of the feminine (the Moon) must be contained, weak, debilitated. So, the Dark Femininity, which previously had no name, is much more than an aesthetic of wearing black and being a Femme Fatale, Meneater, Bombsheell and among other stereotypes of non-submissive women.
When the Moon is in the 3rd and 10th degrees of Scorpio, a sign ruled by Mars and Rahu, associated with transformation, emotional intensity, mysteries, fears and extreme situations, there is an incompatibility between the soft nurturing emotional nature of the Moon and the turbulent Scorpio. The Moon needs peace and stability to thrive and in Scorpio it feels overwhelmed by intensity and trauma, which can generate emotional instability and a feeling of vulnerability. The processes of transformation and rebirth are also harmful to the Moon, so she feels uncomfortable as if she is always in an emotional crisis or transition. The need for control when the Moon is in Scorpio (especially in Anurhadha, which is ruled by Saturn) can generate conflicts and other complications in social interactions. Although people with the Moon in Scorpio may have a keen intuition due to their high connection with the unconscious, this ability can be overshadowed due to its intensity. This makes it difficult to make clear judgment and make impulsive decisions, especially in emotional situations. Vishakha in its final portion begins to feel this debilitation, as we are leaving Libra (ruled by Venus, a planet in harmony with the Moon). This nakshatra governs the balance between light and shadow and is aimed at ambition that faces internal conflicts. The Dark Feminine is accessed through a deep search for personal power and independence that is often accompanied by challenges in relationships and feelings. Vishakha connects the dark femininity through the desire for transformation and evolution, sometimes needing to face inner shadows: such as jealousy, possessiveness and obsession. This forces the native to confront their darker side to achieve emotional and spiritual prosperity. Anuradha in its initial up to the 10th degree is where the main weakening of the Moon occurs, however it can begin to recover as soon as it moves to higher degrees. This nakshatra governs loyalty and devotion and its access to the dark feminine is more intuitive and emotional. Anuradha, ruled by Saturn, has a strong connection with the feminine archetype that sacrifices and transforms itself through devotion. The femininity dark side emerges when these qualities are tested by situations involving loss and disappointment. Here, the dark feminine is accessed by accepting pain, overcoming limits and the ability to be reborn stronger after emotional and relational crises. There is immense power in embracing suffering as part of the spiritual journey, which deepens the dark femininity. Contrary to what many think and would like, the Moon in Jyeshtha is no longer considered debilitated, that is, they do not embrace the Dark Feminine side, as this nakshatra governs superiority and control over the environment, which makes it more associated with mastery. emotional and spiritual than to the dark feminine archetype in its narrowest sense. It is associated more with the responsibility and protection of the divine feminine.
So it is also believed that all nakshatras ruled by Mercury exude the Dark Femininity vibe, but this does not occur. They are often associated with the archetype for their mystical, occult and complex characteristics, but they can no longer be seen exclusively as representatives of this archetype for some reasons linked to the most correct interpretation and evolution of Vedic astrology. I made maps of several people who had Revati and especially Ashlesha and Jyeshtha and they don't behave the same as Dark Femininity. A person already came to my Twitter and told me that he did not identify with his rashi Ashlesha because of the stereotypes recorded in this nakshatra. Let's agree that these cannot harm the lunar energy, on the contrary, they are constantly using the emotional (moon) and intellect (mercury). In Ashlesha there is deep psychological understanding and it is obvious that natives of this nakshatra are exalted in the Moon, as it is a nakshatra that belongs to the sign of Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon itself. Ashlesha represents the feminine archetype of hidden strength. Despite connotations of mystery and control, it also symbolizes deep healing and transformation through "emotional poison". The concept of dark feminine goes beyond manipulation and control, to include a feminine energy that heals through facing one's own shadows, a more evolutionary and integrative quality of Ashlesha. Women with the Moon in Jyeshtha often access their feminine by taking control of situations and becoming figures of influence. When the Moon is in a nakshatra ruled by Mercury, there is no impediment to accessing the primary feminine energy, what happens is that they usually tend to be more controlling and end up suppressing feelings and emotions, since we are also talking about Mercury and so this mind has the power to control the Moon's emotions, but is not able to suppress its feminine energy. Therefore, the reason why these nakshatras may no longer be considered exclusively representatives of the dark feminine lies in a broader and more complex interpretation of the archetype. It is no longer about the dark side of femininity energies, but how these energies can be transformed, healed and used for spiritual and emotional evolution.
And when does the Moon meet Rahu? Rahu is a shadow planet that is associated with material ambitions and karmic influences. Whether the Moon has Rahu nakshatras or is in conjunction with this planet, there can be emotional upheaval and internal conflicts that can cause insecurities and desires. When Rahu associates with the Moon, it brings mental confusion, intense desires and disconnections with reality, bringing a layer of emotional restlessness, distorting emotional clarity and creating a constant search for satisfaction that is often difficult to achieve. The Moon represents our emotional security, and when Rahu influences, the native may have a distorted self-image. There may be deep insecurity and difficulty understanding your own emotions. Ardra has a destructive and tempestuous energy. When the Moon is in Ardra, the person can feel intense emotions, drastic changes in mood and a certain emotional instability. This energy can generate a feeling of anger or internal frustration, which makes it difficult for a person to connect smoothly and fluidly with their feminine energy. Ardra brings an energy of renewal through destruction, which can make it difficult to connect with the feminine side that seeks harmony and nourishment. Women with the Moon in Ardra access their dark femininity by navigating intense emotions such as anger, sadness and frustration, using these forces as agents of transformation and growth. Ardra represents the feminine side that embraces pain and chaos as tools to find clarity and renewal. Just like a storm, they bring destruction, but also the opportunity for reconstruction. Shatabhisha, ruled by Rahu, is a mysterious nakshatra, associated with isolation and emotional detachment. When the Moon is here, there can be a strong tendency toward emotional isolation or an excessive quest for independence, which can suppress the need for intimacy, connection, and nurturing. This influence makes it difficult to express the softness and receptivity typical of feminine energy, as the person may feel that they need to maintain their autonomy and control their emotions. The woman with the Moon in Shatabhisha can manifest her dark femininity through her connection with the invisible, healing herself and others with hidden wisdom. Shatabhisha deals with secrets and mysteries, representing the mystical healer who hides in the shadows but holds a profound power of transformation. This nakshatra embodies dark wisdom and healing through unconventional or occult methods.
The Moon with a connection to Saturn (planet and sign) can also give a strong connection with the dark femininity, especially in terms of emotional depth, psychological challenges and internal transformation processes. This combination brings insight and experiences of suffering or restriction that shape the darker side of the psyche. Saturn represents limits, restrictions and difficult lessons. When in contact with the Moon, which governs emotions, the subconscious mind and intuition, Saturn can bring a heavier, more serious and introspective emotional nature, forcing the individual to confront their shadows. This creates a scenario in which the feminine, represented by the Moon, has to deal with the limitations of Saturn. This combination can generate a feminine energy that faces difficulties, emotional isolation and even loneliness, but finds strength in the midst of these challenges. The dark femininity appears as an internal resilience, an ability to face emotional pain and transform it into wisdom. When Saturn influences the Moon, emotions are forced to mature and the individual may feel a tendency to suppress their feelings. This emotional comfort is a characteristic of the dark feminine, which involves recognition and acceptance of pain and shadow. The dark femininity can be activated here as a deep healing process through emotional darkness and the strength of not showing off emotionally, but which has a strong base rooted in difficult experiences. As Saturn rules time, the Moon with Saturn brings wisdom of life stages and emotional cycles. The dark Femininity, in this case, is not something to be avoided, but rather something that is part of the natural cycle of life. Saturn teaches emotional transformation and encounters with the shadow are inevitable and necessary for growth. The dark feminine can be activated during these cycles of loss, introspection and renewal.

The Astrology of Appearance pt 3
check out part 1 and part 2
MOON (eyes)
in my previous post i had mentioned how Moon dominant women tend to have medium to large protruding eyes and often have heavy eyelids as well. here are some more examples.
(L to R)
Alexandra Daddario- Rohini Moon
Billie Eilish- Shravana Moon
Deepika Padukone- Shravana Rising
Thora Birch- Hasta Moon
(L to R)
Natassja Kinski- Shravana Sun
Sobhita Dhulipala- Rohini Sun & stellium
Jihyo- Shravana Sun
Anncy Twinkle- Shravana Sun
SUN (eyes)
the sun is specifically associated with the right eye but its been hard for me to find examples of celebrities with one prominent eye lmao 😭so ill just tell you about the appearance of the eyes of solar natives in general. Solar eyes are the most easy to identify because they're usually the smallest/narrowest. these natives have small, long, narrow eyes with hooded eyelids/no eyelid space ( they don't have "double eyelids").
(L to R)
Jennie- Uttarashada Sun
Emily Deschanel- Krittika Moon
Amber Heard- Uttaraphalguni Moon
Ornella Muti- Uttaraphalguni Moon
(L to R)
Miranda Cosgrove- Krittika Sun
Sade- Uttarashada Sun
Aaliyah- Uttarashada Sun
Lauren Bacall-Uttaraphalguni Sun
KETU (head shape)
Whilst Ketu is generally associated with torso/stomach, in my observations I have noticed how many Ketu natives have an oblong or oval shaped face and forehead with their hair framing their face in a similar way. I would say Ketu ruled women have the longest face shapes.
(L to R)
Jennifer Beals- Ashwini rising
Billie Eilish- Mula Sun
Kat Dennings- Magha Moon
Victoria Beckham- Ashwini Sun
(L to R)
Emmy Rossum- Mula Moon
Anjelica Huston- Mula rising
Ellie Goulding- Mula Moon
Nicole Scherzinger- Ashwini Moon
Jessica Jung- Ashwini Sun & Venus with Magha Ketu
RAHU (face shape)
I have noticed that most Rahuvian women tend to have small round ish faces with a very small chin. They have soft faces and short chins. Their faces are horizontally little wide but very short and have tapered chins.
(L to R)
Claudia Schiffer- Swati Rising
Princess Diana- Ardra Sun
Mia Wasikowska- Swati Sun
Audrey Hepburn- Shatabhisha Moon
Charli XcX- Ardra Rising

VEDIC ASTROLOGY OBSERVATIONS #6
by yours truly, veronicawildest
• Saturnian rashi (Sidereal Capricorn and Aquarius) knows how to handle fame. Yes, there are struggles (just like their mental health), but no matter what they do, people love them, and that will leave a mark on the minds of the audience. They are the type of people who, even though they are dead, are still known. The music they made is still being played, and movies with them in them, etc.
Sidenote: It can also be noticed that usually, when celebrities become famous, based on the mahadasha, no matter what planet is Shravana, as long as your mahadasha is Shravana, there is a high possibility that you will become famous. For example, if your current mahadasha is Shravana (it doesn't matter what the antardasha is), there is a higher chance you will be famous.
Celebrity example: Miley Cyrus (she gained fame when she was in Hannah Montana).
•The former is so ironic that you have acquaintances who are Shatabisha, but you only know them by name. They are secretive (more secretive than other Sidereal Scorpios). They are better known by the rumors about them than by their real identity (what do they really do?). This explanation is the effect of the height of Rahu (this is the final nakshatra of Rahu).
• I just realized that Princess Diana has a lot of similarities with Marilyn Monroe. Both were born on the 1st of the month. They are also in the same nakshatra (Dhanista). They remain famous even though they are deceased. If you notice, their Arudha lagna has Mars influence.
• Sidereal Cancer (Pushya and Ashlesha) is really overhated. I know that some reading this might ask, "Why did you include Pushya?" But there is too! They are definitely included in the hate, not just Ashlesha. Ashlesha is more self-centered compared to Pushya, so people only notice that Ashlesha ends up being hated, which is not the case. Most likely, Pushya Sun (the bashers will really flock to them).
• Saturn nakshatras are not for the weak. Even if it is said that Pushya's deity lord is Brihaspati, the guru will not condone your mistakes. You will truly experience lessons and hardships. Additionally, Saturn rules laziness. I don't know where the "hardworking" stereotype of Saturn comes from, because it's a slow-moving planet.
• Apart from Jyestha, Chitra and Vishakha nakshatras are envied by most. The deities of Vishakha are Indra (lord of Jyestha) and Agni (lord of Krittika).
The difference between Chitra and Jyestha is that Chitra deliberately provokes others (to annoy them), while Jyestha, yes, they also do that, but there is a subconscious factor. It is not their intention to provoke jealousy in others. The Jyestha that I know personally are happy-go-lucky. They even like to joke (heavily into memes) and are also very sociable. They embody typical Western Sagittarius traits like that.
• Most of the Purva Phalguni (including Jyeshthas) like to stay up late; they have big eye bags.
• The pairing I see most is Mars Vimshottari Nakshatra and Bharani (Sun/Moon). For example, Bill Burry and his wife, as well as a classmate who has a girlfriend that is a Bharani Moon. The pattern is also the same: Mrigashira Sun for the guys and Bharani Moon for the girls.
• I just noticed that Uttara Phalguni boys (or any Sun-ruled nakshatra) criticize a lot of women, but they also love attention from women. The best example of this is Rhino from LoveLiveServe.
The positive attributes that I noticed in Sun-ruled nakshatra men are their value for friendship. They value friendship a lot. Boys support boys.
• Krittika is all about survival. What I mean is the type where you are stranded on an island and don't know what is essential to do; Krittika is all about that. The one who can build a house is like a civilization. This is not the type like in Ketu nakshatra that can kill and conquer animals.
• Ardra, Mrigashira, and Hasta are the best proof of the "girl's girl" motto. They really love their friends. Yes, the rest of them have a mean streak, but they are the nakshatras that stand up for being a "girl's girl" and are really into women's empowerment, not just clout. They are the type that will really fight and rally for women's rights and also fight against injustices related to women. Mula women and Krittika nakshatra women too, but in a lesbian way.
• I can say that Rahuvians are romantic, just mixed with an obsession/crazy factor, especially in Arda and Swati nakshatras—especially Swati.
In Swati, it's really an obsession, which is ironic since they are all about freedom. It becomes mixed with craziness when it comes to love.
In Arda nakshatra, they tend to be clingy and always want to be together (this is only based on my acquaintances, and I have noticed this). That's why they are also prone to heartbreaks related to their romantic lives, as they have high expectations when it comes to romantic relationships.

The Nakshatra Colors
In Astrology, every Nakshatra has a color which it is associated with. The color of the Nakshatra works in two primary ways. Internally and externally. This article piece focused on the Internal.
On an internal level, the color of the Nakshatra has a psychological effect. According to color theory every hue, shade, and tone affects the spirit and consciousness. Every Nakshatra color internally takes on the psychological traits of color, integrating into the consciousness and personality.
The colors of Nakshatras internally are best applied to the Nakshatra placement of the Sun, Moon, Rahu, and Ketu. This is because all 4 of these planets relate directly to the internal consciousness.
The Traits of a Nakshatra Color brings the following traits into the inner self or personality:
