Pines Family Blood Type
So, you know how in my neck of the woods of the USA, people have a fixation over Sun/Star/Moon signs and horoscopes?
Well, it's a bit different over at the land of the rising sun, Japan. For them, it's your blood type.
So I wanna tackle that with the Pines Family twins.
I'm sure someone may ask why I don't do Zodiac signs. Well, that's because it's more concrete for the two sets of twins. Not only, but because of their nature as twins, they're gonna have the same Zodiac signs. (Dipper and Mabel is Virgo, Stan and Ford is Gemini *because of course it is*)
Blood types, on the other hand, are a different story. Two siblings, even when they are twins, can have different blood types. Now, while this is a possibility in fraternal twins like Dipper and Mabel, its extremely rare in identical twins. However, considering that Ford was born with polydactyly, a genetic deformity, and Stan didn't, who's to say that they can't have different blood types?
I will go off the record to say that, this doesn't have to be the case (each Pines having completely different blood types), I'm just doing this to have fun.
Plus, looking into this actually helps me pick out which blood type I can give the characters instead of just randomly picking one like a normal person because I like to give myself a hard time!
The Ketsueki-Gata Theory as it's called doesn't factor in the 'positive'/'negative' part of the blood types, so I won't add that in. Also, the choices I make aren't gonna be 100%. At least, to me it isn't. Just to see which blood type fits the character the most. Even then, I struggled to see who fit which type.
Where I got the information is in this link
First off, Type A:
And this fits one Dipper Pines to me.
Next, Type B:
After reading all of that, I knew that Type B would fit Mabel like a flippin' glove.
Now, the next two (O and AB) were actually a bit tricky because I can see Stan and Ford being either. However, a lot of the times (as far as I know with the animes I've watched), characters with type AB are usually the genius type. Not to say that Stan isn't, but-
Type AB
I honestly feel that this blood type fits Ford better.
Type O
By process of elimination, and the fact that there are a lot of traits here that fit Stan to a 'T', this type goes to Stanley Pines!
As I had said earlier, I'm not married to the idea that these are their blood types. It was just for fun.
What do you guys think?

With Persona 3 and Nocturne being remastered, It would be absolutely fantastic if Digital Devil Saga and Raidou Kuzunoha came out again too. I enjoyed watching the movies, and think I would really enjoy playing them, particularly the former. The Later, however, is part of a lore I am really enjoying learning about, and that is Devil Summoners.
The series as we know it started with the invention of the COMP, by Akemi Nakajima- a Bishōnen programer and amature magician- back in Digital Devil Megami Tensei story, a game based on novels by Aya Nishitani. Check out Marsh if you want to learn more about them.
youtube
youtube
But back to devil summoners, the most known is Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th, of the Kuzunoha clan, and the protagonist of the Raidou Kuzunoha games. The Kuzunoha clan is a clan of devil summoners based on the legend of Kuzunoha in Japan.
"Kuzunoha is the name of a popular fox spirit of Japanese folklore, and is closely connected to the legends surrounding famed Onmyōdō Abe no Seimei. In the legend, the father of Seimei, Abe no Yasuno was visiting a shrine in Shinoda when he came across a hunter who had trapped a white fox in order to take its liver to sell as medicine. Abe no Yasuno fought off the hunter and saved the white fox, but not before sustaining serious injuries to himself. In the aftermath, he is saved by a mysterious, enchanting woman named Kuzunoha and the two eventually fall in love and get married.
Later, Kuzunoha gave birth to Abe no Seimei, who was born with strange powers, and by the age of five, he was said to be able to to see and command lesser Oni. One day, when Abe no Seimei was still a child, he noticed his mother possessed a fox's tail under her kimono. Realizing her disguise had been found out, she fled her home and returned to Shinoda; her husband and son pursued her and she revealed she was the very same white fox that Abe no Yasuno had saved many years ago. Kuzunoha gives her son a special book that will allow him to speak with beasts, and bids farewell to her family, never to be seen again. Her famous farewell poem can be found on a silk parchment in the Inari Shrine in Izumi."
So in the Megami Tensei overall lore, naturally that forms the basis of a clan of devil summoners who exist long before COMPS become a thing. This is also a history where the Taisho era lasted longer than IRL.
Also Hirasaki City area was once part of a small country that fought the Yamato dynasty off with magic and demons, had ties to China, and defeated the Yamato army, but lost in the long run, whereupon the queens only daughter was captured, tortured, and executed in a cruel manor, and her spirit was so angry it needed to be sealed for safety.
And then there's whatever is going on with Sumaru that has students in school during July, but the rumors coming true isn't new (I'd guess ten years but an exact timeline is hard to pin), and that's before the city was retconned by rumors to have a history involving things like a local princess, as of The EP timeline from which the other persona games follow.
It's also a reality where SMT 1 was averted, and instead If timeline events happened. So there are people who are born naturally capable of using magic (such as law and chaos hero), and a highschool student brought his school into an alternate dimension, filled with demons, true death was canceled, and he became ruler. Two students then proceeded to fight their way through said world and defeat him to get back to the human world.
The history students are screaming. The devil summoner games have connections to the persona games, and the crossover brings me joy. The tech tree evolution is hilariously wack.
So that all said, let's talk about Summoners, facts, extrapolation, and headcanons. Starting with Showing up in multiple games. (Soul hackers 2 not included as I have not yet interacted)
Madame Ginko:- the overseer of the Kuzunoha clan, and the most respectfully treated trans person in the series, the owner of Club Cretaceous (understandably has a lot of summoners), and has preference for Dragon Demons, according to Demikids.
In spite of her showing up the most of anyone on this list, I don't really have a lot of headcanons for her really. I heard she was a bodyswapper, and according to her bio her hobby is moon watching, and favorite food is Oden. Her blood type is Type A, which in Japan does give personality indication.
Maybe later I'll do a post on blood types and Megaten universe characters who share that blood type.
Has a bodyguard in the form of Utsumi Kunihiko, blood type AB, who likes pizza and breeding tropical fish.
Kinap:- first showing up in Devil Summoners as a user of the DDS-Net who gives you hints and hacks into a museum sincerity system for you.
In Soul Hackers, Kinap is probably not the same being as last time, but who knows, as he is never shown on screen. Spoilers ahead for plot points in Devil summoner soul hackers.
In mythology:- "In Mi'kmaq folklore, a Kinap is a mortal human gifted with uncanny physical strength and other powers. In many legends, a Kinap's power manifests as a child, and he either becomes a child-hero or dies young by using too much of his strength too early. In other legends, an adult Kinap features as a mortal hero slaying a terrible monster or leading the other Micmac men into battle. ."
He sends the protagonist on vision quests throughout the game. Apparently Kinap was once a Shaman who tamed Manitou, and proceeded to use him in battles to be Victorious in wars, and used the slain foes as sacrifices, to grow Manitou stronger.
Then one day he realized "oh snap. Feeding it all these souls might make it too strong and I will lose control one day." So he took preventive action and sealed Manitou away. He also created Nemissa out of a fragment of his soul, but for her to be effective, she would need to understand humans. Rather than introduce her to some humans he knew then, he sealed her and abandoned his mortal form to watch over them. And possibly Devil Summoners Protagonist IDK. Obviously that goes super well, lol.
Let's deffine Manitou :- " Manitou is the belief of Algonquians meaning “mysterious being,” or simply “mystery”. It is an Algonquian word that represents the unknown power of life and the universe. Common among the indigenous peoples of North America, it is related to the concept of mana, a personal supernatural force, and connected to the worship of the sun. A supernatural force that according to an Algonquian belief permeates the natural world.
Manitou is universal and manifests everywhere: the environment, events, organisms, etc. When the world was created, Aashaa monetoo meaning the “good spirit” or “great spirit”, gave the land to the indigenous peoples, specifically to Algonquian-speaking ethnic group indigenous Shawnee. In some Algonquian traditions, it was also called Gitche Manitou.
Native Americans acknowledge traditional healers and spiritual leaders who used manitou to see the future, heal illness, and change the weather. Ojibwe traditional healers used their spiritual connection to cure patients since the illness was believed to be caused by spirits and magic. To communicate with spirits and influence manitou, a healer would sing, dance, and drum beats to enter a trance. They sometimes also used hallucinogens to make a connection. For non-healers, they interacted with spirits by embarking upon a “vision quest,” by means of hallucinogens, fasting, praying, and by isolating themselves from society. A person who underwent vision quests would see objects or animals and also heard voices that would become later on as his or her guardian spirit.
In tribes that practice shamanistic rituals, manitous are connected to an inanimate object or animals to achieve the desired effect. A buffalo manitous for a successful hunt or plant manitous may be connected for healing. It involved the belief that shamans had the power to communicate with spirits, heal the sick, and help bring souls of the dead to the afterlife.
The early Native Americans in Illinois believed that each person has his own god, which they call their Manitou. It could come in a form of a bird, serpent, or other similar things, of which they have dreamed while sleeping. These manitous were considered as a lucky token. For war, manitous came in the form of species of birds, including falcons, crows, ducks, swallows, and parakeets. Representations such as skin or feathers of their manitous were displayed on their homes to ask for guidance and power when they went for fishing, hunting, or war.
As soon as adolescents became aware, it was expected that young adults start their vision quest in the wilderness. To trigger a manitou in a dream, the young adults went fasting without food and water for up to seven days. A manitou could take the form of a bear, wolf, bison, mountain lion, deer, bobcat, bird, or some other animal. "
What does the megaten wiki say about Manitou?
"Originally Manitou was a great spirit of the land found in North America, but Kinap utilized Manitou as a weapon in ancient times. Contact with mankind and their souls threatened to turn the peaceful mindless force into an entity of destruction. Kinap then sealed Manitou away and created Nemissa from Manitou to bring death to it should it ever be awakened and become a force of destruction.
The Phantom Society and Kadokura find the entity, and make their own plans to give it the souls of mankind for their own agendas. Manitou is also capable of feeding on the souls of demons, as shown by the slain Godly soul that it gains power from. "
It kind of sounds like Manitou should have been the one sending you on Vision quests, and generally working with Kinap. They have just sort of used Manitou as a buzzword. Nemissa Is a legend of a star goddess who seduces a hunter.
But yeah, they are more used as cool names, not particularly respectfully researched or portrayed use of legends from native people. I like Nemissa as a character, but as far as mythology goes, she's an OC with a legend based name.
If they wanted a native legend that actually ate souls, they could go for Nalusa Chito, assuming they did their research with cultural consultants of the mythology they are inspired from and portray it respectfully.
" Nalusa Chito, also known as a Impa Shilup, was the soul-eater, a great black beingIf individuals allowed evil thoughts or depression to enter their minds, Impa Shilup would creep inside them and eat their souls. "
Don't speak their names.

As an antagonist, it could probably suit the cyberpunk setting of the time pretty well.
"Cyberpunk narratives often incorporate a sense of hopelessness or nihilism, typically featuring a gritty and violent backdrop, with crime, artificial intelligence, class uprising, governmental and corporate corruption, anarchy, gang warfare, and transhumanism all being central themes. The range is broad but the combination of these themes in the cyberpunk aesthetic is often used to convey deeper meanings and commentate on modern society and sometimes predictions of future society."
Soul hackers was first published in 1997, during Japan's lost decade, the name for its economic crisis.

I think ending the game by defeating a soul eating depression monster , especially during Japan's lost decade would have been a hopeful ending to the game. A way of saying "maybe it does suck now, but we can turn it around"
Oh wow, I've wandered pretty off topic. I'll end this one here, and come back and talk about Rei, and other characters later.

Yuno and Ketsueki-gata
(character analysis, relationships and short vampire parallels)
In the first voice drama, when Es asks Yuno some information about her, she starts telling many details, that, at first sight, seem to be a scene of amusement, to highlight Yuno's bubbly facade.
"Es: Milgram exists to reveal the crimes of you, prisoners, and to hand down the appropriate judgement. For that reason, talk to me for a bit.
Yuno: Okay! Let’s chat. Let’s chat!
Es: First—
Yuno: Firstly, I should introduce myself or something, right? Yuno Kashiki. Eighteen years old. I’m a high schooler. Born on the 2nd of September, I’m a Virgo. My blood type’s O."
Stating your name, age and current occupation, even the zodiac sign seem quite appropriate when somebody asks you to describe yourself. However, what stuck to me was the blood type. Why something that is used for medical purposes, it's so important that Yuno decided to say it when she talked about herself?
Well, in Japan, many people believe the blood type reveals your personality and relationship compatibility. This is known as Ketsueki-gata and, despite not being scientifically proven, it's used a lot in Japan!
Blood type O - Yuno's personality
"Type O people have been linked to characteristics such as confidence, determination, resilience, and intuition, but they are also supposedly self-centered and unpredictable."
Although, Ketsueki-gata it's not really proven, I think it describes very well Yuno's personality!
Confidence - Yuno feels sure on herself and her thinking, as proven many times. When stating her opinion about Milgram to Es, she calmly explains her reasoning, linking with her dislike for people who judge their peers for not going with the flow, doing things different.
People who intrude in other people's affairs generally do that, because they lack something, out of jealousy. Their low self-esteem needs to be fueled somehow and seeing individuals who have it better, provokes them into commenting and insulting, trying to make others feel bad as well.
Yuno, disliking these type of people, means that she is quietly proud of what she can do and achieve. If she lacks something, she will try to find it and have it (the warmth), without intruding in other people's business or displaying jealousy.
Determination - when Yuno realized that she is being perceived as an innocent and weak girl, it made her upset and disappointed. She never tried to convince Es that they shouldn’t consider her guilty, but when her personality was at stake, Yuno had to take action. Her second MV and VD explain very well her views about how she is considered to be, showcasing her determination to change our opinions.
"Yuno: That’s true. [stretch] Even if I was scorned by you, I would have been okay with being told I wasn’t forgiven. I don’t believe I’m not in the wrong. I’d accept it.
Es: …
Yuno: Despite that, you arbitrarily assumed things about me and sympathized with me. Even though all I did was make a rational decision of my own free will."
Teardrop:
"Caressing me with your “Good girl”
Who needs your self-righteous pardon?"
Resilience - "the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness."
I think we don't give enough credit for how Yuno can keep to be so calm, considering the circumstances. Milgram is a magical prison with lots of weird stuff happening, the biggest concern being the unknown and the mysterious atmosphere this location has. Despite that, from the moment she arrived here, Yuno has never expressed her fears and concerns. She started to analyse every person in the facility, making assumptions of what might happen or what is currently happening.
If in the first trial, Yuno kept her bubbly facade, not only to get along with everyone, but also, because she felt genuinely happy being around them, in the second trial, her intentions has changed. She no longer finds Milgram a promising place to find warmth, trying her hardest to find solutions to escape from it, to go home.
Yuno observing the personalities of the other prisoners:
"Yuno: Hm? I won’t particularly change. Ah, I see, because Haruka changed a lot, right? Ah, men sure do change when they’re with women."
"Yuno: Really? If you ask me, Kotoko is someone I would never want to make my friend, though. She’s the type who picks a conclusion from the very beginning and won’t actually talk with you."
Yuno's assumption of her existence in Milgram prison:
The fact that Yuno questions it, shows that she thought hard about her existence in prison.
Even thought she isn't given an answer, Yuno still manages to find a new information. The fact that Es doesn't know either.
Her response is actually very interesting...
"Hm... If you don't know, then It's fine."
Although, it would have been easier if Es answered her question, Yuno will continue to find information that might prove her assumption. This dialogue feels like Yuno is saying: "It's fine if you don't know, I will continue to search the answer anyway."
Currently, we don't know whether Yuno managed to improve her knowledge about Milgram prison, but I think in trial 3 she will be very interesting! She is a character that adapts very quickly and is capable to stay calm even in the most stressful situations!
Going back to the topic, since I mentioned Yuno's belief that she might not be alive and because we are talking about blood type personality, I think now it's the best time to introduce the vampire parallels! (then I will continue my character analysis!)
"Vampire: a dead person who comes back to life and sucks blood from other people at night"
Yuno who thinks she's dead, came back to life in Milgram. When thinking about her question and her cover song, it really feels like she perceives herself as a vampire. Died and revived in prison, spent her life to find and feed on heat (a parallel for how vampires need blood to survive, while Yuno needs warmth) to warm her cold soul and body.
Her soul -> when she talks with the people she finds interesting/considers her friends; it makes her happy, basically gives her warmth in her heart. Yuno describes how she liked the atmosphere in prison at the beginning of the first trial:
"Yuno: Yes, it was fun! They may be murderers, but they’re interesting people! It puts me at ease, in a way, that we’re all people lacking in something."
Her body -> when she was embraced by the people she worked for, Yuno felt a temporary warmth that made her, for a short while, cheerful.
Moreover, I think it's really interesting that Yuno is the only prisoner who asks for an extra blanket. Having no one to embrace her or hug her leads to Yuno asking for an item that might provide more warmth!
Is there anything you would like to request for?
("Vampires in fiction are almost always colder than they were before they turned. This most likely originates from the fact that vampires are essentially living corpses, or it may be due to evil being cold.")
Also, Yuno gets more warmth at night, the same as how vampires are more active during that time of the day!
Intuition - Yuno uses it a lot during interactions, both in Milgram, but also in her compensated dating. For Yuno to understand quickly the person in front of her, she can't spend time using her logical thinking to analyse their personality. It would take too much time, and it wouldn't be very useful. Yuno senses the vibe that person gives and tries to match them in order to be of their liking.
How do you choose what casual clothes to wear?
Intuition comes from learned experience. Yuno has a lot of knowledge when it comes to how people act and react, depending on the circumstances.
In Milgram, the biggest victim of Yuno's intuition is, funnily enough, Kazui! Every lie and reason behind it doesn't get unnoticed by Yuno!
(1)
"Yuno: Uh-huh, I see, I see…that’s a total lie, right?
Kazui: Haha…Give me a break here. You sure don’t make things easy for people, Kashiki-chan."
(2)
"Yuno: Haha, we both lie, don't we? The difference is the reason for lying. Kazui-san, you lie to protect yourself, because you're important to yourself. For me, no one is particularly important. That includes myself as well."
Self-centered - A person can be self-centered when it comes to work or a field, but the most generous person you have ever seen with the right people. Yuno is both caring and selfish. She cares about Mahiru and constantly helps Shidou into healing her. When it comes to Muu, though, she acts cold. In her birthday timeline post from last year, Yuno tells Muu to celebrate herself, not wanting to bother with her special day, despite being available during that time.
"Mu: Boo, how boring. You seem to be free, you can celebrate for me. Go on, celebrate.
Yuno: Wow, what a pain. I’m reading the atmosphere properly and keeping quiet. Well, you just go and have fun with Haruka. In the corner somewhere so you’re out of everyone’s way."
Moreover, during her VD, she tries her best to make us understand that the reason why she decided to participate in compensated dating is not because of a sad backstory, but for her own selfish needs.
And remember, self-centered is not always a bad trait! It can also mean to be independent and not care about the others' opinions, which, sometimes can be a good thing! Yuno doesn't care about what vote she has, because, at the end of day, it will not change her!
Unpredictable - Yuno, most of the time, is adjusting her personality based on who she is with! In the first VD, she is analysing Es and changes the way she speaks in order to be of their liking!
At first, she is childish and tries to play with Es, who she knows they are younger. When she realizes that Es is actually very mature for their age, Yuno starts to talk about more complicated topics, seeing that the prison guard will be more engaged into their discussion, if they are treated seriously.
Because of Yuno's habit to change her personality, she may come as unpredictable, being hard to read. In the second VD, she speaks with a playful voice for the most part. However, once she tells how the votes given by Es made everything worse and more complicated, she snaps.
Leaving Es speechless...
Relationships
Going to the next section (finally), the relationship between people with blood type O and other blood types!
People of O blood type match well with those with A and B blood type (in most cases, of course!)
Mahiru has blood type B and we know, based on the interactions, that Yuno and her are very good friends at the moment!
Also, Kazui, who has blood type A, is a good match when it comes to personality with Yuno. They both lie, the difference being the reason they are doing it.
However, something really interesting is how for two characters that share the same blood type A, Muu and Kotoko, Yuno expresses a particular dislike to them.
"Type O people are said to especially appear selfish to individuals with Type A blood."
Right now, we don't have information of how Kotoko perceives Yuno. However, we do know that Muu's dislike towards Yuno is mutual, as stated in the interrogation question. The fact that she started to act cold, for her, Yuno may appear more selfish, especially after what she said during her birthday.
Is there a prisoner you aren't fond of?
Dating
Why have I brought up the relationships part? Simple! In Japan, Ketsueki-gata is used in order to find the compatibility of two partners at the early stages of dating!
Considering that Yuno participated in compensated dating, she is very used to this kind of question! That’s why when she first presented herself to Es, Yuno told her blood type: out of habit and to show what kind of person she is!
Ending this with a short interpretation!
Type O can be transfused to any other blood type (A, B, AB). However, patients with blood type O can only receive blood transfusions from other people with blood type O. In a way, it feels like they help themselves, because they can't receive from any other blood type.
I think this highlights Yuno's loneliness and lack of warm. She gives warmth to other people, cares for them (the clients, her friends, Mahiru), but doesn't feel like she receives back the amount of attention and consideration she needs. In Teardrop, the high school Yuno is taking care of cat Yuno, there is no one else beside her. She only has herself to protect her cold and lonely self...
I hope I managed to give a proper and interesting analysis for Yuno's blood type! Considering that this is the month when Halloween is celebrated, I wanted to make something for Yuno that might fit a little in the spooky vibe! Vampires and blood type felt like the best option!
Thank you for reading!
#finally done!! Spent a lot doing this! I hope it will not flop lmao!#milgram#milgram theory#character analysis#blood type personality#milgram yuno#yuno kashiki#thoughts#halloween#milgramtober2023

Analyzing Mikoto's Zodiac
I was looking into this for FOOL's MATE and found a few things that could be of note. His sign is a Libra.
Symbol: The Scales ♎️
A scale weighs good and evil. You can interpret this as Mikoto (good) and John (evil). The scale can also mean justice. A friend pointed this out to me, but John thinks that by killing anyone who’s bothering Mikoto, he’s bringing him justice. This also plays into the fact that each set of prisoners share some traits. This would be the trait that Mikoto shares with Kotoko.
Ruling House: 7th House
The 7th house is the house of collaboration and partnership. This is where you are exposed to other perspectives and are learning how to balance and live within those different, and even opposing, perspectives. This house is where you are allowed the opportunity to learn through the eyes of another. This lines up with some of the tarot cards in MeMe.
Tarot Card: Justice
There's one set of tarot cards that are associated with the zodiac. Since John and Mikoto both have unique cards that represent them, this could be the third card if you want to believe in Trikoto.
Upright: Justice, Karma, Consequence, Accountability, Law, Truth, Honesty, Integrity, Cause and Affect
Reversed: Injustice, Retribution, Dishonesty, Corruption, Dishonesty, Unfairness, Avoiding Accountability
Ketsueki-gata (血液型)
Ketsueki-gata is considered a pseudoscience much like horoscopes. It’s the belief that blood type shapes one’s temperament. The belief is widespread in Japan and other Asian countries. It was first proposed by a Japanese professor in 1930 and started to gain traction in the 70s. Since then, it’s become part of Japanese culture. The only blood types this covers are A, B , AB and O. This can also cause workplace discrimination.
Mikoto's blood type is AB. This blood type is largely viewed as having the characteristics of both type A and type B individuals. These are the traits that apply to Mikoto.
Strengths
Rationality: He has a habit of rationalizing things he doesn't understand (ei, thinking MILGRAM is a TV show).
Creativity: Graphic design is his passion.
Cooperativeness: He goes along with everyone, even if it's something he doesn't want to do or will harm him.
Empathetic: He's a very empathetic person.
Weaknesses
Indecision / Stubbornness: These 2 go hand and hand. He's too stubborn to leave his job but probably has thought about it before, which is where the indecision comes in.
Criticalness: He's very critical of himself and seems to have piss poor self esteem because of it.
Forgetfulness: I mean, it's pretty self explanatory.
Selfishness: His stubbornness can also be seen as selfishness. He wants money to have a good life and own his own company.
Erratic Behavior: I was hesitant to put this here, but he can be seen as erratic. It's a mix of his anxieties and the other prisoners not knowing what is actually going on with him. Not to mention we still don't know who tore up and bit his uniform.
Overall, this represents him as an “outcast” and someone highly unique. This could also be referencing his DID as AB is a combination of A and B.

So I just had a though process of the fact Black Butler basically revealed several bloodtypes that characters have and the personality types they may have
Examples
Lizzie, being a Canopus, is pretty dead on with what I assume many people's first impression of Lizzie in the beginning before we all had a unison cry over her bad-assness in the ship ark
Ciels(both OCiel and RCiel)
Being Sirius is also pretty on the nose with the whole genius bit and even the two-face side of character which he does do naturally
And thanks to this from both @midnight-in-town and @abybweisse we were able to come up with certain bloodtypes these two would tie into
Those with "Sirius" as their guardian are most likely Type AB while those who are protected by "Canopus" are Type B Which fun fact those who are Type B can donate blood to those who are Type AB
Now, lets check bloodtype personalities or Ketsueki-gata that Blavat is kind of basing it off of
WARNING: None of these traits are set in stone, they are just little things like Zodiac signs, if you belong to these blood types and don't think it's correct, I apologize
Blood Type A:
People with type A blood have been linked to positive traits such as creativity, cleverness, and cooperativeness, whereas their supposed negative traits include stubbornness and uptightness.
So those who are Type A are creative and stubborn, an imminent thought of Doll until the reveal. In a way, I can lowkey see Soma being Type A just off this alone
Blood Type B:
Individuals with type B blood are supposed to be strong, passionate, empathetic, and decisive, but they have also been associated with selfishness and erratic behavior. People with this blood type are said to clash with those with type A blood.
Very interesting that erratic behavior are part of this with from what we've seen of Lizzie and later on Doll. The empathy and passionate sides already check out with them both with how trusting they both are and in a way, the "selfish" part also makes sense somehow
Blood Type AB:
The purported strengths of those with type AB blood include rationality and adaptability, but their weaknesses are said to be indecision, criticalness, and forgetfulness. This blood type is largely viewed as having the characteristics of both type A and type B individuals.
. . . Somehow the idea of forgetful Ciels are funny as shit-
And finally, Blood Type O:
Type O people have been linked to characteristics such as confidence, determination, resilience, and intuition, but they are also supposedly self-centered and unstable. They are said to especially appear selfish to individuals with Type A blood.
If he had blood, this feels like Sebastian's Blood Type
Big thanks to verywellmind.com for helping with the stuff for this little post
And, as I've mentioned a lot so far, we also recently got confirms of Doll's blood type also being B as she's "protected by Canopus" like Lizzie!
And as I've mentioned, they're both rather similar, something I believe was something we all lowkey-ed ship them over before all of this.
They are both passionate:
Lizzie is very passionate in her skills and being the perfect fiancée for either Ciels while Doll is very clearly very passionate of her own skills of being a perfect family member
They're both empathetic:
They both follow and lead through life and their decisions with their emotions, they're both emotional and open bleeding hearts, the smallest story of a sobbing tale wins them over than basic knowledge of "that seems a lil sus"
They are both strong:
This is both physically and emotionally. These two take in a lot just being connected to the Phantomhives, they were in different forms of darkness due to that family alone and the stuff that happened to said family
And not to mention, according to this Blood Type Personality thing, THEY'RE THE MOST COMPATIBLE RELATIONSHIP WISE!
So yeah, CielLizzie, CielDoll, LizzieDoll shippers, go nuts!
But wait, there's more!
Cause we have four more blood type reveals baby!
And if you need help on who's who:
Sirius = Gregory Violet
Canopus = Lawrence Bluewear
Vega = Herman Greenhill
Polaris = Edgar Redmond
P.S., I'm not fully convinced on Canopus and Polaris mainly cause with hoods up it's hard to tell besides special features aka Violet's lipstick and heigh aka Greenhill, I just assume Polaris is Redmond due to his mouth being more open than Canopus which makes me think of him as he would be the most obvious choice of public speaking out of all of them especially Bluewear
It's safe to assume they represent their actual Blood Types, which is furthered evidence when Violet is nearly killed due to giving blood, which let's review knowing them:
Sirius/Blood Type AB: The purported strengths of those with type AB blood include rationality and adaptability, but their weaknesses are said to be indecision, criticalness, and forgetfulness. This blood type is largely viewed as having the characteristics of both type A and type B individuals. Very Violet, especially when it's any scene of him doing any form of arts a.k.a....
Vega/Blood Type O: Type O people have been linked to characteristics such as confidence, determination, resilience, and intuition, but they are also supposedly self-centered and unstable. They are said to especially appear selfish to individuals with Type A blood. Which is rather on the nail with Greenhill as we've seen in the panels I've shared and that moment he accidentally almost crushed OCiel in the head with his cricket swing
As for Polaris and Canopus, they're left alone for now since I'm still switching on who Redmond and Bluewear are, but it's very clear Yana planned these characters well with this whole thing in mind!
But what do you guys think? Based off the info alone do you think you can think of would fit which blood type?

…As somehow the Ketsueki-gata (Blood Type Personality Theory) is still a thing among those pseudoscientific myths —It seems like the blood type AB is absurdly popular in any fandom lmao. And yet there are 3 people with unidentified blood types still at large…
But, personally, I prefer Myers-Briggs types for inspecting the characters

Okay, it just occurred to me--remember how Summer (as in Morty's older sister) was described by Beth as an accidental pregnancy, which led to Beth marrying Jerry?
I've now remembered that there was a main plot point of the manga Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ("Goodbye Mr. Despair") where the main character laments that people born around September the 17th were possibly conceived unplanned on New Years. Was this why they picked Morty's birthday? Did history repeat itself?
With the blood types, manga will commonly list a character's blood type because there is a cultural belief that blood types affect a person's personality. The study of blood type personality theory (aka ketsueki-gata) has since been debunked as pseudoscience, but remains a tradition in fiction to give characters a blood type that matches their personality.
Quoting from Bookriot dot com's article, Why Do Manga Character Profiles Always Include Blood Type?:
Type A:
"People with A blood type are often considerate and kind hearted. They are also deliberate and well thought out in their actions — the type to follow directions to the letter — always moving with great care and finishing what they start. They are straightforward and trustworthy, with a very strong sense of good/bad and right/wrong. This, however, can also mean they tend to dislike or have a hard time understanding unconventional methods or ways of thinking, sometimes leading to stubbornness and inflexibility. Type A people sometimes hold themselves back due to their worried and risk-averse nature."
Type AB:
"People with AB blood type usually have very free-spirited and lighthearted personalities. They are likely to have great talent or genius, and can often be perceived as enigmatic. They generally possess various combinations of the qualities of both A and B blood types, which can sometimes result in others believing them to be disingenuous or difficult because of their seemingly conflicting characteristics. They can be quite sensitive and do not like conflict. Type AB people are not easily able to match their energy levels to a situation, and especially have trouble reigning themselves in when excited or frenzied. Their internal experience is quite rich, as they tend to be able to carry multiple trains of thought simultaneously or move through them extremely quickly, though this can also lead others to find conversations with them choppy and haphazard."
The Rick and Morty anime gives us Morty's birthday (Sept 19th) and blood type (A-).
This makes Morty a Virgo.
Rick (not the same Rick Morty travels with, but an alternate version) is listed as having the birthday Nov 11th (Scorpio) and AB+ blood type.

The Secret History - blood types
I really like how the Japanese use blood types to describe person’s personality and temperament ( Concept of Ketsueki-gata) so I’ve decided to use that to try to guess Greek clique’s blood types
Richard and Bunny - A (creative, cooperative, stubborn, uptight)
Henry - AB (rational, adaptable, indecisive, critical) - dont think Henry was indecisive the opposite but the rest fits
Francis - B (empathetic, passionate, selfish, erratic)
Charles and Camilla - 0 (confident, resilient, self-centered, unstable) - Charles did become unstable at one point and the rest apply as well especially to cool-headed Camilla

I hope this isn’t creepy, but I got inspired by BILY to make a chart that correlates blood types to second gender (bc going off personality is more fun, but if it’s genetic then it would probably have a paired genetic indicator ie; blood) and I wanted to know what your blood type was!! It’s also based off of ketsueki-gata
Ahhhhhh I actually don’t know my blood type! Though I do know I carry a recessive gene for a very rare type of blood because my grandmother has it. The like- rh blood type or something? Sounds cool though! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Family ties: The rat is associated with family and fertility, so expect this to be a year of hanging with parents, siblings or your kids.
Divining fortunes and reading blood types in the Year of the Rat
BY HARUKA MURAYAMA
明けましておめでとうございます! (Akemashite omedetō gozaimasu, Happy New Year!) The 2010s are done and we’re now in the 2020s. 心機一転頑張ろう! (Shinki itten ganbarō, It’s time to turn over a new leaf!)
Another thing that starts over in 2020 is the 干支 (eto, Chinese zodiac), and the cycle starts with 子年 (nezumi-doshi, the Year of the Rat). This kanji also introduces our first lesson of the 2020s, ネズミ (nezumi, rat) is often written in kana as its kanji, 鼠, is kind of complicated. You will note, however, that the first kanji used in 子年 is 子 (ko, child). The kanji came first, and there are several explanations as to how it came to be associated with the rat. One story says that the upper classes in the Shang Dynasty (starting in the 16th century BC) wanted a way for the common folk to understand the zodiac, so they associated the cycle with 12 animals. Rats were associated with fertility and therefore were assigned to 子. Another legend has it that 12 animals took part in a race in which the rat was victorious and therefore assigned the first cycle, 子年.
Either way, 子年 is associated with family and fertility, and if you were born in the Year of the Rat (1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996 or 2008) then you are in for a lucky 12 months.
You can ask your friends, “何年生まれですか” (“Nani-doshi umare desu ka,” “What’s your Chinese zodiac sign?”) to which they may reply, “ネズミ年生まれです” (“Nezumi-doshi umare desu,” “I was born in the Year of the Rat”). Those born in the year of the current zodiac are also referred to as 年女 (toshi onna) or 年男 (toshi otoko) for women and men, respectively.
As 干支 follows a 12-year cycle, the years that come after it will be:
丑年 (ushi-doshi, Year of the Ox)
寅年 (tora-doshi, Year of the Tiger)
卯年 (usagi-doshi, Year of the Rabbit)
辰年 (tatsu-doshi, Year of the Dragon)
巳年 (hebi-doshi, Year of the Snake)
午年 (uma-doshi, Year of the Horse)
未年 (hitsuji-doshi, Year of the Sheep)
申年 (saru-doshi, Year of the Monkey)
酉年 (tori-doshi, Year of the Rooster)
戌年 (inu-doshi, Year of the Dog)
亥年 (inoshishi-doshi, Year of the Boar)
Just remember that the kanji in the names of the years don’t necessarily match the kanji used for those animals.
If you’re the same zodiac year as someone but 12 years apart, then you’re 一回り違う (hitomawari chigau, one round different). If you’re 24 years apart, then you’re 二回り違う (futamawari chigau, two rounds different). Just be careful not to point out these differences with your elders.
So, when would knowing your Chinese zodiac be useful? Well, it would come in useful when you visit a 占い師 (uranaishi, fortune teller), for example. 占い (uranai, fortune telling) has a long history in Japan from anywhere between 手相占い (tesō uranai, palm readers) to new year おみくじ (o-mikuji, slips of paper with fortunes written on them).
In addition to 干支占い (eto uranai, fortune-telling via the Chinese zodiac), Japanese people will sometimes pay attention to 星座占い (seiza uranai, fortune-telling via the Western zodiac). Monday brings 今週の12星座占いランキング (konshū no jūni-seiza uranai rankingu, the ranking of the luckiest Western zodiac sign for this week) on morning television and radio programs.
While Westerners use the zodiac to figure out an individual’s 性格診断 (seikaku shindan, personality assessment), the Japanese decipher it via 血液型 (ketsueki-gata, blood type).
When engaging in conversations about personality, you may be asked, “血液型は何ですか”(“Ketsueki-gata wa nan desu ka,” “What is your blood type?”) or, more simply, “何型ですか” (“Nani-gata desu ka,” “What type are you?”). You can respond with, “A型です” (“Ei-gata desu,” “I’m type A”), which means you may have a 几帳面な性格 (kichōmenna seikaku, methodical personality), or “B型です” (“Bī-gata desu,” “I’m type B”), which suggests that you are マイペースな性格 (maipēsuna seikaku, a type of a person who does everything at their own pace).
Type O can mean a few different things, and to convey the idea that you are explaining what you are, use the connective construction なので (nanode, so): “O型なので大雑把です” (“Ō-gata nanode ōzappa desu,” “I’m type O, so I’m not particular about details”). You could also talk yourself up by saying, “O型なのでおおらかだと思います” (“Ō-gata nanode ōraka da to omoimasu,” “I’m type O, so I think I’m pretty generous”).
My blood type is AB, so I may reply with, “AB型なので二重人格と言われます” (“Ei-bī-gata nanode nijū jinkaku to iwaremasu,” “I’m type AB, so I’m said to be dual-natured”). Sadly, AB型 are believed to be kind of two-faced. On the other hand, they’re also 天才肌 (tensaihada, having the temperment of a genius).
It’s up to you as to whether you believe this kind of stuff or not. Fortune or no fortune, 人生はあなた次第 (jinsei wa anata shidai, life is what you make it).

Going off by the Ketsueki-gata/Blood Type Personality, Marie has comical trouble manipulating type X (type A) blood. Depending on the verse, she needs to taste a good amount in order to manipulate another person's. By the time the time skip starts she is able to do so having just awakened her devil fruit. She can probably turn small buildings into blood, but it takes an immense amount of stamina. (Someone teach this baby how to not depend on her devil fruit so much ;-; please....)
She is also a doctor, so it's imperative she gets a sample in an effort to manipulate and possibly multiply blood cells for the survival of her patients. She is not above using the samples to manipulate a patient's blood so that they get back into the hospital bed and heal...
She can form objects and weapons, but for the most part, she lets the blood form into tendrils that whirl around her. She can use the blood as a slingshot to catapult enemies or eject enemies off the ship. She can exsanguinate blood from others, but it needs concentration. She can also use blood as a thread to temporarily stitch a person's wound.
Bissha Bissha no Mi
Under a read more for blood and some body horror.
Is a special fruit that shares known traits of the Paramecia and Logia fruit. It allows the user to control and manipulate blood, whether already spilled blood or the user's blood. When awakened, the devil fruit eater of this fruit is able to manipulate other people's blood at will. Unawakened, the user needs to bite a person and get a taste of blood.
In One Piece, the blood types are referred to as X, S, and F (and I believe one more). You can see the list of blood types here. There is a horoscope centered around blood type. Since Marie is a certain blood type, she will have mastery over that blood type. Whatever she is not compatible with will be the hardest and will take a lot of stamina for her to control. What she is compatible with will be easier.
In Short:
S is Type O
XF is Type AB
X is Type A
F is Type B.
Marie's blood type is F (B).
Bissha Bissha is one of the onomatopoeia for blood splatter in Japanese manga.

It’s a term that may once have only been familiar to phlebotomists and vampires. But since the 1930s, ketsueki-gata has become a popular means of analyzing a person’s personality based on their blood type, thanks to Japanese professor Tokeji Furukawa. While there is no scientific proof tying blood types to personality types, Furukawa’s claims have…
