Keratin Treatment At Home
Mastering the Art of Keratin Treatment at Home: Your Ultimate Guide
In the quest for smooth, frizz-free locks, keratin treatments at home have emerged as a game-changer in the world of hair care. Traditionally confined to salons, the allure of achieving salon-quality results from the comfort of home has sparked interest in DIY keratin treatments. But before you dive into the world of DIY hair care, let’s explore what keratin treatments entail and how you can master the art of administering them at home.
What is Keratin Treatment at home? Keratin is a protein naturally found in our hair, responsible for its strength and elasticity. Keratin treatments at home, also known as Brazilian blowouts or keratin straightening treatments, involve infusing the hair with a liquid form of keratin, along with other conditioning agents and chemicals, to smooth and straighten the hair cuticle, reducing frizz and enhancing shine.
The DIY Approach: While professional keratin treatments often involve harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, many at-home kits now offer gentler formulations that provide similar results without the potential risks. Before embarking on a DIY keratin treatment at home, it’s crucial to choose a reputable product and carefully follow the instructions provided.
Tumblr media
2. Application: Section your hair into manageable portions and apply the keratin treatment at home evenly, using a comb to distribute the product from root to tip. Be sure to avoid saturating the hair excessively to prevent over-processing.
3. Processing Time: Follow the recommended processing time specified in the product instructions. This typically ranges from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the product and desired results.
4. Heat Activation: Once the treatment is applied, use a blow dryer and flat iron to seal in the keratin treatment at home. Heat helps to activate the ingredients, allowing them to penetrate the hair shaft more effectively.
5. Post-Treatment Care: After the initial processing and sealing, refrain from washing your hair or using any styling products for the recommended period, usually around 72 hours. This allows the keratin to fully bond with the hair for longer-lasting results.
Benefits of DIY Keratin Treatment: - Smooth, frizz-free hair - Enhanced shine and manageability - Reduced styling time - Cost-effective alternative to salon treatments
Safety Precautions: While DIY keratin treatments at home offer convenience and cost savings, it’s essential to prioritize safety: - Always perform a patch test to check for any allergic reactions before applying the treatment. - Use the product in a well-ventilated area to minimize exposure to fumes. - Follow the instructions carefully and avoid leaving the product on for longer than recommended. - If you have any concerns or experience adverse reactions, seek professional advice immediately.
Best Product’s For Keratin Treatment At Home:

2. Brazilian Keratin Purifying Shampoo

3. Brazilian Keratin Daily Care Shampoo

Conclusion: With the right tools, techniques, and precautions, mastering the art of keratin treatment at home is within reach for anyone seeking sleek, salon-worthy locks. By following these steps and investing in a quality DIY kit, you can achieve the smooth, frizz-free hair of your dreams without ever leaving the comfort of home.

Tumblr media
Finding the perfect hair salon can make all the difference when it comes to grooming and personal style. Dubai, known for its luxurious lifestyle and high standards, offers many options for those seeking to elevate their style and transform their hair into a work of art. In this blog post, we will guide you through discovering the ideal hair salon in Dubai, where skilled professionals will cater to your unique needs and help you achieve the desired look.
Research and Referrals: Begin your journey by conducting thorough research. Seek recommendations from friends, family, or colleagues who have had positive experiences at hair salons in Dubai. Their first-hand feedback can provide valuable insights and help you narrow down your options. Additionally, utilize online platforms and social media to read reviews and view before-and-after photos to gauge the salon's expertise and clientele satisfaction.
Expertise and Services: Look for a hair salon Dubai that offers a wide range of services to address your needs. Whether you're looking for a simple haircut, complete hair makeovers, or specialized treatments like colouring, hair botox treatment, or extensions, choose a salon that excels in those areas. Additionally, ensure the salon employs experienced and skilled hairstylists who stay updated with the latest trends and techniques.
Hygiene and Cleanliness: Hygiene should be a top priority when selecting a hair salon. Visit potential salons in person to assess their cleanliness standards. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the workstations, equipment, and overall ambience. A clean and hygienic environment reflects the salon's commitment to providing its clients with a safe and comfortable experience.
Product Selection: Another essential aspect to consider is the range and quality of products used by the salon. A reputable salon will use premium hair care brands to nourish and protect your hair. Inquire about their product lines and ensure they align with your preferences and requirements.
Customer Service and Communication: Customer service is crucial for a positive salon experience. Look for a hair salon in Dubai where the staff is friendly, attentive, and responsive to your needs. Effective communication is essential to achieving the desired results, so choose a salon that listens to your concerns and provides expert advice based on your hair type and style goals.
Ambience and Amenities: The ambience of a salon dramatically contributes to the overall experience. Seek a salon that offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the process. Additionally, consider the availability of complimentary beverages, comfortable seating, and entertainment options that enhance your comfort and enjoyment.
Dubai is a city that values style and excellence, making it the ideal destination to discover the perfect hair salon to elevate your style. You can find the ideal salon that meets your expectations with thorough research, seeking recommendations, and considering important factors such as expertise, hygiene, product selection, customer service, and ambience. Remember, your hair reflects your personality, and with the right salon and skilled professionals, you can achieve the look you've always desired. i’ve never requested before lmao i’m sorry if i did this wrong
Omg babe I too wear my curly hair straight 9/10 cos the volume?! Insane!! I actually just did a keratin treatment too cos I could manage
You’re fresh out the shower- well in a bathrobe when you hear the signs of your boys being home.
There’s some arguing- which you know is James and Sirius, and some softer words, Remus trying to placate them.
“We’re home angel!” Comes James’ voice, you listen as you put on some clothes.
“We got that soup you wanted.” Remus supplies- you wait for Sirius’ voice and don’t find it.
Instead, you’re met with the black haired man, scruff and all, present as you pull your towel from your hair.
“Hi puppet,” his lips meet your forehead, and then your lips. “I like the curls.” Sirius inked hand hovers just below the curls at your shoulders, fingertips collecting the water like dewdrops.
“Thanks Siri, I like ‘em too. If only they weren’t so finicky.”
“What’s finicky?” James asks at the door, pausing swiftly after looking up. “Your hair looks lush, angel!”
Your cheeks heat under both men’s attention and you know you don’t have long before Remus comes in and is making it hard to stand before them all.
“I brought the soup in here, didn’t want it to get too cold.” He’s holding a tray with two bowls on it- one for you and him you presume, James and Sirius prefer pho to yours and Remus’ wanton soup.
“Thanks Remmy, though you didn’t have to I was coming out soon.”
He shrugs, sets the tray down carefully and then fakes you in. “Are you wearing it curly this week?”
“Today and tomorrow,” you say, an almost insecure hand reaching to touch the curls.
“Looks good, dove.” Remus stalks towards you, hand cupping your cheek as he pulls you in for a kiss.
“Think you ought to keep it curly if you’re gonna get kissed like that, huh angel?” James flirts, all three of them taking turns kissing you silly before you find the voice to remind them about your food.

Regrowing my hair has been such a wonderful experience of reclamation for me and I want to tell you about it because your long hair men posts are part of why I’m regrowing it.
So, for context, I’m a trans dude. Since I was little, I’ve wanted to shave my head. When my brother and dad shaved their heads for a cancer charity, I wanted to do it too, and I wasn’t allowed. Every haircut I got right up until I left home was controlled, in some part, by my parents. I hated having a layered cut the way my stylist did it because it made my hair hard to put up. She would always tell me I needed to get highlights to emphasize that I was a natural blond, that I needed keratin treatments so I could look like other girls, that I should do this or wear that to make it “suit my face”. And I hated it. Finally, I managed to convince my mom to let me get it cut short-ish in 10th grade, but it was a stylish, girlie pixie cut that didn’t suit me at all. But it was better than nothing.
When I went to university, within a week of moving in, I took the bus to the mall, bought a cheap set of clippers, and shaved my head in the dorm room sink. When I looked up, I finally saw myself looking back. I kept it shaved pretty tight for a while, because I had to be walking outside with wet hair in subzero temperatures. But this year, I’ve started to let it grow back, and I was worried I would hate it again and stop seeing myself when I looked in the mirror but I haven’t. It’s my hair now. Does it look like a mullet? A bit! Does it look kind of silly and weird? Yes! But it’s MY hair now. It’s not the “best style to suit your face shape” or “the style everyone else has”, it’s me. The grown women in my life who feel a sense of ownership over my hair say I would look better if I cut off a few inches at the back. When I tell them that I don’t care and that my goal isn’t looking good, they get confused. But it isn’t. My goal is to look like me and I do and I’m so happy. So, thank you for posting about long haired men so often. You’ve inspired me to take back something I didn’t even realize I didn’t have.
It's literally such an empowerment thing. I'm still only now starting to really feel like I'm able to experiment and figure out my presentation of my self and I'm having a terrified blast! I'm glad my posts could help even if only a little bit with that :3

I've started watching Golden Girls and holy shit!! It's amazing how REAL these women look! Their faces are natural, they're of course older women, but they actually LOOK like real middle aged women. Their faces have wrinkles, they have smile lines, you can see around their necks and ears that they have some loose skin. But they're still stunning
They're wearing makeup but it's not over the top, you can still see their real skin, it's makeup used to highlight their natural beauty, not cover up every minor detail. Their hair looks like it can be naturally achieved with basic washing, brushing, and at home styling, it's not keratin treatments galore and extensions. Their faces are diverse, nose sizes are different, their lips look natural and normal, they aren't over stuffed with filler.
They can make normal expressions and you can really see it on their faces. They aren't botoxed into mannequins. Their nails are manicured but still natural. They aren't entirely made of acrylics, they actually look comfortable to have on, they can still do things with their hands.
Their clothes look comfortable and they still look very elegant. They look like clothes I could reasonably find in a Maurices, and they can still move comfortably. It's not like today's actresses where you'll see them wearing things no everyday person could find but you could get a cheap replica from Shien that will break up after three washes. They occasionally wear high heels but those heels are only two to three inches high, not the best but not terrible either, they can still walk, jog, dance, and move comfortably.
The "sexy" one, Blanche, is absolutely stunning. She's a gorgeous woman, but she still looks like she's in her fifties (that is not a bad thing). Her hair has some grey around the ears, her bosom needs a little extra support, she has some extra inches around the waist like most women who have lived a full life, worked a job, had children and raised them, socialized with other people, and aged naturally.
And this post isn't supposed to be about men, but the men are very natural looking too. Their faces are just as diverse as the ladies, noses of different sizes, wrinkles, natural bodies (not over muscled and dehydrated for days so they have no body fat hiding those muscles), and their hair is thinning (because the show is about people in their fifties or older) without having plugs.
You never see things like this today. Even the older women in TV and Movies have their wrinkles and blemishes botoxed or CGId out. The clothes always look horribly tight and uncomfortable, their hair looks fake. Their nails look fake, the eyelashes are extensions, pretty much all of them have fakes over their teeth that makes their lips look extra fake with all the filler. They all look like Snapchat filters.

Hello,👋
‎‏I hope you are doing well.
Iam Rola Isam a mother of four children in Gaza.
‎‏I am writing to you today with hope and trust in your compassionate hearts. My family is facing very difficult circumstances due to the war in gaza, and we are in urgent need of assistance after the occupation destroyed our home in north of gaza.
I am seeking funding for my campaign to save my children, and any reblogging of my post on my account can make a big difference.
Asking for help is not easy, I ask for a small donation of only 50€ from each person, 50€ will save my family from death in Gaza
‎‏Please, if you can repost my message or contribute in any way, you will give us
a lifeline in these difficult times.
The situation here is getting worse day by day. ‏
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can offer.

Rola Abu Hashem's story:
I am Rola Abu hashem, married to Tamer Abu Mostafa, l am a mother of four children, (Rayan 8 years, Ibraheem 5 years, karmel 3 years, kinda 10 monthes).
Please, I need your support to save my family after losing our home, and facilitate my travel with my children and husband to complete my treatment.
As the occupation completely destroyed my house. I had to leave my house in the north at the first day of the war without taking anything from my memories, personal belongings, and the supplies of my four children.
I used to lived in a spacious, modern apartment in the northern Gaza Strip
I bought it through installments after suffering for ten years in rented apartments.
I bought it only one year ago and I haven’t finished paying the installments yet!
I also could not get my medical reports that proof the need to get treatment after the removal of part of my lower jaw two years ago due to the presence of a keratinous cyst in it.
As all of you know, the occupation destroyed the medical system in Gaza.
And I need to have a bone transplant in the lower jaw as soon as possible!

It’s thanksgiving week beloveds! Let’s take a poll of the first four comments my mother is going to make when I set foot at home. (If anyone guesses the correct order I’ll save you some stuffing and a dessert of your choice) :
“Your hair is longer! Hmm, but I don’t love the brunette. I’m glad you’re embracing your curls again! But are they a bit much for work?” Note: I am naturally brunette. I also get regular keratin treatments. 😭😭
“Your skin is looking better! Still some things to fix here *points* but looking much better!” Note: I don’t really care about this one because 1) my skin is literally almost flawless and 2) I just got yelled at by my dermatologist, so who cares lmao. 😭
“You’re looking so good baby girl! I was really worried back when you came to visit during Covid and you had become so much bigger, but now you’re back to your normal svelte self!” Note, I gained eight pounds back in 2020/2021. With those eight pounds? I weighed 128 pounds total. 😭😭
“We’re lucky we got you here! I told everyone not to keep their hopes up, so they’re going to be so excited to see you! Though I wish you would call more. You work too much, are they ever going to promote you?” Note: She regularly worked crazy hours when I was growing up, explicitly because she wanted to advance at all costs. 😭
