Kid’s Hakuba being condensing to Conan could be either Kid’s attitude coming through or because he doesn’t know Conan and Hakuba have interacted before and doesn’t have a reference to how he treats him, presumes that he would be condescending to Conan (or because he wants an excuse to annoy the boy) because he sees him as a stuck up bastard. Or a bit of all of the above. I mean I think the only time he’s seen Hakuba interact with a kid is with Kenta but I don’t remember him being condescending to the kid.
Actually since Kid was there for the Gathering of Great detectives we know that Kaito knows Conan and Hakuba have interacted, and while we don't really see any signs of him being specifically attentive, we do see 'Kogoro' in that case sticking close to Conan (In contrast to how real Kogoro is perfectly content to just let Conan go off with Hattori). So It feels safe too assume that Kaito was keeping an eye on his two greatest rivals with them being so close to eachother. And while you're right that the only time we see Hakuba near a non-Conan Kid is Kenta, we don't see Hakuba interact with Kenta at all. That doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't, Kaito might have seen something we didn't after the end of the chapter, but it does mean that we don't have any data on how Hakuba treats 'normal' kids.
All that said.... yeah the way Kid is being condescending to Conan in that movie is either Kaito intentionally annoying Conan, as you said, or possibly Kaito trying to tell Conan that he was Kid and not Hakuba.
#dcmk#a manga with 1000+ chapters and 25+ movies isn't enough#I need more data#I want to see so many perfectly mundane character interactions...#asks

My Active DCMK AUs as of Feb 16th 2021
Despite 3 out of the 4 having Kaito murdered, all seperate AUs
King of Bones AU
The King Of Bones AU is a gore horror AU where in the 1999, the son in a well off family angered a local witch. The witch put a curse on the house and the family was never seen again.
Nearly twenty years later, the Ekoda gang has long since graduated high school and have no plans for the future. After helping Saguru solve a case, they find they actually quite like the thrill. So the Ekoda gang all form a detective group that tackles interesting, often paranormal cases.
Eventually, the group finds out about the house of the missing family and finds it a mystery right up their alley. The boy is through some measures Saguru’s cousin, so he feels some kinship to lay the mystery to rest. They go into the house, and only Keiko leaves alive.
Two years later, she hires Shinichi and Heiji to help her solve the case. There is more to the house and those who still live within it than first seems.
Notes: A 'Monsters That Were Once Human' story with Shinichi and Heiji going up against the monsterous remains of the victima. First main story Coronation Day recently ended, with a story called Queens' Banquet focusing on the cat furry and the detectives going up against Aoko and Akako and rescuing them from the mansion eventually to follow. First I will need to get around to rewriting Coronation Day.
History Repeats
The classic story of a teenager finding out their late father was an international thief and taking on the identity of Kaitou KID to find their father’s killers. This wasn’t supposed to happen twice. Now a father himself, Saguru knows that there is no reason for people to fight their parents' wars, and wishes not to arrest the new KID, but show how to properly solve Kaito's death instead.
Notes: The 'Married Father of Two' Saguru chasing after Kaito's orphaned kids with a broom and adoption papers that nobody asked for but I plan to write anyway.
Flora
A collection of humanizing fics centered around Snake and other members of the organization looking for Pandora, portrayed separate to the Black Organization.
Notes: Currently heavy on setting Snake/Falcon up as a pairing and I'm not sorry about that. A more adult intended series than even my more previous stories, with at least one E-rated fic already a part of the series.
Heartless
Eight years after Kaito's unsolved murder, its Saguru behind the mask of Kaitou KID, using crime to track down clues to the death. Meanwhile, the new thief on the street, a second Nightmare, is Kenta Connery, sixteen year old orphan with a grudge against KID. They have a more in common goal than they realize at first. Pitted against each other, it's a battle of the century between thieves.
Notes: A rewrite of Somewhere In The Past that removes some of the more questionable and regretable elements *cough* Saguru/Chat Noir*cough* as well as having a slightly more thought out plan for what I want of the storyline. A more bastard energy rewrite and changes many vital original elements of On The Way Of Black Birds.

NJPW FIGHTING SPIRIT UNLEASHED in New York Review (Sept 28th, 2019, Manhattan NY, Hammerstein Ballroom)
TJP vs. Ren Narita ***1/4+
Lance Archer vs. Karl Fredericks ***
Juice Robinson & Mikey Nicholls vs. Clark Connors & Alex Coughlin ***
Roppongi 3K vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny & Jado ***1/4
Hiroshi Tanahashi & The Rock ‘N Roll Express vs. Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & BUSHI ***1/4
Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & Amazing Red vs. Jay White, Chase Owens & Gedo ***
NEVER Openweight Title Match: KENTA (c) vs. YOSHI-HASHI ***3/4
Kazuchika Okada & Kota Ibushi vs. SANADA & EVIL ****
photos.
This was a fun, sub-three hour show that featured nothing but good matches, and was a breeze to sit through. It was essentially an international Korakuen Hall show, however it wasn’t especially memorable for its in-ring output, but the circumstances surrounding the shows 90 minute delay in starting are sure to be talked about for a while yet. The hated TJP submitted the beloved Ren Narita in a really fun 9 minute opener when he locked the Young Lion in the TJP Clutch. After a spirited attempt to make the ropes, Narita (who is now officially on excursion, though where remains a mystery) had to submit. Lance Archer pinned LA Dojo trainee and Young Lion Cup winner Karl Fredericks with the EBD Claw in an enjoyable little outing in which both guys looked good. The returning Mikey Nicholls Mikey Bombed Alex Coughlin to win a decent 8:29 doubles match for his team with Juice. The G.O.D. pinned Rocky Romero with a Last Ride into a Gun Stun to end a really good six man at the 10:46 mark. This would have been even better had Jado not been there. And in a match to mark legendary referee Tiger Hattori’s final match in his hometown, Tanahashi and the Rock N’ Roll Express defeated the L.I.J. trio of Naito, Shingo and BUSHI, when Tana hit the High Fly Flow on BUSHI after 10 minutes of fun action. This wasn’t a MOTY or anything, but the crowd were hot for everything and everyone put on a good show. The sight of 63 year old Ricky Morton hitting a big Tope on Shingo was quite the spectacle. They had a retirement ceremony for Tiger in the post match, in which he brought his family out. This was a nice little moment.
Hirooki Goto pinned Gedo with the GTR to win for his team in another good 12 minute six man. He’ll undoubtedly be challenging White for the I.C. Title in Osaka at Power Struggle, so his win streak has to continue. Unsurprisingly, Ishii was the star of this one. To the surprise of no living soul, KENTA retained the NEVER Title over YOSHI-HASHI in a great match that would have been better had it not gone so long (25:04). KENTA stalled forever in the opening minutes so to get the crowd who were cheering him, to boo him. Which was a success. This turned into a really fun hard-hitter; after the rerequisite Bullet Club ref bump, G.O.D. ran in and tried the Super Bomb on YH, but Tiger Hattori came back out and dragged both brothers to the back by their hair. This was a great, but preposterous moment. YOSHI won a strike exchange and scored a near fall with Meteora. KENTA tried Go 2 Sleep, but YH reversed it into the Butterfly Lock. After a long battle, KENTA made the ropes, hit the Busaiku Knee, and eventually hit Go 2 Sleep for the win. As I say, this would have been excellent if it were 5-7 minutes shorter. And in the main event, SANADA and EVIL were victorious over Okada and Ibushi in the hottest match on the show. This was an all action match which the crowd were super into. It was every doubles match these guys have been having for the last month, but it was still the best thing on the show (a sequence in which everyone laid each other out tore the house down). Ibushi and EVIL had a great sequence at the end, which culminated in The King Of Darkness hitting the STO at 18:46 for the win, and hype up their match for the Tokyo Dome title shot in Ryogoku on October 14th. As I say, this was a very fun card, that was above usual houyse show levels, in which everyone worked hard, and the crowd were hot throughout.

G1 Climax 29 Night 1 - 7/6/2019; Fighting Spirit Unleashed Tour in September; Tiger Hattori Announces Retirement
The first night of this year’s G1 Climax tournament has come and gone. It was an historic first, being the first time a G1 Climax tournament day has been held on American soil, but it also was not the only first to happen. The show was shown live on NJPWWorld, except in the USA, as AXS TV showed it live on American cable TV. It will be available soon on NJPWWorld VOD tho.
7/6/2019, American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX (AXS TV [USA])
Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa [Bullet Club] d. SHO & YOH [CHAOS] (Tonga > YOH, Super Powerbomb, 6:42)
Jeff Cobb [ROH] & Ren Narita d. Tomohiro Ishii [CHAOS] & Shota Umino (Cobb > Umino, Tour of the Islands, 7:18)
Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] d. Jay White & Chase Owens [Bullet Club] (Goto > Owens, GTR, 8:38)
Toru Yano [CHAOS], Juice Robinson & Jushin Thunder Liger d. Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi & BUSHI [Los Ingobernables] (Yano > BUSHI, Rollup, 8:18)
G1 Climax 29 A Block: Lance Archer [SZKG] d. Will Ospreay [CHAOS] (Iron Claw, 18:16)
G1 Climax 29 A Block: Bad Luck Fale [Bullet Club] d. EVIL [Los Ingobernables] (Bad Luck Fall, 11:33)
G1 Climax 29 A Block: SANADA [Los Ingobernables] d. Zack Sabre Jr. [SZKG] (O’Connor Bridge, 21:12)
G1 Climax 29 A Block: KENTA [FREE] d. Kota Ibushi (Go 2 Sleep, 20:51)
G1 Climax 29 A Block: Kazuchika Okada [CHAOS] d. Hiroshi Tanahashi (Rainmaker, 22:04)
It took four tries, but we finally have a winner between Okada v. Tanahashi in a G1 Climax match. The previous three attempts were time-limit draws that ended up screwing Okada in the end, all three times. Okada cut a post-match promo, in English. KENTA wins in his G1 Climax debut, and v. Ibushi was my pick of the night. Archer v. Ospreay was better than it had any right to be. The tag matches were what they were. The arena was not sold out, by far, and on TV you could clearly see the empty sections. On the other hand, the crowd that was there was very much into the show, they were loud all night from pillar to post, they cheered the faces and booed the heels and that’s what you want out of a wrestling show. So on that point, I will call it a success.
Current A Block standings:
Archer: 2pts (1W 0D 0L) Fale: 2pts (1W 0D 0L) KENTA: 2pts (1W 0D 0L) Okada: 2pts (1W 0D 0L) SANADA: 2pts (1W 0D 0L) EVIL: 0pts (0W 0D 1L) Ibushi: 0pts (0W 0D 1L) Ospreay: 0pts (0W 0D 1L) Sabre: 0pts (0W 0D 1L) Tanahashi: 0pts (0W 0D 1L)
During the intermission, NJPW announced three dates at the end of September on the East Coast. From all sources since then, it has become clear these are solo NJPW shows, without involvement from Ring of Honor, which, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. At the same time, not too keen on the name, as that was the name of the most unnecessary NJPW show last year, and it wasn’t very good to boot.
It was also announced that the New York date on 9/28/2019 will be the beginning of a retirement countdown for senior referee Tiger Hattori. So Jushin Thunder Liger is not the only retiree NJPW has coming up then. I will do a fuller profile of Hattori when the time comes. For now, here are the dates for the tour:
Fighting Spirit Unleashed 2019 - 9/27/2019, Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Lowell, MA - 9/28/2019, Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City, NY - 9/29/2019, 2300 Arena, Philadelphia, PA
We get a week off now, and then G1 Climax 29 gets going proper, with the next show on 7/13/2019, the openers for B Block. Jon Moxley will be there this time.
- 7/13/2019, Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium
Kota Ibushi, Will Ospreay [CHAOS] & Yuya Uemura v. EVIL, SANADA & BUSHI [Los Ingobernables]
Lance Archer & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [SZKG] v. Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens [Bullet Club]
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shota Umino & Ren Narita v. KENTA [FREE], Clark Connors & Karl Fredericks
Kazuchika Okada & YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] v. Zack Sabre Jr. & Minoru Suzuki [SZKG]
G1 Climax 29 B Block: Juice Robinson v. Shingo Takagi [Los Ingobernables]
G1 Climax 29 B Block: Jon Moxley [FREE] v. Taichi [SZKG]
G1 Climax 29 B Block: Toru Yano [CHAOS] v. Tetsuya Naito [Los Ingobernables]
G1 Climax 29 B Block: Tomohiro Ishii [CHAOS] v. Jeff Cobb [ROH]
G1 Climax 29 B Block: Hirooki Goto [CHAOS] v. Jay White [Bullet Club]

When you realize once again some of your favorite seiyuu legends are already 50+ years old...
1. Keiji Fujiwara (Oct 5, 1964 - 55 years old)
Yes, he has a lot other roles under his belt besides Ardyn, and heck, I’m still salty toward FF15, and to be honest, he’s not the greatest villain in my opinion (based only on the base game, as I haven’t played any of the DLCs, including Episode Ardyn), but Ardyn is one of his recent roles and I just want to shout out to his awesome portrayal of the character. It was another reason why I so wanted to play this game in Japanese.
Keiji Fujiwara is that seiyuu you’d often hear everywhere. Like, I would watch some anime and he would appear in maybe 3 out of 5 of them. My current favorite is Maes Hughes, because I just finished re-watching FMA Brotherhood, and his death killed me again!! His other roles that I remember are Hattori Zenzou from Gintama, Ladd Russo from Baccano, Ali Al-Saachez from Gundam 00, Higuchi from Tatami Galaxy, Shiro Fujimoto from Ao no Exorcist, Hannes from Attack on Titan, Brody from Kekkai Sensen, and lots more that I haven’t seen or might have forgotten. But, let’s not forget that he also voiced Axel and Lea in Kingdom Hearts! He is also the voice of Reno in the FF7 Compilation and the upcoming Remake (in which he sounds much, much younger but still awesome)! And also Izana Kunagiri in FF Type-0 (I haven’t played the game haha, but I saw him on the trailers).
2. Akira Ishida (Nov 2, 1967 - 52 years old)
I debated between putting Katsura or Natori there (two of my favorite Ishida roles), and ended up deciding to go with Zura, because to me, nothing really beats Ishida-san’s role as him. This...idiotic of a man that acts as the leader of an anti-government group. He raps. He cross-dresses. All the antics he gets up to. And just his overall stupidity! Like, seriously! His interactions with Gintoki and Kagura and the things he got up to to hide from the Shinsengumi xD (but he’s cool when he fights--his one and only redeeming quality lol). Some of his other roles that I know are Natori Shuuichi from Natsume Yuujinchou, Keiji Mogami from Mob Psycho 100, Kaworu Nagisa from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Myoe/Inari from Kyousougiga, Hideo Shimada from Parasyte, Femto from Kekkai Sensen, Fyodor Dostoyevsky from Bungou Stray Dogs, Touji Souya from Sangatsu no Lion, and others I have not seen.
Anyway, I learned that among the seiyuu, Ishida Akira-san is considered to be a “cool person”. In that one Gintama interview I saw, even the main casts + Suzuken regarded him as the “cool Ishida-san”. And then in a radio clip somewhere else, someone asked Sugita whether he had seen Ishida laugh, to which Sugita said that “the cool Ishida-san” laughed when he was recording an episode of Gintama that they had to redo the take (lol). On top of that, I have heard him voice an old man, an old woman, and then that one clip I heard of him voice all gender of all ages! There’s only one thing I have to say to that right now:
ALL HAIL ISHIDA AKIRA-SAMA!!!
3. Shinichiro Miki (Mar 18, 1968 - 51 years old)
I wasn’t much of a fan of this guy...not until I hear him as Roy, Monogatari’s Deishuu Kaiki, and Sangatsu no Lion’s Kai Shimada--all of which I have only seen in the last 3 years. I first heard him in Escaflowne, and after that, I only hear him as ikemen guys. Nothing wrong with that, but his roles never really captivated me, until I saw those three.
I rarely hear him in the anime I watch, though when I do, they are often anime that I end up loving. Sometimes I mistake him with Junichi Suwabe, especially whenever I hear Kaiki speak in Monogatari. And then, I came across him in Gintama as Sakamoto...and I never hear that voice in any other anime again lololol. Also, he is currently the voice of Sir Nighteye in BnHA Season 4, and with Miyake Kenta as All Might, it just came to me that Roy and Scar are in BnHA as hero-sidekicks/friends xD

2019 2.5D Actors ranking
I decided to do two rankings of my top 50 2.5D actors. One in terms of acting skill and level, and one in terms of how much I like them.
RULES:
1. I must have seen them in at least one 2.5D production and at least 2 different stage shows. And liked them in at least two different roles for their acting level
2. They must still be active in 2.5D shows.
3. I have not taken how much I like the actor into account. I am not a fan of all of these actors. I simply think they have exceptional acting ability.
Please don’t get offended, these are my opinions.
In the brackets I have included maximum three roles that I liked them in
So here is the ranking:
1. Suzuki Hiroki (Yato, Mikazuki Munechika, Arakita Yasutomo)
2. Honda Reo (Kikumaru Eiji, Ikaruga Misumi)
3. Aramaki Yoshiko (Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, Tsukioka Tsumugi)
4. Yamamoto Ikkei (Rinkai Line/Yamagata Shinkansen, Oishi Shuichiro)
5. Miura Hiroki (Atobe Keigo, Higekiri)
6. Sato Yugo (Kisarazu Atsushi/Kisarazu Ryo, Kaminari Denki)
7. Kuroba Mario (Kikumaru Eiji, Kise Ryouta, Mikazuki Munechika)
8. Tateishi Toshiki (Yukimura Seiichi, Chigasaki Itaru)
9. Tanaka Ryosei (Inui Sadaharu, Joetsu Shinkansen, Arisugawa Homare)
10. Izaki Ryujiro (Kamio Akira, Asuka Haruto, Holland)
11. Tamaki Yuki (Toudou Jinpachi, Snake, Kogarasumaru)
12. Someya Toshiyuki (Tsurumaru Kuninaga, Hirakoba Rin, Ishigaki Koutaro)
13. Ota Motohiro (Iwaizumi Shunsuke, Takasugi Shinsaku, Sengo Muramasa)
14. Makishima Hikaru (Kaidoh Kaoru, Usui Masumi)
15. Noguchi Jun (Sakisaka Muku, Jinnai Enta)

IE World Guide 2018
Inazuma Eleven Ares Official World Guide
Teams: Inakuni Raimon
Page 34 - Iwato, Kirina, Hanta
Tower of Defense
Iwato Takashi
Voice Actor: Miyake Kenta
Grade: 2nd Year
Shirt Number: 5
Position: Defender
His nickname is ‘Golem’. He’s active in the team as a defender and despite his intimidating looks, he’s actually a gentle giant. He has a habit of ending his sentences with ~gosu. He affectionately calls Hattori by the nickname ‘Han-chan’.
A Smile as Cool as Ice
Kirina Hiura
Voice Actor: Souma Saitou
Grade: 2nd Year
Shirt Number: 7
Position: MF
A beautiful boy with icy-blue hair and almond-shaped eyes. At first glance he appears cool and aloof, but he’s his grandmother’s boy at heart. The day before the match against Seishou Academy, he became Asuto’s confidante.
Ninja Sprint
Hattori Hanta
Voice Actor: Tomatsu Haruka
Grade: 2nd Year
Shirt Number: 4
Position: MF
His nimble body dashes across the field like a swift wind, and moving with light feet is his specialty. He generally wears a hood and his casual clothes are also pretty ninja-esque, but it is unconfirmed as to whether or not he is actually a ninja.

Amazon - Amazon Holidays from Onesal on Vimeo.
Amazon Japan approached Onesal Studio to illustrate together the world of the distribution station. In this collaboration, we took an abstract approach of the conveyor belt showing box characters and products living together in an ultra-detailed fun micro world.
The campaign consisted of key visuals, web assets, social pieces, and five TV and social films that went live throughout November and December of 2020 in Japan, and with one of the films being released during the end of the year NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen (NHK紅白歌合戦), the most-watched event of the year in Japan.
This is the beginning of an ongoing series into 2021.
