Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've been doing a lot of traditional art lately and there's been a lot of changes in my life where I've kinda strayed away from Tumblr but I'm more active on my insta @/miareallydrewthat! sorry it's been so long, I'll scrounge up some traditional doodles of trap characters too because I love our small little fandom so much :)

every post you make about chicago makes me want to go is it worth moving there?
i love this ask so much that i'm going to out myself as a LIAR and a CHARLATAN: i don't live in the city rn i'm living in the suburbs atm but I did go to school in the city (CCC alums hiiiii) and i loved every second of it. it's an enormous cultural hotspot, I love ALL the museums, the public transit is PRETTY GOOD, no matter what you're into (music, art, theater, history, politics) there's a community and places to congregate.
you'll hear on the news that Chicago is dangerous but like any city it depends on where you go. it's is also an expensive city to live in (rent as well as general cost of living) but again that's honestly most big urban centers right now. the real benefit of living here is that IL is a blue state with rock-solid legislation protecting basic rights that are eroding in a lot of other places, and I think it's more accessible and affordable than cities like NYC or LA.
if you're really interested in moving here r/Chicago pretty much always has a thread going where someone is asking about moving here or you can make your own, everyone on that subreddit's pretty chill and people will be honest with you about what places are and aren't worth checking out and you might get a better idea about what the cost of moving/living in the city will be.
If that's not financially feasible, I'd also encourage you to check out the suburbs around Chicago as well, especially ones close to a Metra line. Metra train lines run from Chicago Union Station to as far out as Kenosha, WI and it makes travel into the city REALLY easy and affordable. It's how I was able to go to school downtown three times a week while working part-time and pay off my student loans within a year of graduating because I didn't have to live on-campus or deal with the hassle of driving/parking in the city. One thing about the suburbs though is you'll definitely need a car. In the city that's less of a problem with the L and the busses.
Chicago is really, really nice I prommy. Especially if you live somewhere whose political future looks unstable, don't discount the Midwest and especially not IL.
This ask was not sponsored by the Chicago Bureau of Tourism.

4D Reading Week 2 GIFs
I found the readings about GIFs this week very interesting. All of the information was new to me and I have never played with GIFs at all, other than to embed one into a text from my phone that showed emotion – like a celebratory “Yay!” or the one of Ben Affleck smoking a cigarette to show total exhaustion. 😊  or SNLs Molly Shannon kicking as Sally O’Malley, when I turned 50 a few years ago. It looks like it will be fun to experiment with this type of art that I never imagined doing.
I enjoyed the video “How Art Can Transform the Internet,” and how the “Kenosha kid” sentence continually changed with different meaning. I was moved by the last words of the death row inmates, especially the one that said, “I did not kill your loved one.” If true, that this person died and they were innocent, it breaks my heart. I also enjoyed looking at the video of XXO by M.I.A. The video was beautiful and I loved all the animated flowers. I enjoyed Toyin Odutola’s video about her drawings and the hands. Her art is incredible and I enjoyed watching her and appreciate her upbeat, positive attitude. I relate to the feelings she described when drawing – a sort of flow, peaceful state… that I long to find on this snowy afternoon. The slow moving GIFs from the Oakland barber shop were very cool and some of them force you to slow down and look hard because the movement is slow and subtle.

This year we are pleased to announce that our Featured Artist is Chicago native, Steven Macy. Steve Macy’s passion for automobiles and capturing them in a piece of artwork goes back to a very early age. His father, who was very mechanically inclined, started Steve’s “education” in everything automotive. By the tender age of five, he was helping his dad turn wrenches on the various cars he owned.
But Steve’s interests went beyond the mechanical to the aesthetic. The design, shape, and colors are what motivated him to put pencil to paper. As time progressed so did his skills. His other passion was architecture. He attended the University of Illinois and the American Academy of Art where he received his formal training in architecture and art. Although his career path focused on architectural illustration, he always found time to produce automotive art.
The discipline in doing architectural illustration bled over into his automotive work which gives them a photorealistic style. The bold use of perspective, colors, contrast, and detail draw you into his work. Steve’s career as an architectural illustrator and automotive artist spans over 30 years.
His award winning work has been shown in numerous invitational and juried exhibitions throughout the country. In addition, Steve’s work has been seen in various publications and private collections worldwide.

Contact Limo Kenosha
How Contact Limo Kenosha is Redefining the Ride
Tumblr media
Let's face it:
Traditional limo services are a thing of the past.
Today's discerning travelers in Kenosha, Wisconsin demand more than just a stretch limo. They want spacious comfort, cutting-edge technology, and a touch of sophistication.
Enter the luxury SUV revolution.
And at the forefront? Contact Limo Kenosha.
In this comprehensive guide, we'll dive deep into how our fleet of high-end SUVs is transforming the luxury transportation game in Kenosha and beyond.
The Rise of SUV Limo Services in Kenosha
Picture this:
You're a high-powered executive flying into Kenosha Regional Airport. You need to make it to a crucial meeting downtown, then zip over to Pleasant Prairie for a site visit.
A cramped sedan? Not gonna cut it.
A massive stretch limo? Too flashy and impractical.
The solution? A sleek, spacious luxury SUV.
Tumblr media
SUVs are taking over the luxury transportation scene in Kenosha for good reason. Their unmatched versatility allows them to handle everything from airport runs to wedding parties with equal style and grace. In a city that experiences all four seasons, the all-weather performance of our SUVs is a game-changer. Wisconsin winters are no match for our all-wheel-drive beasts.
But it's not just about practicality. Our SUVs are packed with tech-forward features that modern travelers expect. Wi-Fi, charging ports, and advanced entertainment systems come standard, ensuring you're always connected and entertained on the go.
When it comes to comfort, our SUVs are in a league of their own. Ample legroom and premium leather seating create an executive-level experience that turns travel time into productive or relaxing moments. And let's not forget the element of discreet luxury – our SUVs make a statement without screaming "look at me!"
The Contact Limo Kenosha Difference: Elevating SUV Travel
At Contact Limo LLC, we've fine-tuned the art of luxury SUV transportation. Here's how we're setting the standard in Kenosha:
Fleet Excellence
Our SUV fleet isn't just any collection of vehicles. We're talking top-of-the-line models, meticulously maintained to perfection. Each SUV in our fleet is chosen for its blend of style, comfort, and performance.
We prioritize vehicles with spacious interiors and ample headroom, ensuring that even our tallest clients can stretch out in comfort. The latest tech integration is a given, with Wi-Fi and charging ports keeping you connected, and advanced entertainment systems making every journey enjoyable.
But perhaps most importantly for Kenosha's varied climate, our SUVs boast all-wheel drive capability. This means whether you're heading to a summer festival by the lake or navigating snowy streets in January, our vehicles deliver a smooth, safe ride.
Luggage capacity is another area where our SUVs shine. Whether you're packing for a long business trip or need space for wedding party gear, our vehicles offer generous storage that puts standard sedans to shame.
Chauffeur Expertise
A luxury SUV is only as good as the person behind the wheel. That's why our chauffeurs are the crème de la crème of Kenosha's transportation professionals.
We start with rigorous background checks and don't stop there. Our chauffeurs undergo continuous training to stay at the top of their game. This includes mastering defensive driving techniques and VIP security protocols, ensuring your safety is always the top priority.
But technical skills are just the beginning. Our chauffeurs possess an in-depth knowledge of Kenosha and the surrounding areas that turns them into local guides as well as drivers. Need a last-minute restaurant recommendation for a client dinner? Wondering about the best spot to catch the sunset over Lake Michigan? Our chauffeurs have you covered.
Professionalism and discretion are the hallmarks of our service. Our chauffeurs understand that their role goes beyond driving – they're an extension of your professional image. Whether you're heading to a high-stakes business meeting or a personal event, you can trust our chauffeurs to represent you with class and sophistication.

Real-World Impact: SUV Luxury in Action
To illustrate the real-world impact of our services, let's look at two case studies:
Corporate Client X: Maximizing Productivity
Challenge: A team of six executives needed transportation to multiple Kenosha locations for a day of site visits and meetings. They required a vehicle that could accommodate everyone comfortably while allowing for work en route.
Solution: Contact Limo LLC provided a spacious luxury SUV equipped with mobile office capabilities, including Wi-Fi, multiple charging ports, and a layout conducive to group discussions.
Result: The team arrived at each location refreshed and prepared, having used the travel time productively. They completed all scheduled visits on time, with no parking hassles or navigation stress. The client reported a 20% increase in productivity compared to previous trips where they had used standard taxi services or rental cars.
Key Takeaway: Our SUV service turned potentially wasted travel time into valuable working hours, directly impacting the client's bottom line.
Wedding Party Y: Stress-Free Celebration
Challenge: A bridal party of seven needed elegant transportation for their big day, with multiple stops for photos before arriving at the venue. They were concerned about space for dresses and equipment, as well as finding the best photo locations in Kenosha.
Solution: We provided a luxury SUV with ample interior space and a separate climate-controlled area for dresses. Our chauffeur, well-versed in Kenosha's most picturesque spots, suggested a route that incorporated the couple's desired locations along with some hidden gems.
Result: The wedding party enjoyed a stress-free day, capturing stunning photos at Kenosha's best spots without worrying about transportation logistics. They arrived at the venue on schedule, relaxed, and ready to celebrate.
Key Takeaway: Our service went beyond simple transportation, contributing to the overall success and enjoyment of a significant life event.
The Future of Luxury SUV Travel in Kenosha
As we look to the future, the demand for premium SUV transportation in Kenosha is only growing. Here's what we're anticipating and preparing for:
Autonomous Driving Features: While fully self-driving vehicles are still on the horizon, we're exploring the integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance safety and comfort.
AI-Powered Personalization: We're developing systems that learn from your preferences and habits, allowing us to offer an increasingly tailored experience with each ride.
Expanded Inter-City Services: As Kenosha continues to grow as a hub between Chicago and Milwaukee, we're expanding our inter-city SUV services to provide seamless connections to major Midwest destinations.
Enhanced Connectivity: We're constantly upgrading our in-vehicle technology to ensure you're as connected on the road as you are in your office or home.
