Somehow made it home without incident. Completely darkness, rain and heavy fog. Never been that scared driving before, and I've driven through several snowstorms. Highway etiquette rant because I feel like some of these people should go back to drivers ED :P

The visibility was near 0 and people thought passing me on a two way highway was a good idea. Flashing their high beams and trying to blind me. Like I was going as fast as I thought was safe (no visibility, water on top of ice, deer warning area...) and they were going at least 20 over the limit. I can never understand how some people are so impatient they will risk an accident over having to drive a bit slower because there could be deer or a moose on the road at any moment?

Finland used to have a similar festival called kekri/köyri (in the 1800s it was a sort of a harvest festival plus hired help switching jobs time) and Halloween becoming more and more popular is a great excuse for cultural heritage people to start injecting kekri back into the public consciousness.

i both wish and dont wish that halloween was more of a thing here in europe. on the one hand its a fun holiday and the vibe is improved a lot by people actually doing it, on the other its a totally US-implanted holiday that people dont rly have an attachment to lol

ACoEaS bros are now forced to go through a haunted house.

Who:

- forces everyone to keep going

- wants to desperately leave

- says they are not scared but flinches at every sound

- punches the haunted house worker when jumpscared

- thinks the whole thing is hilarious

- grabs onto the nearest person to them every time they hear a noise

- works at the haunted house

- somehow gets separated from the group and lost in the house for an untold length of time (bros leave without him)

Lucien is forcing everyone to keep going lmao he loves Kekri (fae version of Halloween). He was the one who researched the houses they should go to and brought them to the scariest one.

Aatos and Jora desperately want to leave but Aatos does his best to keep calm while Jora is grumbling under his breath saying how stupid this is (he is 2 jumpscares away from shitting himself). Raivis also wants to leave but only because he also thinks it’s stupid and his leg hurts.

Elmar punches the workers when he gets jumpscared and the house sues him because he knocks out one of the workers. The haunted house loses, of course, because Beron manipulates the system.

Eris and Galeti think the whole thing is hilarious and Galeti laughs out loud and teases Elmar when he gets jumpscared (Elmar punches him when they finish). Raivis yells at the workers when they try to jumpscare him (key word try) and a lot of the workers are too scared to scare him lmao. The group makes Raivis go first and Eris goes last and it eases a bit of the jumpscaring because Raivis is just storming through the house with a really mean face.

Jora, Galeti, and Aatos instinctively try to grab onto a brother when a jumpscare comes but they’re always yelled at and batted away😂

Elmar gets separated because he got in a fistfight with one of the workers and his brothers take the opportunity to leave him behind. Wanders around swearing and throwing fists at every moving thing and spends weeks complaining about it after 😂

Jesminda works at the haunted house, she dresses up as a big scary forest monster and hisses realistically and Lucien thinks it’s hilarious.😂😂💕 she would rule the haunted house business lmao
