Midsummer is approaching. I have been spending a lot of time at my brother's farm, because Valpuri is expecting again and she is going to give birth at any moment now. Little Matti and little Katarina are both growing up so quickly!

Johannes has strated to take resposibility around our farm. He is such a big boy now. He reminds me of his late brother Olavi and also his late father. I find myself watching him and remembering Olavi and Mats. But I am no longer sad. After Olavi visited me in a dream, I have had peace in my mind. Life goes on. And we with it.

Also, I messed up in previous post with baby names! Matti and Valpuri's infant is called Katarina, not Matti. Spoiler alert, Matti is about to be born 😅. I fixed the post, sorry about the confusion! (just me getting confused, when writing these posts months and months after taking the screenshots... 🥲)

Matti and Valpuri had had a child a little after Vilja was born. We went to see little Katarina, who looked just like his father! Valpuri was tired, because she was with child again. Everyday life was tough enough, having an infant to take care of, not to mention being pregnant at the same time. It haven't been easy on us either, now that my husband is gone... Luckily Matti has been helpful. Now is our turn to return the favor.

I gave Valpuri an afternoon to rest, while I took care of little Katarina, Johannes and Vilja. I took the girls with me, so the girls could do some chores around Matti and Valpuri's house. Matti was busy with the animals and the fields. Even though the harvest was looking good and abundant, we felt paranoid. What if it still would fail?
