There are a lot of little tidbits in this second issue of Cutie Honey ‘90, published in the US by Studio Ironcat. Obviously this is part of the Cutie Honey (キューティハニー) series.
In this issue, we get a special guest appearance form another of Go Nagai’s female superheroes with a series by her name, Kekko Kamen (けっこう仮面). Also we get this funny explanatory note from the translation editors assuring us that police gun violence in Japan is minimal.

Sailor Jupiter has been my favorite Sailor Soldier since I was a kid. I loved everything about her. I thought she was beautiful, I loved her school uniform, I loved that she was a talented cook, I loved that she was physically strong, I loved that she was a bit of tomboy and struggled to express her femininity. I could relate to how she falls for a cute guy at the drop of a hat.
I think the cool thing about Mako/Lita is that she always managed to have a great voice, no matter which version you were watching. Whether it was the original English dub, the Italian dub, Crystal or the original. But for me, Susan Roman and Emi Shinohara have always been the definitive actresses for Jupiter. Shinohara had such a spectacular vocal range. The way she goes from a delinquent to a cutesy girl head over heels in love back to the fierce Sailor Jupiter is a testimony to her talent. Not only was she a talented actress but a phenomenal singer as well. I get chills every time I hear her part during Moon Revenge.
Outside of Sailor Moon, I always loved her hilarious yet amazing performance as Kekko Kamen. A lot of folks don't know this but she actually reprised that role for a New Cutey Honey cassette audio drama.
Emi Shinohara left us far too soon. May she rest in peace.

A lot of people seem to have this idea that good comedy is offensive because offending people is funny, but I disagree. The real power of offensive comedy is its ability to bring up a valid or important point by highlighting controversial subjects in an absurd or campy way, and using that absurdity to take it down a peg. It's about foregoing nuance for a moment and making a stand on a subject without fear of retribution from the pearl-clutching Karens of the world. It's like when the city won't do anything about the antisemitic propaganda posted on a street corner, so a tagger comes along and spray paints a huge penis on it, forcing a cleanup crew to come out and do something about it, because of course they're more offended by a penis than they are by antisemitism. Grim as it is, it's still laughable, and THAT'S the real power of offensive comedy. And with that in mind, watching an exhibitionist superhero beat up Nazis in a high school and turn the S&M queen's own tactics against her is exactly what makes Kekko Kamen such a good show.

Things that have caught my interest from Discotek's last showcase thingo, and make me wish I had a R1 or R-All BD player so it'd be worth importing these things (or just hope that they give Crunchyroll the streaming license like they sometimes have in the past [i.e. Gunbuster 1]):

...ok maybe Captain Harlock is the only one worth owning, but the other two look interesting to watch
I tried Nanoha StrikerS years ago and didn't like it compared to its predecessors, but maybe I can see it in a better light now that I'm more familiar with Gundam and other mecha
The Go Nagai stuff piqued my interest too, but there's no way my parents will let me get away with importing the Kekko Kamen movies 😅

On the ask game 12... I actually ship Toga and redemption/sanity. And I was envisioning it happening after the Final War arc for added drama... But your take is good too.
And for other crossover asks... Do you know Beware of Chicken, Kengan Ashura, How Heavy Are the Dumbells You Lift?, Utena, or Konosuba? Because I have ideas for all of them. Also one for Kekko Kamen, but I think a crossover involving The Heroine That Hides Her Face But Not The Body (and that sobriquet means exactly what it sounds like. Blame Go Nagai) is something I should do myself.
Me 🤝 you
Giving child villains redemption arcs.
I... know some of the stuff you mentioned by name, but I never actually sat down and watched any of them.
