"Right now...we don't know how would this affect you as ordinary vampires since these things are Nagu!" Sid reminds Gin. "Do not worry about us!"

Sid! Watch out!

What!? Sid tries to counterattack while keeping the portal up for Gin and Ryunsouke to escape through. She sees Chuuya slammed his foot into a Nagu's face, kicking it away from the three.

"You have my thanks!" Sid tells Chuuya. She goes to summon deathly hands to grasp onto the ankles of the Nagu, hoping to hinder their movements which helps Matt and Jason to take them down with ease.

"You must go! NOW!" Sid pushes the two into the dark portal into the Horrors' headquarters where HYDE freaks are escorting them to safely.

Rust frowns at what Nagu is saying after storming off while the guards remain behind the door outside the holding block. Shark freak? A demon like him. Zed O'Brien, huh?

"You Irish, Zed?" Rust asked.

"Not really...I was adopted. I'm a merman so they said..." Zed answers.

"A merman? Like a mermaid? So you're like half-fish, like half-shark and man. That Nagu talking about you being shark freak?"

"Not sure about the shark part but yes," Zed answers. "What is your name?"

"Ironia 'Rust' Knight. But you can call me Rust." Rust introduces himself from the vent. "Rust...nice to make your acquaintance."

"Same here." Rust said, "Hey...is it all true?"

"I don't want to lie to you but I did hear shouting across the hall." Zed answers. Rust curses. "I am so sorry. But there might be a way for us to get out of here." "How?" "We can wait for my friends or we can get out right now...I have the key.."

Tanizaki and Ichiyo gasped seeing that but quickly tries to kill who was close now since they were already getting closer. However, Chuya was crushing a few others when helping Sid.

"Huh?! But we can't leave you guys here!" Gin was worried not wanting to leave them and Jason seeing him attacking. Even seeing Ryu not wanting to go.

"We might have no choice sis. We need to-"

"We are turned remember? We should be healed! It's not-" She checks to see the shot and true he was healing but she was worried even so. "But Ryunosuke-"

"We need to leave....till we can heal..." he said but Gin was worried before she heard hissing to look. One Nagu drawing close.

"Sid! Watch out!" As she was about to kill the Nagu about to slash at side only ripping some of the black cloak she had. Then as it tried to bite Sid, a shoe was seen slamming right into it's face. Blood spills before they were sent flying away from Sid, Ryu, and Gin.

"Back the fuck off! Don't you dare touch her!"

It shows to be Chuuya was not going to let anyone hurt her. He looks to the siblings. "You two need to get out now. Your injured but you need to be sure they didn't give you anything. Now move it!" he said now defending Sid crushing and blasting more away from the group.

"Tch, I should have known they would at least do something better but guess not. Maybe I need to warn the elder about that shark freak." he hissed but bangs on the door. "Next time you try getting out, were chaining your body to the wall!" after that, the nagu turns to leave after heading off to do something else as guards remain where they are till needed.

Steven was seated at his desk with the usual mug in hand. Papers were scattered and lined by the morning’s light, which peered between the blinds and stretched ever-further with the sunrise. His jacket was thrown over the shoulders of his chair, his tie loose, the top buttons of his shirt undone and sleeves rolled to the elbows. 

The telltale signs of another all-nighter. 

He gripped the back of his neck and tried to squeeze the tension away, sighing. Steven tossed the file down with the rest and dropped back in his chair, pivoting towards the window and gazing at nothing in particular while he sorted through his messy thoughts.

Well, that was indeed oddly sentimental of him, not that she particularly minded, hence she thought of it rather dear in a way one would be fond of childlike joy. But year already? It felt too fast but maybe that was because both in work and private life both lived fast-paced lives. Still, she had to nudge his shoulder with her own. 

“You smooth talker....” snickering she had to shake her head genuienly liking the idea. He knew her too well by now didn't he? “If I were to say no you would give the puppy eyes, and I am weak for those “ she teased while reaching a hand to gently pinch his cheek.
