Just posting to let you know that I'm on hiatus right now.

It originally should have been half a hiatus because work has been super stressful these past few weeks already, but now my internet crapped out on me and apparently there's no eta on when they'll be able to fix it.

So no watching bl for me, or making gifs, or even spending time on tumblr because I need all my mobile bandwidth for work 😭

I applied for an internal position at work that aligns with my career goals and some of the strengths I have in my current position. I passed the written/technical exercise late last week and I have an interview tomorrow!!! I’m not sure what my chances are of getting the role (probably 50/50), but it’d be really cool if it happens.

Dying my hair and using one of the two brands I've been using for years. But they've changed it since I last used it and now the instructions where a bit unclear. So I don't know if my hair will be the dark, vibrant, green I want it to be or if it's gonna be that weird, pale, pastel green that I definitely do not want.

New Year plans:

No new yarn shopping until I make at least 10 items from what I have at home. Each sock PAIR counts as an item, not individual sock.

No new craft shopping until I use up at least one category of items (eg. epoxy sets) OR I manage to clean up the working area and I'm sure it all fits in the storage bookshelves.

No new writing implements shopping until I use up one entire notebook, one entire ink bottle or similar.

And I must clean up all the Christmas ornament decoration leftovers still littering the living room, as it is supposed to be a seasonal craft, not a year-round mess maker ;)

And, something for the entire year: Make a pair of socks every week. At the end of the year, i will have 50+ pairs of socks, I will have used up the astonishing yarn backlog I'm keeping around and I will have became a better knitter. Lots of benefits :)
