KEEP MY HEART CHAPTER VII
a/n;; the story of ayla and manon in heir of fire is coming to an end, and i have so many ideas for queen of shadows omgggg
WARNINGS;; spoilers for heir of fire, allusions to sex
manon was with her grandmother, and she was there too. i’m not going to let you alone again, manon has said.
“why is it, that i have to hear from gods-dammed cresseida that your runty, useless wyvern hasn’t made the crossing? Why is it that i am in the middle of a meeting, planning these war games so you can win, and the other matrons tell me that you aren’t allowed to participate because your mount will not make the crossing and therefore isn’t allowed to fly in the host?”
ayla tightened her hands. she hated her. and she hated her more when she hit manon on her cheek, a trail of blood running down.
“you will make the crossing tomorrow, manon. tomorrow, and i don’t care if you splatter yourself on the rocks. if you live, you had better pray to the darkness that you win those games. because if you don’t…”
she wished she could kill her right there.
✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮
they were all there.
ayla was between asterin and sorrel again. witches lined the viewing platform, and high above, the high witches.
she heard the matron. “we’re waiting manon, but by all means, take your time” a growl left her lips and she felt asterin’s eyes. calm down, we don’t want you dead. they all laughed. and she wanted to kill them all.
manon tugged her reins, but abraxos looked at her grandmother and let out a warning growl… a threat. again the matron called for her. sorrel and asterin exchanged a glance, and then they looked at her. every single one of the thirteen was reaching for their weapons, ayla too. because if they hurt her… she would not leave anyone with life.
she watched as manon gripped abrraxos’s snout, forcing his gaze away from her grandmother. “just once, all you have to do is make this jump once, abraxos, and the you can shut them up forever”
a two-note beat.
the beat of the chained bait beasts.
louder and louder.
asterin reached for her shield and joined in.
the thirteen took up the beat.
ayla took up the beat.
“you hear that? that is for you” she said to him “you are one of the thirteen. from now until the darkness cleaves us apart. you are mine, and i am yours. let’s show them why” ayla felt her heart clenched.
and then manon was flying.
a tear rolled down her cheek, and she didn’t care the matron was looking at her, at the tear.
✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮✮
she had decided she wanted to make manon a gift. had decided it the moment she was flying with abraxos, shuting mouth’s.
manon was abraxos, making sure his wings were alright. she looked in the trunk for a set of lingerie she had hidden. “there you are” she murmured. she hadn’t wore this set. ever. she bought it one day but never wore it truly, not for manon. she bathed and then she put it on. she loved the set. it hugged her body perfectly, like a second skin. the bra pulled up her breasts, showing them a little more and the tong… it only covered her core.
laying down on the bed she waited for her.
a moment later, she heard footsteps and knew they were manon’s. the door opened and manon stopped dead. her eyes a little wider as she looks at the sight of her mate. closing the door with lock, ayla stood up, her boots were the only sound in the room. manon looked at her from head to toe, a prey. and manon was the hunter.
“i’ve never seen this one” her finger curled around the brace of her bra.
“i know” she said. then she felt her hands on her waist, pulling her toward her body. ayla took off her red cape, then her riding leathers, her boots… until she was in her underwear. manon lip’s found her neck, painting red and purple on it, marks she would wear tomorrow with pride. her lip’s traveled to her breasts, a hand touching her right nipple through the bra. a soft moan. manon went to her ear, leaving a kiss, and she purred.
“as much as i love this set on you” a hand went straight to her wet panties. “i prefer you naked”
with a trembling hand, ayla placed it on her neck, a little squeeze. she moved her lips near her’s. “then undress me” she murmured.
a wicked smile on her face and ayla knew they weren’t going to sleep.
“as you wish, witchling”

OK SO
I had an idea snippet for the ending of the Ineffable Family series but it made me sad and I dunno if I will ever draw it so Im just gonna share my idea with you in written form:
(btw It's not fanfic quality, it's more messy bulletpoints written out within 5min or so)
---
Astra is growing up, getting older and lives a happy life amongst human society with her parents on earth. One day she falls in love with a human and they share the kind of deep bond like Azi and Crowley do. At some point Astra even announces that they gonna get married and her parents are super excited and want to make her the bestest wedding gift ever.
They wrack their brains over what this gift could be for a quite a while but nothing seemed right.
A book? To generic and boring. A kitchen aid? Nah, probably an other persons idea already. Money? Missing the deep meaning behind it.
It's one day before the wedding and Astra asks Crowley and Azira to meet at their special spot at a wonderful lonely flower field somewhere in the nowhere. They loved to visit this special place and spend hours being together, having picknicks or gaze at the stars (Yes, in this version Crowley can see stars). C+A arrive at the spot where Astra is already waiting for them and they are quite curious why she wanted to meet up here.
Astra turns around and looks at them with a smile, but it's a mix of a happy and sad one.
She knows what she would like the gift to be and she describes how she feels different from all the angels and demons and that she never experienced an existence before the beginning or witnessed when everything started. She loved growing up between humans and experience change herself. But she knows her true love, her human, will wither away in what feels just like an eye blink in the life of an immortal being.
Astra comes closer to her parents and holds their hands, telling them how much she loves them and apologizes that what she will say next, won't be easy.
The best gift, she could ever ask for is Azira and Crowley combining their powers and making her mortal.
Ofc both seem bewildered at such request and try to talk sense to their daughter but in the end they recognized that they would have done the same for their partner because a life without them would hurt too much.
With a heavy heart A+C respect Astra's wish and grand it to her.
She lives a happy life with her human, both equally growing older and A+C watching over them like guardian angels to make sure no sickness or harm comes into their house... till the day they have to say goodbye.
Astra and her love are not going to Heaven or Hell. They return back to the stars where they can be together and where A+C can see them from earth.
And then the end says
"Ad Astra"
(lat.= to the stars)

Things that I loved about the fifth episode of The Rebound:
Ryu wasn't drunk even though everyone else was, and he knows the coach will know they drank since the show is not dropping the coach having a drinking problem.
The coach picked Chogun.
(Chogun and Jedi sat next to each other and giggled!)
And Ryu and Zen realized they don't play well as a team, they just happen to be really good individual basketball players unlike the coach and Chogun who play well together.
Ryu helped Zen lie to Atom. Their teamwork is built on a shaky foundation of lies, but at least it's a start!
Atom doesn't really have a shot with Zen (pun intended), but he is getting a backstory and his father is The Eclipse's closeted teacher Chadok. Thanks, Golf!
Instead of First being jealous about Lin's crush on Ryu, he still gave Ryu the snacks, which makes his pining even better!
And even though Prince likes Jed, he left Jed to pick up the basketballs on his own because he wasn't going to put up with Jed's whining.
This show finally did what these other shows haven't and made the boys stay tied up to take off clothes!
The colors stay coloring like the black and white.
And they are tied up with a blue cloth since whatever secrets Ryu is holding onto are coming between them.
The Spartacus moment where everyone took the blame.
And the coach said "bet" and punished them all including his daughter.
These are my Mighty Ducks Silly Buffalo, and I love them!
