#FELT THAT GOOD GOOD VINDICATION HOARDING SCROLLS THE ENTIRE TIME FOR ONE (1) TO FINALLY COME IN HANDY HAHAHAHAHAHFHGD#This fight was absolutely bananas - I was so close to restarting it when everything looked bleak but I didn't and I'm so glad#because it made for a very dramatic story lol#Rambling incoming:#I split the party really bad bc I wasn't super clear on the AOE lightning attack so when the second one rolled around Gale was the only-#-one able to take cover in the building...but I don't think it even worked??#Lae'zel was down long before then but Wyll and Croissant were in death saves#Used all of Gale's movement AND misty step to get to Croissant but he still couldn't get close enough & had to throw a potion#I think I used a potion of speed then so Croissant could cast globe of invuln right away#(and it took 10min of looking through my inventory to even see I had something to do bc otherwise we would've died right there don't @ me)#But then we were STILL too far away from Ansur for 60' spells so I had to keep running them out of the globe - using a spell - and then-#-mISTY STEPPING BACK INTO IT BC WE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MOVEMENT SPEED#it was rough but we made it#bg3#baldur's gate 3#bg3 spoilers#act III spoilers#ansur quest#croissant adventures#tav#ansur#gale#gale dekarios#breadweave#gale x tav#YEAH WE'RE PUTTING IT IN THAT TAG#comics

#Baldur's Gate 3#BG3#Astarion#screenshots#shitposting#my cleric is basically polar opposite of default Dark Urge#also an sage and acolyte of Bahamut#only healer in the party. the mom friend.#me selecting Weapon Master as first feat be like: I'm a healer. but... *pulls out a two-handed sword*#I only carry quarterstaff for of sparing enemies with non-lethal attack#tbh they would've been much deadlier if they were a paladin or monk but It's for roleplaying purpose#tall buff dragonborn running around the frontline wearing a heavy adamantine armor. rescuing companions and hurling fire barrels.#who also stocks up everyone's inventory with potions and keeps them well fed#Astarion: *feeds off them* My cleric: *heals themselves with Restoration spell next morning like nothing ever happened*#btw It's really sweet how both my cleric and Astarion get worried for each other when one of them are on low HP mid-combat.

Rimworld became so much more fun once I learned how to spawn shit in with dev tools tbh. I only really use it for hay and building supplies 👍 sometimes food if I'm desperate

Recent game related things .. hrmm...
#I do like the inconsistency of the first map. that is actually something older but that I re-found and added to my Game Reference stuff#so that when characters reference where they're from I can be accurate. I like that the whole map is kind of shifted up that way. Where the#actual south part doesnt even count as the south since its Too Far and Scary lol. and if you say you're from 'the north' thats basically#like.. one single continent. Though some people do make distinctions like 'north midlands' or etc. still. I like the ways that common#language isn't always precisely accurate like that. and thinking about why a culture would classify things a certain way or etc. etc.#The inventory page is so funny to me because it's literally just the BASe like.. sample layout just to make sure it works properly with 0#actual design into it. just colored rectangles thrown together in MS paint. but what if I like... left it like that.. what if all the other#art in the game and UI is like stylized and fully matching BUT the inventory/journal/etc. screens I just left as plain colored blocks#with random misalignments and black spots and etc gjhbhjj... It looks unfinished in a Funny Contrast way to me.#the wordcounts are just like... my past few days of writing.. I am still not getting 2200 words a day done or whatever I needed. I'm lucky#if it's even half of that .... tee hee.. :3c I do also keep having appointments and other things going on but..grrr...#The full map of the area is probably not necessary but I thought it would be more realisitc if people were able to reference things. Like i#you have people all living in a city area probably at some point someone might mention a neighboring city or some landmark nearby#or etc. so I thought having at least the basic names of what's around for reference would be sensible. A side character mentioning#'oh yeah I don't live here full time I just travel from Marisene sometimes' or whatever makes it seem more like a Real#Fleshed Out Place than people just making vague references like 'the river' or 'i come from a city nearby' or 'i went to a place somewhere#around here' or 'the other city' or etc. lol.. Especially since global cities/global areas are weird as they operate almost like an#independent country within their walls. so it's like a micro country inside of another country usually. just plopped down in some agreed#upon plot of land that won't be too disruptive to the main country around it. That could get very complex depending on the cultural and#political backdrop of where they're placed (though obviously they try to choose the 'easiest' areas possible for it). Asen is a very mild#country without much history of conflict or anything so it's fine. But still interesting that Sifeh and the entire branched out global area#border three other districts of Asen. Which means like 3 times the local representitives you'l have to negotiate with for some major change#or anything. I think one of the 'random characters you can find around the world and have short discussions with just to make the area#feel more populated and real even though theyre not actual important npcs' is going to be a guy who actually serves on the council that#handles running the global areas and he's like.. some perpetually exhausted middle aged elf running around with a clipboard or whatever#ANYWAY...... hrgh... still trying to write when I can....#I WISH so badly that I had the scope for a simple character creation menu and all character interactions would allot for the background#of your player character. And also to have a simple day night cycle where places in the world you explore/people you talk to during the day#have new options or dialogue at night.. BUT alas... I already am so behind on everything as is lol.. aughhh... T o T#As the worlds number one Needless Detail And Complexity Enjoyer i must dilligently prevent myself from adding additional complexity

The winning option of yesterday's poll was that the adventurer should offer the Well Creature some bread and soup ….
"Completely unsure how to even begin to interact with the strange creature from the well, The Adventurer recalls reading in a book once that 'food is a universal language', or uh.. something like that.. thus, some hearty soup and bread would surely bridge any communication barriers... probably. He serves the little cannister of broth cold, straight from his bag just dumped into a wooden bowl, mostly because he's far too nervous to try and start a fire with someone watching.. hopefully they won't mind the food not being warmed..
After gently placing a single bread roll next to the soup, he steps back, gesturing towards the meal with an uncertain smile. The creature pauses, sniffs around, then promptly disappears back into the darkness. Just as The Adventurer begins to sulk over his apparent rejection, something stirs behind him... With a rush of creaking and plopping noises, the creature resurfaces, revealing it's massive serpent-like body as it hoists itself over the crumbled stone of the well's edge with it's many arms. It cracks open it's mighty jaw just far enough for a tiny blue tongue to slither out, then politely slurps at the soup, delicate enough not to spill any.
Stumbling backwards in shock, The Adventurer simply sits there staring the entire time whilst the creature happily (and rather quickly) enjoys their meal... Seemingly appreciative of his kind offerings, another strange slinking arm creeps up from the depths of the well, daintily opening a velvet sack with it's claws and laying out a small assortment of items onto the grass. Still a bit shaken, but also never one to turn down a free gift, The Adventurer senses that the creature intends for him to take any single item of his choosing... but, which one?"

I always want to make it#extremely detailed and 500 paragraphs long. Giving myself a limit of like 3 paragraphs and a time limit of 20 minutes#is actually impossible for my brain gjhbjhbhj#but I have to post it anyway otherwise I'd spend forever on it and never actually get these done but..hhhh#Just know I am going into my evil vampire library to collapse onto the fainting chair in anguish each time after I hit post#Telling a chronically longwinded details obsessive rambler to ''keep it short'' is like telling a cat not to meow. not to run around the#house at 3am. not to be round and perfect. It is simply against nature#ANYWAY. These items might be useful later. As he continues on his journey - he does indeed have an inventory in my mind#like he can lose and aquire things. has a limited amount of money. Can change his outfit or etc. depending on the choices#people make in the polls. These may not have an immediate purpose (though some can) they'll be factored in down the road

does anyone else have a certain way they like to start their minecraft worlds. im talking like super specific, down to the block.
#minecraft#mine is 6 wood logs and 14 cobblestone.#keep 1 wood block in the top left of my inventory for stacking. turn the other 5 into planks.#make a crafting bench and keep 3 planks for a pickaxe. turn the rest into sticks.#separate 16 sticks for a stack of torches and then make a furnace stone axe and pickaxe. no sword.#furnace and bench go to the left of the hotbar. tools go to the right. axe specifically on the far right and pickaxe to its left.#use stone axe to get exactly a stack of logs. turn any excess into planks.#^ gets genuinely annoyed if i mess this up.

my friends going to my base after a few days of not logging on and seeing an entire birch forest where there used to be nothing
#i’m gonna put bees in the forest eventually too :3#i needed a project to keep me busy#it is. so time consuming placing each and every sapling#it’s also time consuming collecting the saplings#also its a tall birch forest. i am making them tall#i like how silly tall birch trees look#BUT at least i have an elytra on that realm. makes some things easier#and also keep inventory is on. which makes my life so much easier and the only reason why i managed to get an elytra#🐀#the rat mines

It's so funny how everyone plays games differently. Apparently it's a common complaint in Tears of the Kingdom that arrows are hard to come by (judging from a handful of youtube comments and my spouse's complaints). Meanwhile my arrow count hasn't dipped below 275 for the last, like, 50+ hours of gameplay. 🤷🏻♀️
#My spouse: attaching rockets to shields to shoot himself into the sky so he can slow time#and get headshots for every single enemy he encounters#Me: pulling out dank flowers from my inventory and going 'Um have you heard of Muddle Bud??'#Muddle up a camp. They attack each other. You come in at the end to take out the last one standing.#At most it costs you 4 arrows and you get like 15 back between the archers killed and the crates you smash open#But my spouse doesn't even smash the crates!!!#'You only get like 3 arrows from that'#YES TIMES LIKE 100 CAMPS! THAT'S 300 FREE ARROWS BUDDY!#Why do you think I always keep an axe on hand???#For the crate looting and monster tree killing!#Duh!

Doing a true evil Dark Urge run (going horribly)
Decided I didn’t have it in me to side with the goblins and raid the emerald grove so in exchange for saving the tieflings I decided my act 1 evil deed would be to help Wyll kill Karlach (AWFUL do not recommend)
Only to realize that when my dark urge is poised to kill Isobel in act 2 all the tieflings I saved are going to die anyways when the protection on last light inn fails
