Taste 💋
Tumblr media
“I’m giving this to you. Keep it.” Seo-Jun handed you the lilac music box with a bright smile.
“What? No, I can’t take that!” you protested, surprised. It was only your second date, and he was already offering one of his most treasured possessions.
“Y/N, I want you to have it. Please,” he said softly, his tone earnest.
You hesitated, but then took the delicate box from his large hands, studying its intricate details. A warm, unfamiliar sensation washed over you, filling you with a comforting sense of something long missed.
“Thank you,” you murmured, your voice barely audible.
Seo-Jun’s deep, soft laugh echoed through the room. “You’re welcome.”
Suddenly, you stood up and made your way over to him. He had been so careful, so respectful, keeping his distance—ironic, considering how your first meeting ended tangled in your linen sheets.
He looked up at you, confusion in his golden eyes, as you cupped his face gently in your hands.
“I want to thank you properly,” you whispered before pressing your lips to his.
The kiss felt like heaven, something you could lose yourself in forever. You felt his smile against your lips as you pulled away, teasing him.
“What’s that smile for?”
“It’s the taste of your lips,” he replied, mesmerized.
“My lips?”
“Yeah, they’re sweet and so soft. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them since we last parted.”
Heat began to rise within you, the desire intensifying.
„Then let me give you another taste.“

Gitae Kim x Reader: K-dramas
G/N. Crack. Platonic or romantic. Masterlists
Tumblr media
The strangest thing about Gitae, of which there are many, is that he gets heavily invested.
In k-dramas, that is.
It's a strange interest from a strange guy.
He never watches it outright, usually scrolling on his phone next to you. Though when you occasionally turn to him, he's avidly watching the screen.
And he would never watch it on his own either, instead suggesting "why don't you watch that shit you like?" and sneaking glances here and there.
You never mention it to him, because this trait is so deeply endearing from an intimidating and terrifying man, that you fear talking about it at all will break the spell.
You wonder if it's because he misses his home. If watching k-dramas and seeing glimpses of Seoul, hearing his mother tongue makes him feel nostalgic.
However, the least strange thing, as you have gradually come to find out, is that he prefers k-dramas with a little less melodrama, and a lot more murdery and bloodthirsty.
The more people dying the better. The more fights the better.
Especially if there's betrayal. Especially if there's death of family members (preferably the dad or siblings).
It's frankly a little unhinged. Watching the grin spread across his face as the plot unfolds, the way his eyes light up when the body count increases. Although it's a challenge you've personally taken on to find the most violent series you can that ticks all his boxes.
In the end, you are successful. Gitae drops all pretence of being on his phone. It's hard to distract him from anything but the action unfolding.
And the final cherry on top, is when you see him browsing forums, reading up theories and actually participating in discussions. Leaving deeply unpopular comments wishing for more brutality and sadism. Ideally, with the antagonist, no actually scratch that, the whole cast dying too.

This man is everything, he just loves her so much that he is so desperate for her to be happy and silently begging to be part of her happiness. I love him too much.

If I had a nickel for every time I watched a webtoon-turned-kdrama in which the fml discovers her fiancé (who doesn't actually love her) and her sister/sister figure (who is always belittling her and planning her downfall while pretending to be nice) together and dies in a tragic manner, then travels back in time and decides to get revenge with the help of a good female friend and the rich successful ml who is also the fiancé's boss and has also travelled back in time and has a certain physical mark to prove it and has been in love with her since before, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't alot but it's weird that it happened twice.

I wonder if the popularity of time-travel do-over narratives (Marry My Husband, Perfect Marriage Revenge, a million other webtoons) is connected to gender expectations. The heroines live mild-mannered, passive, compliant lives, and are rewarded with utter disaster. Their second chance do-over lets them justify aggressive, unfeminine behavior.
Time-travel murder victim defies her murderous mother-in-law? YOU GO GIRL. Regular heroine defies mother-in-law? Maybe give going-along a chance?
Reincarnated heroine maneuvers to improve her husband's political standing? If she doesn't, the kingdom falls. Regular heroine? Chill out, schemer.
Hm.

I know that many people wanted other actors for the role but look at him, he looks a lot like the weebton and although I only saw him act in Mr. Queen I liked him for this role from the first moment. He gave me that jihyuk vibe and these two episodes confirm that he is perfect.
