so for lent I have given up youtube, specifically I have given up watching my beloved elden ring streamers who coddle and soothe me like a traumatised child. I am allowed to literally watch anything else but I am trying to also instigate a further difficulty: NO REWATCHING.

I have also TAKEN UP running again. the last time I did couch to 5k was in 2014, nine fucking years ago. It did work. This morning I went for a run on the heath and it was magnificent but my lungs have made horrific noises all afternoon.

anyway sorry for the inevitable arrival of new blorbos and increase in tetchiness I know both these things are good for me. I have also resolved to write every day! happy lent.

What's on right now

There is a crazy mix of Kdramas on right now and there are soooo many. Here are my current favourites. Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Netflix This one is my favourite. Ju Ji Hoon plays a crazy trauma surgeon who can do everything. Doesn’t matter that all of those specialties would take about 20 years PYG training, he can do them all! This show is a perfect mix of comedy, action, and revenge.…

Moving is drama of the year. The way I don’t know what to do with myself after completing this show is just embarrassing. I am no longer the same.

april's watchlist march 2025

it's march already! i made some changes to how i outline my list to simplify it. (also, since i'm observing Ramadan, i will most likely reduce my watching and giffing time and perhaps my online time here this month.)

so here's my main list for the month (which only includes two shows that i live watch):

thamepo -- although i hate to see it end, i am so looking forward to the finale next week! so far it keeps exceeding my expectations with all its unpredictability and i'm ready for the final surprise. i'm gonna miss this show so much and the boys. marspo really got my full heart just as much as thamepo.

perfect 10 liners -- my current ultimate hyperfixation: faifawine. i love them so much already from the start and can't wait to see the way they 'fix' each other's heart <3 they would be my giffing priority, along with thamepo, although i might still gif other shows/characters occasionally.

besides thamepo and perfect 10 liners, i'm casually watching these shows on my own terms (or not live-watching): us and dear my secretary. most likely followed by my golden blood once it starts airing. (edit: why did i forgot to include ossan's love thailand.)

i am also very slowly catching up with a few finished shows: love scout (kdrama), your sky, and love sick 2024 (i love these kids so much i don't want to finish it soon!). and as if i still have a lot of time on my hands, i'm eyeing these shows as well, but we'll see how it goes: dalah (thdrama), the best thing (cdrama), and undercover high school (kdrama). considering adding nevertheless the jdrama version as well, but i know my capacity.

(i'm trying to add varieties to my watchlist this year --that is, checking on the kdramas and jdramas and cramas world-- but i'll see how things turn out.)
